I’ve been here at least 4 times. It’s one of my favorites. Delicious food consistently made. Located at the beautiful JW hotel with stunning waterfront views so you definitely feel a little fancy here. The crispy rice, fried rice, ceviche and all the rolls were delicious. Don’t sleep on the fish dishes either. You can’t go wrong.

The thing that stood out the most were the sauces, especially the spicy green sauce that accompanied the fried calamari. Some unique tastes there. Compared to other Japanese restaurants of this caliber, the food was mediocre at best. The bill came out to 10,000TRY for two people without alcohol. It was not worth the price for Istanbul. The Rock Shrimp here cannot compete with Morimoto's Rock Shrimp.

Akira Back was the best restaurant I visited in Türkiye. From the moment I entered the restaurant until I left, all the staff treated me with kindness, which made me feel good. Looking at the romantic atmosphere and the birthday celebration at the table next to me, I thought I would like to visit again for my anniversary. If you visit when the sun is setting, you can see the sea in front of you, so you can enjoy an even more beautiful view along with the sunset. Most of the food was delicious, but I definitely recommend ordering tuna pizza. Akira Back‘s signature dessert also has a different charm from traditional Turkish desserts, so be sure to order it. The wonderful interior, friendly service, and great food to match provided a special experience during my trip to Türkiye.

Really impressed with the ambience and the cocktails. Everything tasted really good and fresh. Sauces stood out as well. It was also a nice and unique touch how they played with the temperatures of the dishes and mixed cold and hot dishes together.

First of all, my suggestion is to visit this place during afternoon, where you can catch an amazing sunset. We visited AB on Saturday night, it was so calm and not crowded at all. We were welcomed really friendly. We chose the famous Tuna Pizza, Spinach salad, Brother From Another Mother, Red Dragon, Crab Taco, Fried Prawn and Mochi Cake. Tuna Pizza and Spinach Salad is out of this world. Simply amazing and super delicious. Overall, it is nice to try different tastes and have a niche time. Would definetely recommend and come back again.

No.1 Japanese restaurant in istanbul! Cold starters was awesome we loved Tuna pizza and truffle salad, it was very fresh and tasty. Lamb chops super tender and juicy. And their maki rolls was very special. So unique and beautiful, can not compare with other restaurants. Special cocktail seoul garden must try! Their open kitchen was very well arranged and clean. Thank you all the chefs from Akiraback and Mr.Erkan , Melih who take care of our table. Service was very smooth and we felt very comfortable like our home. Definitely we will comeback!!

We had a fantastic food experience this night at Akira Back. Japanese food with a korean twist, interesting and tasty combinations. We were two for dinner - one having Omakase menu and the other 3 dishes a la carte. The Chef accommodated the variety and even provided more in the Omakase dishes for the other person to sample! Each dish has a different taste. The service was impeccable! A special thanks to the chef, very observant and attentive to the client’s like. Highly recommended.

As a guest of JW Marriott, we find this internal restaurant to have an enormous quality Asian fusion kitchen and excellent service. We tried different dishes, and our favorite was the variety of sushi rolls ( especially the chef’s choice). Terrific welcoming service (also as room service), professional and exact. Definitely recommended.
