Ai Cadelach

"Enjoy local cuisine in a rustic - style dining room or alongside the swimming pool in summer. The menu focuses on meat dishes (especially grilled meat), such as traditional Fiorentina steak and Alpago lamb. Wine lovers will appreciate the excellent wine cellar kept by Ezio, one of the restaurant owners." - Michelin Inspector

We had diner at the restaurant. The service is not very special. They are friendly but we had an incident showing it was not by heart. Our aperitif drunks were finished but nobody take the glass. Also not when they brought the first course or the bread. So we put the glasses on the table next to us and the waiter stated: Don’t put your glass there!!! I think he was nervous because he was catering a bigger group later. But I think it would be wise if he asked his colleagues to take away the glass. Anyway, we had good food but not happy with the service.

Outstanding / Strepitoso - deserves to be reviewed in both English and Italian / merita di essere recensito sia in inglese che in italiano (non mi bastava lo spazio!) English Version: We recently had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at this breathtaking venue, located near the vineyards of northeast Italy, where the hills meet the very beginning of the Alps. It provided a stunning backdrop for our special day, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect place. The venue itself offers around 30 rooms, each beautifully rustic yet impeccably maintained. What impressed us most was the thoughtful layout—some rooms were closer to the festivities, ideal for guests who wanted to enjoy the party to the fullest, while others were more secluded, providing a peaceful retreat for families with children or those seeking quiet. This level of consideration made a big difference for our guests. Our wedding was truly international, with friends and family arriving from all over Europe. The pool area was a standout feature, offering the perfect space for guests to relax, socialize, and get to know each other. Many arrived a day early to enjoy the scenery, lounge by the pool, and soak in the Italian sun, while the morning of the wedding and the day after were also spent unwinding here. It created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that extended the celebration and brought everyone together. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The venue’s restaurant crafted a menu of traditional Italian dishes with an inventive twist, making full use of seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs. There were also plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options, which our guests appreciated. From the elegant main courses to the food corners featuring local cheeses, meats, fish, and vegetarian options, everything was perfectly curated. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the variety and quality—it truly highlighted the best of Italian cuisine. The staff really set this venue apart. Throughout our entire stay, they were attentive, professional, and incredibly warm. A special mention must go to Natascia, the owner and heart of the venue. Not only does she run the property, but she also served as our wedding planner. From organizing the bouquets and floral arrangements to handling the cake, fireworks for our first dance, and every other little detail, she was a godsend. Alongside Natascia, Salvatore and Laura provided outstanding catering throughout the day, and Jonny impressed everyone with his delicious signature drinks. Planning a wedding abroad can be daunting, but Natascia and her team made the entire process stress-free and truly brought our vision to life. Their expertise and personal touch made all the difference. In short, this venue is a dream come true for anyone planning a wedding in Italy, especially for international couples looking for a seamless experience. The stunning location, exceptional food, and the incredible service made it the perfect setting for the most unforgettable day of our lives. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

I've been travelling in italy with my family for the past 12 days and our stay at Ai Cadelach was the best experience we had. Staff was very friendly, the rooms were really good and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended. I wish we had more time to enjoy their restaurant and other facilities.

Everything at the best possible level, the food, the wonderful surroundings, the location, the behavior of the staff, where I would single out a young boy, Manuel, who serves with great zeal and passion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful days at the Cadelach with several other couples from all around Europe. We stayed at room 111, that has a gas fireplace and a modern design. The room was very clean and with a nice view of the country side. Breakfast was abundant and with a good choice. The restaurant is superb with a great wine list. The hotel/restaurant is family owned and managed. The personnel is simply fantastic: they accommodated all our request (we had a lot of children with us).|The price was very good as well. Definitely I'm very happy of my experience.|One consideration, book a ground floor room if you do not like stairs.

The standard room are really outdated, but a very good size. The garden and location is FABOLOUS!! The breakfast really boring sadly, I know that italian breakfast is a lot different than in Sweden but we stayed in other places in Italy that was a lot lower standard but breakfast was better. There shold be more items that are not sweet and scrambled eggs for example would be nice. The restaurant on site is beautiful and serve delicious food at fair prizes, but there really should be a cheaper house wine.....6 euros for a glass of the cheapest wine is really a lot when one can buy a whole bottle of wine in the store in town for 2-3 euros. The menu should also be a lot more clear! We had fillet mignon one night and the menu said just that, nothing more, which made us order potatoes also. When the food came to the table there was 3 sauces, a lot of vegetables and even a whole truffle!! Also serving almost 800 grams of meat for 2 people is FAR too much! We could not eat it all and wasting food is never good. All in all I would recommend this hotel because it is beautiful and the setting is wonderful!

Really beautiful structure. Can’t recommend it for relaxing, they had two parties while we were there and they play loud music during the day. Some staff are nice, some not.

Hotel: We arrived without a reservation and Francesca at the front desk was very helpful and honored the price we showed her on Trip Advisor. I'd recommend paying online prior as the prices seem a little less. We opted for one of the rooms above the spa. It had vaulted ceilings, simple yet classy decor, very comfortable bed, a cute little balcony facing the mountains and a clean bathroom with shower essentials. The spa makes the building smell lovely and the grounds are beautiful. The pool looks amazing, but it was too cold to swim in. The breakfast was included and well worth the price of the room with fresh juice, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, coffee, etc. ||||Restaurant: We had dinner at their restaurant (you must make a reservation), the male waiter was impatient with our lack of Italian and handed us off immediately to the female waiter who was cordial. The ambience was warm with a wood stove and Italian countryside feel. Amazing homemade bread, mind blowing polenta with fondue cheese, but while the main dish of crusted sea bass was cooked beautifully, it was not a standout. Their unique jar of perfectly prepared tiramisu was a delicious ending.
