Perfect place for souvenir shopping, made by talented and patient crafts men and women. You can even go behind the scenes and visit the workshops where artisans are carving, painting and etching wood pieces.

A lovely gem of a workshop/shop. The place is filled to the brim with handmade wooden ornaments and crafts. These guys seem to be wholesalers so all the local and national shops and sellers buy from here and sell elsewhere at a markup. You can buy the same items here at a much lower cost. Would definitely recommend going here. You only need to ensure you’ve got a big enough case! Oh and ask to visit the workshop area where you’ll see the items being carved!

Everything is handmade. From raw material to a masterpiece. Creating such beautiful works of art with simple tools without machines is so valuable and rare. It's not expensive for this work. The people are super friendly and not intrusive. They like to talk to you. Very open and incredibly talented craftsmen. bought some things. 🫶🏻

Great people doing amazing works of art that demand time and patience. I got to see for the very first time some of the trees we have in Kenya used by the artisans there. I was amazed by the ebony tree. A tree that is naturally so black that it only needs just polishing and it is ready for use without any paint. Definately a place worthy to visit again

Neat place to buy hand crafted souvenirs but still somehow has a feeling of a toirist trap. Still prices better then in any other places

Highly recommend. Get your souvenirs here. They have a huge store with all marketed prices. You don't need to hangle with an astronomic starting price tag.

To fully experience this place you have to go back in the back where they are carving. These are amazing people that do wonderful work. If you are buying large quantities, ask for the wholesale shop.

Their wood carving is really good and detailed too. Hats off to the local people who work tirelessly on each of the carving that they work on some of it is just amazing and how they must have done it.
