This place is not clean. No internet as promised, which means no TV. No one cleaned my room the 4 days I was there, just towels and toilet paper i had to ask security for. I liked the security staff. Sand filter for the dirty pool. I would never, ever consider coming here again. And on top of that they gave me a different room than what I paid for. Hotel hell. Not even close to worth the exorbitant price. Would not stay here if it was $5 and paid $110. Run for the hills, save your vacation.

I booked 4 night stay starting on 11/23/23, when I arrived the hotel was abandoned and looked like it had not been in use for a long time. They had no sign up and Priceline allowed me to book and pay for my stay despite the hotel being closed. Still haven’t been refunded and it’s now a week later. Lastly, the hotel lobby and outside area looks nothing like the pictures online. The pictures online are of a newly built hotel. This hotel looks condemned and nothing like the pictures. Never stay any where in DR without talking to people that have stayed at that place within the past 60 days. False Advertisement is rampant in this country.

I unfortunately forgot to take photos to justify my comments. My lodging experience was terrible. Pros 1. A club is offered on premises 2. Taxi's are readily available 3. 7-10 minute cab ride to the beach Cons 1. Facility/Rooms are deteriorated and lack functional/clean amenities 2. Room had no hot water to shower and upon arrival, no wash cloths and soap 3. WIFI is only available in the lobby and not throughout the resort/rooms 4. Rooms are overly priced compared to cheaper and cleanlier resort/hotel options. 5. I ordered bland pasta and chicken wings. 6. I would avoid this location at any price offered

I really, truly wanted to like the facilities at this hotel. The location came recommended to me by a friend, and the photographs on the website looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the photographs were not reflective of reality, and a litany of issues with the room arose throughout my stay. I stayed for five nights (09/23/2022 to 09/28/2022) in room 607, a "pool suite". The room was spacious. On check-in, the room had no towels. The television did not work initially, but this was rectified quickly. The bed itself was fairly comfortable, but one of the pillows was incredibly dirty and did not have a pillowcase, and the other pillow was lumpy, making neither one usable. By the second day, the bathroom drain stopped draining properly, resulting in a large quantity of standing water in the bathroom. The air conditioner and refrigerator worked well throughout the stay, though condensation from the air conditioning unit had slowly damaged the paint over time. The room did not have hot water on the third day, reportedly due to nearby construction; this issue was sorted out by the next morning. I did not encounter issues with power outages during my stay, luckily. WiFi connectivity was spotty, unfortunately. The remainder of the stay was largely without further facilities issues. It may be of note that there were exceedingly few other guests at the hotel at the time that I stayed. I do wish to take the opportunity to praise the staff working at the hotel. While my stay was fraught with facilities issues, the staff were nothing short of exemplary. Juan Luis was extremely helpful day upon day. When my return flight got cancelled due to a hurricane over Miami airport, John, a friend of the owners, helped me get cell phone and flight rebooking issues sorted out, and provided a great deal of support/assistance to me during a time of crisis. If there is a reason to stay here, it would be the staff. With some (fairly extensive) renovations, I expect this location has the potential to become one of the best in the area.

We were invited to a ladies boxing match, it was one of the highlights of the visit. VIP is definitely the way to go and the Manager had excellent cigars, sold me a mild cigar and it was great! Great time secure, friendly, neat and clean. Thanks for the experience, we will definitely be back.

This place is a trash can on every level. My room was dirty,sheets dirty, blood on the pillow case, shower head had no pressure... couldn't get clean towels. Talked to the owner twice about things nothing fixed until the night before i left. 4 days of hell

My second stay there a couple of weeks ago. The place has become a total dump. They do not accept credit cards any more. My wifi did not work at all during my 4 days of stay. Staff checked a couple of times and acknowledged but could not fix. Biggest concern is with cleaning staff who steals. Both my friend and I had our perfumes stolen. My friend also lost his apple ear buds from the room. I will not be coming back to this expensive dump of a place again.

Have a great time at my stay here. The bed was comfortable and the pool in the room was spectacular. Security was great and reception was super professional and accommodating. The villa-style architecture with a grand size bathroom, which was very clean. Will come again for my next adventure and so will you.
