Love AKI! Sushi is always delicious and fresh and the soup is THE BEST! The soup is so so so so so good! Also the ginger dressing on the salad is *chefs kiss* I like to dip my sushi in it #dontjudgeme Highly recommend!!

We had an excellent first exsperince with this local to us sushi restaurant.

Prices are fair for what you get and all the sushi rolls we get from here are great. The lunch special is a great deal, but even dinner is reasonable. Very friendly and consistent. A great place to get sushi and try new stuff too!

The food very much makes up for the atmosphere. The dining room was warm, but there are very few isolated tables and a very small dining room. Food however was delicious! I would totally get their food again. I can't complain in that regard. An important point I would make is that the soda is 'pay per glass'. I did not know that when I ordered multiple refills...

It is a cozy and clean restaurant. I like how they remodeled the place. Prices are about average for the type of food they serve. I had the Teriyaki Chicken. It came with a salad with ginger dressing. It was a good ginger dressing with a touch of something a little different in it than I am used to. Whatever it was, it was good. It also came with Miso soup, but I ended up trading my son for his clear broth soup because his clear broth had too many mushrooms in it for him. It had a lot of flavor to it. The chicken was served on a hot skillet with the sauce rapidly bubbling. It was a large portion of chicken with a nice amount of scallions and onions under it. The sauce had a nice consistency (it wasn't watery, but not gravy like) and flavor that was just right. Everything was fresh and good quality. My son liked his soup and California rolls. The only thing he mentioned is the rolls came apart easy when trying to eat them with chop sticks. He had no problem when using his fingers. He also had Thai bubble tea with bobas. I tried it and it was delicious. We might just stop by for a bubble tea to go every once in a while. Overall, I really liked it and will be stopping back to try the Yaki Udon. ---Update--- The Shrimp Yaki Udon is delicious. There are a few more shrimp under the noodles in the pic that I dug out while I was eating. Just like last time, my plate was clean when I was done. My son loves the California Rolls. I tried a coconut with milk bubble tea and it was delicious. They are huge. I didn't finish it, but they have to go cups. Service was excellent. I am told that these are the employees (not owners) from another place that closed because the rent was suddenly jacked up way too high. They banded together to start their own restaurant. Their quality food and pride in their restaurant show that they are invested in this place. I hope they are around for many years to come. 2023 and still good. No more skillets. Just regular plates.

This has been one of the very best places I have tried in the NEPA region. The food was fresh and delicious. Friendly customer service, quick delivery of food ordered. We ordered the gyoza dumplings as an appetizer. They came out very quickly and had very bright colorful flavors that were each unique and distinctive. I enjoyed the chicken & shrimp Pad Thai, it was delicious, I would of liked to had more. The presentation was clean and neat and visually appealing. My wife had the chicken teriyaki bento box. The chicken had good flavor and the sushi roll was very fresh. The crab wrapped wontons were nicely cooked, crispy on the outside and had a heavy blend of cream cheese with a tiny bit of crab. They also had some type of wrapped and fried fish that was very good. Her plate was also served with a bowl of soup (miso?) That had a nice light taste with a couple of bites mushroom in it. The side salad was a little heavy in the dressing but had a unique taste that played with a sweetness of pineapple and a watered down thousands island's blend. Over all we were very happy with the food here and would enjoy returning to try other dishes that they have available.

If you love sushi this is the place. And the prices are unbeatable. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is very casual.

Aki is the best Asian restaurant if you're looking for authentic, top notch cuisine. Fresh fish in the sushi. Authentic kimchee soup. Staff always smiling and friendly. I've been a patron of this establishment for years and I'm never unhappy or disappointed.

Wanted to try this place with my bf for date night. We drove by it many times and finally decided to try it. The place was very welcoming with friendly workers. The food was unfortunately tasteless. We both ended up getting sick after eating it.

Aki has the Freshest sushi in the area. The dining is small and quiet. The owners are always so nice. We go here every chance we get.

The place was very clean and service was great! But the star of the show was the food!! We both had poke bowls with two proteins and they were Delicious!!!! I also had a sushi roll appetizer. It was great, too. You get to pick your toppings and ingredients for the poke bowls- it was all so fresh and good! Highly recommend! Very nice place! Prices were reasonable.

For a native New Yorker, I tried to moderate my expectations even though the ratings are good. The service was very good and the rolls, noodles and bento box were delicious. Very sizable rolls. I strongly recommend this small restaurant!

The food is always good and the service is very quick. In all the times I've been to this restaurant, I only had one time where they were out of what I wanted, but I could see by the night it was very busy. Typical little restaurant very nice little place. I highly recommend eating here

This place is a complete diamond in the rough. Definitely a neighborhood gem. In terms of atmosphere it's clean and pleasant. The staff is always delightful. In terms of sushi, it's straightforward freshness in terms of classic sashimi and rolls. Their true accomplishment is being about to cater to pokebowl lovers! I've never seen such a tiny restaurant be so accurate in delivering multiple customized orders. Anytime I'm in the area I'm sure to visit!

We were in the area and got to try AKI and it was a very good option with the whole family. We ordered pickup and the food was hot and nice. Great fried rice , pad thai and good soups. We got the teriyaki chicken bento box and a side of crab rangoon as well and they were all really good. recommend if you are in the area..

I have known this place for a year. My favorite Japanese restaurant of this area so far. I'm impressed by the freshness and the portion of the food. Love their sushi and sashimi combo, the sashimi are thick and fresh.

Miso soup always aids in a speedy recovery of a winter cold - or Covid. Although I can't taste much I felt exponentially better after a few doses of miso soup and some sushi with extra wasabi

Ever since I gave them my phone number a couple months ago, for a take out order, I've been getting daily text messages from scammers. I've never had it this bad. There is also someone here catfishing on tinder. Food was good and prices decent. Just don't leave a real number

I love AKI! The food is so yummy :) Okay, I'll elaborate a bit more: I love AKI. It's closer to me than some of the other asian restaurants and the food is great. I've ordered here before with my boyfriend and I will admit that he thought the portions were not large enough for him so we cannot order for dinner but when I'm by myself or with my sister, AKI is on the list! I have gotten sushi before and it's fresh and delicious. And, I really LOVE the poke bowls! Wait time is not bad and the lady (owner?) is always very friendly. Another nice thing to note is they are very cautious with cov!d and when you walk into a foyer to pick up your food, you ring a bell and the worker comes to the window. I thought it was a nice set up keeping them safe and the customers safe. I recommend AKI! Side note, I'm from Long Island and places like these are rare to find in NEPA so I'm very happy this place exists.

They have the best general Tso and fried rice around. Only went because Kings Wok was closed. Definitely will be going again.

Very yummy food! Went here a bunch of times and everything is so tasty. Their menu has a huge selection! The pad thai was one of the best I've ever eaten. Their make-your-own Poké bowls are hands down amazing. I'd get it everyday if I could. Definitely recommend getting the ginger dressing sauce! Very yummy. :D Also recommend the shiitake mushroom, shrimp tempura, kani salad, cucumbers for a nice crunch, and peanuts for a super yummy flavor. The thai bubble tea with jelly is very delicious! Definitely recommend this place if you want a good, filling meal. :)

This place was such an unexpected find... like a hidden treasure. The food is so fresh and delicious... and reasonable. I got the crab rangoon to share, and it was delightfully crispy and plump and FRESH. I chose the combination roll option where you can pick 3, 4, or 5 rolls from the "standard roll" menu for $11 to $20. I chose 4 rolls: salmon, tuna, shrimp tempura, and an avocado, tuna, and white fish roll. Delicious! My date got a california roll - standard but tasty - and a poke bowl. Which was also delicious, per him. Definitely coming back! Great staff, friendly service, clean restaurant, and delicious food at great prices.

If you're looking for authentic Thai, sushi or Chinese food you have found it.. this place is awesome. BYOB. The service is top notch, prices are reasonable, the food is delicious and fresh! Because they just opened, I'll give them time to get more of a comfortable feel to the place, it still feels "new" and needs maybe dimmer lighting and some different music.. also, don't sit too close to the front door unless you bring a blanket!

Holy moly! I'm eternally thankful that I looked for a hot and new place near me! This restaurant is incredible! The fried calamari is creamy and flavorful, the best I've ever had. The poké bowls are ridiculous! Way more food than we could finish in one sitting and the amount of fish they give you is substantial. My daughter got a bento box and said she didn't know what was missing in her life until she tried the different items in her bento. Dramatic? Absolutely but were allowed incredibly satisfied and are already planning our next visit.

Love, love, love this place! Fantastic food. Everything is fresh. They really take pride in what they serve. We went to dinner tonight (party of 6) and we all got something different. The appetizers were the right size. Fried calamari was so fresh, I kept waiting for it to swim off the plate...steamed dumplings, crab rangoons, chicken satay & a salad. For dinner: sushi, sashimi, bento box & General Tso chicken. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owners are so nice & helpful.. if you aren't sure about something, they'll help you. If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! Can't wait to go back & try the Poke bowl!!

AKI has great food that my whole family enjoys. I have my whole family ordering from AKI now. Great cashew chicken, fried rice, soups, sushi. We haven't had a dish that we didn't like! Order pickup if you are in the area, you'll love it!!

Very fresh, excellent selection, great prices and fast service. The Rock and Roll was my favorite. Yummy bubble tea, too.

big portions. small restaurant. about 10 tables. good for groups of four of less. parking is tight. Salmon and salad was drenched in sauce. my dumpling/shumai was fried and not steamed. not really my favorite place.

One of my favorite sushi places in Lackawanna County! They have some great special rolls. If you're looking to dine in, get there early, as seating is limited.

The food there is Very fresh. Nice menu and sushi was excellent. Crab Rangoon was excellent as well. My only grip is their teriyaki sauce did not taste like teriyaki. Teriyaki sauce is dark and rich. This was light orange and more on sweet side. Didn't like it. Maybe you will but teriyaki should be just that.

This is the only restaurant in the area that offers Poke Bowls and authentic Bubble Teas. Need I say more ;) You can get any poke bowl per your preference and they will be fantastic. Get the Thai Tea Bubble Tea because it is the best tasting and a family favorite. They serve other cuisines too and we haven't tried their sushi but their calamari is very good as well as their shrimp shumai. A must try if you are in the area.

This is a new thing for Olyphant, an Asian Fusion restaurant. Very delicious and worth the try! Check out their website for their full menu. So many selections to meet everyone's taste! I enjoyed it!

Phenomenal. Best Asian food and sushi in the valley. By far. Try the Thai pepper dish, their Rangoon's, and any of their noodle dishes

My father and I ordered our food over the phone for takeout, drove less than 10 minutes away, and it was ready by the time we got there. Despite the alarmingly fast service, the food doesn't taste cheap at all. The vegetables are fresh and flavorful, which can't be said for a lot of the East Asian restaurants around here. I was most excited to taste the bubble tea since I love the drink but can't find a lot of places around here that sell it. I wound up getting an iced tea instead since it appealed to me more, and that exceeded expectations. It's very sweet and refreshing, perfect for the humid summer heat. I can't wait to fill up my punch card with bubble teas, since I'll definitely be back

We travel a lot and we have found this gem in Olyphant . The food is amazing. Everything we order has been very authentic and fresh. This is our favorite Asian restaurant . The service is wonderful . It's a quaint restaurant in a great location. Highly highly recommend ! We love the poke bowls . The tempura is fresh and amazing. The hypes and the dumplings are so very fresh and authentic. They have great bubble tea as well.
