Beyond pleasantly surprised with my first visit here! Great selection of fresh ingredients and great hot dishes too. The Chicken Katsu is very crispy and the accompanied sauce is a perfect compliment. Spam musubi was on point too.

Fresh food with a good variety of options. Usually Build my own bowl with different proteins. Customer service is always quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean with plenty of parking.

I should have taken a picture before we dived into our bowls, but these were delicious. We were greeted by friendly, knowledgeable people ready to serve us right away. They have a large variety of items to put in your bowl which was fun. The boba milk teas were also very yummy. They were creamy and the tapioca boba had great flavor and the perfect texture. I gave one star less for atmosphere as our table was rocking like crazy that we had to level it with a napkin, but other than that we had a very nice time.

Where has this place been my whole life!!! The create your own bowls are amazing and creative! The passion fruit with strawberry pearls Boboa tea was delicious! This is going to become a weekly staple for sure. ❤️🍣🍤🌺

Very quality and fresh food with a Hawaiian Asian Pacific twist. Very clean restaurant and opened during Covid. Owner Songyu (Ken) is a nice man and adds an artistic flair to his dishes. I had the Eel bowl. Very delish!

Google
Really fantastic. The food is healthy and tasty, and the customer service was wonderful. Prices are also fair. My only minor complaint is the use of plastic carryout bowls instead of something more paper based/biodegradable. Overall, highly recommend. Update: Since this review, they have switched over to paper bowls. Love a business that listens to their customers!

I work next door to this awesome restaurant... and I hope you ready to be full😍😍😍 Because I was.... This is one of the ONLY place That makes really tasty EEl bowls in the area!!!! The pack it up and its also awesome portion sizes... The crab salad was really good ( I don't even like crab like that but I will admit... I will get this more often) Usually when I get this it's cost 20 bucks and its worth it! I super worth it...Everytime I either call in or order they are super sweet!! Please make sure to stop by and try them you won't regret it 😍😍😍🥰🥰

Google
We usually like the food but lately they are getting cheaper and cheaper with their portions. Why even bother including a salad if it’s this small?? This is ridiculous. Also service is always super slow. One girl works very hard and another person does next to nothing. Takes forever. My husband still likes it but I don’t know many people who go here. We have told many people to go but they have had nut so great experiences.

Yelp
Keto doesn't mean I can't be adventurous Korean Hwedupbap Poke Bowl with zucchini noodles. Tons of protein and flavor - great option when in the area. Tuna, salmon, seaweed salad, cucumber, carrot, avocado, green onions, red onion, masago, nori, sesame seed, and gochujang. I got mine with wasabi aoli.

Yelp
We love a delicious Poke bowl, and you definitely get that here. I usually build my own bowl with some variation of shrimp and crab. The ingredients are fresh and the sauces are good. My favorites are the spicy aïoli and the eel sauce. We dined in on this visit, and the restaurant is nice and clean.

Yelp
I am sad to say that I did not enjoy the poke bowl from this place. One thing that they did that completely ruined it for me was that they doused my bowl with so much sauce that everything became so wet and I couldn't taste any of their rice, fresh fish or other ingredients because the sauce was overwhelming the entire bowl. If I tipped my bowl, I could literally pour the sauce out of my bowl, it was way too much. To me poke should be all about the fresh fish and how it plays harmoniously with the other ingredients, but here the flavor was utterly imbalanced. And if the sauce had been good, it might've been acceptable. But to me, the poke sauce was way too sweet and it needed a little bit of saltiness. Sweetness and fish don't go well together and I thought it was bad thar my poke bowl tasted like a dessert. Just a thought: I think it might be worth considering putting the sauce less and in moderation, but still give the option to the customers to request for more sauce if they want to. It's better to do less than too much. Also, I think the portion was a little too small given the rice. I ordered the large bowl and in the SF Bay Area, my bowl would be filled up. But here they seem to leave a lot of empty spaces in my bowl. I understand fish isn't cheap, but at the very least they could be more generous with the rice and the veggies toppings. I expect more from a bowl of mostly rice and veggies that costs about $15. So, to me this wasn't a good deal.

Yelp
Food is good, but I'm concerned their space is too large to stay in business. They could probably support the number of customers with half the space. Also, I'm leery about ordering raw fish at a place that doesn't seem to get a lot of business. I ordered the teriyaki chicken. It was very good and a good price. I hope more people discover this place. I don't know of any other poke places around here.

Yelp
The girl from Cali that loves a good poke bowl knows her poke so finding ahi poke was such a great find! I found Ahi Poke and Grill on Uber Eats. I ordered the build your own poke bowl with 2 proteins. I selected the tuna and the salmon. In addition to the proteins, there are so many options to add. I added everything possible! Love that there were multiple bases to select from including brown rice, white rice, spring mix, udon noodles, and zucchini noodles. I went with the zucchini noodles since this was a new option for me. So good!

David B.

Yelp
The food quality at this restaurant was very delightful! The time it took for the chefs to prepare the food came out hot and delicious!

Yelp
My fiance absolutely loves this place. The best poke around. Great for lunch or dinner. The bubble tea is also fantastic!

Yelp
Ahi Poke and Grill is a great option for Poke in Livonia! It's always nice to see diversity in cuisine and it seems like the Poke scene is really starting to take off in Metro Detroit and I'm all about it! Ahi Poke and Grill does a great job with managing the pandemic and they make getting takeout Super Easy -- there are multiple ways to order online (including through Yelp), and picking up the takeout is also easy with a basically contactless pickup experience. Keto/ Low Carb folks rejoice! Poke Bowls are often a great way to get low carb options in a customizable way, but Ahi Poke and Grill goes one step above by adding a zucchini noodle option for the base! This alone puts them a step above most competitors in my mind since it allows you to diversify from the standard mixed greens options if you so choose. Great ingredients and a solid amount of options in main proteins/ add-ons make for a solid Poke bowl experience. My only minor complaint is the portion size: I'd like a little more for the price, but as it stands, I'd recommend going for the large/3-protein bowl.

Yelp
Ok I will admit it, I'm a sucker for rice. I love it. Add raw and fresh fish to it and mmmmm even better. Junk it up to the max with toppings? Sold to the lady in the stretchy pants! I love spicy tuna and salmon and crab salad? Sign me up. Get a large bowl with a scoop of each and you have a giant reason to come to work, lunch hour. This fish is fresh and comes with as many sauces and toppings you like. Apparently I like em all. I added cucumber, seaweed salad, cilantro, radish jalapeno, green onion and tamago. Damn I enjoy egg. Sauced up with poke sauce, ponzu, Wasabi aioli, ginger sauce, eel sauce and sesame sauce. Added all the other stuff too; ginger, Wasabi, masago, crispy onion, nori, tempura flakes, sesame seeds and furikake. Yes, I went wild. As wild as my nearly fifty year old ass can go. No I could not eat it in one sitting but I did eat it. It was deep breath, eyes closed savoring every damn bite type happiness. It was a food hug of love to this essential worker. It was worth every penny and every cranky patient I had to deal with that morning. Lunch perfection. Oh yeah, there will be many returns.

Yelp
Had build your own bowl and all ingredients tasted fresh. Was prepared quickly and the staff was very friendly

Yelp
Goodness gracious. This is by far the best poke in the Detroit area. And I've tried a lot of poke. I've have usually opted for making my own bowl, but there's spicy tuna and a ton of other vegetables and topping options. The ingredients are always very fresh. Unlike many other places, most of their ingredients and toppings do not have additional charges, except for the usuals like avocado and masago. My favorite sauces here are the spicy ponzu, sweet shoyu, and sriracha aioli. I also absolutely love their seaweed salad.

Yelp
Four of us got a family meal to split. It had a lot of food, enough for 8 bowls. It came with 3 meats: teriyaki chicken (pretty standard), beef (it had a nice grilled taste), and katsu chicken (a breaded chicken that I feel needed to be with a sweet sauce, but it was very good). We messed up and did not pick up any sauces, so I feel we didn't get the proper experience. The meal came with fried rice, vegetables on the side (typical Asian mix of veggies, but with some corn), and a mac dish that was more like a potato salad-style side. The rice was good and was about what I expected once you mix in the vegetables. The mac dish wasn't bad, but it was just an odd item to accompany the rice and meat. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be an appetizer or a side, but it didn't fit in with the meal (we all agreed). Everything was fresh and the meat did not have any gristle (a little fat on the beef, but only a few pieces). I had it all again as leftovers and tossed in some sesame oil and teriyaki sauce, which made a huge difference in flavor. Overall, the food was good and we got a large volume of it. Next time I would order an individual dish and get into the large variety of options. I'm leaving 3 stars since I wouldn't crave this dish over a similar Thai or Chinese equivalent, but I have a feeling that the place has a lot more potential if I would have ordered an individual meal or would have grabbed some sauces from there first.

Yelp
Staff is always very friendly and attentive here. This place is right next to my fav nail salon so I make my trip worth it by stopping by every few weeks. The bowls are so fresh and I've never had any issues here. Fish is always chilled and fresh, I just wish they cut up the pieces smaller like the mango, the tuna and shrimp does need to be deveined a little better. I had to pick them all out and Devein them myself because I can see the dark digestional tract in some of the shrimp, yucky. But everything else is great, and made well. They're generous with this portions and I love coming here.

Yelp
I've gotten delivery from here twice, really loved it. The fish in the poke was fresh, as were the other toppings and the rice. I made a good choice as far as sauce combos go, but I think it wasn't mixed as well as it could have been? Some parts were covered a bit heavy, others a bit light; I'll make sure to mix my bowl a bit myself first next time. I also tried the miso soup, dumplings, mac salad, and milk tea. All very good in my opinion. If you get the mac salad via delivery, it comes in 3 small containers, which for the price was fine; if you miss Hawaiian mac salad, this is some good stuff! My main complaint is there was no sauce with the dumplings??? I did look at the receipt on my bag and it said "no sauce, no silverware" but there was absolutely no button I hit in the app to say that? Thankfully, I had rice wine vinegar and soy sauce (and a bit of chili oil) at home, bug it's just never quite as good, you know? I will definitely continue to order from them.

Yelp
3.5 stars. I chose a build your own bowl with two proteins. The scoops are small. I was not impressed with the number of toppings. I chose corn, edamame, cucumbers, and carrots. My bowl was barely filled so I went back and asked for more edamame. When I went to pay, I asked why I was charged an additional .25$ and it was for the "additional" edamame! What if I asked for another (unique) item, would I have been charged .25$? Probably not. The amount of avocado I got was 3 (x $1.50). They have pop, iced tea, water, and sparkling water. The staff was nice.

Yelp
The poke was very good. Wish there was a little more sauce added to my poke bowl (it's my fault I could of asked for more), but overall I still recommend this place. The staff were friendly and there's lots of tables and seatings available. The atmosphere was nice, relaxin, and quiet.

Yelp
If you love sushi, you'll love Poke. I describe poke as deconstructed sushi. I've tried poke bowls all over the country and Ahi Poke is hands down one of the best pokes you will get. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. They have some excellent options to choose from. You can go with a signature bowl or you have the option to build your own. I typically like to build my own with a base level of three proteins (spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy Kani) and select my veggies and toppings with more spicy items. I recommend the spicy aioli sauce and the fried onion toppers that provide a nice crunch. Ahi poke is one of go to takeouts that I must get weekly. Their seafood and consistency is a very high quality. Keep up the good work!
google avatar

Misong B.

Yelp
Definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon. I thought the price was very reasonable for the portion given and it was delicious. The staff was friendly too. It was my first time there and the staff explained everything very thoroughly. There were a lot of options to choose from.

Yelp
Loved the different sauces! Pork dumplings were perfect and so was the Hawaiian fried rice! So quick and tasty! You can't go wrong. The veggies were fresh and the garlic butter was the bomb!

Yelp
This is my favorite spot to get lunch, hands down. I just checked my delivery app and I've ordered from here 7 times, and it is consistency amazing. Their fish tastes fresh and clean. The veggies are bright and refreshing and oh my goodness, you can't go wrong with any of their sauces, especially the spicy mayo. A caveat - I have never gone into the store, only delivery. But even their delivery experience has been great. I always get my order within 30 minutes (I know that has to do a lot with my location, but still, the consistency is unreal) and everything is packaged safely. I even got a little smily face on the paper bag today. It's the little things that make a simple lunch a little brighter. Long story short, try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I had my first AHI poke bowl today and it was better than I would have dreamed. Fresh, delicious, and simple. If you want to eat healthy and crave something different, this is the spot! My bowl had rice, avocado, mango, ahi tuna, seaweed, sesame seeds, and so much more. I ordered takeout and it was literally bagged and waiting for me five minutes later when I walked through the doors. Fast, friendly, service with a smile. Clean building, tons of parking, and waaay better than anything you could ever get at a FAST FOOD POISON CENTER I can't wait to go back and try more!
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
I was ordering takeout here for the first time so I didn't order the poke because I wanted to verify how "fresh" they keep things. I wish I had just gone ahead and ordered the tuna poke because it looked delicious...and they definitely seemed to be keeping freshness on the up and up. The chicken bowl I got was delicious as well but I'll be back for the tuna! Service was great also!
google avatar

Krystel T.

Yelp
I recently found this place through Doordash and I decided to try it out. I love how you can customize it to your liking and they had so many choices. I've ordered this twice so far and both have been so good! The regular size comes with your choice of two proteins & the large comes with three - definitely both shareable depending on how hungry you were. Both my orders included shrimp, tofu, edamame, mango, cabbage, tempura, cucumber, tamago (egg) and avocado. I opted for brown rice as the base which was very tasty and added eel sauce and spicy aioli (not that spicy but still delicious). I do wish that there was less rice or an option to select a half portion of rice, however, I do love the different options they have for the base such as rice, greens, and even zucchini noodles! Overall, it was a tasty experience and would definitely order from again.
google avatar

Philip B.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my lunch here today! Ahi is a great new poke spot with fresh fish, delicious rice, and excellent homemade sauces. They also have some grill items but today I stuck with poke. Today I tried the tuna and crab salad as my proteins with a white rice base. I got tons of toppings like edamame, mango, seaweed salad (¢50), and more. They also have tempura flakes, furikake, and other toppings to finish off your bowl. My favorite sauces were the eel sauce and house made spicy miso sauce. Tons of flavor and delish. Expect to pay about $12 after tax for a regular bowl and a drink (can). Go support this great, new poke spot. I'm looking forward to trying it again soon!!
google avatar

Yelp
Second time getting take out from them, AMAZING! The food is always so fresh and prepared properly. I like how you can specialize your bowl, the staff is super polite and very grateful for the business. We will definitely be ordering again and again, it might be addictive.

David N.

Yelp
Great selections of food and good service. The price is a good for the amount. Definitely a go to place when wanting poke.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food! Came back second time in a week! Would recommend this place and you can order online too for curbside pick up.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is amazing, I highly recommend this place. It's very healthy and clean, and the service was quick and friendly
google avatar

Kiley L.

Yelp
Great food and great service. My bowl was absolutely delicious and the girl helping me was so sweet, I am 7 months pregnant and she helped me pick out options that were not raw without hesitation. She really knew what she was talking about and helped make suggestions to help curb my craving. Will definitely be visiting here again, this will probably be my first meal after having my baby
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
I'm embarrassed to admit that I was hesitant to try this place. My wife and I went in on a Saturday afternoon, not knowing what to expect, and were completely blown away!! Too many adjectives to describe how delicious the food was and how friendly the staff member was. The three top words are FRESH, FRESH, AND DELICIOUS! On our first visit, we ordered a bowl with tuna. The contrast of the cold fresh tuna to the warm rice was fantastic. We had to go back the next day to try more. We ordered the Crab salad, House salad with ginger dressing, and Spicy Tuna and Spicy Shrimp bowls. Again, everything was perfect!! This place is going to be seeing us at least once a week, most likely more. Enjoy!!

Yvonne G.

Yelp
Nice to have this option nearby but found the protein portions very small compared to other locations where I've had poke before. The quality was good though a bit overpriced. Need to add a few more options like yellow radishes and calamari to their menu options.
google avatar

Shaylyn J.

Yelp
Meh. The salmon and tuna were tasteless. Wasnt amazing. They were very friendly staff wise though

Yelp
We moved from Chicago 2 years ago where we had a great poke place that we frequented. Once we moved here, there weren't many spots that were quite the same. Today we went to Ahi Poke and Grill and it was just as good as our fav spot in Chicago. At Ahi, we both tried the build your own bowls. They have many toppings and sauces to choose from and both my husband and I enjoyed our bowls. The man who helped us (who I think could have been the owner) was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Holler1980 ..

Yelp
First visit and won't be my last. Got carry out and I created my own bowl with spicy tuna and salmon and added a bunch of different toppings (most of which are no additional charge). It was really fresh and delicious. Regular size was a perfect portion for lunch or dinner. Place looked clean inside too.

Khang N.

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal greatly. Great price, great customer service, and overall a great place to eat for a poke bowl.
google avatar

Bill F.

Yelp
Can't get enough of this place! Food is delicious, good variety and a great change from "let's get a sub for lunch". Ken is super helpful and is clearly passionate about making sure you learn about poke!

Dakota P.

Yelp
Best shrimp soyu ever if you are willing to spend the extra money recommend getting a extra shrimp and definitely get extra macaroni salad it is wonderful
google avatar

Larry C.

Yelp
Wife had never had Poke. I've had it many times in California. Ahi was delicious. The food was fresh and delicious. Both got signature bowls - spicy salmon and the Korean bowl. Looks small when you get it but it was prefect ; light, tasty and good spice. We'll come back.
google avatar

Nick M.

Yelp
Ordered the Chicken Katsu, salad, and Miso Soup online. The ordering and pickup (no in-person dining allowed when this was written) was trouble-free. The food was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised with the portion size. I will be going back and plan on exploring the menu. My 6th and 1st graders loved the chicken and thanked me for introducing them to chicken katsu!
google avatar

Felice G.

Yelp
I went for the first time yesterday afternoon for lunch. My food was so delicious, I got it again for dinner! Then today I got it for lunch again. I think I'm addicted!! The food is fresh, extremely delicious, and the employees are friendly and happy to help and accommodate any request.

Adrianna K.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh I ordered online but will just go in person next time as it seems like an efficient set-up. We will be back!
google avatar

Tanya J.

Yelp
My Friends, order here. Clean, fresh, healthy. Lots of options. Ginger carrot salad was delicious. Food was ready fast!

Zach W.

Yelp
Triple Tuna bowls all day; and, with the cornucopia of add-ons and other menu items that are "on point," it's a can't miss/don't miss. Do it.
google avatar

Yelp
Poke Bar is a cool idea and it tastes delicious. Love it and will be coming back. friendly and enthusiastic staff and the worker was helpful for our first time
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing bowl with zoodles! Everything is always so fresh! Great flavors, options and fast.. I will be back!

R M.

Yelp
Not to be a snob, but being a transplant to the Midwest from the East Coast, and having had some questionable experiences, I typically approach raw fish joints with caution. No worries here guys - spotlessly clean, the proteins that are raw are nice and fresh. Authentic poke bowl flavors and ingredients. Lots of cooked options, including hot bowls for those not interested in raw. Prices are reasonable, portions generous. Super friendly staff. Extra kudos for opening during COVID19. Wishing them success, it's a lovely addition to diversity in the culinary sense in this corner of the woods - a healthier and delicious option.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Very unique, delicious and healthy. Owner was very attentive and helpful since it was our first time. Will be back!

Joshua M.

Yelp
My wife and I can't stop ordering from Ahi Poke and Grill. The food is delicious and the service is fast & friendly. Our only regret is we haven't explored the menu too much because the California bowl is so good.
