Restaurante Ajo de Sopas

This place is a fancy version of tapas and was amazing. The food was really unique with a very different taste from normal tapas but everything was tasty and well done. The staff was friendly and very professional, explaining all dishes and we really like that they took the time to bring us the food in a specific order and with time between dishes, sometimes things get mixed and cold but in this restaurant there was a clear care about this point. The space is very nice, with a nice outdoor.

A bit disappointed! Remember we had a very nice meal with tapas dishes in the terrace before. For the tasting menu, I only like the appetizers.

We were expecting more after reading some of the reviews but the menu didn't have much choice, the empenadillas were full of water and the outdoor area was quite littered with serviettes and other waste items from the tables.

My husband and I are new to Palencia but heard great things about Ajo de sopas so we knew we wanted to try it. Many thanks to our server that was so patient with our lack of Spanish and went above and beyond to make sure we understood what each dish was in English. She was attentive throughout the night and made our experience even better. We did the tasting menu and were blown away by the creativity and flavors. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will most definitely be back. Thank you Ajo de sopas for the beautiful night!

Went for lunch, menu very limited, mostly bar food that's dressed-up and trying to be fashionable. Service friendly but much more involved with making the scene than actually serving food. House Ribera del Duero was very good.

Probably the best meal I've had in 3 or 4 visits. Was good first few times but has kept improving.

No soup!!! So we had a drink and left.

Superb. It's obscene this is only ranked 4.5 on Google Maps.
