Ai Campi di Marcello

"Not far from the shipyards, simple but pleasant atmosphere in a family-run restaurant with good seafood options. Among the many specialties, we recommend the cold soup with raw and cooked fish. Curious note: the owner's passion for rum translates into an intriguing and unexpected selection of this liqueur." - Michelin Inspector

Ai Campi di Marcello in Monfalcone is awesome! Super chill place with big portions and really tasty seafood—like, everything feels fresh and homemade. It’s got that old-school, family vibe where you just sit back, eat well, and feel comfy. Staff is super nice too, they treat you like you’ve been going there for years. Perfect spot if you’re hungry and want real, no-fuss good food. Definitely a place to go back to!

I stayed week at Hotel ai Campi early this year. My room (a single) was small, but modern, perfectly clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were helpful and gracious with my stumbling Italian. The neighborhood is pleasant, safe and untouristy, convenient to downtown, the stadium and the shipyards. Parking is available. The hotel restaurant serves excellent Atlantic seafood, with outdoor seating at the back, for lovely warm northern-Italian summer evenings. All in all, good value for the cost. Also, the staircase has a stanner-lift, for those who need it.

Rather small restaurant with excellent choice of local seafood. Also the wine is worth a try. The suggested bottle from the waiter was finally ordered twice ;-)) One of the highlights definately was the door to the restroom :-)) it is completely covered with different kinds of bottle openers.

Small and cozy hotel, very clean located in industrial part of the city. I had an opportunity to try the hotel's cuisine and I confirm all good opinions about it. Fresh fish, good wine selection moderate prices this is an advantage of this place. Breakfast too repetitive but tasty, the hotel's parking lot it's very convenient but sometimes you'll find difficult to find anyone to open the gate

Amazing guys on the reception and in the restaurant and the lovely lady serving breakfast. They are very friendly and willing to help. The room was very clean and hostile. We forgot a jacket in the wardrobe and realized it after 4 hours of trip back to Poland. But after we called to the hotel and explained the situation, they send it to us via post - this helped us so much...||To sum up, we can strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Bring spare stomach. Place serves fish / frutti di mare and they are doing fantastic job, but I was full already after appetisers. Risotto was OK, spaghetti fantastic.

When you come as a tourist, you get some pieces of dry bread, that are always complimentary in Italy. But we had to pay 9 Euro extra about it! This is a really ugly way get people pay more. If you can find some other place to war in the village, you should deffinetly avoid this restaurant!

The food is OK, but little pricey. They put bread on the table without to order it, you would think that is complementary. Unfortunately it wasn't. Also charged a "service" fee without to let you know.
