Our Favorite Neighborhood Sushi Spots In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"At Akino Sushi in Elmhurst, you won’t feel like you have to gamify the restaurant in order to get your money’s worth on their AYCE deal. A small restaurant with brick walls, Akino serves well-made, simple sushi for a reasonable price. On weekdays, lunch costs $26 and dinner costs $41, while weekends are $43 all day, and you get two hours to order as much as you want. This is one of the few AYCE sushi spots that doesn’t cater to a rowdier crowd, because they don’t offer an all-you-can-drink option. But, notably, bottles of beer are priced at $5." - bryan kim, neha talreja, carlo mantuano, sonal shah

The 9 Best All-You-Can-Eat-Deals in NYC

"Normally, AYCE sushi spots mean one thing: birthday parties for barely legal college students, with sake bombs, pitchers of beer, and people going "Woo!" And that’s just fine, if that’s what you’re looking for. If you’re not, try Akino Sushi in Elmhurst, a quieter spot that offers $26 AYCE at lunch, and $41 at dinner on weekdays (weekends are $43). They avoid some of the classic maneuvers you might find at similar spots, like serving nigiri with avocado-sized balls of rice. Instead, their sushi is simple but solid, and genuinely endless. Drink a $5 beer while checking off rolls for your sixth round of sushi." - will hartman, willa moore, neha talreja, bryan kim

Akino Sushi - Review - Elmhurst - New York - The Infatuation

"At Akino Sushi in Elmhurst, you won’t feel like you have to “beat the restaurant” in order to get your money’s worth on their AYCE deal. You can try, but they aren’t deploying any of the countermeasures you’ll find at similar places, like overloading nigiri with a ball of rice the size of a 12-gauge shotgun shell. A small restaurant with brick walls, Akino just serves well-made, simple sushi for a reasonable price. Weekdays are $26 for lunch and $41 for dinner, while weekends are $43 all day, and you get two hours to order as much as you want. This is one of the few AYCE sushi spots that doesn’t cater to a rowdier crowd, because they don’t offer an all-you-can-drink option. But bottles of beer are also nicely priced at $5. photo credit: Will Hartman" - Will Hartman

Dang this place slaps especially with the ayce menu. Typical ayce prices but this ain’t your average sushi ayce. They really don’t try to squeeze you for your last penny out of the price you’re paying. All you can eat sashimi (they don’t judge) and they ain’t stacking rice on you. They know exactly what you came there for. If you look at the maki’s I have posted, there’s quite a shortage on rice there (big plus). Value met every time and you definitely will walk out of here knowing you got your dollars worth even if you didn’t uncomfortably stuffed yourself. Spoiler: they give you a charms lollipop a person after checking out

Google
Pretty good AYCE sushi spot. Sashimi quality is pretty good for the salmon and white tuna. The price is bit on the pricier side for the location but you will find consistency which you want with sushi and sashimi for an enjoyable experience. When we went the rolls were not overly stuffed with rice. The dreaming roll was great. The size and portion of items is small but since its all you can eat, it doesn’t matter. The service is pretty good. Try to go on a non busy time during the week for best experience.

I’ve came here several times when Akino had the outdoor seating in the parking lot and also experienced the indoor seating. The outdoor seating was a bit uncomfortable, so glad they got rid of it. The service has been pretty good. I’ve never had an issue except for the time I found something in my water and asked for a new one. The food itself is good! I love the variety of menu items and no limit on sashimi is great. This is one of the only two Japanese spots I go to in the area. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Elmhurst or craving for sushi and sashimi or even for a special occasion.

Google
I had the AYCE on weekend prices ($43) and it was one of the better ACYE sushi I’ve had. The sashimi is really good and they don’t limit the number you can get. There’s a lot of options for appetizers, and most of them are solid. Some rolls were good, but others were mid (just not my preference). The service wasn’t as good - the waiters rarely came around to check for additional orders to add water.

Google
Second time trying this place AYCE ,food come right away . Lunch special $27 is worth it you can eat what ever you like option are broad , service was good . Sushi pizza was too oily but sashimi and sushi are fire

Google
This is a hidden gem. $43 all-you-can-eat dinner or $29 lunch with lots of sushi and other japanese food options like katsu and tempura. Despite being unlimited, all the sushi is actually very good. Bear in mind that the pieces are quite small though, so order away. The rolls have a thin outer layer of rice, so you get a lot of filling. I wish the drinks had been colder, none of the beers were truly cold. Would definitely recommend.

Google
Fantastic ayce sushi! The nigiri fish to rice ratio was perfect, more fish than rice!! Excellent salmon teriyaki and udon too.

Danielle Sato

Google
Recently came back here with my friend and honestly, you can’t ask for more it’s super delicious. The fish seems fresh and you can see the sushi chef’s right there cutting and slicing everything. I’d say the portions for the appetizers and stuff on the menu are kind of small but it makes sense. Our waiter attended us maybe once or twice but I like that since we don’t have to be interrupted. Overall, it’s such a nice place. I think it could be a little more affordable, but you can’t really beat the price when it comes to 2025.

Yelp
ayce or not this is my favorite sushi spot in nyc which is a crazy title considering ive been to 30 other places in nyc over the past three years. ive only come for the dinner ayce for $41 but the $26 lunch ayce might be a better deal if you can make mon-thurs lunchtimes. the only differences are some special rolls, sushi appetizers, and weekly specials - some of which are pictured. im not usually a fan of sushi apps but all the ones ive tried at akino are memorable and fun. on the other hand, the special rolls didnt stand out much to me compared to others ive tried in the past. lastly, the monthly special items are something i would normally be cautious about but the 2 times ive been here theyve always been exquisite and i end up getting more than 1 order. the first time it was some white fish lightly cooked in some alcohol and the second time (march 2025!) its a5 wagyu. these monthly special items speak a lot about the high standards akino has and strives to provide to customers! fresh fish, wide variety, and fast service in a clean space - what else is there to ask for? just be wary of long waits on weekends!

Yelp
So/so sushi - Let me start off with their shrimp tempura roll - excellently battered and fried - super light and crispy and just an all around perfect shrimp tempura roll. Their spicy crab however.... Not great. As someone who has worked in sushi - they use the lowest grade possible Kanikama which is unfortunate. It was super fishy and had a hard bite to it. I'd probably skip this place in the future - good, no corners cut sushi is so hard to find these days.

Yelp
Took the boys out tonight for some of the best sushi in NYC! Akino (82-80 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373)We went here at around 5PM and the place was very busy for early dinner. I can imagine how busy this place can get during the weekends The sushi was so good and their dinner menu included unlimited sashimi. My sons loved everything from the soup, the rolls, tempura, and sashimi. Go with a big group so you get to try more things. I went mainly for the sashimi salmon and it is out of this world. Great quality fish and fresh. It is where every meal is a journey of flavor and culture. Highly Recommended! #akino #Queens

Yelp
It's one of the few places that's great for takeout. Portions are decent size for the prices for their lunch specials. Nothing too crazy or exotic on their rolls. Pretty standard stuff but definitely a higher quality vs the fast foodie ones. So you're definitely getting your money's worth. Got the Black Dragon which consist of shrimp tempura, spicy kani topped with eel, black tobiko, eel sauce. and also got the 2 roll special Salmon Skin Cucumber Roll and Tuna Avocado Roll. Black Dragon was top notch. Very fresh and filling. The Salon Skin was crispy which was a plus! Some places tend to be chewy and old. Also can't go wrong with the tuna avocado. Would definitely come back. Hopefully get to try their sit in to see if there is any difference.

Yelp
My favorite sushi ayce spot in NYC! I love the ayce style instead of traditional buffet that sits out most of the day. You should try the dragon ball because it's just an interesting thing to try. It's essentially just mushed up salmon rolled into a ball and covered with avocado. Everything else is pretty standard sushi that is fresh. Everything comes out quickly and service is simple. Would recommend if you're looking for an ayce sushi spot!

Yelp
TLDR: all the sushi was amazing and fresh. Also very reasonably priced. Omg. This review is for the AYCE lunch. Soooooo good and I will def be back. I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner! For $26.99 I got an ungodly amount of sushi within the space of 2 hours. Everything was fresh and so so so good as seen in the photos below. They were very prompt with refilling my water lol. I was very pleased that the sushi had minimal rice on the outside. I hate AYCE sushi spots that don't have a good rice to fish ratio. Thats so corny. I will definitely be back for their dinner service with family and friends! I know they will love this sushi spot too!

Yelp
all you can eat Sushi lunch is very small and warm. Chef - stretch it to be thin. server put finger in nostril of nose to carry plate two feet. never in my life will I go back...

Yelp
Christina... again after some time and returning back, she knows how to take care of her guests. To the SAL NYC Circa 2019 crew, came back for a quick bit with a few friends. Please continue to help support this restaurant. I loved hearing that they opened a store in Flushing as well! I just might stop by on my next visit to NY. To go on about food, I'm actually surprised that we weren't able to eat as much as we used to in the past. lol. Disappointed but still satiated with our portions. Food is always on spot. However I do wish we ate more based on the crazy rise in price. If I remember correctly, 2019 times it was $25++ on AYCE. Now it's basics $53.50 per person. Lord have mercy, Being that I'm a long time customer even moving back to Jersey then Texas then Cali, every time I come back, this is my go to. And to be frank, forever will be. Food wise, my go to orders remains the same... loads of sashimi, Kani Salad, Tempuras, Edamame, anddddd heaps of Sirloin with the grilled Onions. The Unagi Sushi is also amazing. I will be upfront and say that the only thing that really fluctuates from time to time is the Squid Sashimi and Mackerel. Otherwise, Salmon and Tuna is always spot on.

Yelp
I tried this place for the first time and wasn't too blown away. The signature rolls were yummy and unique and there was an extensive menu to choose from. I went for the dinner all you can eat option ($42.99 per person) and felt like it was a pretty pricy spot. Our seating area was tucked towards the back by a narrow walkway so the ambiance wasn't as nice as having a seat near the front. However, lobster and snow mountains were unique and the kani salad was delicious!

Yelp
Decided to check out Akino after hearing lots of good things via word of mouth, and can say that it definitely lived up to the hype! The sashimi was decently fresh and high quality for an AYCE place, and I appreciated that the sushi came with both nigiri and sashimi options and that the rice-to-fish ratio of the nigiri was just right such that you didn't fill up too much on rice. The service was attentive, and our orders were delivered quickly. We came on Sunday at 12pm with no reservation, and were able to be seated right away. The space is very clean and casual, and though it initially looked like on the smaller side, there were still a decent number of tables and it didn't feel too crowded. Overall, $44 per person for AYCE on the weekend might feel like a lot, but we were definitely able to get our money's worth and more, so the price was actually very reasonable. They also give a 5% discount if you pay with cash.

Yelp
The food was brought out to us quickly, and the staff checked in to see if we wanted to place orders and for the last call. The staff answered questions and was very friendly, asking how the food was. The restaurant seemed to have multiple sections of seating, larger than it looked from the front. Around 9 PM on a Friday, there were plenty of customers still dining, but it wasn't loud. - Teriyaki Chicken: thinly sliced, a bit dry, nice flavor - Spicy Salmon Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll: love the crispy bits, and I should have ordered more - Tuna Sashimi: didn't taste fishy - Shrimp Tempura: crispy, and I would have ordered more if I had room - Miso Cod: the flavor was amazing - Pork Katsu: thin, but I liked the flavor - Beef Katsu: thin and wasn't particularly juicy, but I liked the flavor - Chicken Udon Stir-Fried: perfect portion size for all-you-can-eat, lots of veggies

Yelp
One of the best Japanese all you can eat spot in Elmhurst ! (I can't think of another )it has becoming more and more pricy but it's just like everything else . I always enjoy my time there whenever I visit . The sushi's are always good and the fish are fresh . Make sure u get the special rolls too because they are all super good ! Volcano roll and dragon roll . Yummmm I can already savor it in my mouth just thinking about it.

Yelp
Akino in Elmhurst is a solid spot for all-you-can-eat sushi. One thing that stands out is the small rice portions, which works to its advantage. The sashimi on top of the sushi pieces are decently sized, making each bite feel more balanced and not overly filling on rice. The quality of the fish is also pretty good for an all-you-can-eat place, making it a satisfying option for sushi lovers.

Yelp
I've walked past Akino for years, and I wish I stopped in sooner before because it's just so good! It's gained a lot of traction due to social media, so it can be quite loud and crowded, but the service is great and welcoming. I made a reservation for Saturday at 7 pm two days in advance and the staff was very accommodating. I arrived at the restaurant before my parents and our server explained to me how their ordering system works, and he was kind enough to explain it again in Chinese for my parents when they arrived later. The sushi itself was delicious, and the fish felt super fresh. The fish to rice ratio was perfect! Honestly, sometimes they gave us more fish than rice for the nigiri and hand rolls, so you're getting what you paid for: the fish! The seating time is two hours long, but the food arrived very timely, so you'd definitely be able to put multiple rounds in and get your fill. The price for AYCE is quite high though, for $42.99 per person for weekend dinner so make sure to come hungry!

Yelp
After seeing countless TikTok videos about this ayce sushi spot, we decided to try it out! A little disappointed to start as the staff did not seem friendly at all! Also service was terrible and pretty slow. The food itself was average. Fish seemed frozen. Rolls were ok not bad. Overall, I probably would not come back here again as the quality was not the best but just mediocre.

Yelp
I remember when this used to a Thai eatery and glad to see a sushi option open up here. Heard good things about it and decided to come here for an early dinner. Surprisingly packed for 4:30pm on a Saturday late afternoon. Tables are tight and spacing isn't the greatest. Understandable as they want to maximize business and patrons. I like that they have the a la carte menu for those who don't want to do buffet. I can't eat like I used to so we opted for a la carte. Food came out quickly with nice presentation. Sushi was good and fresh. I don't mind coming to Elmhurst to have this again but wouldn't go out of my way to dine here. It's decent for families just keep in mind space is tight, including if you sit in the aisle where staff walk back and forth.

Yelp
My Queens friends ALWAYS rave about this spot!! I finally made the trip out and had the opportunity to dine here for my friend's birthday! We made reservations over the phone in advance for a party of 9 at 6 pm. We only had to wait ~10 min for our table to be ready. Very efficient AYCE ordering system, where you write down the number of plates you want for each respective item. We HAD to get their sashimi pieces, which were thinly sliced and very fresh! We DOWNED the platter in 10 min LOL Reasonably priced AYCE prices for lunch + dinner as well, considering their quality. Service is great as well! Only 1-2 bathrooms, which may cause for long lines. Highly recommend if you're in the Elmhurst area, but be sure to make reservations in advance as it's a very popular spot!

Yelp
I did not expect this place to be that good nor have great service, but they are very deserving of 5 stars. We had 2-3 servers taking care of us at any given time. I made reservations the morning of and this place was busy on a random weekday. They have all types of nigiri, sashimi and Asian fusion dishes. Definitely recommend getting any dish with salmon, yellowtail, monthly scallop with ponzu sauce, Phoenix and Blissful rolls. The food comes out quickly. They give you 3-4 ordering sheets of paper to put down everything you would like to order. I saw 4 chefs in the back making the rolls. There was no issue with the +20 food orders we placed. I noticed the yellow tail and salmon were really fresh and buttery. Only complaints about this restaurant are that there was only 1 bathroom and the restaurant is very narrow. But, you're in NY so nothing new. There is free parking in the parking lot. I loved the variety of dishes here and the great service our party received. The restaurant is fairly loud and I didnt see any children here. Definitely recommend coming here if you want some quality sushi and want to try a bunch of different dishes. Also remember to make resys prior to dining here.

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal here the other night. The service was excellent the staff were friendly and attentive. It was pretty busy but the food came out at a nice pace despite that. I really like the rolls we ordered and I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Just to inform they have expanded there restaurant to part of previous restaurant, it is very spacious and modern cozy feel. Much easier to get reservations now.
google avatar

Clarissa C.

Yelp
Went for lunch on a weekday. 25.99 for lunch AYCE, Monday through Thursday! Servers were efficient with taking away empty plates, and the food items, especially hot ones, came incredibly quick. YUM!! The sushi was so fresh, and rolls were delicious! The fish to rice ratio was amazing... so much more fish and very little rice! The avocado salad was so generous with lots of avocado piled on top. BUT, the fried items weren't great, besides the tempura squid. The chicken teriyaki was incredibly dry. Udon noodle soup with seafood was yum and a good palette cleanse! Don't get any roll with "mango". It's just mango sauce on top, not actual mango lol Overall, great bang for your buck, but stick to the sushi and not the fried items!
google avatar

Holly C.

Yelp
The first time I came here the place was a decent size and the sushi was actually great. This is my 2nd time here and they have expanded the place with more seatings which was great. But their quality of food has gone down. This is all you can eat and lunch menu is more limited than dinner menu. Their sashimi cuts are thin and small. The quality of the fish was just okay. Didn't seem to be fresh.
google avatar

Helena C.

Yelp
Amazing, fresh food. Service is good depending which day you go. There is a 1 1/2 hour limit and it starts from the time you sit down.
google avatar

Chira P.

Yelp
We traveled around NJ and NY and visited many sushi places, but this is our favorite spot. Dine at the Akino sushi buffet that fulfilled our family in 3 round orders of sashimi, appetizers, and sushi rolls. All the dishes we got were fresh and delicious--highly recommended to everyone who loves Sushi.
google avatar

Najwa G.

Yelp
Akino, had such high hopes for this place but is AYCE sushi ever really reputable? Albeit the presentation of the sushi is nice and all, is it worth getting food poisoning? Everything aside, everyone that I ate with that day got food poisoning and the "fun" part is we don't even know which item caused it! No thank you, one star for this establishment.
google avatar

Christopher C.

Yelp
Solid AYCE sushi. Definitely more pricey than most, but worth extra money. The quality of the fish is on part with your local sushi shop, which is better than most all you can eat sushi places.
google avatar

Catherine Y.

Yelp
A little pricey for the dinner menu but we had to do it. I like sashimi and don't like to get filled up with all that sushi rice. Also, many of the fish, roll, and appetizer options were not available on the lunch menu. The fish was fresh but could be sliced thicker and their hot appetizers were all really well made. (Minus the beef teriyaki which was really tough and the seafood udon noodle soup that didn't have much flavor) I did notice that their rolls were not packed with rice so maybe the cheaper lunch option could be the way to go next time. I also noticed as we ordered our third round of sashimi, the fish didn't look as good anymore. My suggestion is that if you're ordering sashimi, try to get your entire sashimi order in on the first round.
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
I love this place! Great price for AYCE sushi. I don't eat raw fish but it'd prob be more worth it but I get their specialty rolls and they're all so delicious. Service is ok. They get very busy during dinner time
google avatar

Joann L.

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday night for dinner - we did make a reservation in advance for about 7:30 pm which I recommend because they were extremely packed over the weekend. They have a huge selection of options which I appreciated - the service was fairly fast but I will say the place itself was pretty cramped and tight. Drink are not included in the price and neither is dessert. Their sushi was actually pretty fresh for an AYCE sushi place. My favorite was definitely the salmon sashimi and eel. All the rolls were solid choices as well - the rice was not hard and all the flavors went well together. -Avocado salad: Do not get this; way too much mayo and way too green -Seaweed salad: Delicious and fresh -Kani Salad: Also very fresh and delicious -Shrimp tempura: Very crunchy and delicious -Chicken wing: would pass mid -Salmon and Eel were my favorite for sure Highly recommend checking this place if you are in the area.
google avatar

Shirley W.

Yelp
For AYCE, it's a pretty solid deal since they offer sashimi. However, the quality is just okay. We tried a bunch of rolls and apps, but nothing really stood out. The fish wasn't super fresh and some pieces tasted a little funky. For 2 people with 2 beers and a soda, it ended up coming out to about $130. Definitely make a reservation because it gets super busy for dinner. We were told the wait for 2 was an hour, but luckily it ended up only being 20 minutes at 7:30PM on a Thursday.

Yelp
Estuvo todo bueno y sobre todo muy rápido. El mesero estuvo atento. Son sabores Nuevos pero agradables. El precio es justo.

Yelp
My new favorite all you can eat sushi spot. It's not too difficult to get to off of the R line and they are very accommodating for large groups. The service is also incredibly quick and attentive. We were a group of 5 and just continuously ordered rolls on rolls to share. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and flavorful. They have a good variety of rolls that can satisfy anyone's palate but also lots of appetizers and kitchen items to fall back on. We mainly stuck to the sushi but the one kitchen item that stood out was the eel fried rice, it was deliciously sweet with big chunks of eel. Highly recommend this pot for all you can eat sushi. I can't wait to return here!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow what a great place! Price is very fair for the amount of food they are willing to serve you if you choose all you can eat. The quality of the food is excellent, and service is prompt. Clean restaurant and great quality food. Portions are relatively large, come hungry they will serve you a lot.
google avatar

Le T.

Yelp
Used to love this place a year ago. Quality of sushi has gone down hill over the years. Fish are not fresh. Ayce price has goen up ridiculously high. Ended up charging us a hefty price for 5 people. Servers has bad attitudes as well. Will not be back.

Yelp
I got take out and the portions were amazing!!' Very fresh very yummy sushi rolls were filled the kitchen cooked food was filled. I would 100% return again l!

Yelp
I am quite convinced Akino is unbeatable in this realm. It's my (and my sister's) favorite AYCE sushi spot in Queens (risky claim but probably all of NYC - there, I said it). Its proximity to home and easy access via the train station make it a convenient go-to. In fact, we love Akino so much that we've started measuring the value of other restaurants based on the "Akino Scale" (yes, it's a thing now). Are we getting our Akino worth of sashimi at [insert any sushi restaurant] given [x] price? Would it have been better to just have head to Akino altogether? The sashimi here is fresh, and the value is hard to beat (I mean where else can you gulp down tons of sashimi like there's no tomorrow without any judgement? Part of it might be because they're too busy to judge). The monthly specials are a delightful twist and keep me coming back to see what's new. Recently, they added takoyaki and fried clam to their menu and they're good enough. Sure, bigger pieces of octopus would be nice and it probably won't be the best takoyaki ever, but at this price point, it's hard to complain. One of my unexpected favorites? Their matcha latte. But hold on matcha enthusiasts, warning alert: it's not your traditional matcha but one that's (inarguably) pumped with artificial sugar. But hey, it tastes good! It's like pure dessert in a cup - sweet, creamy, and tastes like matcha ice cream (with a hint of vanilla). My sister, who usually isn't into traditional matcha lattes, loved it. Service has been consistently good. The servers are always super nice and efficient with getting our orders. The initial wait for the first round of orders can be a bit slow, but things speed up quickly after that (they're like ninjas with sushi platters lol). The ambiance is solid. One thing to note is that the tables are quite close to each other, making it feel a bit crowded, but it's a minor inconvenience (think of it as a cozy sushi commune). Tip: pay with cash for a 5% discount :)

Yelp
I seriously come here too often.... They were really kind and were able to hold our table past the time of our reservation even during peak dinner hour so we were really grateful and appreciative of that. like always the sushi is great here, especially the sashimi. My friends all agreed the sashimi is super fresh and a great size. The selection of sashimi is also great. We did get some rolls which I feel like has a great rice to fish ratio. They are pretty small so that gives me room for more. I always leave this place absolutely stuffed.

Yelp
such a lovely restaurant. It was clean little sushi spot & made for such a pleasant experience. Everyone was so attentive, polite, and sweet. It was very busy with lots of different groups of people coming in, but the abundance of servers, bussers, and sushi chefs made everythingrun smoothly. It was our first time coming here and it is definitely not our last. We have recommended it to all of our friends. After having such a pleasurable little date night. We were greeted and seated promptly upon arrival at around 5 PM on a Saturday. Our favorites were Simple: the miso soup, seaweed salad, tempura, shrimp, tempura, sweet potato and tempura broccoli . YUM .. for the sashimi, we ordered tons of salmon, yellowtail, some tuna and white tuna. My Boyf was obsessed with the eel Nigri, or sushi. He had no less than 10 pieces. We loved the salmon dragon balls, which we didn't discover until the last round when we were literally way too full to consume another piece. It was definitely a stand out very unique and we will be back just for that. Can't wait to be back we came from in the city and it was so worth it such a positive experience

Yelp
We always had all you can eat here. Their sashimi is fresh. They serve all the standard sashimi like tuna, salmon, yellow tail, mackarel, etc. The special roll is also excellent plus so many wide selection dishes from hot kitchen. Akino is always busy. So i recommend you to make reservation.

Yelp
My first time and i don't know why i waited so long to try this place. They have a lot of options that other buffets don't have. The place is cozy and staff are very nice. Would definitely come back to try out more items. The tataki and sushi was my favorite!

Yelp
The service is better. The food is good. The sushi rolls don't have a lot of rice which I like. It came pretty quickly. I was craving for for sushi so I went twice in a week. Both times were good. Bring cash. Didn't give 5 stars because they missed one order each visit. But overall better than last time which made me stopped going for 3 years.

Yelp
Great selection. Been here a couple of times and its always a banger. Didn't realize this place is huge as there another room to the far left. I always call ahead and its always accommodating for either big parties or kids with strollers. Each roll is great and service is hella fast. Love the grill section for the kids and the sashimi selection always slaps. Place is a great price for AYCE and the dessert for the kids although has a lot of sugar is always a treat for adults too.

Yelp
Still the best AYCE but the price is now around $50/pp with tip and tax (5% discount if you bring cash though!) All the sashimis we had were amazing, fresh and sirloin beef is still a top fav. Service is fast - they're constantly clearing our tables and picking up our sheet for the next order. Usually still full but if you go at the right time (weeknights for dinner...) there is not a huge wait but would def. make a rezy ahead of time on weekends!

Yelp
A pretty solid AYCE sushi spot! Service was super quick and we got everything that we ordered. Our favorites included any of the tatakis and the salmon sashimi.

Yelp
Food: Best AYCE sushi in NYC. Pretty fresh. Smaller orders of sushi and for a lot of the menu items you can order the specific number of pieces, so you won't have to worry about over ordering. Rotating monthly specials that you can order. This month's special was crab tartare. Service: Great service, very attentive. To place an order you write it down on the on piece of paper they give you. Ambiance: Very busy, especially on weekends. Great for groups as well. Reservations are key, definitely make sure your group is there to be seated.

Yelp
Excellent all you can eat special, comes out to $55 (dinner price) with a 20% tip per person. You can order a la carte as well if you want. Drinks are not included ($5 beers, $11 soju and other assorted drinks like Thai tea) Rice isn't all that great (for sushi). The nigiri are small but doesn't matter much since it's ayce and that's how sushi is supposed to be anyway. They also offer sashimi, various salads (seaweed, Kani, avocado), fried foods, katsu, and special sashimi like tataki. The fish is all great quality. The special rolls have way too much sauce and embellishment as do the salads (ton of mayo on avocado salad for example) Service is great. Avocado salad - too much mayo Seaweed salad - excellent, fresh Kani salad - spicy version isn't spicy. Topped with unnecessary crumbs Gyōza - mid/poor Shrimp tempura - one of the better fried foods but too much breading Chicken wing - mid/poor Yellowtail special - with hot sauce and jalapeño (excellent!!!) great quality fish

Yelp
We have been coming here for years for our all you can eat sushi needs. The food is fresh, large variety and quick. They have a mix of sushi, sashimi, signature rolls and many cooked food options too (noodles, fried rice, meat, Shu mai, salads and soups). They have unique monthly specials that we always like to try. There's something to suit everyone here. Servers are kind, fast and remember our orders (which we've had issues with in the past at other places). The place is not that big but they also have outdoor seating. We've been able to fit larger groups of +6 before, but recommend making a reservation before. Those who I have recommended this AYCE sushi to have all loved it. Will always be back!

Yelp
And back after a few years and not much has changed. Food is decent but the price has definitely gone up. Service was attentive even though it was busy. Ambiance was a bit cramped because the storefront is a tad small. Overall would recommend trying it once but that's it.
