Located in Famous Food Street Eats, we decided to try this place out while waiting for one of our other orders nearby. $13 -- Pork and shrimp dumplings for 3 of the biggest and juiciest dumplings you'll ever have. It comes with a dipping sauce that I just drenched my dumplings with and though it wasn't cheap I can certainly guarantee you that you will not regret trying this out! Do I think it’s overpriced for the amount? Oh yeah! But was it delicious? Sure was! To each their own, so I’ll let you decide if it’s worth visiting. (8/100—2022)

Food prices at Famous Foods Street Eats are definitely not cheap, but you pay for what you pay for on the Las Vegas Strip. Anyhow, we ordered the snack bites marinated cucumbers and it was refreshing and delicious. We also ordered the pan fried dumplings and buns, they are pretty decent. Fast service and the digital ipad ordering is efficient, we can sit and chill at the table and once we get a text message, we just walked over and pickup our food.

Had hand pulled noodles Zia Jiang Mian which has minced pork and black bean sauce. Basically fast food or food court style service. The texture of the noodle was good. Small amount for around $20 (including tax). Did not see anyone hand pulling the noodles at the spot. Maybe they were premade. Overall okay.

Honestly the food was decent. It’s not the best but you can tell they used fresh ingredients. Impressed by the use of a very traditional vinegar and chili dipping sauce for the buns. The buns should had been more soupy. Dumpling should have used a handmade wrapper rather then machine made since it adds a layer of texture.

This is the worse place that I have ever do a review on google. Me and my friend went to Vegas trip and stay in Resort World of Conrad, we went to the food court. I bought chicken rice on the other place and he got this dumpling here, it is ridiculous expensive for just these 3 small dumpling (10.99 USD). Money is part of the issue but can the portion of foods be more reasonable for customer to pay this kind of money. Not going there for sure in future, I hope people after seeing my review, won’t go there and give them business so can help them to save their time and money.

Tasted DECENT but 3 fairly small dumplings for $10+?… you can definitely do better. They are good for a small snack or if you’re really craving dumplings; but they’re not worth it. Originally thought it would be a bigger since it’s so hefty but no, they’re small. Like you could probably eat a dumpling in one bite and I’m a small gal.

Quite expensive bao and quite small. I've been to Shangdong province, and my mother-in-law was born there. These taste almost nothing like the dumplings I had there. They are much more similar to Japanese style convenience store bao.

Well this was a letdown to say the least. Located in Resorts World. Fast casual where you order at a kiosk and grab food when you get a text message that it's ready. The dumplings were disappointing with no real flavor. The flavor came from the sauce and it wasn't exactly good.

I am glad there is a dumpling restaurant in the eatery inside Resort World. The food was tasty and legit flavors coming from here. It would be nice to have a little more interaction with the staff but to order the food we used the screens that are used to order food so didn't get to talk much to the staff.

Have you ever spent $12 on three dumplings? Probably not. Because you're not a dumbass. If you did spend $12 on three dumplings, then remember that you're not alone and that it's a life experience. Okay, in reality, we're both idiots. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. The dumplings weren't bad. Actually, they were decent, but it almost felt like I was overspending to forget about the challenges of life. Got stress? Order $4 dumplings. Maybe not the best solution but at least I also got to eat Cucumber Salad--with a spoon! They gave me a spoon and I had to get back to a poker tourney so I used a spoon. The Cucumber Salad was pretty good but also overpriced. In fact, while I love the venue (gorgeous property), it has the most overpriced food of anywhere I have ever been--not just casinos. This was also like a Last Supper. Due to constant empty promises, betrayals, cheats, con artists, and a criminal underbelly in some places (Texas), I have decided to leave the poker industry. I have also stopped using all social media (except Yelp if that's considered social media). This also means no more books. Therefore, I'll be using Yelp a little more often. And I will still play poker when traveling overseas for new adventures, but I have no plans domestically unless offered a surprise deal to promote for a legit venue. In conclusion, we covered overpriced food, life experiences, coping with stress via dumplings, a Last Supper, and poker. It was a scenic ride to telling you the ultimate point: You might not want to eat here unless you're rich and you don't eat much.

Not good but when you are hungry and it's convenient it's ok. Located at the food hall Famous food Street eats at Resorts world. It's super expensive like $12 for 3 small dumplings or 2 pan fried baos. The filling is kinda bland but dip it in the soy sauce chili oil and it makes it better.

Delicious buns! Absolutely craveable and delicious. The buns were crispy and fluffy and soft in the inside. With a dash of sauce - just perfect!

Worst Shang jian bao I've ever had. Virtually no filling and the texture was terrible. The stomach problems that started 20 minutes after eating one (I couldn't finish the other) will haunt me for ages. Not worth the money.

I was at Resorts World today and wanting a snack, and saw this place in the food court area. Resorts World has a ton of food court options, with a lot of Asian restaurants, too. I ordered the cheapest option: three veggie dumplings for about $8. They were pretty small. They came with a semi-spicy dipping sauce. Both the sauce and dumplings were good but I was disappointed at the tiny portion size. I'd probably try one of the other Resorts World food court places before going back to this place.

Another one of the many Food Courtyard kiosk reataurants here. Order from one of the many digital wall menus in the area, pay. They text you when you food is ready. Dumplings and steamed Bao buns are the order here. The price expensive for what is received. 3 small buns for $13 and the same with the dumplings overpriced for the size and quality received. The dumplings were okay but at basically $4 a piece the quality is no where near San Francisco for literally twice the price. The one consistent theme in every kiosk we tried was average food thats overpriced even for vegas, it was obvious at least to me. You are paying for "the exerience" more than the food. This was my first and last visit to this dumpling takeout. I ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings, and a cucumber salad. The flavors of the food were good, but the portions are incredibly small (only receive 3 dumplings) and the prices are expensive.

Yikes. I guess you expect over priced in Vegas but goodness gracious. $11 for 3 tiny veggie dumplings?! And $13 for 3 tiny Bao buns. Eek! Maybe I'm just spoiled in LA with all the good Asian food we have but I would not pay for these again. Not sure I would even pay half the price. Even the dipping sauce wasn't very good. Tasted like cheap soy sauce and a squeeze of siracaha. Really disappointing :(

Located in the District food court, Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings has good food. The issue I have is what you get for the price. Going to any dim sum restaurant in the valley would cost you a ton less. The food is okay and nothing special.

The pork had good flavor and the shrimp was good. It came with a mild dipping sauce not sure what it was. It was ok. However the higher price may deter people from giving it a shot honestly. This is located inside Resorts World's street eats food court! The Sheng Jian Bao was just okay. I was a bit suspicious if it would be good because I got the "Your order is ready" text almost seconds after I ordered on the kiosk. The filling was flavorful, but had no soup inside (which is arguably the best part of the bun!). The bun itself was really soft, but the bottom wasn't crispy at all. 3 for $13 is very pricey, but they were quite big compared to other Sheng Jian Bao I've seen.

3.5 Stars; The attraction for me here was their consecutive 9-year Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand recognition for their original location in Asia. Pretty good accolades for dumplings, right?! The Sheng Jian Baos ($13.00/3pc.) were pretty good. Not overly greasy, tho the dough was a tad drier in parts closer to the pan fried sections. The meat was nice and moist. Overall bao size is on the smaller side. The Guo Tie Chicken Dumplings ($12.00/3pc) were nice and plump. The wrapping job is a bit sloppy, given their Michelin pedigree, but the chicken filling was tasty. If you've never ever had these traditional Sheng Jian Baos or dumplings before, I'd definitely give this a try while you're here. They're good, but wouldn't necessarily say they're levels above other places serving similar items. At $4.00/dumpling, or over $4.00/bao, pricing is still fairly high for what you're getting, even for being on the Strip, particularly given its fast-casual set-up.

Really expensive for the small portions. You really need two orders to get full. It is tasty though. If you really need something to tie you over, go for it. But otherwise look for more bang for your buck.

Wow. This place is great. I know everyone is complaining about price but it's no different than everything else overpriced in Vegas. The soup dumpling have a great broth hugged in the perfect handmade noodle. The pennut butter french toast is rich and not too sweet. The BBQ pork dumplings were great too.

What a disgrace. Disgusting miniature dumplings at 3 dollars a pop. Dry, flavorless, overcooked. Simply the worst dumplings I've ever had. Grab some frozen ones from costco instead. This place needs to shut down asap.

First off, this is located in Resort World's Famous Foods Section so parking is dependent on if the hotel has free parking or not. Got the Sheng Jian Bao. Overall 8/10. Solid but nothing too special. The meat was well cooked and the sauce it came with was decent. Something I think is good to try but for its price, maybe not the thing to get since for three it comes out to 10.50 without tax.

Okay look, I get it, you're going to be paying a pretty penny for Las Vegas food; and this is a food mall spot. The food is only okay, and you're paying a TON for what you're getting. It's like 13 bucks for 3 dumplings / meat buns. It's definitely not worth that price. Then the service is extremely slow. How hard is it to get 3 dumplings out on a plate? Cold pickled cucumbers should be pre-made and marinating.

Very expensive for what they are, and I'm saying that as someone who pays Gavin Newsoms tax rate in California But all in all they were super yummy, and my Chinese husband say they are "pretty legit"

The dumplings are too small, bland and chewy. The cucumber salad was okay but disappointed it was an $1 more to go. Wish I read the reviews before buying food here.

What a mistake to try this place after seeing it all over social media. Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings is located in the newly opened Resorts World Las Vegas. You can find it in the overhyped Famous Food Street Eats which tries to mimick the food stalls in SE Asia. All food orders are contactless via the tablets. We arrived here early so the food court was not opened until 11am. We decided to order a few things to try. **Guo Tie Pork & Shrimp Dumplings - TBH frozen dumplings are more tastier. **Sheng Jian Bao - pork filled pan fried bao. This one was not bad. I've had better elsewhere. **Dan Dan Mee - wheat noodles, seasoned pork, peanut broth, and chili sauce. What is this mess?! Skip! The sauce was not savory and spicy but watery with no flavor. I was beyond disappointed with the taste and quality of these dumplings. I know the food on the strip is overpriced and I'm willing to pay it for excellent food. However, the total was nearly $50 for a meal that was completely mediocre. No thanks!

Our first dinner in Las Vegas led us to Ah Chun Shandong Dumpling at the Resorts World Famous Foods Street Market. After checking into our room, we headed straight to the street market in search of a quick and satisfying meal. We decided to try their hand-pulled noodles and their pork and shrimp dumplings. While it wasn't a gourmet experience, the food served its purpose well - we were able to satisfy our hunger. If we find ourselves at Resorts World again and in need of a quick and filling meal, we won't hesitate to come back to Ah Chung Shandong Dumpling. Nice eats!

I only had three dumplings, so that's all I can base my review off of. I was fine with the price for three dumplings - until I opened the box and saw that they are about the size of a half of a golf ball. So for perspective, it cost me nine dollars for one and a half golf balls :) If they had been flavorful I would chalk it up to Las Vegas pricing. That was the other part of the problem - even when I soaked them in the sauce that came with it, it was still virtually flavorless.

Location: Resorts World Street Eats Food Court. Free parking in RW parking structure. Gates open and close but there is no charge at this point. Walk about 800 feet. Venue: Part of the new resort food court. Open table seating. Order at Kiosk near the shop or at any of the Kiosks. Cashless hotel. You will be texted when order is ready. Food: Very limited menu of dumplings, noodles and Bao Buns. Plus cucumber salad. I had the meatless vegetarian dumplings, cucumber salad and the Shengjian Bao. All were very nice. The vegetarian plus cucumber was a nice healthful combo. There are almost no vegan/vegetarian options at the food court. The fried bao was also quite good. Supposedly this place is associated with a Michelin Star Chef or restaurant. In light of that standard, I'd say these are 4 star items. Let's see if they can get that Michelin some day. Prices: Yes these are resort prices and these are high end food court stalls vs. low end (such as Panda Cuisine or Subway Sand). Those who feel that this place is not a good value are probably right. Those who feel that this a special indulgent treat, they are right too.

Save yourself the disappointment and shock by skipping this place! $11 for three of the tiniest shrimp and pork dumplings ever seen in my life with the thickest wrapper ever too! The two bao $10 was a ripoff as well. I know this is Vegas but seriously?!?? Order from a tablet so that was easy and quick so no customer service interaction really. Setting is basic food court noisy crowded on a Saturday night with occasional smoker right next to you which was really negative experience.

Located inside Resort World's Famous Foods section, Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings was a restaurant my family and I were looking forward to. We paid $20 for three sheng jian baos and three dumplings (pictured below). The food quality was pretty good and I liked how dense & full the filling of the dumpling was but it's definitely not worth $3.17 a piece.

I went around the new resorts world casino/hotel to check things out but heard about the food court, so, I walked around checking out the menus of the different vendors and being a fan of dim sum - this food stand caught my attention. Being a fan, I thought I'd try this place. The bao buns filled with pork sang to me. I ordered and waited for my order. The front person was helpful to help me navigate through the kiosk to place my order. After a short wait (I got there when they just opened), my order was ready. I had the pork filled bao buns with a dipping sauce of soy sauce and spicy chili oil. So good! Delicate, fluffy bao with a crispy bottom. The only regret was I didn't think to shake up the sauce to mix the salty with the hot oil. I enjoyed it just the same. I feel like when I have friends or family visiting, I will bring them here to enjoy some good food and the new resort world casino/hotel. Enjoy! :)

So mid it's not even funny. 23 bucks for 2 bao and 3 dumplings. Tasteless and frozen for sure. The hype really was just that. Go find a better dumpling spot this ain't it.

:( five or six bucks for a sheng jian bao (each) and these things are just not what they are supposed to be. small, steamed -- barely fried -- and no soup to speak of inside. plus, they may or may not have made us sick because we ate so many different things in vegas this trip, but it wasn't until after we ate here that we felt any sort of illness trust the poor reviews, there's a reason for them

Haven't tried their hand pull noodles, but their fresh dumplings (three for $11.00) are good, and so are their pan friend buns (three for $11.00) The dumplings were flavorful and the filling was not too tight. One thing missing from the dumpling was the small broth inside of it. The pan fried dumpling had good flavor and the bottom had a nice char to it. The skin wasn't tough or too chewy, just the right texture.

Very bland, not tasty at all. And to add insult to injury, you get 3 tiny pieces for $9. So it's gross and expensive.

They make people order on a touch screen that's glitchy, problem #1. They don't have a mic to announce order numbers #2. I was waiting in line to pick up my $33 order (which was magically read) and was handed a single box container and a medium sized cardboard soup container. When I opened the box, there were 3 small dumplings, two bao buns, and one chili sauce. The soup container was half filled with cucumber salad when opened. The order process suggested the bao buns were soup bao buns. I opened one and it was bone dry, so I dipped it in the chili sauce...it was awful. I got up and returned it all. I've been offended by bad food but this was out of control pricing, even for the Las Vegas strip. We returned that mess and went elsewhere. DON'T BOTHER TO EAT HERE. They were mostly cordial with the return...but not entirely.

I came to resort world to try the Asian food court. I love dumplings so I decided to try Ah Chun Shandong. I will say that the dumplings are very fresh, and it made very perfectly, and the place it on a leaf. The dumplings are delicious, but I will say it is on the pricey side 3 dumplings for $13.00. They make food court items easy to order. You order by the kiosk and then they text you when it's ready and you pick it up. Overall, it is worth a try if you like some good dumplings.

You can definitely get better dumplings in Toronto or other cities with authentic Chinese food. Also it was soggy and extremely expensive for what I got. The service was very nice and friendly. But most importantly the Shen Jin Bao was not very good quality. Won't be buying that again...

Get the Dan Dan Mee noodles! I know everyone tries the dumplings (the namesake, duh), but tbh the noodles were pretty good! The noodles themselves are thick, chewy and soak up the spicy peanut-y sauce really nicely. It also comes with carrots and bean sprouts which keeps it fresh. The price is pretty steep, but honestly so is everything in the Resorts World Famous Food Street Eats dining hall. We tried a bunch of different things in this food court, but this bowl of noodles was the best thing there.

Ah Chun Shandong Dumpling is one of the stalls within Famous Foods Street Eats, a food court at Resorts World inspired by the street food stalls in Southeast Asia. Resorts World is the new hotel that just opened on the Vegas Strip in June 2021 (the most recent opening before that was the Cosmopolitan in 2010). Many of the places are Michelin Plate and Bib Gourmand-recognized hawker stands from Asia. The choices were almost too overwhelming but it was very convenient to be able to order and pay from multiple stalls at the electronic kiosks. Each place texts you when your food is ready for pick up. It was nice to go with a big group so we could try different things. Also, parking in Resort World's garage is free and so is the WiFi (though you need to submit an email address). Here we ordered sheng chian bao, pillowy fried buns with pork inside, and the chicken guo tie dumplings which tasted like regular potstickers but had a nice presentation on a leaf. Overall, the food was good (albeit on the pricey side along with everything else in Vegas) and I would definitely recommend.

Wish I had read the reviews before trying their chicken dumplings. So tiny and even worse the chicken was pink raw inside. I still feel sick and hope I do not get food poisoning.

C'mon , who actually created this concept 3 soggy chicken wontons for over $10. Wheeeeen, right next to it you can get 3 amazing duck tacos, some of the best we've ever had for nearly the same price.

Had to try the Sheng Jian boas as this place is known for them..they will not disappoint. Located facing the casino in Street Eats inside Resorts World. You place your order at a kiosk first & then get a text when it's ready to be picked up. The kiosks get busy so might have to wait for a bit to place order...but worth the wait. Will definitely go back and try the guo tie.

I've had dumplings and made some at home. I'm a big fan but man this place guys don't bother. It's over priced super doughy.. just not good at all. An listen the ppl working there are great. The service in general is easy you order yourself don't talk to anyone and really just kinda do your own thing. My order was ready in 1 minute. I really don't recommend this place because the food is just not anything that deserves being recommended. If I were you guys I'd try something different I forgot to take a picture. Sauce was like the smallest amount I guess I should of asked for more so not really rating the score based on that.

Ate there last night and couldn't wait to write this review. Was excited to see that this was reasonably priced out of all the other dishes we got from other restaurants but soon realized that you get what you pay for! Very bland dumplings, got the Shen Jiang set and a side of cucumbers. Absolutely no taste with either one, expected more flavor. Wouldn't try this again!

This place should really shut down. The food quality is so bad that they might as well take your money and not give you any food, that would still be a better experience than having the cold rubbery stale dumplings. And to makes things worse the expensive pricing.

Get ready to take a second mortgage out on your house just to eat some Chinese dumplings here. They charge $6.05 for a 2 L bottle of soda and $10.50 for three dumplings. I've been waiting here for 25 minutes and I'm the only customer in line and they forgot to make part of our order. The people working here are just screwing around one of the employees is coughing and sneezing and the two people cooking the dumplings are screwing around acting stupid.

Just ordered cucumber salad and Sheng Jian Bao almost $20 for two items. The cucumber salad had no sauce on it. I asked for extra sauce and the gal at the counter said we put enough on. I told her there is barely any on the salad and she scoffed and gave me a side of sauce for the salad. The Bao barely had any filling to them. Don't waste your time here

If I could give no stars I would. We ordered from three places and unfortunately there was a "glitch" and we didn't receive a text saying our food was done. So we told them the situation. The lady at this stall was like "I texted you multiple times" well I told her I never received that text. So she was like "well it's cold now" referring to what we ordered. My husband asked if we could get a new one since it's been sitting out. Mind you we picked up food from two stalls already and they were both nice and re-did our food. No, this lady was extremely rude and said "no, it's your fault" I didn't want to put up a fight but that was not how you treat your customer and had I known there was a "glitch" I would have come earlier. The pork dumpling was not good. Would not recommend.

I have never been to the original location in HK however I was interested to taste what is considered Bib Gourmand quality when it came to dumplings. I ordered the Sheng Jian Baos and to be honest they were just ok. The chili sauce it came with was good and the flavor of the bao was decent but it was not anything amazing. Maybe because this place was hyped up or maybe I am realizing Michelin awards might be overrated (especially when we are so spoiled here in Las Vegas)....but I found this place to be average at best....
