Do not come here and please read. Concept of money has absolutely turn this place into unethical scammers, and it looks like I am speaking for all the authentic reviewers as I'm skimming through here. (Note: If there's an obvious bipolar of bad reviews and 5 stars, the business is probably giving a discount incentive to people to leave the 5 stars)
Anywho, every step you take these people will charge and when you nicely try to ask them about it, they turn madly defensive and are prepared to fight. They have been so jaded by previous hecklers that they've rehearsed their defense long before you can even finish your question or sentence. We begin our night by looping over and over just to find parking because more than sixty percent of the parking lot was coned off by their valet service. We're talking about a huge parking lot, fit for a Target Superstore... After spending so much time, we gave up and succumb back to the front to valet our car who required $5 upfront. The vendor did not have change and nor did we have anything smaller than a $20 bill, so we had to go a bit back and forth and negotiated to pay afterwards. He was at least nice about it and let us proceed.
We were told cover charge was $10 a head upfront for each of us. Taken aback by the upfront charge, we paid and joined our friends who led the way in seating. As we walked to our seats, it was 10:03 on our phones. We sat at the the very first middle table that you can see walking in, so it was about 15 feet to the register. Our friends told us that they didn't have to pay, so I thought that if I spoke with the gentleman, perhaps he would understand the no-change situation with the valet outside, and they would make an exception since we have arrived but the logistics caused us to punch in right at 10:00 or a minute after. Immediately, this gentleman turned rude defensive and condescended me for even mentioning the notion of an exception. He heard the word "valet" and immediately cut me off to say that's not their company, they have nothing to do with that business and we arrived at 10:00 so we must pay. A quick and odd response overall before I could finish my explanation, so I try to continue with speaking of the scenario and, again he turned from a nice man to a crazy father who was due on his latest teenage children's' respect. Scripted lines, "everyone pays after 10", "valet not our company, nothing to do with us", "you pay, nothing I can do about it". I was obviously heated at this point because I can't even bang any reasonable rational concept into this man since he's been so jaded by previous hecklers. I couldn't even finish a sentence.
Obviously, there was nothing we can do so I said aloud that "this was ridiculous" and regrouped with friends at the table. I was so heated I explained very loudly and yelled so that they could hear that they have scammed us. I announced clearly that they have blocked more than half of the parking lot and so getting free parking would be like walking the farthest rim of a lot of a Walmart to get here PLUS valet don't have change on a Saturday night makes no sense. The waiter eavesdropped my story, so I was glad he came to inquire. He offered a discount on our tab (we're 8 people) since I was "upset". I begin to explain that it wasn't about the money, it was about the principle of what had just happened, but I must have misunderstood his intention because this fellow didn't want to hear our situation either. Either he wanted the dirt or he wanted to offer a "discount" so as civiled people, we would put that percentage back into his tip. Again scripts of, "valet not us" "I give you some discount for you". Since his scripted charm wasn't working, he blurted out that he sat my friends "well beyond 10:00" (It's 10:06 at this point and recall that my friends said that they did not pay) At this point, the audacity of these scammers was out of this world. They've now started to fabricate a lie about my well-after-10 friends , which means I must be a crazy lady that wants a discount well after the cut off time. This unthoughtful remark demonstrates that they're just trying to say anything they can to take your money. I looked at him in the eye with disgust and told him that his remark was a lie and that our friends didn't pay so how is that possible? Caught in his own lie, he blurted/yelled out, "Then why did you come right at 10 then?" Apparently, this was OUR fault. We should've came 30 minutes prior to all the boot camp obstacles to the host stand. He clearly couldn't deceive me and was so upset from me talking to him "like that" and that he's "kicking everyone out". With no remorse and with pleasure, we got up and left this scamming institution.
Do not come here, do not support people with ethics. They will charge group gratuity for 3 people at 20+ percent. We were 8, the bill would've been ridiculous if we hadn't had left. $45 (with valet negotiation) out the pocket before you can even take a seat.
