Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara

The entire hotel complex is amazing. It's like paradise. The rooms (we stayed in a villa) are well furnished, always clean, and spacious. We had our own small pool. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are extra services at the pool and beach area, such as glasses cleaning, aloe vera, etc. I can only recommend it, really top notch! A big thank you to the housekeepers Shakhawat and Jalal, to Mihira and team (beach and pool) and to Marina (reception) and Lamiae (personal host).

Just reminiscing about the magical Anantara Al Baleed Resort here in Salalah – what a truly wonderful, welcoming, and discreet haven! The villas boast stunning private gardens with pools that flow right into the bedroom. Bathtubs big enough for two in the bathrooms, three fantastic restaurants, a pristine beach where dolphins glide by... and top-tier cuisine across the board. Hats off to the director too – word is he's Italian! The ultimate romantic escape from Europe's chilly months. ❤️🏖️

We chose Al Baleed Resort for a truly relaxing holiday, and we returned home completely satisfied. The staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and always willing to help. Both the rooms and the common areas were spotless and impeccably maintained. The food offered a wide variety of choices and was consistently of excellent quality. I also tried the spa for a relaxing massage and found the entire experience very well organized, peaceful, and truly rejuvenating. The massage itself was professionally done and very enjoyable. We especially appreciated the overall sense of tranquility throughout the resort, which made our stay even more special. A special mention goes to Ceelin. When we raised a small point for improvement, she immediately took action to resolve it, making our stay even more enjoyable. Her attentiveness and care truly made a difference. We would gladly return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, and outstanding service.

Had an amazing time at Al Baleed! From check in with Gabor and Leo till check out the service was phenomenal! Our host Lamia was tremendously helpful with all the recommendations!|| We had a two bedroom villa for 4 days! Highly recommend the Asian Restaurant (Mekong) - the sizzling beef from the mains was delicious and the calamari from the appetizers. ||The breakfast spread at Sakalan was very good and service from Syam, Dilan and Yuli was exceptional!||The daily service provided by the cleaning crew was on point! From the moment we stepped into our spacious 2-bedroom pool villa, the level of care and attention from the resort’s housekeeping team helped make our stay truly exceptional. The villa was maintained to pristine standards—spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and refreshed consistently throughout our stay. The staff was very attentive and anything we requested was promptly attended to. ||A shout out to the buggy drivers who picked us up to and from the villa daily. ||And a big thank you to Mr. Selim, Mr. Wesam and Mr. Shanaka for making all the arrangements and all the personalized touches!

This is an exceptional place, i alwaus spend time at the Al Baleed anantara when i am in Salalah. If you've been here then you know :) The breakfast at Sakalan is delicious, with impeccable service from the staff there. The pool and private beach service at Anantara Al-Baleed in Salalah is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you arrive, the experience feels calm, refined, and perfectly curated. What truly sets this pool and beach experience apart is the level of personalized service. Whether it’s arranging refreshments, adjusting sun loungers, or simply checking in with a friendly smile, the team consistently demonstrates professionalism and care. Special mention to Mihira and his colleagues who made the experience extra special. The atmosphere is serene, making it an ideal place to unwind while listening to the waves. I 100% recommend!

Solid 5 star hotel that is dated but excellent all round service. Expect high prices but high quality service and F&B. Breakfast buffet was great and never felt full or crowded, decent selection. Mekong was the best restaurant by far. Beach was huge with strong waves. Lots of choice on the beach but there was a large number of european guests that liked to get up and reserve sun beds. At a 5 star resort this kind of practice shouldn’t be allowed. Pool villa felt old - room key was not working half the time, lot of ants in the bathroom and room service was slow.

Had a lovely time in Anantara. Starting with location which is beyond imagination. High quality, exceptional and friendly staff, area is beautiful, the food is delicious. Exelent spa. Everything is super clean. I recommend this hotel for everyone. Thank you for making my holiday time perfect. Thank you Mihira, Dipen, and the team!

The resort is peaceful and beautifully maintained. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. The private beach and pool areas are never crowded. Parking is easy and right by the entrance. A special thank you to Gábor, the only Hungarian team member, for his warmth, care, and personal attention. He made us feel truly at home. Highly recommended! 🌸
