Our go to in Montreal. Love sitting on the outside deck with a pint or pitcher, and watching the world go by. The nightlife is also a must hit event.

I went there for the first time on my own while visiting the village, and was pleasantly surprised by the chill ambience. The bartenders were really sweet (and also really handsome) and went to each and every customer to make sure they were having a good time. I had a really good night thanks to them, I'll definitely come back on my next Montréal trip !

Went there Friday (16 May) and Saturday (17 May) and had a pleasant experience both times. Both nights had good music! Friday was busier with a good vibe amongst the community. The bartenders were very involved with the clientele! There was this sexy, muscular silver fox working, and a cute bear. Then Saturday, I hid away in the back, the bartender was this cute trilingual (English, French, Spanish) Latino boy with an eyebrow slit and a rainbow jockstrap— a hottie— but a conversationalist too! He got really philosophical with me. I was not expecting that but definitely pleased! And the drinks were good and reasonably priced. Card is accepted!

Service is quick and friendly. As a visitor I didn’t find it as fun as the one in Toronto doesn’t seem to have the same level of theme nights but still very clean and people friendly.

When I visited Montréal and found this place I was in love. Amazing atmosphere, good music, and played unique movies on a old school round screen. Now that I moved here thing have changed. Music is good but that's about it. All the TV screens plays the same AI video with random ads (cant afford the one Youtube premium subscription apparently). If you are looking to meet new people then forget it. Couples and Throuples fill the bar instead of tables.

Excellent gay bay for a drink.. good music...good ambiance and good service.. now you can pay with credit cards !!!

The bartenders and the manager is so sweet at this place. Hamlet is a star! Amazing service really great drinks and a really cool atmosphere with so many hot guys I can’t even count them all. Oh wait. I can count them. 😝

I've returned there a couples of times since my first review and I'm still amazed by them . A big big big shout out to the bartender who served me last time who I asked a cocktail that wasn't on the menun nor he actually knew what it was which is a Tequila sunrises I just shown him and he's been able to to manage that and to make me one I definitely recommend this place they're jusr simply fantastic and amazing

I was extremely curious to try out this bar after reading the review that spoke about watching zootopia along with porn which totally cracked me up. I was very much interested in what kind of media they would be playing when I arrived. We arrived around 11ish and the outside patio area was completely packed. You walked in and the bar was right there within feet of the door. It was not overcrowded but definitely very dark. I did happen to notice that they were playing Lord of the Rings on a projector. I definitely thought it was a little weird but no one else seemed to care. The bar seemed to be filled with regulars and I'm pretty sure I was the only women in the establishment. I did not have to wait long for a drink which was nice. The music was alright. We did a full walk around and noticed there was a bar in the back and a bar on the second floor. I do like that the second floor had a balcony that you could overlook everyone. One thing that I was not a fan of was the fact that they only have a 2 stall bathroom with urinals. The door for the bathroom was wide open which seemed really weird. The drinks were definitely overpriced . I would recommend getting shots or beer. If you are looking to get a buzz

Had a great time here for drinks with the boyfriend - everything you could want in a gay bar. Samuel was a great bartender and capped off our trip from NYC. Would absolutely drink again.

A staple of the village gai scene I do not know of many places where one can see Disney's "Zootopia" on one screen and orgies on another. Every one of my trips to Montreal has involved a trip to this place, sometimes 2 times a night. For the most part many of the bartenders and patrons are ok (at least to me). A couple of times, I have gotten glaring looks for a couple of patrons - I don't know if they were in admiration or disgust. But, like Fionna Apple says "Be kind to me, or treat me mean. I'll make the most of it; I am an extraordinary machine." The beers are pretty standard (about $5 CAD) with about 8 different beers on tap and with god knows how many bottles or cans. If you are not trying to be seen or don't want to see people, I recommend going to the back bar or the one upstairs because it is not a meat market or not as busy. From the other reviews, it see this place can be hit or miss, in terms of attitude. I say, check it out and if it sucks then go to another one of the many places on the street.

We had so much fun!! Frank was amazing to us and let us watch the game Mexico vs brasil FIFA 2018...yayyyy:))) it's one of the best bars in gay village! You have got to visit this bar!!!

The bartenders are rude, even aggressive, the price of the drinks depends on where they are ordered and the crowd is not inviting, all they do is sit and watch porn. Several times the bartender apparently forgot to give me the change for my beer and when I asked for it, he pretended he had already given it back to me or ignored my request. One of the bartenders was wearing gym shorts, he would stick his hand in his crotch, play with himself and then pour the drinks with out washing his hands. The crowd is rude and segregated, under 30 and over 30...some people were aggressive towards us because one of my friends was from France and the other American and we were speaking English. Tourists who come from places where there are no gay bars will find it amusing and fun...not me, I have been to much better gay bars in Montreal and elsewhere Never again

I love this place! Sexy bartenders! Thank you pages! Tasty drinks! Nothing keeps the straight girls out like big pictures of sweaty hot shirtless gay Tom of Finland men on a mural on the wall. Go upstairs! It's not as busy and the bartender is more generous!

This place is a total blast. Total cute dive bar with sexy pics on the walls. If you've been to The Eagle chain in other cities, it's a lot like that. Although I don't think it's owned by the same people at all. Met a super cute by bartender upstairs, he was a hot little muscle redhead! This strip is really fun and is making a great vacation. We are up from Texas and having a total blast!

My friend and I were in town on vacation. The bartender on the ground floor completely ignored us, tending to everyone else around us as we attempted to get his attention for 20 minutes before leaving. He seemed more interested in grandstanding and saying hello to regulars than tending to new customers, and we were made to feel very unwelcome on our first night in town. Why do gay people have to be so shitty to one another?

Hands down, one my favorite bars so far on this trip. I'm a big fan of the location, the crowd, and the bartenders are cute to boot!

RUDE STAFF! No manners! Try the bar in the back section but avoid the main bar unless you enjoy getting your drink/change thrown at you without a thank you or a smile. They think they're above customer service with their tattoos and trendy haircuts. On the plus side, there can be cute manly guys in the crowd but expect a lot of posing. The music is, in my opinion, pretty bad. Still stuck in the gay house 2000's beats... Too bad they didn't update that aspect when they renovated. All in all it's an ok place but you'll end up doing what everybody does : leaving for Stud bar where people are much friendlier.

Bright! Very bright! There are gambling machines surrounding the bar. The bartenders are fun to look at and most have a fun personality. It's definitely not what I was expecting from a place named The Eagle, but maybe I've been spoiled by the versions in the states.

It could be a better place if more inviting of newbies. Same old same old local folks in their friend cliques circulating amongst their friends which probably occurs week after week if not daily. Gods forbids they should break that circle. Think I'll go to a straight bar/club.

Prices are OK same as any other place, As some reviews have said, some of the bartenders are rude.It is all about the tip. It used to be a fun place to go years ago but in the last few years it went down hill. I would not suggest this place to any one until they get their act together.

I've only been here a few times since I lived closeby. One one occasion, I got my iPhone stolen by the busboy, and when I went yesterday we got the rudest service from the barman. BTW I know the staff member stole it since I recovered it from him, at which point he did not apoligize. Will not be returning!
