Disappointing Service for a Fine Dining Experience
The food was quite good and authentic, the service was far from satisfactory. For a fine dining establishment, the service felt indifferent and impersonal—much colder than what you’d expect even from smaller restaurants.
The staff seemed to rush through every interaction as if fulfilling a routine rather than offering genuine hospitality. To our surprise, there was no “thank you” after we paid, nor did anyone acknowledge us when we left the restaurant.
Moreover, the design of the set menu was poorly thought out. We ordered the set menu for each of us, but it wasn’t made clear that the dishes would be shared. Instead of each person receiving individual portions, all items were served on shared plates. While this was manageable for some dishes, it became problematic later in the meal. For example, there was only one bowl of rice to accompany the steak, and the dessert consisted of just one single scoop of ice cream to be shared between two people. This left us feeling dissatisfied and disappointed.
Overall, while the food met expectations, the service and menu design fell short of what one would expect from a restaurant at this price point.
