Air Itam Sister Curry Mee

Superb local market feel while sitting here to enjoy the food. It's located on the road side in a small lane. There's a church with some spaces in front to park cars, but I'm not sure if they open when it's school holidays. The lane is so small that only one car can move each time. As for the curry mee, I love it much as I'm having it with the economic fried bee hoon, which most locals will order according to the seller. And most importantly the curry soup is without much santan(coconut milk), won't cause tummy windy after enjoying it. There's a blood donation this coming Saturday (16/3/24) 9am-3pm at the church. Donate then enjoy good food there ❤️ RM6.00 per serving for the curry beehoon.

Went there on our holiday trip. It was great & pleasant experience for us both from the food & the people around there. I really love their CURRY MEE. I tried different CURRY MEE but their CURRY MEE was the BEST. Seller & people around there are the most friendly, helpful, honest & sincere people we met during our trip. Why we said so? Because we dropped a wallet around there!! YES!! We once lost hope but they contacted us & kept our wallet safe. Air Itam sisters curry mee, so far after both the sisters handed over to the new seller, surprisingly the curry mee still taste good as before. I wonder how they managed the quality control in sustaining the taste. 10/10 but for those who like it more “lemak” have to ask to add on. The only set back is the coffee stalls. Need to upkeep the cleanliness.

Really delicious soupy curry noodles with pork blood curds and cuttlefish slices! They close on Tuesday.

2 Sisters Curry Mee Located in the midst of a morning pasar malam market. 2 Sisters Curry mee stall is a simple setup with no frills. The dish itself is also a simple one with pork blood, few pcs of Cuttlefish and taupok. We ordered the mix beehoon/mee. Heard a lot about it but I was rather disappointed. The chilli offered had a raw taste and super spicy, which we didn't know. In any case, the Curry mee didn't quite measure up. The taste didn't quite come out for some reason. Maybe it's just my own taste expectations. But many stalls of the same thg we have tried was about the same or better. That said, they still have a steady stream of locals coming up to order non-stop. Their flavour may be adapted to the locals. If you are around the Ayer Itam area,  no harm coming to give it a shot.  The buzz is this vicinity itself is quite a sight.  Do take note that on a weekend morning,  parking can be rather stressful, that is if you are driving

Their curry mee was great. The soup broth was flavourful and spicy. Personally I prefer it to be more coconut but that is just my preference. The toppings are nothing to brag about and decent. You do not sit at where they sell the noodle, you are to sit opposite the shop itself. Price was reasonable for what it is. You should try this famous store.

Disappointed with the food quality. The broth doesn’t have any coconut taste. When you look at the noodle served, it does not appeal to my at all despite the fact that I am a curry mee lover. I do not know how this stall earned its Michelin Guide at all. Perhaps, Michelin team needs to do more research before giving out the Michelin award to any stall. There are many other stalls, that have better tasting curry mee than this. If you are just curious about curry mee, and wanted to try it out, this is not the place. It would create a bad impression on curry mee on overall. Please try out others like Chulia Street or Jalan Halia. Maybe longer Q but worth the wait for sure!

First time trying Penang White Curry Mee & I love what the Michelin star stall has to offer. Although the ingredients were very simple (I am guessing duck blood, taupok & squid), the curry broth was intense and very flavourful. Definitely worth a try!
