"Chef Andrae Bopp has been bringing his fresh Mexican fare, inspired by his yearly trips to Oaxaca, to Walla Walla for over two decades. In addition to handmade corn tortillas and bomb tacos, AK’s also has a killer bar program that caters to both the whimsical (with its creative slushie cocktails) and the more serious drinker (with its extensive mezcal program)." - Stephanie Forrer

"For years, French Culinary Institute grad Andrae Bopp was a cult figure on the Walla Walla dining scene, serving first-rate street food from a gas station counter. Now he’s taken over one of the town’s central dining locations, the former home of local hangout Olive. The menu is heavy on the tacos, but also has a Southern accent, featuring shrimp po’ boys, smoked brisket, and Carolina-style pulled pork. There’s breakfast service, including, on Sunday only, Bopp’s legendary beignets." - Matthew Lombardi

I try to stop in whenever I'm in town for the great food. The Tacos Arabes are my favorite by far but all tacos I've tried here are great. Love the atmosphere too.

We had a wonderful night sitting on the patio with our dogs. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. A lot of the menu is a la carte which makes it easy to try different things and share. The drink menu is also fun. The space could have comfier seating and the bathrooms need an upgrade

We ended up here a bit by accident, and I'm actually glad the first place we tried ignored us since it led us here much faster! We had some time to kill before our dinner reservation elsewhere, so we sat at the bar for a quick drink and bite. The service was prompt, and the bartender was super friendly. I ordered a Bloody Mary and was deciding from the many tacos on the menu. There were so many options, and they all sounded amazing! I was with my son, who’s been here before and vouched for how good they were. The bartender recommended the Suadero Brisket taco, so I went with that. It was one of the best tacos I’ve ever had! Instead of shredded brisket with fillers, it was big, flavorful chunks of tender beef, so satisfying! I can’t wait to return for a full meal and try more of the menu. Plus, it’s great that they have Happy Hour every day with lots of tempting lower priced snacks, though I couldn’t resist trying a taco on my first visit.

If you're a taco enthusiast like me, prepare to be amazed at AK's Mercado in Walla Walla. These are seriously some of the best tacos I've ever had the pleasure of tasting! Chef Andrae's magic lies in his ability to transform simple dishes into gourmet experiences. Each taco I tried was a testament to this culinary skill. The menu, though rooted in simplicity, is elevated by these innovative and delicious twists. The meats deserve a special mention. They are smoked with such care and precision that every bite is a flavorful journey. The smokiness is just right, enhancing the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering them. It’s evident that there's a lot of passion and expertise that goes into this process. But what truly sets AK's Mercado apart is the fusion of BBQ and Mexican cuisine. This combination is nothing short of a culinary marriage made in heaven. The bold, smoky flavors of BBQ seamlessly meld with the fresh, vibrant notes of Mexican ingredients, creating a unique and unforgettable dining experience. AK's Mercado is a must-visit for anyone visiting Walla Walla. The gourmet spin on tacos and the perfect blend of BBQ and Mexican cuisine make it a standout culinary destination.

This place was pretty alright. We really enjoyed the fresh made margaritas. The food was enjoyable and the portions were large. Service was good. Based on my experience... overall we really had a good time and didn't leave disappointed.

We had a wonderful lunch today - the Food & Service by Libby was wonderful. We always enjoy the positive atmosphere and fun decor. I usually get the nachos because they have a delicious flavor explosion but today I was feeling the AK’s Burger. It was cooked to perfection and served with fries. Don’t sleep on the caramelized onions and do add the cheese! Phillip enjoyed the Saudero Tacos because they are his favorite! and if you find yourself here and see beignets offered, get them! They are only offered at special times and are AMAZING.

Google
Delicious food. Came on a recommendation, which was worth it. The voodoo fries and brisket taco are amazing. The wings were less of a hit with me, as they are more of a taco sauce coating flavor, but I'd absolutely go back for the fries and tacos.

Google
Brought my ASD non verbal 8yo in to pick up our food. They had a live band and she was terrified. Security was amazing with her. So thankful.. Got home and our gyro was AMAZING. Double meat is enough for my girl and I to share and her again for lunch. Best gyro around! Fries were hot as well.

Kelli H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. That's the main takeaway from here. The flavors were bold, fresh and exactly what I was looking for. My main complaint if you can even call it that is that my husband and I shared the nachos and I was stuffed for over 7 hours. If you could only have one meal a day this place would leave you stuffed!! The nachos were a beautiful and delicious sight. We ordered one tinga taco to try and we both agreed we should have ordered the tacos. They were absolutely amazing and we wouldn't have been so uncomfortably full. You live, you learn! Service was friendly and quick. We would definitely come back.

Yelp
BEST. BRISKET. EVER. Let me say that I'm sentence form: This place has some, if not, THEE BEST brisket I have ever had in my life and it is definitely worth coming here just for it. You can get their suadero brisket beef in tacos, in a burger, or in a torta. I have had them all and recommend either their suadero brisket tacos or burger. You will NOT be disappointed. Their fries and nachos are also massive. Out of all the times I have ordered nachos or fries here, I have had 2-3 other friends with me and we still had plenty of leftover. Their wait staff are also friendly and outgoing. If you have any questions about the menu, they are always helpful and you never feel bad about asking for their recommendation(s). The vibe of this place is a cool hipster gastro pub type place and on weekend nights when they have live music, the vibe is poppin with nearly every table full. When they have live music nights, be prepared to yell across the table or to the person next to you as if you were in a nightclub though because it is incredibly loud. But, I always find this place fun to eat at with friends and LOVE their appetizers and again, suadero brisket tacos.

Suzanne Z.

Yelp
Short rib tacos are the best! Every visit to Walla Walla necessitates a lunch stop at AK Marcados. We prefer to sit outdoors, enjoy the quant town of Walla Walla, and people watch. Price is decent, fast and friendly service. We will be back!

Stacy S.

Yelp
We loved our taco lunch here. There was the yummiest elote corn dish that we shared, and then we each had two different tacos. I loved being able to mix and match. But i couldn't tell you which one was my favorite... that's too hard to decide. On a sustainability note, I'm not sure why alllll the drinks come in plastic when the place has a dishwasher. It's better for the business and the planet to use reusable options. Minus a star for this.

Jason H.

Yelp
The reviews are all over the place - I could see why. The food in my opinion is very good - particularly the suadero (brisket) and the nachos. The nachos may be my favorite nacho platter I've ever had - anywhere. The service is spotty and disorganized. To me this is a classic "scaling up" issue of a restaurant that started in a gas station. The back end of the restaurant is solid - they know how to make the food. The front end is not managed well - very disorganized. Service is slow and the seating was not efficient. My advice to the manager/owner is to hire a good front end person to manage seating and service. It would be a much more successful restaurant.

Nicole D.

Yelp
The ambiance, service, drinks, and food presentation were great, the bummer was that the food was a bit bland and could have benefited from a greater amount of salt, pepper and other spices to really make it all come to life. We had the chori-queso which had a confusing mozzarella base (I at first thought it might be a non-dairy base) and some tacos. For my taste the tacos arabes was the best, the suadero brisket taco was very tender but unfortunately a bit bland, the al pastor was ok, and I wished there had been more spice added to the shrimp batter. I'm not writing this place off just yet but look forward to seeing if this was just a one off night.

Valentino G.

Yelp
Bomb chorizo breakfast burrito. Best brunch item in Walla Walla. Hands down. Great fries. Local lager. English premier league soccer on the TV. Old soul music playing. Perfect Saturday morning out.

Jesse G.

Yelp
This place was so delicious! We sat outside in the covered patio area where we got to see people passing by, which was entertaining. And bonus - unlike several of the places we went to in Walla Walla that seem to forget they have outside areas - the service was prompt and friendly and helpful. We both had the slushie of the day which was a mango/tequila/spice mix which was delicious and well balanced - neither too sweet nor too busy. We shared the nachos which had all sorts of awesome things on them, from pickled onions to a really good salsa. I also got the short rib taco which was tender and juicy - but not too juicy for a taco! If I lived here I would be by all the time!

KAREN P.

Yelp
Cute place,, busy but friendly staff. Excellent tacos, with great toppings. Fish tacos had a great shredded carrot salad and beef had nice pickled red onions. Hearty and delicious

Thom K.

Yelp
Service spectacular Bar tender was great and made an awesome shaken margarita. Had Shrimp and Tinga Tacos delish! Disappointing on the shrimp. And my fault for assuming and not reading the description. The Shrimp was breaded. Sorry, authentico? Nope. Shrimp tacos don't have bread in my nook and based on recommendations of others to come here and what I experienced, wish that item would be reconsidered to be made differently. Breaded says Sysco food products all the way in my book. But to each his own. Possibly the "patron market" doesn't have an issue. I'm a snob. So..... Still tank high and recommend the place. Lots of other items I wish to try , and will be back.

Sandy G.

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would! The coleslaw was so spicy it was inedible and when I told the owner his comment was "we've been making it for 10 years with no complaints", and refused to take off the $2 dish. Fish taco came out cold, service was slow. Won't be going back and I advise you to read the other bad reviews before you go there too. Wish I would have. Apparently other people think the owner is a "jerk".

F G.

Yelp
Should have zero stars option. Last 2 times we have come here the young girls that work there are so rude. The owner is also a jerk. We had a lot people with us both times, spent a lot of money. And the servers treat you like you are an inconvenience to order something. Last night they were clearly understaffed for the amount of people they had there. And so they were mad at the customers for that. If that was our first time there I would have given them the benefit of the doubt that it was a busy and they were overwhelmed but since we had the same experience another time that obviously is just the way the treat people. Won't be returning and will never recommend it to anyone.

Alex M.

Yelp
AK's Mercado is delicious. Peak tourist season on a weekend they can get slammed. On those occasions even takeout can be a bit slow. The staff are generally nice, but can be very busy. The restaurant has a casual feel but fun. I find myself having to shift my perspective on pricing here because there are so many places in town to get delicious cheep tacos and tortas. But they have items other taquerias don't. Check it out for sure, but come with an open mind.

Katia L.

Yelp
Best Tacos in Walla Walla!! Love all their food..messy & delicious! It is worth the 1 hour drive.

Yelp
Took about 5-10 min before anyone talked to us at the hostess stand. Then Waited around 15 min for a table on a Sat around 1pm. The restaurant was busy and felt understaffed. It took around 20 min for our food to arrive - a brisket sandwich and fries, and 2 tacos - 1 cod and 1 short rib. The brisket sandwich was the stand out and so delicious. The fries were great as well. The short rib taco was tasty but a tad too spicy for me, could not eat a second one of these. The cod taco was meh, would not get again. Don't come super hungry because you will get hangry like I did ha.

Yelp
I really like the energy here. Our server was Kennedy. She was friendly and welcoming. I liked her personality. We were welcomed first by Zack . He gives a good first impression. Jacob was nice and helpful too. Where I'm from young people aren't so friendly . Props to them . The atmosphere here is causal . Food prices are average. My burger was tasty . I'd give it a #8 and my friends beef brisket I'd give it a 7 . I didn't get a chance to try their speciality cocktail cause they were out of it. The have plenty of street parking . Fun fact : The story behind Mercado is , he started at a gas station.

Jamie H.

Yelp
First place that we stopped when arriving in Walla Walla. Really cool restaurant set in an old gas station with lots of fun art work, dark wood & plants inside. Nice outdoor seating area too - dogs encouraged! I was hopeful for a really nice crispy/crunchy salad on a hot day & was disappointed that the salad was overdressed. However, the bits of spicy brisket were a nice touch, as were the grape tomatoes. I think this would be a better setting for chips, salsa & tacos. Unfortunately for me, I don't do well with lots of spice, so most of the dishes didn't fit my palate.

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Been here 10 minutes. No communication from server yet. Not impressed. 40 minutes from when we we sat down I got my first drink. The place is empty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS PLACE. Servers seem to think questions are annoying and they are not to be bothered. On a PLUS NOTE the nacho was really good. It's a beautiful downtown with tons of places to eat and enjoy. Stay away from this one.

Lori K.

Yelp
Best tacos. I have been searching for these tacos FOREVER! Fast and friendly service. Will for sure come back when in Walla Walla.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Food is great and full of flavor. People here are over the top at customer service! Highly recommend for a great lunch spot! Try the nachos!

Steve M.

Yelp
I have been to AK Mercado's several times. They are great, and open on Monday. The food is great in the beautiful downtown location.

Tom N.

Yelp
So, this is a new review since Bopp moved to downtown Walla Walla. We ordered 6 wings, three tacos - a fried fish, fried shrimp and a short rib, and an order of Voodoo fries with al pastor. First, the fried fish taco ended up being a grilled taco. The tacos were tasteless... The wings were super salty and just doused in hot sauce (we left three wings - after trying a third one just to see whether the first two were off). No, same taste - salty and sour. The fries were horrendous - again, super salty and filled with what looked like a 1/2 lb of hot peppers... We left 2/3 of the order and did not take any of the food back home with us. The waitstaff did not even bother to correct the error on the fish taco and charged us the entire amount - wow!!!!

Jenna D.

Yelp
I absolutely hate giving under 3-star reviews, but I was just so incredibly disappointed with this place. A friend was SO excited it was a legit restaurant and not in a gas station, the hype was probably too much. Key points: Covered, dog-friendly patio. First come first served. Reservations are only for large parties. They are not serving brunch, despite it being on the website (and having the arguably more enticing menu). Service was fine, if not a bit aloof. I went in already disappointed that there is no brunch. The lunch/dinner menu is kind of heavy, which is not great before a day of wine tasting. In an effort to get something light, I ordered the Caesar salad with brisket. For $19 I was expecting something a bit more....edible? It was so salty I couldn't eat it, nor could my dining partners. It was a regular Ceasar salad, but overdressed and with white (pickled) anchovies and not regular ones. It had cojita, which is more salt, and then the brisket itself was cubed and tossed, and the meat itself was really salty as well. The three of them had gotten sandwiches (the Reuben was standout), so I ate fries instead. The sandwiches were not hot, more like lukewarm, and they were so greasy. Yes, smoked meat, yes I get it...but even the buns were greasy. I was also kind of surprised at the color of the brisket. It was a dull grey, an while it tasted....fine? it just wasn't what I was expecting. I know people loved this place, I know it was a bit of a quirky institution in the past, but I could not in good faith recommend going here. It's really disappointing because it's unique for Walla Walla, but sadly it's just not my jam.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Delish tacos, I recommend ordering 4 or more different types of tacos and sharing with whomever else you're with so you're all able to try them out before you order just one flavor. Also keep in mind they are so stuffed tacos so you'll get full quick. The waitress was nice and it was a busy evening.

Robert H.

Yelp
The brisket taco is really that good. So was the short rib taco. Two tacos made for an excellent lunch. Great service.

Zero' D.

Yelp
What a joke. We knew the place would be very crowded on Cinco de Mayo, but we had eaten there last fall so decided a long wait would be worth it. So we arrived hungry and thirsty for margaritas about 7pm well before the band started. We waited a little while before we could put our name in with the host, who was wandering around the place while people in line tried to figure out their system (they don't seem to take reservations). Good to go! Next we waited about 40 minutes for a table, though we went up to the counter and ordered 2 margaritas to pass the time. Such nice people in line with us. The host then called 3 parties of 2 people and announced we were all "going upstairs to the couch" (instead of a food table) and that we would all need to "make friends". Again, it was Cinco de Mayo, so we didn't really mind because the place was packed and we were ready for a second round of drinks and some food. 2 of the 6 of us thought it was really lame that we were seated in the far back corner and left the couches. A server came by in another 20 minutes and we could see they were busy so ordered another round and our food at the same time. The 2 people with us did the same. About 35 min later, no drinks yet and not another sighting of our own waitress, so we asked another server who was bringing drinks to people all around us if she could check on our order. She said she would but she didn't come back. Another 10 min or so minutes later we flagged down a 3rd server who also said she would check on our order. Again, our own server never came back upstairs though several drinks were being served to groups all around us. After another 10-15 minutes we were getting annoyed so I went downstairs to see what was up. It was very crowded so I asked a bouncer if he could tell me who I could ask about our order. He said to wait a min and he would go see, but then he didn't come back either! So I approached the bar and our original server was nearby and caught my eye. I asked about our order and she gave me a disgusted look and turned on her heel and walked away! At that point I was also disgusted so I just wanted to pay our tab and leave. I went to the front counter and the "host" came over and asked what was up. I told him we'd been waiting well over an hour for our order but our server never even came back with our drinks. He seemed already agitated and yelled "don't you see what's going on here!" The same bouncer appeared at my side and I said "of course I do but we couldn't even get our drinks, much less our food in about an hour & 15." He asked where we were sitting and I told him he had put us upstairs in the back corner on the couches. He told me he'd get our drinks, but after so many people had already told us that I asked when we could get them. I wondered if I should wait there for them. Now he got really mad and told me to just leave! I thought fine, but I asked "don't you want me to clear our tab?" He said "this is my establishment and I don't need you giving me such attitude so just get the hell out!" I couldn't believe it. I went back upstairs (where still the other 2 people sitting next to us had still not received their drinks or food yet either) and announced we were leaving and good luck to them. The second server we had talked to saw us leaving and then told us the first server never put our order in (so why did I get such attitude from the original server when I asked her about it downstairs? You'd think she would have been nice?) and did we want to close our tab. We told her we had been told by the owner to just leave and that he didn't want us to bother with the tab. So we left and will never go back to such a mismanaged restaurant with an owner who clearly doesn't give a crap about his patrons. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in town who do want your business, are respectful, and know how to staff and manage their establishments.

Perilla B.

Yelp
This restaurant came highly recommended at a tasting room. We were excited to try tacos at Walla Walla. Walked in Monday night, the wait to be seated was 20 minutes. We ordered a bunch of tacos - brisket, grilled cod, shrimp, and tinga. The only one we liked were the shrimp tacos. We didn't get the hype about the brisket or the fish tacos. The tacos came lukewarm and had pickled carrots on top. The pickling was too tart, and it overpowered the proteins. The Tinga was quite spicy and the cod cold. We also ordered the wings. They were ok as well. Overall, the experience was quite Meh.

Dee M.

Yelp
Would love to rate the food, but we never got it. The people who were seated after us, their food looked good. When we asked if we could get the drinks we ordered 30minutes ago, the guy who looked like the manager said they were "REALLY FUCKING BUSY" so we left. Then they deleted my review on FB, Instagram. And blocked me. Guess that is one way to make sure they don't get anything but positive feedback.

Eric S.

Yelp
Food is spectacular! At first I thought the $5.50 per taco seemed steep, thinking this would be like other street tacos you might get at other places. So I ordered three. They came absolutely stuffed with meat. It was way more than I needed - but despite only needing two tacos, I was glad I got to try three different types. Each one was great. I will absolutely be back here on another trip through town.

sarah m.

Yelp
You can always count on great food and great drinks. Perfect spot to sit outside with your doggie and people watch.

Nara K.

Yelp
A nice spot to grab something to eat in between wine tasting in downtown. Good food with a fun and casual vibe. I'd come again to try other items on the menu that is more than just a snack. Also, there is a plant shop inside for the plant people!

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Second time here and was...not what I remember. Food and drinks are very pricey, which is to be expected in Walla Walla. Limited happy hour options. Craft cocktails were tasty and food was good but just a little underwhelming. For the price I expected to be on par with similar cuisine and cocktail menu I've had locally. I'm sure I will go again and would recommend, just know what you're getting for the price.

Kuyler L.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant. I've been a fan of Andre since he moved into the farmer's co-op gas station. While I still feel that was a superior dining experience the translation to staple of downtown has been generally solid. The menue is sadly stripped down from its older days but what remains has been unwaveringly appetizing. My rare 5 star rating hangs firmly on the merit of the tacos though the burgers, fries, corn salad, and fried seasonal vegetables (asparagus and I believe zucchini are both a thing) are all scrumptious. The service is fine though longer wairs can happen at busy times. The ambience is rad. I love the comfortable, casual feel of the loft, the main floor, or the patio. I hate being wrong about good taste and I recommend this place to everyone.

Dan K.

Yelp
That was the single worst experience in a restaurant of any kind that I have ever had. We never got our order, or even a second cocktail. When we tried to check on our order for the third time (as we were ignored by our supposed waitress), we were given attitude by the clown who claimed to be the owner, who actually had the nerve to tell us to "get the hell out of here". I would avoid this restaurant. Two hours of our lives that we will never get back. Supposed owner is a jackass. Doesn't deserve to be in a position of serving the public.

Darin R.

Yelp
We were in Walla Walla for one night and knew that we had to eat here. If you don't know the backstory, the chef-owner's first restaurant was a walk-up counter inside a gas station. I love great stories behind the great food. We had already done some wine tasting, so I selected a local beer from their impressive list. My wife had one of the House Slushies. I can't remember the flavor, but she loved it. We started off with an order of the Voodoo Fries. The fries were very tasty, but the ladies that were sitting next to us order the nachos. The nachos looked awesome. I will probably next the nachos next time. We then ordered one brisket taco and one short rib taco. Both were delicious. You can tell that the chef put a lot of thought into the flavors. They were good sized tacos, not little street tacos. I can't wait to come back. The breakfasts look incredible. Can't wait to try it. Enjoy.

Michaele L.

Yelp
The hamburger we had was not good , they globes so much sauce on it that it would not stay on the bun and we had to take it off and eat it that way . The coleslaw was horrible . We couldn't eat it after the first bite . Not worth the 50+++ dollars we spent and the tip on top . The waitress could have cared less . I was a waitress for years and just looking at our plates she have asked us if the food was okay . I tried to call the manager, left my name and phone number. Called back two days later and they were closed. He never returned the phone call . I still have my receipt , and by the way we live in Tri- Cities and go to Walla Walla often . I have never written a review like this but here it is , the truth...

Sari S.

Yelp
I give this place 3 stars for the food. It's okay tacos. Grandma's Kitchen is better. Oddly enough, they don't serve or sell chips, salsa must be asked not automatically served. ODD.

Shane C.

Yelp
The food was very good, but the service was really slow. We enjoyed the ambience and that made the long wait a little better.

Jacob C.

Yelp
When you're here you're family!!!!!!!!!!!! I look forward to every mezcal Monday!!!!!

Devin M.

Yelp
Really great and flavorful food! Obviously Andrae takes great pride in building flavors while being authentic to the dishes he creates. Cocktails were ok, I expected a more diverse cocktail menu focused on mezcal and/or tequila. But the Mezcal Negroni was delicious and a fun twist on the classic.

James C.

Yelp
With all the fancy-ass restaurants in Walla2, this is consistently the best dining experience in town. Fantastic tacos, local beers, margaritas. Definitely an upscale taco joint, but totally worth a visit.

Teresa M.

Yelp
Amazing food, the tacos were great!! Price was great my husband had the gyro that was huge. A Must try

Scott G.

Yelp
Another shining example of the people of Walla Walla. This place does everything right; they make their own tortillas, serve banging drinks and the food is solid. The servers were all hustling and were very personable with bright spirits and great attention. The only knock I have is while I get it you are serving tacos and bowls it would not hurt to have one or two more whiskies available.

Michael D.

Yelp
The food is is as bad as the owner's attitude towards his customers, which he cares nothing about. Worst hamburger I have had in this town. Service is slooooowwww. Food is bad. But the worst thing is the owner. He just adds insult to injury by his miserable existence.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Me and my girlfriends went in last night and we were all so impressed with our experience. We went on Friday night and Cinco De Mayo, and surprisingly they had a band playing who were awesome. The restaurant was packed. We were initially discouraged by the long line, but the hostess was managing everything so well and getting people seated very quickly. She definitely knew what she was doing! We were seated pretty quickly regarding how packed the place was, and our server was super friendly and on top of it. We ordered margaritas and they were AMAZING. You can't miss those margaritas. We had a great time in all aspects. The drinks, service and environment were all amazing. It sucks to see people on here putting so much effort in to write a bad review, the employees were all clearly young in there and they were hauling ass! This is a place you can't miss. Thanks AK Mercado for a fabulous night!

Yelp
My fiancé and I went here for a late lunch yesterday. We both got the brisket and short rib tacos! These were to die for! They had SO much flavor and were a good, hearty size. We also got a cod taco, which was really good too but hard to compare next to the short rib and brisket taco. Being from California, where good tacos are everywhere, these upscale tacos were the BEST tacos I've ever had. We agreed we would come back to Walla Walla JUST for these tacos! They are that good. They make everything in house- from the tortillas to the sauce to the meats.. OMG I couldn't rave about this place enough! Our waitress, Bailey, was super nice and gave us the background story! We hope to see her next time we go back. Thanks for an amazing lunch!!

Yelp
Not sure why this place doesn't have more stars! My partner and I enjoyed a very tasty dinner here. I got 3 tacos--veggie, cod, and shrimp, he got the pastrami sandwich and fries, and we split the Caesar salad with salmon. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. Food came out quickly and the service was friendly. All in all, a great dining experience!

Yelp
I don't understand. The menu is drastically changed. It was obvious as soon as we walked into the place. It smelled more like fish sauce than the familiar low-n-slow barbecue place we knew it to be. There is a review 08/19/23 that says best-brisket-ever. But we were there 08/18/23 looking for that brisket. It's not there. The nachos were weirdly packed with pickled jalepenos, pickled onions, black beans, and cheddar, no signs of meat or southwestern flavors. The wings were pungently reminiscent of tabasco, more vinegar, and sugar. The tacos were ok, but topped with sweet, pickled veggies. I don't understand. The menu is drastically changed. There is no barbecue and no signs of it. Sorry. Really sorry. I wish success for all business owners, but the reviews and current menu aren't matching up.

Yelp
Street tacos are fantastic, and there are many fillings available. They work around food allergies beautifully.
