Been here twice! First time we got the cacio e pepe, margarita pizza and ribs along with drinks & everything was absolutely delicious & tasty. Second time I had their burger & it was just okay. I would recommend the other dishes over the burger. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I love the dim lighting and vibe of the restaurant.

Ainslie is a spacious restaurant with multiple dining areas throughout. This is a great event space, private party areas, indoor and outdoor seating. Totally a vibe. The food is good - most notably the side dishes like the broccolini and fries. Meatball appetizer was delicious. And the fish entrees - red snapper as well as the branzino were generous in portions. The sheer size of this restaurant is incredible. I believe I saw stairs to a basement as well. Most of the restaurant is very dimly lit. Spotted a game table and two full bars with seating, on my way to finding the restrooms which were a little too dark. Can hardly see in the stalls. Overall, excellent service and a great place for drinking and socializing.

Went here for the first time with some friends. The waiter was very nice and attentive! The interior was very beautiful! As for the food, I was told that the burger was delicious but the pizza was kind of bland and wasn’t worth the price in my opinion. The drinks were decent as well.

My Valentine’s Date at Ainslie was incredibly disappointing. I made a reservation for 7:30. I walked in and the hostess, Andrea, said that our table wasn’t ready and that we would have to wait 5-10 minutes but we could wait at the bar and she would let us know when our table was ready. It was 8pm and we still hadn’t been sat, I went over to her to check on our table and she completely ignored me, making me think she was checking on my reservation but just continued to help other people. Then another host came up and I told him about how long we were waiting, and we were immediately sat, which means our table was sitting there ready but we just weren’t notified. We sat at the table for 10 minutes before our waitress even came over, and we were then told that we could only order off the prix fixe menu. We were not notified of this before making the reservation or upon arrival. It was incredibly frustrating as we had already decided want we wanted off the regular menu. We ended up being moved to another table so we could order off the regular menu, which was appreciated. But it seems like the restaurant was unprepared for how busy it would be on Valentine’s Day and I was incredibly upset that my date that I had planned did not go smoothly. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. When people make reservations for Valentine’s Day, they are hoping to have a great experience with their date, which is not what I had last night. I’ve been to Ainslie before, but I probably wouldn’t go back because of how disappointing this experience was.

Had a private party here last night in the lovely Beer Garden room and it was excellent! The service/ staff were particularly impressive: constantly replenishing the food and removing used plates/ glasses, and never any wait at the bar. Got lots of compliments on the food. Wasn’t cheap but definitely felt we got what we paid for.

I stopped by Ainslie Bowery on a weekend night and it was a lively, memorable experience. This massive Italian-inspired restaurant and bar on Bowery has so much going on — from wood-fired pizzas and pasta to cocktails and beers in a sprawling space that feels both trendy and relaxed. The vibe inside is energetic and social; it’s the kind of place where people go to hang out, eat, drink, and stay awhile. There’s a big beer garden area that spills onto the sidewalk, a cozy wine bar, and even a games section — so it’s not your typical quiet dinner spot, but that’s part of the charm if you’re in the mood for a fun night out. The food leans into classic Italian comfort — wood-fired pizzas with fresh toppings, rich pastas, and shareable small plates that are great for digging into with friends. Portions feel generous and the cocktails are strong and creative. The crowd can get loud on a Friday or Saturday night, so it’s perfect if you’re out with a group or planning brunch with bottomless drinks. If you want a quieter conversation, try a Wednesday or Thursday evening. Overall, it’s a vibrant, welcoming place that feels like a destination for good food and a fun atmosphere in downtown Manhattan.

This restaurant offers a truly wonderful dining experience. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and flavorfu. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. Highly recommended!

Google
Ainslie you were just amazing, the sexy ambiance when you first walk in is giving bar lounge vibes with moderately loud music almost club vibe but if you walk to the back it’s to sit and dine. Our waitress was excellent, bubbly attentive and had great recommendations (wish I could remember her name) . We started with the shrimp scampi that honestly you could drink the sauce it was it 🙌🏽 (please dip the bread) I got the cob salad with arugula so good with salmon on it, and the sea bass with mashed potatoes all very delicious in taste and great portions. I will see you there 💛

Yelp
I loved this place!!! Came after the marathon. They held the table past our reservation. I expected it to be hectic and unenjoyable with so many people but everything was SMOOTH. Ordered food through a QR code (genius), bar is HUGE so it was easy to get a drink. You could also get buckets of beer with the table which was a package deal that was done. The food was phenomenal. The rosemary wings fell off the bone, has a nice crust to it, were huge, and came with a delicious greek yogurt/feta dip. The burger was nice and juicy. Perfectly cooked to medium. Fries were hot and crispy. No complaints AT ALL. I would 100% recommend this place if you have large groups!!!!

Yelp
Great ambiance, cocktails, and food! This is a great spot for a large group, very lively, plenty of space, and a great menu! Our favorite drinks: Friendly Relations, Spill the Tea Favorite entrees: Ravioli, Penne Alla Vodka

Yelp
I had a 20-person bottomless brunch on a Saturday and had a great time! I will admit the communication ahead of the event was lacking, as although I had made a reservation, communicated with the restaurant via OpenTable and text, and completed the menu form ahead of time, I was still told a couple days prior to the event that they did not have my reservation in the system. This was thankfully resolved through a phone call, but still stressful as I would prefer not to walk in the day of the event to no reservation being present. The day of the event, I was able to come in a bit early and set up at the table that was prepared for us. The 90-minute brunch would be started as soon as we sat down at the table regardless of whether everyone was present, so we waited a bit in the bar area. The service and speed with which everything came out was perfect. I had the choice of having the mimosas, peach bellinis, and/or spiked iced tea and decided to have all of them available as options. The pitchers were refilled and replaced very frequently as the staff was very attentive to us. The food came out very quickly with all the appetizers coming out around the same time and all the entrees arriving afterwards. The caesar salad, arancini, and fries were all delicious as well as the pizza, french toast, and penne vodka. The pizza was particularly good and better than many of us expected. At the end of the meal, they even provided complimentary nutella pizzas for the table and a brownie with a candle on it which was cute. Overall, I would definitely recommend Ainslie for a large-group bottomless brunch ($46 pp) but would suggest calling the restaurant to make sure they have the reservation in the system.

Yelp
I had my birthday brunch here three years in a row and Will continue to do so. This place is the gift that keeps on giving. The brunch special of about $40 for unlimited mimosa, Bellini, spiked ice tea and bloody Mary's WITH a meal is unbeatable. However be warned that if you have too many people you have to do family style! Still they provided unlimited of all the aforementioned AND mocktails AND coffee and tea. All agreed that the meatball appetizer, Caesar salad, penne ala vodka, strawberry French toast, and SPICY HONEY PIE were all to die for! What made it most special was how kind and accommodating the staff always treats me.

Yelp
The Ainslie Bowery is a very spacious bar and restaurant. It offers American cuisine and a full Alcohol menu. There are actually two bar areas on site. And not to mention, three full spacious dining areas plus a private curtained area for events. I even spotted a game table in one of the dining areas. The staff was very friendly and seated us wherever we wanted to sit - indoor and outdoor (semi covered) was available. We were a party of 3 and it was a nice Sunday evening so I opted for the in between indoor seating right next to the outdoor area so it was the best spot given all the doors were open. The food portions were pretty full plates and there was a deal on ordering sides, value pricing at 2 for $18! Think salads, pizza/flatbread for appetizers. Then a few seafood, steak, and pasta options for entrees. Very generous portions on those. We very much enjoyed the variety and fair pricing overall. For starters, we ordered the meatballs, a pear and walnut salad with gorgonzola (added avocado too). Then we picked two sides to share for the table; broccolini and fries. Everything was quite good. I recommend the meatballs, sauce was not too sweet and just a smidge of tart ness to it. Our entrees were definitely generous in portion. I ordered the branzino with the lemon and butter sauce. The sauce was very mild so I would've wanted a little more lemon. It came with cous cous which had little flavor as well. My buddy ordered the red snapper, on the specials menu for the day, and it was paired with mashed potatoes and spinach with garlic. Needed a little more seasoning for my taste but no complaints. And my hubby ordered the shrimp and Oyster pasta which was again light in seasoning. I guess we could've just asked for salt and pepper but didn't think of it. The nicest part of the evening was dessert. While we were not offered any dessert menus, not sure if they exist. Earlier I told the waitress it was my buddy's birthday so they surprised us and brought a candle lit mini chocolate lava cake with a speckled cream, all for us to share. The waitress even sang Happy Birthday. So sweet. The dessert was given to us, complimentary! We were thankful and tipped generosity for the service and dessert. The restaurant is very dimly lit, so if you're going for the vibes, it's definitely a place to be seen. And to drink!

Yelp
Unethical business practices will make me never return here. I came here with a group of friends on a Friday night and I will say this place is HUGE, so you shouldn't have trouble getting a table. However, the food and drinks were so mid and we were scammed with our espresso martinis. We ordered them with tequila and were not made aware that that was a $15 upcharge until we received the bill. That DEFINITELY needs to be something that the waitress made us aware of when we ordered them. I don't eat dairy so I ordered the vegan pizza and it was basically just a salad on dough. I picked about half the lettuce off, it was an insane amount. Overall, would not come here again. The scammy drink prices coupled with not great food isn't worth it.

Yelp
Been to this spot a couple of times now and it's always a hit! Great location, great good, great vibes, great playlist! Also can't forget the great service! I think my group and I were here for 5 hours and the service was top notch the whole time. The food was also so good and such a huge portion.

Yelp
Came in with a group of 9 on a Monday with a reservation at 6pm for a team dinner. This place is super spacious, seems great for big groups and parties. I made my reservation about a week beforehand on OpenTable. Heads up that online reservation makers need to fill out a pre-order sheet for groups 10 and over, you can find the online order sheet in the reservation description on OpenTable. I didn't get any email confirmation after I made the order, so I had to call in a few days before to confirm that they got my group reservation and well as my food pre-order. On the day of, only 9 people showed up so our group technically did not need the pre-order - we got an option to either stick with the pre-order menu or just order individually off the menu. I chose to just let the group order individually. Heads up that even though the service is reasonably fast, the food will take a very long time to come out. Our waiter was great, but some orders from my table ended up falling through because we wanted to add on orders a bit later during the middle of the meal and it just took too long to come out. On average, our apps came in about 15 minutes, and the entrees came out 45 minutes after the apps. We ordered entrees right after we were done eating the apps. I think this is why they have the pre-order form for big groups, so just be advised that if you have a large group of around 9 like we did, be sure to put in everything you want right at the beginning so they have enough time to get everything out to you in a reasonable amount of time. The food itself and service were all great. If I had to nitpick a few improvements, I'd say having a pre-order confirmation email would be great, and that a short heads up about how long the kitchen takes for a group on the larger side would also be helpful.

Yelp
Ainsilie is good for large groups looking for a last minute spot for a drink. The music was pretty overbearing, so it's hard to have a conversation here. Food and drinks were average.

Yelp
Came to Ainslie-Bowery for Mother's Day brunch. We were one of the first opening brunch slots, there was so much seating and the service was good! We chose indoor seating but the outside seating looked cute but can be loud because of traffic & bums walking by. The food came out quick and drinks were good. I had previously been to Ainslie for a work event and their bartenders were on point and drinks tasted strong! Would definitely come back here for Brunch again.

Yelp
Took my boyfriend here for a surprise birthday brunch for a party of 15. It was so easy to communicate my needs with the staff and they have a very clear and concise process for planning large parties. It was truly seamless and they made an otherwise stressful plan, very simple. The food was great and the service was stellar.

Yelp
This place is huge for a NYC restaurant, so shouldn't be too hard to get a reservation. I loved the plant decor they have set up in the front section of the restaurant. Server was really nice although the service was a little slow when I went, late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They do have a great boozy brunch deal for 90 minutes, do check that out! Food wise, I loved the mushroom pizza I got, and they had really nice cocktails as well. So thin and tasty, I also loved that they offer a burrata addition to all of their pizzas. I also got the arancini balls that people were raving about but it was a miss for me personally. Excited to come back and try more from the menu.

Yelp
Came here with some friends for lunch on a weekend. FYI you'll need your entire group to be seated for your reservation. Once we were seated though, I'll say service was the best part of the meal. Friendly and timely - we were there for a while and never felt rushed so very much appreciated that. Our group got different kinds of pastas, pizzas, and salads and everything was generally good. The unlimited mimosas were well enjoyed too. Cute place with decorations in line with this halloween season. Cute place all in all.

Yelp
A beautiful gem in Manhattan! The ambiance is beautiful- surrounded by lush greenery and romantic candle lit tables at night. There are games like cornhole, shuffleboard, air hockey etc near the bar. Very spacious. Food- 10/10. They have a wonderful happy hour including food and drinks- we love the arancini, pork ragu sliders, meatballs ($5) margarita and Boscaiola pizzas ($8 for 10"!), and the penne and Orecchiette pastas. The service is great and very quick. A perfect date night!

Yelp
This place is a great affordable option for bottomless brunch, but that's the only good thing I can say about it. Came here for bottomless brunch since I had a great experience at the Williamsburg location the last time I visited New York, but I left this one feeling quite disappointed... The food was okay... not the best, but I wasn't expecting much since I knew that this place was not known for the delicious brunch, but rather their bottomless experience. The service was the most disappointing. From the moment we were seated, our server was not the most welcoming. We ordered our food and were brought our first round of mimosas, but our server never checked on us again. After 20+ mins of waiting for a refill, we had to flag another server to refill our glasses, and this happened multiple times. There was an instance where I waved at our server, made eye contact, and saw her turn her head to ignore me. The last thing that really upset me was that we were cut off before the 90 minute time limit (and it wasn't because our group was drunk or rowdy). We all left the brunch feeling as if we barely had any mimosas and that our server was trying to get us to leave. I understand we were in a big group (8 ppl), which can be hard for serve, esp for bottomless brunch, but that is no excuse. It was not very busy, and we were very respectful.

Yelp
My friends and I were easily able to get a last minute table at Ainslie Bowery on a recent Friday evening, and once we arrived, I could see why. Though the place was packed, it was also sprawling with high ceilings and tons of space. The industrially-designed restaurant was also carefully constructed to ensure the place was not overwhelming loud. It was definitely a destination best suited for a large group and/or birthday experience. The service was fine, yet nothing memorable, and the food was pretty much the same. Our part of 4 started with 2 market sides as appetizers, before moving on to individual main dishes. The Sauteed Baby Spinach with garlic and olive oil was very standard, yet well-executed. The Wood-Fired Beets with goat cheese and toasted almonds were also good, but not great. For my entree, I opted for the Pan-Roasted Branzino, which was cooked to perfection and exceeded my expectations. It was served over a warm Spring mixture of Israeli Couscous, cannellini beans, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini, all in a white wine butter sauce. The broth skewed more towards butter than wine, but I still very much enjoyed it. It was also a generous portion at a reasonably-priced $27. I had paired my meal with the Spicy Like Me cocktail, which was a blend of Ilegal Joven Mezcal, Contratto Aperitif, white peach, lemon, and habanero. While I typically love spicy margaritas, especially those made with mezcal, I found that one too sweet and fruit juice-forward. Ainslie Bowery offered a buzzing, young atmosphere perfect for a festive group meal on a Friday night, and the food was fine. Overall, I would say it was more of a place for the scene than anything else.

Yelp
Nice Saturday & Sunday Brunch Spot. Decently priced and several food options on the pre-fixe bottomless brunch menu. The carafes of our selected bottomless drink option (spiked iced tea) were good, although they were filled with a ton of ice thus watering down the drink. Additionally, service was a tad slow despite the restaurant not being crowded. The food was okay as the french toast was a tad dry for my liking. There was a DJ yet the music selection was not the greatest. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very nice and I appreciated the game tables and numerous tv screens as it seems it would be a nice location to come watch sports with friends.

Yelp
Attended an event that was being hosted at this restaurant and was decently impressed. The entire space itself was pretty cute and very large with lots of different seating areas. The bartenders were so nice and gave lots of recommendations. There were a variety of pizzas served, my favorite was the honey pie! The avocado tostone was also amazing, definitely my favorite item of the night.

Yelp
"This is what dreams are made of" #HilaryDuff This place HAS IT ALL!!! Great atmosphere, great food and great drinks. Zachary is a legend behind the bar. He is fast, efficient, and even has a smile on his face while making drinks. Qualities that John Taffer would appreciate. Lilicay (Lilly-Kay) - is an amazing DJ. She is normally DJing on Fridays. For all the millennials out there, this is the spot for you! The Pork Ragu sliders ante NEXT LEVEL. I have never tried anything like it. I have never hat a "pork Ragu" slider before all I can say is, it a tight race with beef Ragu with the Pork Ragu out in front. The calamari fritti is PERFECT!! The breading doesn't come off, the red sauce is perfect (with a touch of spice). And did I forget to mention, it's all circles. This place is perfect for hosting events happy hour and yourself if you're looking for a good night out As a great man once said, #I'llBeBack

Yelp
Came here after work for happy hour with my wife and my work bestie. The restaurant is very pretty and chill vibes. However, the service was not good. Our waiter rarely checked on us and would be no where in sight. We got 2 pizzas, the hot honey and the truffle mushroom. The hot honey was good and the meatball parmigiana (which was given to us by accident) was good. We actually ordered the meatball parm sliders which my wife said tasted like dog food. We also were not a huge fan of the drinks. Happy I tried this spot out, but probably wouldn't return

Yelp
Perfectly acceptable brunch spot, but littered with young recent-grad 20 somethings who look 40 and have something to prove. It's a bit too bro-ey and basic for my liking, and the music is way louder than it needs to be. The food is nothing to write home about, though service is quick. We did the bottomless brunch with pre-set menu. The iced-tea was bad, while the mimosa and peach bellini was pretty good; too bad half of the glasses had schmutz on them (ie. lipstick stains). However, the place is huge and relatively easy to get a reservation.
google avatar

Autumn L.

Yelp
This is a great place if you have a bigger group for brunch! The inside is super spacious and there is a lot of seating. We did the bottomless brunch, which at $32 for drinks (spiked iced tea, mimosa, or peach bellini) AND an entree, and for 90 mins, is a fantastic deal. I got the margherita pizza, and my friends got a variety of dishes like burgers, french toast, and pasta. I don't particularly like getting day drunk, but with pretty good food and fun company, I'd definitely come back for this again.

Yelp
We stopped in for happy hour. The botanical spritz was so refreshing and not too sweet. We ordered arancini and meatballs. The meatballs were the star of the show! They were so delicious and tender. The sauce is great for dipping arancini in!

Yelp
Fantastic and cavernous Italian restaurant amazing for dinners, large get together or groups for drinks. Music and games by the bar. Lots of choices of spaces to determine the volume level. We had the lasagna, penne, steak and tagliatelle - fresh pasta, flavorful sauces, quality meats - great experience all around. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Even though it filled up, at no point did we feel like they were trying to turn the table. This is the space previously occupied by Vandal for those that remember. You can see some of the artwork still around.

Yelp
Restaurant is huge and prices are pretty good. Our server was really friendly and helpful. Food was fine, nothing to write home about. I didn't participate but I noticed they had a really good bottomless brunch deal so would probably try that if I visited again.

Yelp
I came here for a friend's birthday brunch! There was about 9 of us, and we had a nice area that was all to ourselves and wasn't noisy at all, as other reviews has mentioned. I really liked the decor of the place, a lot of natural light and made for a fun, nice, setting. We did family-style bottomless menu. We had one main server who was awesome. He made sure to come by and bring over new carafes of water or the alcoholic drinks. We all mainly enjoyed the spiked ice tea and the mimosas, although I don't think any of us were at the point where we were feeling very tipsy. Could be a mix of the intake of carbs at our meal or because the drinks weren't too strong. (To me that was perfect because I wasn't trying to get too lit, and I was able to enjoy the food). They also offered unlimited coffee or tea if we wanted as well. Overall the service was VERY accommodating - there was a gluten-free diner in our group and she got her own plate of gluten-free pasta. There was another in our group who wanted a bloody mary, so the server brought over one drink (so as not to waste a whole carafe of bloody mary). The food itself was delish!! It came in two courses - first the salad and apps, and after a while, the pizza, pasta, and eggs came out. Mesclun Salad - very good. much needed because as you will see we did not get many vegetables throughout the meal Meatballs Pomodoro - great meatballs! Arancini - these were good (not a huge fan of these carby fried balls in general) Penne Alla Vodka - This had a delicious vodka sauce. All of us scarfed this dish down. Although at the end of the day, it's just carbs. Margherita - this was ok, it's the type that doesn't have very firm crust. I personally felt that the cheese was not very well distributed, nor melted enough, because biting into the slice would pull in the entire chunk of cheese as well. Eggs in Purgatory - This was pretty good as well, but felt like just eggs covered in tomato sauce (there's also polenta in here). My few criticisms were there was a huge gap of time between the first and second course. It was to the point where by the time the second course came out, many of us were close to full. Not many of us touched the eggs in purgatory (Partially because of the texture of the dish was not that appealing, and also people preferring to use the stomach space for the pizza and pasta). It's understandable that all the dishes couldn't fit on the table, but wish they timed it a bit better so that second course could start a bit earlier. Additionally all the dishes were red-sauce based, and so I got a bit of flavor fatigue by the second course. I'd still very much recommend coming here for a prix fixe bottomless celebration with a large party. It was a lot of fun, so much food and drink, and great, friendly service! Thanks Ainslie!

Yelp
Nice, buzzy restaurant for groups. The space is huge with multiple areas. I was surprised how busy it was on a Saturday night (packed later on in the evening). Great for birthdays. Servers were nice. Host and management team not as much. Our friend organized a big dinner for us, confirmed multiple times, and the team sat us over an hour late because they couldn't manage to set up a table area and have proper coverage. It would be OK if this was a normal reservation, but this was a large group with minimum spend and deposit. Food itself was pretty good. Above average for an Italian bar. We did a family style dining and ordered the following: Meatballs - very good and tender Caesar salad - too earthy because they used baby kale, not enough dressing, and no pepper Bread - just chopped up pizza dough - was good and salty Burrata - not the best I've had. Pretty plain with cherry tomatoes on top Arancini - pretty good. Nice tomato sauce used as toppers. The breading could've used more more seasoning - just tasted like cornmeal Penne alla vodka - good but needed some depth in the sauce Margherita pizza - these all came out cold. I somewhat understand because we received like 10, but still. Hanger steak - pretty good over watercress. Served with fries, which were top notch and one of the better things on the table Wines were good I ordered a honey deuce cocktail and it was pretty strong. Not complaining about the strength, but it tasted overwhelmingly like vodka Would definitely go back for a group dinner (and ideally smaller group).

Yelp
Two weeks ago, I attended my friend's birthday dinner at this restaurant. It was a happening place from the crowd that was there when I went inside. My friend had pre-ordered the food items for the dinner party. For appetizers, they served arancini with marinara, mixed greens salad with fresh parmesan and apple slices, and meatballs in sauce. I don't eat red meat so I ate the salad and arancini. They were both good. For entrees, they served margherita pizza, pasta with meat sauce and roasted chicken. I enjoyed the pizza and chicken. We all enjoyed the food and the company of friends. The service was good. The woman's bathroom was clean which is always a plus.

Yelp
Met friends here for happy hour on Sunday, which was great because it goes late! Love that several spritzes are on the HH menu and the pizzas were bigger than expected. The space is also very large and is definitely a vibe. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
I came in over the weekend with friends for a birthday. They make you pick your food order before you come in according to the friend who booked the reservation. The service and atmosphere was very nice but I've got to say this place will nickel and dime you. Some food on the menu is extra $ pp. So my girlfriend asked if it was okay for her to order wings for an extra $5pp. Of course we all said yes, it's your birthday after all! When we got the food, there was just not enough. There were over 10 people at our table and I only had one wing because there wasn't enough to go around. Same thing with the meatballs and the burrata. The fact we paid extra for wings and they couldn't even give us enough for everyone to have 2-3? Thought that was a little cheap. Then our main courses came out where she ordered two pasta dishes and a pizza. The pizza was so nasty and a lot of people didn't like it. That being said of course there wasn't enough pasta for a second serving. My friend had to physically ask the waiter if we get desert and for our table he brought a tiramisu and a chocolate lava cake. I left after dinner and had to get more food because me and my friends were still hungry. To top it off, we were charged $9 onto the bill for a "spoon fee" that they didn't tell my friend up front about. I've been to much better family style dinners in the city that weren't cheap about the food and made sure there was enough to go around. Seems like this place likes to overcharge and underserve. Not worth the $.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, i'm not some Karen but the service at this place was way lower than my expectations. We were waiting 10 minutes after we sat down and then somebody finally comes to us and asks what we would like to order. 10 minutes later our salad comes, and then, 15 minutes later we're still wondering where our food is considering are waiter is on the other side of the place folding napkins with sombody else until sombody else has to intervene and be our second "waiter". He comes with out food, one being lasagna that was around 3n inches tall in a bowl surrounded by 2 inches of tomato sauce filling up the bowl like a pool, I had to pour the sauce out on another bowl while holding the lasagna back. Food wasn't even good. Would rather go to McDonald's.

Yelp
The vibe in this place is immaculate as I enjoyed both the inside and the outside space as they have great lightning and music at the right volume. I was warmly greeted as I entered and sat at the bar while the rest of the reservation came. I had the margarita pizza, and it felt fresh. I definitely tasted the wooden oven style, which makes each bite very delicious

Yelp
I've gone to this restaurant in Brooklyn. So, when my friend suggested going to the one in the city for her birthday dinner, I was glad. It was a great choice. Reservations were made for Sunday night, but that isn't necessary as it's huge, and there are plenty of seats. I mentioned that I went to the restaurant in a different location, so I gave some suggestions and other food entrees were chosen by the group. We got the burrata, which came with bread, we asked to take the shrimp scampi out and just noticed on the receipt that it was charged (wish we caught that on the bill before paying for it), wings, boscaiola pizza, arugula salad, oven roasted cauliflower, and truffle fries. All of the dishes were really tasty. For dessert, we got the banana bread pudding, tiramisu, and fragile e crema. I can't complain about the dessert. But I wish we had taken a better look at the receipt, which I will next time.

Yelp
All the food we tried had either a structure or a flavor problem. The arancini looked great, but had zero taste. I had to douse it in sauce to get any flavor. The Margherita pizza stayed together, but had little flavor. The Honey Pie pizza had great flavor, but no structure. It was wet and floppy and fell apart immediately. The service was really poor. Server was totally apathetic.

Yelp
Nice vibe to catch up with friends. They have a nice brunch deal that is $30 , which you can't beat in NY. You can get a personal pitcher and brunch item. Getting a non breakfast item is allowed as well. There's games and it's pretty spacious. We made reservations but didn't need them.

Yelp
This was a nice venue to hang out at - we were here with a large group for a friend's birthday on a Friday night and it was packed! It's crowded and pretty loud here, more of a lively, rowdier environment. There is a coat check available. The drinks were decent - Mr. Easy is a light and refreshing citrus/yuzu flavored drink and they also offer the Honey Deuce which we had at the US Open earlier this year (the one with the little green honeydew balls that resemble tennis balls). We also ordered a few pizzas which were good as well. Overall, a fun spot to hang out at!

Yelp
We made reservations for a weekend brunch. The establishment is spacious and loved then rustic decor. The bottomless brunch has to be selected by the whole party. There's a pitcher per person so not technically bottomless but enough. The spiked iced tea is more lemony than it is sweet and was liked by all. I ordered the eggs Benedict and asked for well done fries. The eggs were a poached failure: too vinegary, completely botched structure, and cooked well done. The fries were the opposite of crunchy and were a bland soggy pile. The side salad was a pile of unflavored lettuce. Friends enjoyed their dishes a bit more than me. Vibes were awesome and fun. Good for larger groups too.

Yelp
I celebrated getting my PhD here with a bunch of people and it's such a great venue for that kind of thing: a get together with many folks where you can spread out and have multiple groups chatting. Cocktails are great and I love the lighting inside, too. It's also perfectly fine for dinner for two, very flexible!

Yelp
Came here for my event with pre fixed menu and all you can drink package. Was a good time might have been too drunk to remember what went on but if I remember correctly the portions for the fires were good. I don't even like fries but these fries were good were thick like potatoes

Yelp
Beautiful, bright and large space! It was busy on a Wednesday night - people at tables and bars and what lookes like a party in a separate room in the back past the bars. Not a far walk from multiple subway lines. One group in our party drove and was able to park on the street. Came here for dinner, drinks and trivia. There was a large side room set aside for the trivia. It was after happy hour but there were some food and drink specials for the trivia event. We tried the 10" margherita pizza, aroncini, truffle fries, beets, and coal oven wings. Everything was good but the wings were even better than expected. A few others at my table had mini burgers and the meatballs. Both looked good but I didn't get to try those. (Goals for another time!) I definitely want to come back to try more food and drinks.

Yelp
This place was fine. The environment is good, but the service is below mediocre. The food was quick, but its definitely heat lamp settled. Even with a reservation, we were provided a shakey table. Wouldn't come a second time, but ok for a first time.

Yelp
Apparently, this new location just opened in October 22, and it is absolutely insanely huge. We only had a couple of drinks, but we had a really nice time - lots of folks seem to be enjoying their brunch. Great for big groups and don't miss the shuffleboard!

Yelp
Gym hosted our holiday party in the Underground club beneath the Ainslie restaurant. Friends who ate said the calamari was really good! We had a seated section and the wait staff was very friendly, attentive, and kept our section clean. The club is very spacious and nice size dance floor. Th crowd was diverse so the DJ played an eclectic array of music...for me, most of the music choices didn't keep the dance floor full but I may not be the target market LOL. Definitely would like to come back and eat at the restaurant.

Yelp
I've been to their Brooklyn location before and I liked it a lot. When I was planning my 30th birthday dinner, we looked at a few places including Ainslie Bowery. A found their party criteria: if you have a max of 25 people, you can book tables for a max of 25 people. If you have more than 25 people, you have to book the private room. More than 25 people were invited, but not everyone was able to make it so there was exactly 20 people (myself and A included). We preordered the food on the menu which included the appetizer: salad and arancini, entrees including pasta, pizza, and chicken, and dessert we brought from an outside place and they charged us $25 for bringing an outside dessert. The reason is because they put the candles and slice it up for you. I should've asked people what they could eat because there was a guest who was allergic to pork and couldn't eat the pasta, and there was another guest who didn't eat meat from land animals (he eats seafood). So he actually left briefly to go eat food at a different place because the only thing he could eat was the pizza. So I felt really bad about that but other than that, everyone else enjoyed the food. I think the waiter was a little inpatient because everyone came at different times and he asked us when everyone was getting here. Eventually, everyone got there but it's not like we could control what time people would show up. They didn't push the tables together. There was basically one long table which sat a majority of people, and then there was a shorter table that sat the rest of us. So, as the "host", I had to walk around a lot in order to talk to everyone. And since this was a mix of my friends from work and friends from outside work, I didn't want people to feel awkward around new people. But luckily, everyone got along and everyone talked to one-another, maybe except for the table with my office coworkers. They were feeling shy that night. The private room was booked by maybe a frat party or a bachelor party because all night, we kept hearing, "CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!" followed by, "WOOOH!!!" And when the cake was brought out and everyone sang happy birthday, that all-guy party cheered for that - which was nice ahah, but they were also drunk and there were a lot of tequila bottles going back there all night. Bottom line: I couldn't have picked a better place to host a dinner and I couldn't have asked for better company to celebrate my 30th birthday with. If you have a chance, book this place for your events. Just make sure you ask your guest what they can and cannot eat.
