"Situated under the picturesque arcades on Via Cesare Battisti, this restaurant is home to a young chef whose cuisine is inspired by traditional and well-known recipes which he reinterprets with his own personal touch to create highly interesting dishes. Simpler and more reasonably priced options are also available at lunchtime." - Michelin Inspector

I have been to this restaurant twice and can say that it's hands down one of my new favorites in the city, especially for their amazingly affordable lunch specials!! The quality of the dishes for both visits was so good and the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The menu changes often, usually seasonal and local ingredients. I look forward to when I can return!

A real find in Padua! Creative cooking beautifully presented-- excellent service, thoughtful wine list and lovely dining room made for a wonderful evening! We will be back for sure.

Delicious food, attentive service, decent (but not too extensive) wine list. The interior is stylish, but not over pretentious, making it an ideal place for a quiet dinner. I have been there on a couple of occasions, tried both fish and meat dishes and never left disappointed. Michelin star well deserved.

Don't let the construction in the outside discourage you to get the best meal ever. We had a sample of 5 different dishes. Everything was exceptional. Our favorite was a fish in Wellington style. Superb!

Let's start from the end: totally worth it! The place is very cute and service is really well looked after. We had 3 courses and everything was good and peculiar. The Locara, if you like the idea, is great. Also, fairly inexpensive: we had two starters, two main, one shared dessert, two glasses of prosecco, one glass of red and one of white and water and we barely spent 60€ each. Will definitely go back if I happen to be in Padova again

A gem. Currently (July 25) they do lunchtime deals of €30 (£27) per person for any 2 courses from their Starters, First & Second courses limited menu. Then a dessert. Plus, water and coffee for free. The Michelin accreditation says more about the quality of the food & service than I can do justice. I simply want to highlight what an absolute bargain this is for any fan of fine dining.

By far the best meal we had in Italy. We wanted to escape the hellscape of restaurants in Venice. We found ourselves in this haven in nearby Padua. The waiter was kind and spared me from speaking my bad Italian. I know no one goes to a place for its breadsticks, but, damn, those were good. My squid and polenta was great. Other dishes sang. My only quibble was the tiramisu. It was made with cookies that weren't soaked in coffee/booze. That's ok. It was interesting. Please, patronize this wonderful operation and its people. They do a great job and deserve our attention. What greater gift can we give than our time and attention?
