Akina sushi

Abel was a very hospitable host. The rest of the wait staff was okay. It was Valentine's Day, maybe that played a part in our service experience. The edamame came steamed and lightly salted. The Tuna tataki was delicious. My husband enjoyed his king salmon belly sashimi the most, he was happy with the others, but the king salmon was his favorite-it came on a bamboo ladder beautifully presented. My spicy rainbow roll came presented creatively on a bamboo leaf~adorned with a flower, the flavors were good. We ordered a chocolate mousse, what we got was more akin to a cheesecake as far as density- that was disappointing. I was looking for something light and delicate- I would not recommend ordering the mousse.

I travel from SoCal to Philly a few times a year for work and I always have a meal or two at Akina. Fish quality and presentation has always been top notch (for take out sashimi platter, they added fatty tuna which was amazing), service is great whether eating in or for take out, and the team working there are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Every single piece of sushi (and the appetizers) were DELICIOUS. The chefs here have truly mastered texture, display, and the servers are so incredibly polite and kind! This will 100% be a place I come to so much more and I’m so thankful to find this gem of a sushi restaurant!

Had a wonderful Christmas dinner at Akina sushi. The staff was extremely attentive, accommodating and the food came out quickly. They even gave us a complementary dessert which was very nice. Overall excellent food and experience. Highly recommend supporting this new restaurant!

The service here is above and beyond. W head the most wonderful waiter. It was bitterly cold but we decided to dine in, they gave us hot miso soup to warm us up. Honestly so wonderful! We had the couples sushi dinner for two.

First time at Akina Sushi, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The sushi was excellent—fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Even when I showed up with a sake bottle that was probably a little too big, they handled it with nothing but kindness and professionalism, lol. Really appreciated the great service and atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!

First time going to Akina and it won't be the last. What a great meal from start to finish. The staff is very friendly, good menu, fresh fish and fun presentations. A bit pricey but worth it.

The servers here went above and beyond for us even though we came in late. They catered to everything we asked, and the environment was very clean and cozy. Once our food came out, I was impressed with the quality and flavor of the rolls. Would highly recommend this gem!

Honestly, 3.5-stars; but hope they will get better in time. ...heard that a new sushi place opened; decided to try to see. Inside of restaurant seemed to be clean and new. It was rather dark than bright...probably because of decor. As usual, I got first dish for normal sushi plate. This typically tells how good or bad fish selection and chef's skills, I think. Two pieces of Tuna, two pieces of Salmon, two pieces of white Tuna, and four pieces of white fish (this probably was Izumidai), and six pieces of spicy-crunchy Tuna roll. Number of pieces was good volume, but variety of fish, I felt, was a little less. I would rather like to enjoy some more different kind than same pieces on the plate. Their service was very attentive and good, welcoming and kept attention thtoughout dining time.

Very fresh sushi- and very kind service! One of their staff greeted us and despite being very busy with limited seating, he seated the two of us at a 4 person table quickly because he noticed my wife is pregnant and wanted to let her sit down comfortably! They were very busy at this time and this gesture was very thoughtful. This same gentleman noticed that someone was smoking outside near the stoop entrance as we left and he offered to ask that person to kindly move so we could avoid the smoke on our way out ... we let him know that wasn't necessary, however we really appreciated his thoughtfulness! We ordered the gyoza, the fisherman's wharf sushi, the tonkotsu ramen, and the 10 piece sushi platter which comes with a spicy tuna roll. All of it was great! The sushi /sashimi really hit the spot - fresh fish, good rice! Also enjoyed their miso soup. The fisherman's wharf was delicious although we thought it needed a little extra flavor so we dipped it in soy and some more spicy mayo. My wife enjoyed the ramen as well- she liked the broth and thought the crispy torched pork belly was delicious. We will definitely be back! Hopefully my wife will be able to try some of their raw sushi next time :)

It's literally the best sushi I've had in years. I got the sushi dinner and it came with spicy tuna crunchy roll.

We had such a great experience at Akina! They heard it was my friends birthday and sent over a dessert and sang to her - we didn't even have to ask! The service was great, you could tell they really care about their customers. The food was great too. We had the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu ramen and split a few sushi rolls. Great new byob in Conshy!

Ordered pick up twice and rolls are consistent. Wish they included shrimp roll options into the 2 roll special like other sushi spots in the area do. Please add option to pay online versus only in store (especially with the limited parking out front- you can't leave your car for long) and get rid of the $1.00 convenience fee. Good sushi for conshy, with these tweaks would make the review a 5

Absolutely amazing experience! I came in for dinner this evening with my friends and 9 month old baby boy. The staff was so kind playing with my son and even holding him and showing him around! I've never had such an amazing experience dining out like this before! Our food was also very delicious and fresh. Thank you so much to the staff at Akina sushi for being so helpful and sweet with my baby!!!

In my opinion, it's just not that good, food wise atheist. The waitress was one of the nicest person I have ever met, but the broth and Ramen was just not that good at all. It didn't taste awful per se, but it was just very bland to be honest. There's so much foods used in the combination that are not properly utilized to their full potential. Maybe a different style of cooking the foods will make it pop.

Very friendly service - they are super attentive to their customers. Everything is beautiful even down for the chopsticks and napkins, which is a really nice touch. The food is delicious and fresh! We got sushi and chicken teriyaki, and both plates were just stunning with big portions and great quality. I highly recommend! Great ambiance as well.

Attentive servers, straight-from-China decor, American style sushi. Potstickers looked like store bought. Katsu was generous, no curry or katsu sauce, served with teriyaki instead and tiny bowl of rice but was fine. Customers seemed happy, might be perfect for Conshy crowd.

The food is fabulous. Amazing customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant to anyone. We ordered takeout and loved it. Tables are nicely spaced and overall a calm vibe.

This is my new go-to sushi restaurant! I had the salmon crunch roll and sweet potato roll. The fish was incredibly flavorful and the sweet potato was so fresh, the tempura was still warm - really delicious. This place also puts a lot of care into the details which made the dining experience equally as impressive. I will 100% be coming back soon!
