Very flavourful ramen. Ordered an original, shoyu and scallop ramen. All of them were great. I love the taste and ramen cooked to al dente. Perfectly balanced of flavour. Good portion. Friendly service.

We decided to eat here after it being one of the only restaurants in Ramen Alley without a line.. so glad we did as the Miso ramen was delicious!

Located at one end of the ramen alley, one of the shops with the shortest queue, not sure what to make of that ... It was okay, I guess I was hoping for a bit more. At least I didn't have to wait.

Has the butter corn noodles, good taste, we like our ramen not too strong and oily. The lower reviews seem to be from the spicy miso ramen. Reccomend.

We tried butter corn miso ramen and wontan soy sauce ramen, 5/5 taste but the shop doesn’t have boxes for personal belongings. Overall 4.5/5. Also they only accept cash so prepare it in advance

Google
Tried the spicy miso ramen and the iwanori noodles! A true indication of a good ramen is how they balance the saltiness and spicy notes in their base soup. And it was slightly abit salty but the spiciness was just right. Noodles were springy, beansprouts were crunchy. Char Siu was cooked just nice, enough bite but soft to chew. The 3.6 reviews don't justify their quality, bump it up!

Tried the spicy miso ramen and scallop ramen. Very disappointing. Nothing comparable to Ajisai Hakodate ramen. The broth is really tasteless and generally the whole ramen dish was very very oily. They also did not strain the miso soup and thus the dish just tasted very grainy. It was edible but I feel that it was not enjoyable at all. The chef seemed a bit showy while preparing the dish and he was also multi tasking with many things at once, washing.. cooking… replenishing things… not sure about all the 5 star reviews but I felt that the ramen was not nice at all. Will definitely not return nor recommend.

Yelp
Came here at around 4:30pm on a Saturday. Had the place all to myself, the Ramen house in Sapporo's Ramen Alley where Anthony Bourdain visited and had a bowl. Even the same Ramen Chef who served Bourdain was there and so I ordered the #8 (and side of egg) with a Sapporo Beer and Gyoza. The #8 was in a light broth with pork and egg noodles. It was a cold rainy dark afternoon and the Ramen didn't seem hot enough to me. But there was a depth of flavor in the salty broth and the noodles were perfect. The slab of butter and corn didn't do much to me. I did love the side of white pepper and finely minced garlic. It was practically garlic juice. Wasn't impressed by the baby cockroach that crawled next to my bowl. Thought it was an ant at first. The garlic alley is rather romantic and for two with the beer and gyoza, you're gonna pay ¥3100. All and all, not a bad experience and with Bourdain's autograph a sort of historical foodie landmark.

Yelp
The miso ramen is the best ramen we have ever had. Highly recommend. Great service and perfect counter ambiance to watch the preparation. No photos allowed or I would have uploaded as it is perfect.

Yelp
I've eaten a lot of Miso Ramen in the Greater LA Area and Orange County, and none of them compare to what you can find at 味の華龍. Their Miso Ramen is on an entirely different level! The miso flavor is not too salty, yet it comes with a richness that gives such complexity and depth. Sapporo miso is so much more flavorful with that balance that you can't find anywhere else. Note - I wouldn't recommend the Corn Butter Noodles as they don't season it (very bland). I had to order a second bowl of ramen because I was so unhappy with it, but the Miso Ramen made it all worth it. It's impolite to leave food in the bowl, so I had to fit the two ramen bowls in my stomach.

Yelp
I was very excited about this place. It is one of the reasons I decided to come to Hokkaido. It's a small shop but you can't miss it because they have a picture of Anthony outside. It was a little confusing at first but once you sit down and order, the only thing left to do is wait for your ramen. My ramen was everything I had hoped for. I had the #12 the scallop ramen. It's a big bowl but I was able to finish it and half a Sapporo. The soup was very good, I did not need to add anything. There was also a lot of crab in my ramen. This place saved my trip!

Yelp
Made famous by Bourdain, this 16 seater ramen shop lived up to expectation. Its butter corn ramen tasted heavenly and its scallop crab ramen, out of this world. This is so far the best ramen i have ever had. Located at the famous ramen alley next to Susukino, it is the first shop of 8 ramen shops on the alley. Average sized small shop with 2 person cook and prepar the food, be ready to wait 5-15 minutes before you can get a seat during busy hour. There are tons and tons of ramen shop in Sapporo, this can be a good start to benchmark your ramen adventure in the city.

Yelp
I ordered scallop and crab Miso ramen! Noodle, soup stock and everything else are an example of An A+ Ramen Text Book. Everything is very spot on!

Yelp
Excellent miso and corn butter ramen in a small shop in Ganso Ramen Yokocho (Ramen alley). This was the ramen restaurant in Sapporo in Anthony Bourdain's Hokkaido episode (Season 7 Episode 8). Fast service, English menu and divey atmosphere.
