Airoma hate to see me coming! We went on a Tuesday and there was barely a line. The inside made me a little sad though haha they cleared all the tables and chairs aside to make room for a snaking line. No more cute and cozy vibes. Service was nice and drinks came out quickly. We got the Banana Matcha, Pandan Matcha, and Marble Coffee. I got 75% sweet for everything. It was perfect for me, but I like sweet so maybe most of y’all would like even less sweet. Airoma really is peak because the drinks were so good. I know the banana matcha is viral right now and it *is* really good, but personally, I really like the pandan matcha. It tastes like che. The matcha flavor’s not the strong though, but I don’t mind. I love che. This is so good. We tried to come on Saturday though and the line was SO LONG we went somewhere else.

I've been meaning to try Airoma Cafe for a while. We came here on a Monday morning and there was a small line. It moved quickly, 5-10 minutes, so it wasn't too bad. I've driven by on the weekend and the line was wrapping around and much longer. We got 4 drinks to try and they were really good. My favorite was the Matcha Strawberry. I'm looking forward to trying the Matcha Ube next time. I also wanted grass jelly, but they were out. Overall, I enjoyed the drinks and would come back here despite the wait. * Matcha Oat Latte 4/5 - The matcha taste was strong while being smooth at the same time. It was a good matcha drink. However, it wasn't as sweet as the other drinks. I don't like things being too sweet, but in this case, I wish it was a bit sweeter. * Matcha Pandan 4/5 - Good matcha drink, though the pandan flavor was pretty subdued/light. I also got this less sweet unlike the other drinks. If I get this again, I'd just do full sweet. * Matcha Strawberry 5/5 - Definitely mix this drink well. And wow, the matcha is nice, strong, and smooth. The strawberry imparted a nice, fruity taste. There were bits of strawberry also. What I love is that this drink at other places would taste sweet and sour. Here, it was mostly sweet and the flavor profiles blended together very well. * Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea 5/5 - Even though Airoma is more famous for their coffee and matcha, the milk tea was really good. You can really taste the tea flavor. According to my partner, "The drink is not basic, but it doesn't try too hard either."

Google
Don't go here!! The tea and coffee are so good, people are lining up around the corner just to get a drink. The drinks are so delicious, they are getting numerous posts on social media. Yes, the service is fast and the drinks are amazing, but please stay away. It's too crowded. We tried four matcha drinks: Matcha Einspanner, Matcha Pandan, Matcha Ube, and a Double Matcha. The drinks were amazing with balance, flavor and just the right sweetness, but the wait was an hour. They have a second cafe in Las Vegas, but they can definitely benefit by opening more cafes. Until then, please stay away!! 😊

Google
Let me just say this—Airoma knows what they’re doing. The drinks here are wild in the best way. I had their Matcha Corn Latte and immediately entered my obsessed era. It was giving toasty, creamy, matcha-sweet perfection with a whisper of corn that somehow worked. So naturally, I drove two hours back for another hit… only to find out they discontinued it. Just ripped it off the menu like it never existed. I stood there heartbroken, holding nothing but my cravings and regret. Justice for the matcha corn. I rebounded with the Matcha Pandan and okay, she understood the assignment. Sweet, floral, subtle coconut-y vibes. Not mad at it at all. Now the Banana Coffee… listen. I’ve had better versions. This one felt like the banana milk and the coffee had beef. They just weren’t blending well. Like two coworkers forced to do a group project. You sip it, and you can feel the awkward silence. The line? Long. But fast. You’ll blink and suddenly be at the front holding a $7 drink that tastes like someone’s creative genius in a cup. Overall: Airoma is for the girlies (and guys) who like their caffeine with personality. You’ll find a drink you love, fall hard, and then probably have your heart broken when it’s gone. But isn’t that part of the fun?

This place is always packed line wrapped around the corner everytime i drove by, but lucky i went at 6pm on a weekday so its more chill no line at all. For a first timer, I can see why it’s packed now lol. I ordered 2 matcha einspanners and it was superrr delicious, not too sweet and the matcha tasted rich indicates it’s high quality, the top cheese cream was so good, fat creamy i couldnt stop eating!! Service was quick, drinks pumped out constantly. $7 per cup. No seating the inside is pretty small it’s a better shop for togo. cant wait to come back to try their matcha pandan that looks yummy too! 9.25/10

Google
20-30 minute wait, there was a line when we came. no inside seating due to lines happening. parking can be an issue. banana matcha tasted artificial. pandan matcha wayy to sweet. oat matcha latte tasted more like oat than matcha. hot indoor and no inside seating made it 1/5 atmosphere. so loud and no place to wait inside when hot outside

Google
10/10 THIS IS THE BEST MATCHA I EVER HAD IN SOCAL 💚🍵I LOVE the matcha enispanner IT IS SO DELICIOUS!! Also, the banana matcha so YUMMYYY!!! Also ofc, if you are a coffee person, you should try UBE Coffee !!!

Daphne M

Google
Crazy long line. Came by 3rd time and finally got the drinks. Ube latte is so good. Banana latte is also amazing. I think this is the place that I tried in LA this trip(from NY) and is the best!

Yelp
Wow first time here! Matcha tasted so good, staff were very nice! I would definitely come back. No seating due to many people but that's okay (: it was worth waiting!

Abraham O.

Yelp
The pandan matcha it's amazing. The best matcha I have ever had. Service is good as well good with orders

Junior G.

Yelp
Honestly, probably one of the best matcha lattes I have tried. TRUST ME. The service was great with nice cashiers and baristas. But GIRL the line is wild and inside the store ever since they got rid of the seating it is wild. I understand you know popularity but just get there early and it'll be great.

Yelp
Airoma has some of the best drinks around -- seriously, everything I've tried has been super good. The flavors are always on point and not too sweet, which I love. You can tell they actually care about what they're serving. The staff is also really nice and helpful. They're quick with orders and always friendly. Only downside is there's no seating anymore, which kinda sucks. It used to be a nice spot to sit and hang out, but now it's just take your drink and go. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to know if you're planning to chill there. Still, definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

Yelp
I visited this place a few months ago and completely forgot to leave a review -- but it definitely deserves all the hype! I went on a Saturday morning around 9:30-10 a.m., and there were about 15 people ahead of me in line. As soon as I joined, even more people started lining up, but the line went by pretty quickly. I ordered a matcha Einspänner for myself and a banana latte for my friend -- both were amazing! I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
honestly, the popularity is deserved i don't really like matcha, but the einspanner was super duper good! (maybe just because it was sweet but nonetheless good) so popular at all times of the day, but i think the service is pretty quick & the interior is very modern, so it's nice to wait inside! would highly recommend, the house coffee is also very solid

Yelp
I was in the mood for a delicious Matcha and Airoma has been on my list for a very long time. Well today was the day. I finally got to try this place to see what the hype was all about. I went in the morning around 9 o'clock, and there was no line and I got my drink right away. Since it was my first time there, I asked the worker there what was the most popular drink and without hesitation she said their Einspanner matcha. After a couple of minutes, my drink came and it looked so pretty and tasted even better. Such a great flavor of matcha without being overly sweet or bitter. Definitely one of the better matcha drinks I've had in a while. I definitely would like the come back to try their strawberry matcha next time. Parking can be tight but it's definitely worth it.
google avatar

Taylor U.

Yelp
Really good matcha! There was a super long line in front of the shop but it does go fast. They also make your drinks quick too. I got the strawberry matcha and the matcha einspanner. Both were super good! It's hard to choose one other the other. The strawberries in the strawberry matcha was sweet and makes the drink sweeter which I like. The Einspanner is more matcha with i think matcha foam on top? The matcha tasted better on this one. I still recommend either. Interior is small, and there's no seatings. Parking lot might get hectic since it's not too big either.

Yelp
Airoma has been on my list and the day I chose to go, the line was wrapped all the way to the end of the business center. However, I chose to stay because I was intrigued. I set my timer and I waited 35 minutes before getting to order my drink. The line went quickly and I was in the shade. I will say that the moment I took a sip, the wait was worth it. I got the banana Coffee and wow, it was absolutely heavenly. As soon as the order was placed I waited maybe 2 minutes and it was ready. Due to the line, there are no tables or chairs inside. But everyone was definitely lingering and vibing. This place is in my top 3 coffee spots in Orange County and let me tell you, I am on it. I am going to add it to my rotation. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I've heard others rave about airoma for a while, and I finally got to try it. It did not disappoint!! It was a Tuesday at 1:10pm that i arrived and there was a line outside. The parking lot isn't very big and it was busy. I waited in line for about 25 min and got their double matcha. Drink came quickly and it was really good. It was creamy and that earthy matcha flavor was there (though I prefer it to be stronger personally). I'm sad that airoma is far from where I live otherwise I would come here often.

Yelp
This place lives up to the hype! I'm not a matcha connoisseur, but this is one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had. Try the einspanner--you won't be disappointed. Despite the line out the door, the service is quick and efficient.

Yelp
I was in the area and craving for coffee. This place has very good yelp review, so I decided to stop by. It was a very hot day, and I want something ice cold. There was a line when I got here, and they do not have dine in as I saw all the tables and chair stacked up. I ordered the matcha ube drink. Cashier was friendly and helpful. I got my drink soon after I placed my order. The drink looks very pretty as you can see in my picture. I mixed it and it came out as gray-ish color, not too attractive looking. However, it tasted amazing! The taste of ube and matcha is a perfect combination for summer. It was not heavy. The sweetness of ube balance out the bitterness of the matcha. Price is reasonable and there are plenty of parking spaces. I will come back again!

Yelp
I went back when it first was popular and the line was out the door. The strawberry matcha was good, until they took it off the menu. Ever since then, the quality of their matcha has gone down considerably, especially at their new location. The workers there are really fast and get orders out in a timely manner even when it's busy, but I can't see myself coming here ever again when places like Taty's continue to maintain their quality even amongst the popularity. TLDR it seems after the initial hype, they removed all the tables from inside the store, took drinks off the menu, and the matcha quality has gone down.
google avatar

Yelp
Clearly I was too eager to drink my banana matcha (secret menu) as the photo of the drink is half full. Airoma has been my go to matcha/coffee drink place since 2023, unfortunately it has fallen prey to the tiktok hype. Good for business, horrible for lines. But if ifs your first time stand in the line because the drinks are amaaazing. And the workers move very quickly without tarnishing the drink quality. My go to's are the pandan matcha as it encompasses both flavors beautifully mixed with the slightly thick yet creamy drink texture. The banana matcha has been an ongoing craze recently especially with brewstory in HB. This I honestly prefer as the banana flavor is not overpowering at all. The place used to have tables and was a nice study spot, but due to busy-ness they took the seats out. However the cashier/pick up section still provides a homey/modern look! You can never go wrong the banana matcha, matcha pandan, banana coffee, ube matcha!!
google avatar

Grace N.

Yelp
I am not sure what the hype is all about here, but the line is pretty long! I came with my friend and the consensus was to get in line and wait so we waited. What took the longest was the line but once you order your drinks, it didn't take too long for them to be done. I got the ube matcha and ube coffee. My friend got the pandan matcha. I'm not a fan of pandan anything and is very sensitive to the taste and flavor of pandan.. just one of those things. I think I used to get pandan drinks so much in the past that I OD'ed on it and just can't stand the taste and flavor of it anymore, even though my friend said and it seems like pandan matcha is one of the popular drinks here. So the drinks were alright, I don't think they were anything special or super greet about it. The ube cream/foam they have here does not have the particular sweet taste that I'm used to (if you get Magnolia's ube icecream or eat an actual ube roots etc, you will know that very unique taste and flavor I'm talking about) and here, Airoma's ube does not have that. What is stranger is my ube matcha has pandan taste in it!! And I just do not like that flavor or taste! So my verdict is I prolly won't get in line here again for their drinks. Maybe I will though for their other coffee drinks without anything ube but only if there is no line. My friend loves his drink though.
google avatar

Azusa H.

Yelp
Woooowww I came here because I was trying to look up the best matcha place and they were right! The parking was pretty easy since it was spacious and people were going in and out. The cafe was small and they took away the seating away so there was only a sofa in the corner. The line went by fast and the staff gave me recommendations since it was my first time. I got the matcha espannier and it was sooo good! The cream on top was thick and perfectly sweet. When you mix everything together it just completed the drink. I am definitely going to try other drinks next time too! I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Pete S.

Yelp
I'm not sure what to add that you probably don't know already *best matcha drink in all of OC *parking is impossible but street parking is plenty *the line can be intimidating since it wraps outside but it was 25 minutes for me. *everything is to go, they have eliminated seating so they can squeeze more people inside. *not really any food served.
google avatar

Yelp
OAT MILK MATCHA (LEFT): came here last summer July 2024 before the tiktok hype. honestly disappointed bc it was watered down? maybe it's the oat milk?? for socal, there are def wayyy better spots out there. also got 25% sweetness which i DO NOT REC, getting 75-100% next time but i don't think it would've watered down my drink MATCHA EINSPANNER (RIGHT): also 25% sweet w/ oat milk but perfectly sweet and thick! approve of this drink if ur into thick, creamy matchas. nothing special though
google avatar

Ariana M.

Yelp
This long-time GG staple has become one of the most hyped cafes in all of OC -- for good reason! Perfect for coffee/matcha lovers, those new to matcha, or anyone who wants to try something new, they have a large variety of drinks incorporating cultural flavors. They use oatmilk in all of their drinks, but I'm not sure if they offer milk-alternatives. Also, to manage lines better, they had to get rid of most if not all seating inside. They work hard to accommodate all visitors, so patience is needed when lines get long! I've visited during various times/days so I can't suggest a time when it's not as busy, but I fully believe they are worth the wait.
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Drinks: 5/5 Matcha drinks are strong. I got strawberry matcha and was recommended extra strawberries to make the drink sweeter. 5/5 if you like your drinks sweet. Service: The line is pretty long every time we're there. But, they move fast. Ambiance: no sit in. It's a small store for order, pickup and go. No online order at this time. It gives me Omomo vibes.
google avatar

Jhannell O.

Yelp
The hype is so real. I went around 12 PM on as Thursday and the line was not tooooo bad. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and got my drink after 10 mins. I ordered a matcha einspanner and it was so rich. The cream wasn't too thick on top. The matcha flavor was so rich. I have to go again !!!
google avatar

AmyLiccet N.

Yelp
SO GOOD!! we had to stop by multiple times before heading home because the matcha was that good! The space didn't have any seating as there was a long line but the drinks were really good and we were looking for grab and go options! Highly would recommend!
google avatar

Joyce P.

Yelp
the line goes down the strip mall but, service is good somewhat moving up faster than I thought. I waited 25 mins for 2 drinks, they are working fast in the back pushing all the drinks out. i got the Matcha Einspanner with extra Matcha. The cream on top of the cream top, is thick and creamy! It's good although it's missing the Matcha kick so I added an extra shot. I think this is a good spot for more sweet matchas, the regular matcha latte is great at 70% sweetness.
google avatar

Thina C.

Yelp
My niece told me all about this place, and I just had to check it out! I'm so glad I did! The customer service was amazing, and everything was super quick. And let me tell you, my matcha was absolutely delightful! *chefs kiss*
google avatar

Celeste H.

Yelp
Line was long but didn't take too long! Prob around 15-20 mins total from line to receiving drink. I got the matcha oat latte since it was a little late in the day and didn't want to be too overly caffeinated. Wasn't sure about the hype but now I get it! Their matcha wasn't powdery or grainy like most places. And the flavor was powerful and didn't just taste like milk or watered down.
google avatar

Trisha D.

Yelp
Drink: Matcha Einspanner Price: $7.00 Overall: I said I would will def want to go back again to try their Matcha Einspanner and I did. I came in the morning on a Sunday and the drinks came out pretty quickly (NO LINE YESS). Best drink to get here and it is still on my mind. I think that says enough about the drink and the place; I'll def be back for the matcha Einspanner only
google avatar

Maggie Q.

Yelp
Line moves fast & drinks are as yummy as they look. Seats are closed off so grab & go. Been coming occasionally for the last few months after my workout class, as a little treat. Usually around 3-5pm on a weekday, there is a line but it moves fast within 10-20 minutes. I've come rain and shine and there has always been a line. I've seen folks young and old here, and have always heard people shocked at the line and saying, "this better change my life!" You WILL be stuck either yapping with your friends or listening to others yap in close proximity. I've had the matcha einspanner (with oat milk but the cream is still lactose) and it's so yummy! Had the strawberry matcha last time and it was good as well and definitely on the sweet side. Though I haven't ventured much on their menu, their matcha options have been great so far!
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
On a weekend, the line here may look pretty long but it does move pretty quick compared to other popular tea places (like Omomo). When we got in the line, it was about 3 or so shops down but we only waited about 30 minutes from getting in line to getting our drinks which isn't too bad. Parking might be hard though fyi. We've only tried 3 drinks (matcha einspanner, matcha pandan, and matcha ube) but they slap enough that it's safe for us to assume that everything else is probably good too.

Yelp
Delicious, ube coffee, strawberry marcha , einspanner matcha There is no room to sit... but it is worth the drive

Yelp
Airoma Cafe is specialized in Vietnamese coffee. It is located in Saigon center. There was ample parking. We went around two o'clock, the line was very long. They had a sign on the door said that they removed the seating area due to increase in customers visiting. My plan was to try their pandan coffee first, then order more drinks. Since the line was long, I changed my plan and ordered many drinks to try. Honestly, the line moved fast. The baristas were very welcoming and friendly. The service was top notch, quick and efficient, even with the large number of customers. I got the following drinks; - Egg coffee 5/5 It was rich and had strong coffee base but well balanced by this creamy yummy flavor of the foamy crème brûlée like taste. - Matcha ube latte 5/5 The matcha had unique sweetness and bitterness taste balanced with the silky, creamy and colorful ube flavor. - 2 Pandan coffee 5/5 The BEST pandan coffee I have tried. I wish I could order more. It was silky, rich and fragrant. - 2 Banana coffee 5/5 My goodness! I felt I was drinking a dessert not a cup of coffee. The strong coffee blended with the flavorful taste of banana. The barista told me to mix the drinks well for better taste. I tried all the drinks before mixing them and after. She was absolutely right! The drinks tasted perfect after mixing with the straw. Airoma is a great place to stop by and try their unique, high quality and pleasant drinks.

Yelp
I love Airoma with my whole heart and soul. I make it a mission every time I'm in the area to get Airoma cause I'm not exaggerating, it's one of my favorite Matcha spots in SoCal. Parking is okay. The lot is decent sized, but depending on what time of the day you go, it can be a challenge and you might end up circling around for a bit. The lot isn't also the most big car friendly either. The place itself is small and clean. They don't offer seating but that's because they're so busy, they need the room to mange the flow of the line, so it's pretty understandable. The service I had no issues with. The place is almost always busy, so the workers are definitely working hard and fast. I personally like that they offer no seating, it helps the flow of the line. Even though it looks busy, I felt like I never had to wait too long and I hate waiting. So A+ to that. The matcha is really yummy. I've had the matcha einspanner, pandan matcha and corn matcha and have enjoyed them all. I don't think I've ever been disappointed by a drink. None of the combos take away the taste of the actual matcha. I am definitely going to be back. Multiple times. I really really like this matcha and it is at the top of my list. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you should try it!

Yelp
Great Matcha drinks, amazing Coffee, great tea refreshers, & your classic long lines for boba is how I'd classify Airoma! It's been awhile since a pretty solid spot has opened & one that makes great matcha drinks! Favorites are the Matcha Einspanner & Matcha Corn, were both amazing & the matcha was super smooth, creamy, rich, & not overly bitter, but definitely on the sweeter side, so I'd go with half or less if you can! Parking 2/5: Tight spots, not the worst or best parking lot. Wait 2/5: There can be pretty long lines of 20+ people, but usually there are 2x cashiers. Drinks 5/5: Been here quite a few times, only one poor experience! (Note: Ceremonial Grade Matcha is a western marketing term used to sell matcha, but doesn't guarantee quality) -Japan doesn't refer to any matcha as ceremonial/culinary grade.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about Airoma. Somebody picked this up for me, so I can't say anything about the service or wait, but it may be overhyped. I ordered the banana coffee and was super excited, but it was a letdown. The aftertaste of this was so artificial, it had the same flavor as after you swallow cherry medicine. I really don't know how they could've replicated this flavor. It was so odd. You get used to it, so I wouldn't say it was awful. I also tried a bit of the pandan latte, which was significantly better. Even though it's on the sweeter side, the pandan has a stronger flavor and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Still, I'm not sure I would come here again or if it's worth the long line.

Yelp
After seeing it all over my feed, I finally got to try it!! We went an hour before closing on a Friday. One of us called to see if there was a wait and they said there wasn't. When we got there, there was a line! Despite that, the line moved quickly and drinks came out a few minutes after. I ordered the matcha panda at 75% sweetness and it was so good! The pandan tasted like real pandan, definitely one of the best pandan drinks I had. The matcha was also very good; both flavors complimented each other very well. If only this place wasn't so far I would visit more often :,). I would love to try the other drinks on the menu! Definitely would come here again.
google avatar

Jonna G.

Yelp
Be prepared of the line! If you don't mind waiting then it's worth the wait. I wish they kept the seating inside and they also need to have the AC on. I felt bad for the workers since it was so humid inside. Makes sense not to have it on since the door is always kept open due to the line forming outside. The only drink I've had here is the matcha eispanner. This has to be one of the best matcha eispanner in OC. The drink is not too sweet and I can tell they use high quality matcha. I'd like to try their other drinks next time I come here.

Yelp
The line and wait to receive drinks is lengthy, but definitely worth to try at least once! I was hoping it would not live up to the hype since waits can get long but it is so good! I got the matcha einspanner and it was so delicious! I also tried the matcha pandan, which was good, but I did prefer the einspanner more.

Yelp
Crazy LONG line! We are talking a line similar to Disneyland! It was wrapped around inside and out front, and went along the sidewalk. The wait was 20 minutes just standing in the line. They were really quick with making the drinks though. Once we ordered, they called my number 5-8 minutes later. The Pandan Coffee was really good! It was on the sweeter side. I love how creamy it was! 10/10 The Egg Coffee was stronggg! Not my cup of tea. A little too strong for my liking. I gave it to my husband and he liked it. He does strong coffee. I do not lol I had to get the Egg Coffee though, since it was featured on TikTok and is the number 1 highly rated item here. Ambiance was crowded and busy! This place is bussin!

Yelp
When visiting from out of town, one of my simple joys is trying out coffee shops that are new to me. Airoma Cafe was my roulette pick on this quick road trip. Here's my verdict on the missing star: Parking was hard to find in this plaza. We ended up parking by a neighboring restaurant, but kept anxiously peeking for fear of being towed. (There are signs posted that this may occur.) Additionally, there was a line that formed outside and then wraps into the cafe. Apparently, they are so popular that complaints have come from neighboring businesses so they took out their seating to prevent lingering. Just grab and go. While waiting, I noticed that many customers walked out with MATCHA based drinks, which they offer a unique selection to choose from. I was in coffee mode, so I ended up getting the BANANA COFFEE. I know it sounds odd, but it's good. Sweet, but nicely balanced. I also got to try the EGG COFFEE, which was a first for me. The egg cream texture was interesting. It wasn't particularly my style.

Yelp
Waiting in line was pretty worth it. Drinks were super good and I see myself coming back.

Yelp
Airoma Cafe is a small Vietnamese coffee shop that specializes in coffee and matcha drinks. They are located in Little Saigon and have 4 or 5 tables inside so seating is limited. However on the times that I have visited (during weekday lunch time) the line has been about 5 to 10 people deep continuously. Fortunately service is efficient here and drinks are made quickly. Egg coffee ($6) - 16 oz - This drink is packed with a strong, smooth, and robust coffee. Vietnamese coffee is known for packing a punch and this didn't disappoint. Ice cubes and a sweetened egg foam rounded out this drink. Overall I was impressed with the richness and taste of the coffee here. They don't allow for much in the way of customization, but they can make the drinks less sweetened. This is a must stop if you are looking to get your Vietnamese coffee fix!

Yelp
Airoma Cafe has been around for a long time, and it was a nice surprise seeing this place recently blow up in popularity. Dropped by with a couple of friends from out of town on a Friday around 5 PM, and the line was massive. We were a little hesitant to join the line since we were in a bit of a time crunch, but the line actually went by pretty quickly! DRINK: Their menu wasn't super extensive; they specialize mostly in matcha and coffee drinks. I'll also preface by saying that I don't usually enjoy matcha drinks, but I thought I should get one anyway because that's what Airoma is known for. Matcha Pandan (4.5/5) - Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this drink as someone who doesn't like matcha. Didn't taste like grass to me, but maybe it's because the pandan flavor was pretty strong. Quite pleasant, and I would get it again. SERVICE: Service was super speedy! Huge props to them for efficiently handling such an overwhelming line. Note that since there's so much foot traffic to this place, there's no spot to sit and do usual cafe activities. (They literally put away their tables and chairs.) TLDR// Enjoyed Airoma Cafe, but I can't really tell if it lives up to its recent matcha hype since I'm not a big matcha fan/enthusiast. It's nice to see this spot receive love.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick coffee and there was a line. Middle of the day. Crazy. Very small storefront, but all they needed tbh. Cute, modern and clean. Opted for the egg coffee as it seemed to be their signature drink and wow. Totally understand why. It was so smooth and delicious. Also wishing I tried their matcha as their reviews on the matcha are rather good. Looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.

Yelp
Desperate for coffee, DS found this spot on Yelp and the pics looked promising. We showed up around 1:30 PM on a Monday, and there was a line ike Disneyland-level. At that point, it better be as good as the reviews say. Waited about 15 minutes to order, then another 5 for the drinks. No indoor seating anymore as they have a note explaining their landlord isn't thrilled about the long lines outside and has issued warnings. So now, they use the indoor space for crowd control. We didn't mind heading back to the car, but it would've been nice to sip everything inside like civilized people. That said, the drinks were incredible: * I got the egg coffee - 5/5. Creamy, strong, dreamy. * Hubby had the pandan coffee - 5/5. He was obsessed. * DS tried the matcha einspänner - 5/5. He loved it. I did too. * DS got the marble coffee - another 5/5. Total hit. We all seriously loved our drinks. I've officially added this spot to my "Must Go in LA" list. I don't love waiting in lines, but I'll absolutely wait for something this good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The service was very quick and friendly - despite the line (went by fast). The matcha einspanner was what my girlfriend and I ordered and we agree that it's lives up to the hype -- only if you like matcha though! There isn't seating anymore so you'll have to take this TOGO.

Yelp
Got the Matcha Einspänner with zero sugar. I was worried it would be too bitter since Matcha drinks without sugar usually don't taste great. But this one had a lot of cream, which created a really nice balance with the natural acidity of the Matcha. Even without sugar, it was actually pretty good. The person who took our order was kind enough to pour some sugar into a separate cup as a backup plan, just in case the zero-sugar version didn't taste good--but we didn't end up needing it because the drink was surprisingly good as is. Overall, I'd say this is probably one of the best zero-sugar Matcha drinks I've had. I'd definitely come back again.

Yelp
Dropped by on a Thursday around 11:30 am and the line looked pretty intimidating. Luckily, I think it's mostly due to the lack of space inside. There's not much room in there so it explains the out the door line. It took me about 20 minutes to be in and out. Anyway, I was really really contemplating on a fun mix of ube and matcha but ultimately decided against it and got the Matcha Einspanner. Honestly 10/10. One of the best matchas I've had. Good flavor, not too sweet. I still think about it. I'd gladly come back and wait in line for this again.

Yelp
Visited this drink spot during a SoCal trip and I'd love to come back! No seating since the line ends up blocking the doorway (according to a sorry message on their window lol), but the interior has a minimal yet relaxing look with the light warm tone wooden panels and plant deco. There's only one person at the register and another barista who will holler your order # when it's ready. They're nice about making mods even if it might not be possible due to certain pre-made elements of a drink DRINKS: *Matcha Oat Latte: This was a pleasantly surprising $6+tax for what looked like a 20oz. In the Bay Area, matcha is typically $7 and up for 16oz now (;--;) Not watered down nor too sweet and that matcha flavor definitely came through. More grassy than nutty, but not bitter. I'd love to order this again if I'm in the area!!! *Egg Coffee: Comparable to the viet coffee in San Jose, but the egg part is more like a brûlée than the condensed milk texture you'd find up North. I don't mind bc I prefer fluffy-creamy over viscous. The coffee or cocoa powder they put on top of the egg cream was a nice touch. For the caffeine sensitive: this amped my energy w/o the jitters! :) PARKING: Came on a Tuesday afternoon and there were a few spots near the storefront, but I feel like you'd have to walk a bit on a weekend given how many businesses there are in this plaza.
