AMANOR Hotel Chiang Mai

We had a wonderful stay at the Amanor Hotel. The Manor Room was excellent—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The location is also a big plus, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. A special thanks to Thomas for the great tips and recommendations—they really made our stay even better. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again

I cannot adequately express how bad this room was in a supposedly “5 star” hotel. This was a 3 star hotel at best. The room was small, but that’s not the biggest problem. The bathroom was like a fishbowl with floor to ceiling windows to the outside and to the room with a glass enclosed box for the shower. In order to have a semblance of privacy you have to close the shades to the outside windows and the useless glass door to the room. Then there is a curtain outside of the bathroom that you have to pull closed to not be in view of the room. What an unbelievable setup that basically leaves you in a dark windowless room! It’s also dark because the lighting is dim and inadequate. On top of that, it’s impossible to have the lights on in the bathroom without turning on the lights in the bedroom too. There is absolutely nowhere to hang a towel. Not a rod or a hook to be found. There is one very low to the ground drawer for two people so I had to live out of my suitcase, which was in the “closet” that had no door, so the mess was always in view. The slippers were crappy and had open toes, the robes were thin and not plush. There is no full length mirror, I had to look at myself from the neck to my knees only. The nightstand was a tiny round surface which my glasses kept falling off of. The Wi-Fi was basically unusable. Breakfast was just ok but get this—it’s not even inside the hotel. You have to go to the restaurant next door. And if you want to go to the rooftop they showcase in their ads, again, it’s not in the hotel. You have to walk through the restaurant next door where people are eating. Bed was comfortable. Whoever designed this room has clearly never stayed in a hotel. No attention to detail in the housekeeping. They left us without a bathmat so we had to use one of our bath towels and call for more towels. The scale had no batteries which we brought to their attention and it was not fixed. One good thing—location was great. Hilton should be ashamed of themselves for including this hotel in their SLH collection.

Even though the room is spacious (upgraded to suite) it lacks some basic conveniences which should be standard in any hotel room, i.e. no fridge. The fridge provided after the request was not working. Not enough lighting and controls are not in easy location to reach. No bedside table. Room housekeeping can be hit or miss with towels replaced some days and not on other days. Turn down service only left sweet snacks on 1 day. Only four stars for that reason. Staff at the front desk and restaurant are taking care of the customers very well. Special mention about Note who helped us right from the time we arrived till he dropped us back at the airport..

Lovely hotel in a hip area of Chiang Mai. Noon, Peem, Ploy and Pang and the rest of the staff were so friendly and kind, especially as I was under the weather with food poisoning they checked on me, made me custom shakes and assisted with my travel plans. The pool is small but lovely and it was quiet when I was there. The breakfast was 10/10 for me fresh fruit, hot food and a full menu. This is a boutique hotel so room service isn’t 24 hours but they still managed to help me with toiletries and calls at all hours!|I had a suite which was nice to have extra space and a balcony. I booked this place for a quick reset. No plans, just sleep, rest, and chill time. Found it randomly through my credit card site, booked it without doing any research, and somehow landed in a legit five-star experience. The bed? Wild. Out of the 30+ beds I’ve slept in over the past couple years, this one is hands down the best. They have an actual pillow menu. I tried a couple and they were all ridiculously comfortable. I’m seriously thinking about buying one of their pillowcases because I already know I’ll miss it. The staff are lovely, everything’s super easy, and the vibes are calm and clean. They handled laundry, brought food from a great restaurant, kept the water flowing, and everything worked smoothly through a few taps on my phone. If you need an easy and perfect spot to reset, with transportation from the airport, this place is it. No stress. Just comfort.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I loved staying here and was so sad to check out this morning. The rooms are beautiful and so clean. The bed is sooo comfy also. The staff here are so kind and helpful and represent the hotel so well. The rooftop pool and bar area is also stunning.. the view at sunset is gorgeous. Breakfast is 10/10 and probably the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, especially the French toast and salmon bagel. Nimman is also a lovely area to stay in, it has everything you need and is less hectic the old city. I will 10000% be returning to this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be an incredible stay. The experience began right at the airport, where Nate greeted us with the biggest smile, refreshing cool towels, and cold water — such a thoughtful and welcoming touch after a long flight! It immediately set the tone for the warm and genuine hospitality we experienced throughout our visit. Every member of the team was unbelievably friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take great pride in creating memorable experiences. We were also surprised and so grateful for the upgraded room — it was absolutely stunning! Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it made us feel right at home while still being luxurious. The attention to detail and level of comfort were exceptional. From the warm welcome to the daily interactions, everything about this stay exceeded expectations. The staff’s kindness, professionalism, and constant efforts to ensure we had everything we needed truly made a difference. We can’t thank the entire team enough — especially Nate for starting our trip off perfectly. This was an amazing experience from start to finish, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for outstanding service and a stay that goes far beyond the ordinary!

We absolutely loved our stay at Amanor Hotel. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were so warm, kind, and welcoming — it truly made the stay special. The room was beautiful, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were amazing (honestly some of the best sleep we’ve had). The location is perfect, right in the heart of Nimman, making it easy to walk everywhere. We highly recommend Amanor and will definitely be back.
