Aharon’s Coffee is a hidden gem tucked into a lively part of Beverly Hills. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owner and one of the baristas and welcomed by the incredible aroma of fresh coffee. The wall features a uniquely curated selection of coffee beans, and I found the perfect one for me: a Bali–Indonesia blend that stood out in both flavor and character. I also tried their iced matcha, which was ceremonial grade and prepared in the traditional style, whisked with bamboo and served to perfection. Sipping it on a warm Sunday made the experience even better. The music playlist was spot on, the vibe was relaxed and elevated, and the outdoor seating beneath the awning was ideal for conversation, people watching or just enjoying the day. The hours are convenient, the staff is kind, and the owner is truly genuine. I’m excited to come back and try more environmentally sourced beans and drinks from their thoughtful menu. Highly recommend!

I am not sure how this place has this many stars. We went in to get a large mocha with oat milk - the cost - $17.60!!!! Absolutely not. Unless it's curing cancer, this is ridiculous. We did not pay it and left. Also, the atmosphere was dark and it looked unorganized and not put together. We crossed the street and went to Pascals - the large mocha with oat milk there which was delicious - $6.00. My husband and I are still in shock for this crazy price.

Google
Best Hazelnut coffee of my entire life. Also, I AM not Vegan, but they have the best delicious, mouth watering, freshest Vegan sandwiches and cookies! Chocolate chip cookie and “BALT” is a Vegan twist to a BLT with avocado and the owners version of Vegan Bacon 🤤 🫶

Google
Very interesting coffee spot, the beans and coffee they use is unique and definitely special. If your a coffee connoisseur then i recommend coming here and trying out their beans ! Very simple shop with vegan food snacks available. I like the nitro or cold brew sometimes with a splash of oat, but i like to taste the beans and get that kinda acquired taste. Def try and stop by if your in BH and try it out.

Google
Got a classic latte it was pretty good. The almond milk is an extra $2 which I think is a bit much. They had some tea cakes that also looked good but were pricey as well. The service was friendly and is a nice spot. Also outdoor seating provided and they have some more eating options like avocado toast etc.

Google
As someone who isn't a coffee connoisseur, I'd describe this coffee as a delightful experience. It lacks the bitterness often associated with coffee, offering a genuinely pleasant taste. While the café isn't spacious, its charming decor adds to the overall ambiance. However, I'd personally appreciate a touch of natural sweetness, whether from milk or the coffee itself. In my book, it's a cozy spot with room for improvement in the flavor department.

Google
Delicious coffee and when we said that it wasn’t hot enough, they were happy to steam it more for us. Would definitely recommend.

Google
Delicious chia seed breakfast cup and perfect oat milk latte - yum!! Cute little gem of a coffee shop in Beverly Hills. Skip the line at Blue Bottle and go here instead.

Yelp
One of the most flavorful roasts I've ever tried. Excellent service from Ryan who recommend what to order and answered any questions i had. Bright and clean environment, will definitely be coming back often.

Yelp
Pretty terrible coffee. I'm convinced the good reviews are just people who don't leave Beverly Hills or fully only drink this and Starbucks. I'm willing to be wrong but for $18 for two coffees I'm okay to never try them again. It's burnt coffee and it was just mediocre. Their pastries are just out in the open without a case or anything which I thought to be weird but to each their own.
google avatar

Taifha B.

Yelp
Arrived to learn they were closed at 10:30AM on Sunday. They should update their hours accordingly.

Al G.

Yelp
Ordered avacado toast, looked great. Until I was a few bites in and found a hair. Clearly no beard ot hair nets being used. Unsanitary will not be back.

Yelp
Late review. I'm new to the area and stopped in. Got charged $13 for a single flavored latte not including tip. When I questioned it, the owner said they make their own syrups. I've had coffee that tasted just like theirs elsewhere for less, and I found the flavor to be extremely mediocre. I'm all about supporting small business, but no.

Yelp
Haven't been back in some time, but I walk and drive by them almost daily. But this morning I needed a strong pick me up so I stopped by for an ice coffee and a cortado. But what rubbed me the wrong way was even with a two dollar tip, for two cups of coffee, I paid almost $24! What?! For two cups of Joe?! I'm good! Definitely won't be returning nor recommending them as often as I do. Yes their good, quality coffee, but on the expensive end.
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
Very very very expensive. I used to love this place but $8.75 for a small vanilla latte is way too steep. Plus it was ok and not worth it compared the money. Regretful I didn't go to Maru up the street instead.
google avatar

Travelling G.

Yelp
Went there the other day, and we got a couple of hot drinks, and the amount of care they put into each one was just amazing, and the final product definitely spoke to that. Although we often have the same drinks in other cafes and coffee shops, these were nuanced and balanced. Unfortunately we just got a big batch of beans from our regular place, but as soon as we run out, we very much want to try their whole beans as well.

Yelp
My experience here felt like I was being trolled. It was so ridiculous that I expected a hidden camera crew to pop out and laugh with/at me. I came into Aharon Coffee & Roasting around noon to grab a coffee and a snack. One enthusiastic barista asked if I had been there before, and then informed me that they serve "the best coffee in Beverly Hills". I liked his confidence, and ordered a large oat milk latte. The bakery case was very sad, containing just two options: a shriveled dark green blob of what appeared to be a savory spinach item, and miniature scones. I opted for the scone. "$16.50" mumbled the other barista, who seemed to be having the worst day of her life. "Oh I don't think that's my order! I just got one latte and a mini scone", I said, certain that my total was not $16.50. My total was indeed $16.50, pre-tip. The scone was disgusting; dry, mealy, and flavorless. Dog treat vibes. The latte was just a latte. The espresso was slightly burnt, and lacked the complexity that it should have at this price point. I've had better at Starbucks. I think it's cool that there is an independently owned/operated coffee shop on this area, but unfortunately it's not good.

Yelp
This place is a gem! I can't imagine getting my coffee anywhere else. Quality is a big deal these days, and everything here is homemade with trustworthy ingredients. You don't need much to satisfy your coffee cravings either! The staff is super friendly and patient, even when I can't decide and change my order a few times--haha! I also love chatting with the owners while waiting for my order. The care and passion they put into this place make me feel like I'm supporting an amazing business.
google avatar

Alice N.

Yelp
$6 is quite expensive for a latte, but it was worth it. The coffee has a nutty element and doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste. Favorite latte I've had in a while.
google avatar

Val B.

Yelp
I have been a long-time Aharon Coffee customer. But when we went for a month to the East Coast, I wanted to try something else and ordered a premiere high-recommended organic brand from another roastery. No matter what I tried, that coffee just did not taste the same as Aharon's. I though it was because all my equipment was in LA, so that was the problem. When I brought that coffee back to my house and used my own grinding and brewing, it tasted better but still nothing like Aharon's! When those guys deal with coffee they do it on such high level of mastery. The way they deal with it, roast it. There is nothing like Aharons!
google avatar

Ariana D.

Yelp
Homemade hazelnut syrup caught my attention, so I dropped by to get just that. I got the shaken cold brew with hazelnut syrup and a dash of oatmilk. It was good, felt like I should've asked for an extra espresso shot since it was a bit on the light side. The people were nice, and it looks like they're under renovation so I imagine the experience will be better once they're done. If ever stopped around in the area I'm sure I'll drop by again. Street parking only which is a little tough, so I recommend parking at the structure nearby and just walking on over.

Yelp
Love love love everything about this coffee place! A coffee shop with a roaster on site in Beverly Hills!!? What a treat! I always saw this place has a lot of traffic in and out of people with cups of coffee in hands. Today I finally stopped by to get a Cafe Amore, which is a drip coffee with homemade mocha and hazelnut flavors, as well as a vegan Chickpea "Tuna" Salad Sandwich. Flavors of both coffee and sandwich were too die for! Very full body of black coffee and just right amount of sweetness. The sandwich was the best sandwich I've ever had (not just for vegan, but all sandwiches). People are also so welcoming and friendly. I see that why a lot of people are here as I feel the sense of community over a great care for their coffee and food. As a coffee snob, I also was intrigued by stories on their website. Their authentic artisan small batch roasting methods says their beans remain uncompromised flavor and quality for up to 2 full months or until the bag is opened. Can't wait to buy them once my current bag of beans is done. I always bring bags of coffee from local LA roasters whenever I visit my friends in other states, so next time I will buy theirs to bring as their label cutely has the word "Beverly Hills" on it!

Yelp
BEST COFFEE IN LA!!! Aharon roasts every cup with good energy every morning! Love my daily ritual here

Nelly T.

Yelp
The issue with this place: the owners. They claim they want "joy" in every cup, but I don't see how that's possible with how horribly condescending and rude they are. Plus, the staff is changing every second, which cannot be a good sign of how they're treated. I should've known when I overheard a customer tell a new cashier that "they won't last" because "no one does" there. I remember thinking it was odd, but after going for awhile and seeing their retention rate, I get it. I have given this place too much of a chance and can't justify it any longer. People talk about the high prices, but the coffee/food is decent, so for a local, family-owned business, I could accept the high prices. What I cannot abide is bad actors and for that, I will never go again. I'm sad because I actually enjoyed (taste-wise) buying beans and coffee from them, as a coffee fan. Oh well, time to move on to another mom-and-pop shop where the people are actually joyful.

Yelp
Aharon is serious about his coffee, and it shows. My espresso macchiato was perfection. Note: I can't find any mention of food on their website, but they *do* have various baked goods and such. The avocado toast was delicious! Everything is fresh and wonderful and crafted with care. Service is super friendly. I was in the area on a Sunday morning, and found free street parking right around the corner. I wish I lived closer!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are a true believer of "supporting small + local business"... THIS is the kind of place you want to support. Aharon and Bat Sheva are two people that love what they do and it shows. From their demeanor when you walk in to the absolute *exceptional* quality of their coffee (and baked goods). They are passionate about doing it right. The most common negative review I've seen is regarding price which is disappointing. It shows that many people really have NO CLUE what good quality items cost and how much it costs to run a business (especially in Beverly Hills). Unfortunately, prices have been artificially distorted by massive chains (Sbux/McD's, etc) that people expect "cheap" to be everywhere. I, for one appreciate the work and skill that go into every item I've experienced at Aharon and will continue to not only support this business, but tell everyone I can about them!
google avatar

Kedar D.

Yelp
Aharon is a small coffee shop and roastery with two vegan baked goods and one savory item. They also make their own hazelnut-almond milk, which is pretty cool and not a combination you see often. I got a latte ($5 + $1.50 for the hazelnut-almond milk) which was pretty good. It didn't blow me away, but it was respectable. The vegan (and gluten-free) chocolate chip cookie ($5) sucked. Aside from a dry and rock-hard texture, it had a strange flavor. Don't buy this. The vegan banana-chocolate teacake ($4) tasted better, with nice moistness, but also felt under-baked and heavy on the banana. I might come back to try the avocado toast with za'atar, the one savory vegan item. All told, Aharon is far better than the idiotic, corporate Blue Bottle around the corner. If you're looking for a truly independent coffee shop in the Beverly Hills area, Aharon is worth a visit.

Yelp
Best coffee in LA hands down. Several coffee shops nearby on South Beverly but this is the hidden gem. A bit hard to find it's set back off Beverly on Charleville. The owners are wonderful - always cheerful and will help you with more knowledge about coffee than you can imagine. Everyone raves about the cold brew too. Temporarily closed on Saturday now due to the pandemic. Hope to get back to normal soon!
google avatar

Josh Y.

Yelp
Great coffee. Not cheap but worth it. Discovered a more economical way to do it this morning. Picked up coffee for a family event and got a Carafe - 96 oz for $26, came with 15 cups, cream, etc. Only $6 more than Starbucks and MUCH better coffee. Total steal for some of the best coffee in LA plus supporting a local establishment. Got a lot of comments about how great the coffee was too. Thanks Aharon.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
The coffee is delicious, but the prices are super hard. I wound up paying $21 for two mochas! Service was very friendly, they have a great menu and you can really taste the quality of their coffee and that it is freshly roasted. Drinks are made to order quickly and can be customized to your liking. Great option while in the area!
google avatar

Bruce N.

Yelp
I like this quiet oasis.Although you are feet from Beverly drive you seems far away in this place of repose out of the hussel of the crowd. They are kosher and food served is vegan..best coffee in town
google avatar

Daniella D.

Yelp
The coffee is mediocre and overpriced. I was actually excited to try it and was so disappointed especially with the pastry selection. There are like 3 options and so sad. I purchased the banana pastry and it was so inedible. At least bring some decent pastry options if you're a coffee shop. Never going back!
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
I order a medium iced coffee from this place every morning, and every morning there's more ice and less coffee in my cup. Coffee is $5.00 and I usually tip them $1.00 on top of that. This morning I asked for easy ice and noticed my coffee was more expensive. I asked the guy how come it was more expensive today and he said because I asked for easy ice. $1.00 charge for requesting easy ice, this is comical. And he didn't even think to let me know until I asked. These people are high on something and its not coffee. Save yourself from these swindlers. My colleagues and I used to come here daily, sometimes twice a day. Needless to say, never again. By the way, at this place "easy ice" = 1/3 coffee, 2/3 ice.
google avatar

Jorge G.

Yelp
I want to start by saying that I enjoyed the coffee. They make good quality stuff here. Their cold brew is very smooth and is a stand out for me. But I'm a latte guy and when I get a large, I didn't expect to pay over $8 for one drink. I completely understand that the cost of making a fresh homemade syrups is a greater cost over buying store bought syrups but $2 extra to flavor one single drink, it's a bit too much to ask. I always tip my baristas cause I appreciate the craft of coffee making but at that point, almost paid $10 for a single drink, and while it was delicious it wasn't that amazing. I will definitely come back but no more flavored lattes for me from here. I do want to try a bag if their beans though. Maybe can update my review later if those are great.

Kathryn R.

Yelp
The very best coffee in town ! You can taste the passion for producing this amazing coffee of the owners in each sip!
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
I went back to Aharon coffee try try something else. I had a 16 oz. mocha latte with regular almond milk. It was $7.75. I forgot to ask for extra hot. It was perfectly warm and drinkable, nice and chocolatey but not too sweet. The cup was full to the top like it should be. It just doesn't blow me away. For example, down the street Urth Cafe Spanish latte with condensed milk, or Havana latte at Peet's, seems to have a special panache to it that I like. The only suggestion I have for Aharon, is it redo their menu. I stood there for 10 minutes trying to figure it out. It's almost as if I was reading Hebrew. First you look on the right )or the center) to decide what flavor you want, then you go to the far left to see what size and price you want to pay ha ha!
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Been meaning to go here for a minute and finally stopped by. A real coffee lover's coffee spot. Had their drip "Movito" since I'm not big on acid. Very nice complexity of flavors coming through. Can't wait to try others and buy some beans after I get a burr grinder for Xmas .....
google avatar

Hayley G.

Yelp
Way overpriced for what you're getting. Paying $11 for a mediocre latte just because it had almond milk and vanilla syrup in it is ridiculous. It didn't even taste good. I didn't finish half of it. For that price I'd assume that it would be the best latte I've ever had. I unfortunately did not read the board fully because there was a long line behind me and so I tried to order quickly so others could go but after I realized I paid $22 for coffee and toast and the toast was only $9 I was like wait wtf how much was this coffee?! Will definitely never go back.
google avatar

Sheila K.

Yelp
Can we say obsessed? I absolutely love this place. Between their iced vanilla latte and their London fog, I can't ever decide. Sometimes I have coffee in the morning and tea later in the day. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Perfect tasting coffee and tea! Beats other spots in the area.
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
I usually come to Aharon's Coffee for a matcha latte made with their homemade almond milk and half the sweetener. It is absolutely amazing- when it comes to matcha you can easy taste the difference between a generic off brand vs. straight from Japan high quality, at Aharon's they only have the latter. With every sip of Aharon's Matcha Latte I have enough energy to last me throughout the day, every task on my To-Do list will be accomplished. Nothing and no one will stop me, but I digress. Today I came in with a sweet tooth. I've been eyeballing their Banana Chocolate Teacake for a while and decided today was the day I gave them a shot. They DID NOT disappoint. I truly loved every single bite. My tastebuds are happy. Made with quinoa flour, baked with actual bananas (you can taste it in every bite, and it's simply sweetened by the chocolate chips. I read in a previous review that if has a "under baked texture" and while they're not wrong. It's not that it's accidentally under baked more so that's how it's suppose to be. Take a brownie for example, some people prefer them hard as a hockey puck and others prefer them soft and ooey gooey. It's all on preference. They have a few outdoor tables Sanitizer at the register
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
The one big bummer for me is the price. I paid $8.75 for an iced vanilla latte. Honestly I purchased the size he recommended, but I'm not quite sure what size it was. Was definitely bigger than a small, so maybe if you come here and don't want to shell out the big bucks - get a small? Or a basic, non-special coffee? Mine tasted good sure, but personally it was not so extraordinary that I'd go out of my way to purchase again. Seems like the coffee is fancy, and they make the flavoring themselves. That's great! Customer service is wonderful. Two regulars even showed up after me, and I love seeing small businesses having loyal customers. Sadly, I just won't be one of them. I don't really need such fancy coffee, but I still think my overall experience was a good one. There is metered street parking right in front of the coffee shop. As a heads up, I went on a weekday morning, and it was pretty busy in the area (also due to the fact that Kreation was right next door).

Yehuda A.

Yelp
Best coffee in the city! I can't drink Starbucks anymore because how good Aharon's tastes. Highly recommend the drip coffees and cold brew!
google avatar

Yonah B.

Yelp
Ahron is the best coffee roaster in Los Angeles. His small batch roasts are consistently delicious. He's changed my whole perspective on coffee.
google avatar

Joi R.

Yelp
Super cool vibes here. Friendly baristas and an espresso that will make your eyes roll to the back of your head! They have an extensive list of drinks, including a Turkish pour over...if you've never had Turkish coffee, you're missing out. Wish they could make a Turkish latte. Anyway, they also have non-dairy mylk options including a creamy Oat milk. The shop is very small and quaint, cafe style. This is not a work/study spot, more of a grab and go, but definitely worth a visit especially if you're a die hard for good coffee/espresso. Note: Parking is metered street parking only. The neighborhood streets are for residents only and you'll get a big fat Beverly Hills ticket if you even think about "trying it".
google avatar

Kathryn L.

Yelp
Nirvana for Coffee Aficionados Small batch, organic, roasted coffee is the main brew in this little shop off Beverly. Owned and operated by Aharon and his wife, this sweet young couple is happy to share their extensive knowledge about java as they customize a cup for you. Go beyond the drip ($2.60) for an Americano ($3.25) or a Turkish ($5.50). Yummy add-ons, hand-crafted from scratch, will compel you to return. A bag of beans from Rwanda, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico, Ethiopia, Brazil or Uganda will set you back at least $17, but it's great to have on hand. Hot stuff!
google avatar

Kazu S.

Yelp
Just picked up a whole bean bag of decaf coffee from the Aharon coffee. Wow, this is one of the decaf coffee I had! When I went to the shop, I was greeted by the owner himself & he proudly showed me the coffee roasting machine. I would love to come back & try other varieties of coffee beans he offers. Thank you!
google avatar

Aubrey F.

Yelp
Easily the best coffee in Beverly Hills. Can't believe it took me four years to finally wander in. The cappuccino was 10/10, absolute perfection. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they roast their beans AND bake all their pastries in-house. Friendly barista, very knowledgeable on all the product. I'll be back ASAP.
google avatar

Gab G.

Yelp
Aharon was near my hotel and I stopped in one day to grab a cold brew and banana chocolate tea cake. Cold brew was great and the treat was very tasty. Bit pricey but not outrageous. Limited seating; there are a few tables outside.
google avatar

Jenn C.

Yelp
I stumbled across this place on a late evening walk and made a mental note to check them out. I'd been looking for a local roaster, and I couldn't say no to an Israeli-American owned spot. Aharon did not disappoint. The employee who was working the first time I came in was incredibly helpful, and suggested a roast that hooked me- the Honduras blend. I drink a lot of coffee, usually with loads of sugar and creamer, and this was one of the first times I've ever enjoyed the coffee flavor itself so much that I didn't need the extra stuff. This is now my go-to spot for coffee. Every few weeks I wake up on a Sunday morning and trek over there to grab a latte and a bag of coffee- I'm making my way through the different blends. They've yet to disappoint with the quality, and it certainly helps that every staff member is friendly and helpful. Great shop!
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
One of the best pour overs I've had. Aharon's son prepared it and gave me an education on the Costa Rica grown coffee while doing so. Very kind staff that takes pride in their coffee. If you're looking for high quality coffee with great service this is an awesome spot!
google avatar

Emma G.

Yelp
One of the best london fogs I've had in my life! Staff is super friendly and my drink was so amazing. The banana chocolate tea cake is also tasty. It's very expensive (my medium drink was $8.50) but it's Beverly Hills, not much I can do about that. Love that they make their own nut milk, and it seems to be run by a sweet family! I wish I could afford to come back every day, but this is 100% my new go-to when I'm craving a london fog.
google avatar

Gregg B.

Yelp
I have never been here before. The draw for me was that it isn't a chain and the great Yelp reviews The day i went it was HOT and i wanted a Cold Brewed Coffee on draft. I was NOT impressed. The coffee was sour acid and bitter tasting. I did not taste their regular Cold Brew of hot coffee- HOWEVER- I have had other Nitro cold brew coffee's that were delicious and not SOUR If you like SOUR coffee- come here. If you don't like SOUR coffee- RUN
google avatar

Gabriela H.

Yelp
I heard about this place from a friend who said it's their favorite coffee shop in LA. I finally visited this weekend and was not disappointed. The iced oat milk latte I ordered was lovely with a smooth, creamy texture. I'll be returning soon! Pro tip: the smaller latte size comes with one shot of espresso. Order the larger one if you'd like two

Yelp
At Aharon's Coffee & Roasting Co. you get a holistic experience through the benefits of the matcha as well as the personalized experience from the crew. The zen atmosphere makes a wonderful pairing to the calming benefits of each sip of their ceremonial grade matcha. Not only is ceremonial grade matcha high in antioxidants and other minerals, but it improves focus, mental acuity, and increases metabolism. Matcha has endless benefits to improve the quality of your life that Aharon's delivers. This down to earth coffee shop in Beverly Hills is worth the trip.

Yelp
Every time I try a new coffee place and get a mocha I am sure I will be fine... and then the caffeine hits. I think this shop has the strongest mocha I have ever drank (I got the mocha dreams latte, iced) and it was excellent! Perhaps next time I will opt for something a little lighter (I was eyeing the chai & London fog lattes) on the caffeine to avoid the tunnel vision this latte bestowed upon me. Five stars for the almond cake and coffee but the fact that my goodr sunglasses are called "$6 pour over" and the pour over coffee here was actually $6 overall stars reflect the price. Good for once in a while and not a daily stop (I paid for a friend and after tip was the price of a normal brunch). Though I am curious to try their house coffee at home and may perhaps update rating based on that.

Daniel N.

Yelp
Not just by far the best coffee in town. Perhaps the best coffee in the country and I am not kidding. Beyond good quality. Aharon and Batsheva put their heart, Soul and passion into the coffee and you can taste it! I don't drink any other coffee anymore. I just can't. So grateful to have Aharon coffee close by. My mornings and my day wouldn't be the same. If you want to treat yourself, get a bag of Ethiopia fermented coffee. You have never drank something like that before, guaranteed.

Yelp
My favorite place to get tasty coffee and matcha tea! I loooove oat milk and its house made! I love people who work there, always friendly and if they have a discount they always let me know)) The price represents quality! Thank you, guys!
