⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Came here for lunch with my partner after noticing this place had opened a few months ago, and we were genuinely impressed. The interiors are stunning — very high ceilings, and we were told it used to be a bank that’s now been converted into a Japanese restaurant. The entrance alone sets the tone. ✨ Staff were friendly and welcoming, the interior design is thoughtfully done, and the overall atmosphere is calm and upscale without feeling stiff. We were seated in the middle at a very spacious table, which we really appreciated. We went for the tasting menu and, honestly, by the end of the course we were completely full — no room for dessert at all, which says a lot. 🍣 The quality and portioning were spot on. There’s also a bar upstairs and another in the basement. We didn’t check them out since it was still early, but it’s definitely a reason to come back. 🍸 Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for high-quality Japanese food in the area. We’ll be back. 👍

Everything—from the sublime food to the impeccable service and stunning ambiance—was perfection. Every single dish was a masterpiece, each one a breathtaking piece of art, almost too beautiful to eat. Yet, with every bite, the culinary delight exceeded all expectations. The kitchen's precision and technique are a triumph, showcasing a commitment to excellence that you can taste in every perfectly cooked, expertly crafted dish. The experience was elevated further by the attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Our server expertly guided us through the menu with genuine passion, answering all our questions with ease. The cocktail menu is as inventive as the food, and my amazing cocktail was an absolute highlight. With its perfect balance of floral and airy notes, it was a work of art in a glass, a perfect ode to the Japanese cherry blossom. Aki London isn't just a restaurant; it's a sensory journey where luxury, flavour, and art come together in spectacular fashion. It is an unforgettable fine dining experience that I cannot recommend highly enough.

AKI London is an incredible new Japanese spot and easily one of my favourite recent finds in the city. The food presentation is stunning, the flavours are spot on, and the atmosphere is modern, elegant and perfect for a night out. A special shoutout to Stefano, who provided excellent service throughout — friendly, attentive and really made the experience even better. They also offer halal options, which is a huge plus and makes the restaurant accessible for everyone. Overall, a must-visit when in London! Highly recommend.

While walking through a London street, a concierge stationed at the entrance of a listed building greeted us in Spanish, noticing we were speaking the language between ourselves. At first glance, the establishment looked more like an exclusive private club than a restaurant, so we were intrigued when the concierge kindly informed us about the Japanese restaurant housed within. Curious and somewhat uncertain, we decided to give it a try on a Sunday lunch—and what a wonderful decision that proved to be . From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated. The refinement and elegance of the tasting menu immediately impressed us. What struck us most was the exceptional balance between classic Japanese cuisine and innovative creations—each dish was a masterpiece of presentation. One standout was the beautifully crafted tempura prawns with a stunning red hue that was almost too beautiful to eat. Beyond the outstanding food, the ambiance of the restaurant deserves special mention. The interior design is impeccable, tastefully decorated with meticulous attention to detail. For London standards, this level of sophistication in setting is truly impressive. What's particularly remarkable is that Aki manages to deliver this extraordinary experience at a price point that feels genuinely reasonable for the quality and artistry of what you receive . This was a genuinely positive culinary experience from start to finish. Such a great addition to the London food scene, this is truly one to pay a visit to! Everything was impeccable, from the presentation and fresh food, to the exquisite and delicate but very luxurious interiors. Each dish had its own unique flavour, carefully crafted and thought through! The staff was very attentive as well and made us feel comfortable and very well taken care of. Will be back!

Amazing experience! The food was excellent — everything was absolutely delicious. You can really taste how fresh and high-quality the ingredients are. The atmosphere is fantastic: a beautiful, well-thought-out interior with a stylish, upscale feel. It’s clear that a lot of care and taste went into the design. Prices are very fair and fully reflect the quality, without being overpriced. I truly enjoyed my visit and would happily come back again!

I have visited Aki a few times now and it has been absolutely exceptional every time- my new favourite sushi spot in London. Despite being in the middle of town, it feels completely serene, with stunning interiors and amazing architecture. The service is second-to-none, I have been waited on by a different staff member every visit and all have been faultless- they are so attentive, offering to talk through the menu, give recommendations, and bring over the sommelier for pairing insights. The main event is most definitely the food. I have tried a variety of dishes now and have found they all strike a magical balance of traditional techniques and quality ingredients, with truly unique twists- such as the tomato miso on the blue fin tuna maki. Must orders are the wagyu gyoza, tuna tartare, every single maki, and the black cod. Will keep coming back- stunning!
