"India-meets-Saint Tropez. This mustard townhouse confounds guests with its shuttered exterior concealing a dark-wooded Raj-era scene inside. The boutique hotel is built on a love story—where a 19th-century British general fell in love with an Indian princess, who later took her grief and rich color palette to Saint Tropez. Old-world fans and four posters dressed in white linen curtains set an exotic tone, and while splashes of burnt orange, lime, and crimsons animate the rooms, the bass note is earthy and restrained. The theme spills out into a walled garden, where the pool (which could have been a Raj pond in a past life) is lined with white parasols and thick, cushioned loungers. Its central location in the old town—a seven-minute walk to the beach—is staggering given its overall feeling of serenity and calm." - Rosalyn Wikeley

This establishment (hard to even call it a hotel) is next level. They probably pay more attention to detail than any other hotel I have ever visited. Service is personalized, and the decor is impeccably executed British Colonial style. Do not let the faded exterior pictures deceive you, as the hotel is top-notch. It only has twelve rooms so it is very private and while the spaces are smaller, the quality is unparalleled. It is like staying in a real palace (hence the name). It deserves more than 5 stars. Well done.

we just got home from a trip through southern France . one of the highlights was our 3 nite stay at your beautiful hotel. its location is the best , walk to an open Saturday market or stroll down the quiet streets to shop . easy walk to the harbor to see all the sailboats. Our room was very luxurious and included top end shampoos and soaps. Breakfast by the pool was beautiful. We loved this hotel and will be back for sure !

We had the fortune of staying at this hotel after staying at another Airelles propety the night before. |This was our 3rd time visiting ST Tropez but our 1st at this property. And, I can honestly say our stay was amazing. If you want to stay in town, which we always do, this location is unbelievable. Except for a dinner at the sister property, every restaurant is within walking distance. The beach was a short drive away. The hotel itself is truly a hidden gem. From the outside it isn't obvious that this is a hotel but once you walk in (and you can't walk in during the day unless you are a hotel guest) you have a straight view to the gorgeous pool area. The room was amazing. The housekeeping services were amazing. We typically didn't go out for dinner until after 9pm yet each night we would return to a clean room, with the bed turned down and a surprise gift. I can't recommend this hotel enough. And, will definitely stay here again.

How do words express our overwhelming joy we experienced while at Pan Dei Palais? Who cries when one leaves a hotel? Me!!! The level of service from the time the arranged driver picked us up in Nice, to the arrival and reception to the gifts left in our rooms, (we had 2 rooms for our family of 6) with an extra special something. Personalized stamps on paper pads, and a welcome note and our name on the bath mirror. Recognizing our family of 6 and accommodating all of us. Every single entry and exit, we were spoken to with such care and kindness. The breakfasts were so exotic and tasteful. Our time at the beach club and the Chateau, sister property, were glorious. Once again the service everywhere was extraordinary. But the most moving moment was our departure. They put a beautiful yellow name tag on each of our bags, CORRECTLY, each initial correct on the correct luggage. Gift bags of macaroons and water left inside our transport van. Then all the staff stood on the sidewalk and waved goodbye to us. I have never felt so special and loved by strangers. There are so many places in the world to see but we have decided Pan Dei Palais, Saint Tropez is absolutely on our do again list. So so much love!

This was easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The service is incredible, and really deserves more than 5 stars. It’s centrally located, but somehow still quiet and peaceful. So much is included that even if it’s a bit more than other hotels, you receive far more than you would anywhere else. The breakfast is incredible, the attention to detail is unmatched. We plan to come back many times in the future.

Have you ever stayed in a close friend’s mansion, in one of the most sought after locations in the world? Because that is what it’s like to stay here. The rooms are lovely, the hotel itself is something out of a movie, and the pool area is exquisite. The entire palace just exudes St.Tropez at its best. But what stands out the most is the exceptional experience provided by the staff. They are welcoming, gentle, and so very hospitable. There are numerous little treats and surprises that I will not ruin for you, but all I can say is I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel (and its sister property—which we visited daily). Merci beaucoup to all that made our stay with Airelles so wonderful.
