Aire de Bardenas (Tudela, Navarra) 2 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It’s still something of a mystery, the fact that Spain, of all places, has become the site of so much cutting-edge architecture. We don’t have the space to investigate the reasons (and don’t even get us started on the food), so we’ll have to be content merely to report on another worthy development: the Aire de Bardenas, set at the edge of a desert in the northern province of Navarre." - Tablet Hotels

Incredible! We came with our little dog and had such an amazing experience. We stayed in a room with garden and large outdoor bathtub - the room is so comfortable and the design is very special. While the architecture and interior design alone is really worth seeing, the best part about this hotel is the service. So many really thoughtful details throughout, all the staff are exceptionally friendly - especially the man at reception who was so helpful and welcoming. I think it may be the best service I've experienced at a hotel. The surroundings are stunning and our dog had the best time - there are no restrictions to where you can take your pet and they provide extras for your dog (bed, food bowls, snacks- they even have dinner options available for your dog!). We loved the outdoor bath, especially as the weather was cold and it was snowing. The restaurant has a great menu, so while the hotel is a little out of the way from other things, you can stay and have everything you need and just enjoy how remote it is. We'll definitely be back!

From the food, to the view of the stars above, to the incredible customer service, this place is MAGICAL. The property is in a beautiful and remote location, and after four days straight of rain our MINI got stuck in the mud. Amazingly, the hotel sent our new hero Sandro to pull us out, which he did, guiding us the rest of the way to the destination. And what a destination! The hotel is beautiful, clean, inviting, and the staff is incredible and helpful in every way. The food was amazing, and the view from our bubble was breathtaking—my wife saw 10 shooting stars the night we were there. And we plan to go back in the summer.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The room was spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The amenities were great, the bubble room was super comfortable, and the view was stunning especially during the night. Would stay here again—highly recommended!

We wanted to start our visit to Bardenas Reales with a one night stay in this hotel. The rooms are pricy so I booked 2 of the cheapest rooms. Rooms were well equipped, minimalism design like the whole hotel, but it fits the environment and has his charm. Bed was very comfy, everything was super clean. Great hair and body products (Malin and Goetz). Nice rain shower, but make shore to close the shower curtain right, I didn't so everything was soaked. Except from the check-in process which took way to long, everything went fine. To bad we were unlucky with the weather, we had a short swim, but the water was chilly. The restaurant is also minimalistic, but the food is delicious. There is a nice terrace to sit outside when the weather is o.k. We really liked Hotel Air de Bardenas.

I found this hotel by chance on google maps while planning a road trip. Initially I wondered about the rustic location, but I couldn’t have chosen better. The countryside is spectacular, and the hotel - while maybe quirky to some - has all mod cons and absolutely fits its surroundings while immersing you in the countryside. If you like stargazing, this is the place. There’s even a “watch the sunset” spot signposted. My room was excellent, with its own little private patio. Restaurant was good, accompanied by glasses of local wine. A nice touch is the wood fire in the patio and complimentary sausage bbq in the evenings. But what made it for me was the staff - outstanding. In the morning I had to leave early before breakfast started, but not to worry, they whipped me up an amazing array of huevos revueltos (scrambled eggs), fresh juice, cold meats, fruit plate, bread, jams, coffee… a breakfast fit for a king. I’ll be back.

We absolutely loved every aspect of this super cool design hotel on the edge of the Bardenas Reales. We stayed in one of the pods and had a gorgeous view of the stars from our bed! Food was lovely, service excellent, and so many thoughtful little details and touches. Loved it!!

Do not book the cube room with the bathtub. It is the most expensive room in the hotel and the bathtub is all rusted. You pay a premium to sit outside in the bath but it is completely disgusting! No one has been in that tub in years! It’s an eco hotel. Even the largest room is tiny and there is no door to the bathroom just curtain. Breakfast was good but it’s preset, same thing is brought out for everyone. They are located right in Bardenas, but don’t book any excursions with them, you have to drive 15 min out of the park for the 4x4 or buggy ride, which then drive you back to where you started at the hotel. Do your own research and book them yourself and specify an English guide. The hotel did not tell them we needed an English guide and we had to use Google translate. In general, if you have been to Arizona national parks, you can skip Bardenas

Amazing place in a wonderful scenario. The people were very kind and cool, the design is very well curated, even the perfume in the air and beauty products were extremely good. The food is delicious!
