Al Braciere

Came here for our last night in Rome and was not disappointed, the food the staff the atmosphere is exactly what you want. Dave was our waiter who was lovely made sure everything was up to standards while also bringing the laughs! Definitely recommend this place for your trip in Rome!

We had an amazing dinner at this place! The bucatini alla amatriciana was DELICIOUS! And the bread to eat the remaining sauce was amazing! Dave was really great with his recomandations! He knows his food! We would come back!

Dave is awesome! Fantastic food (I got the lasagna) and well priced! They also had heat lamps which helped keep us warm in the chilly November weather!🙂

Dave was a great host and waiter, funny and great service. Price is great here and the food and drinks are great too. Happy hour between 5-6! They extended it to 6:30 for us

Brilliant food here. We opted for 3 plates as we couldn’t decide and we were not disappointed. Food was lovely and well priced and staff were lovely and friendly, special shout out to our waiter Dave!!

Our Food came really fast. The servers (Dave) made the experience very good. His Humor and the knowledge about the food was on point.

DON'T GO!! Rude, greedy and disrespectful.. Tourist trap! If they are that obsessed over a TIP have a service charge!

We loved the pizza and the pasta. The staff were so nice and welcoming! The patio was also super cute!

Five stars for two reasons: 1). Their seafood pasta was incredible! Tons of fresh seafood cooked perfectly in a tomato based sauce with their homemade picci (I asked for pasta substitution). Literally one of the best seafood pasta I had eaten in Italy. 2) Kind staff! When Rome suddenly poured rain, a family of four ran under Al Bracer's outdoor patio covering. The staff brought out new clean garbage bags and cut arm holes and head holes for the family and got the kids laughing. Seeing this made my heart warm up. Please support this tasty and kind restaurant with your patronage!

Every time I visit Rome, this restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. Great customer service, great food, and great free limoncello!!!

Delicious meal, fast and kind service! Very accommodating! Came back the next day and will eat here again! We had the pasta, tonnarelli cacio y pepe and the bruschetta with salmon the first day. Today pizza! All delish!

What a wonderful place!!! Ask for Maurizio (the owner) and inquire about the special teams of the day!! Wonder homemade home style cooking. The carbonara is outstanding. I promise you will want to find the nearest piece of bread and sop the egg based cream right off the plate. The service and hospitality is absolutely welcoming. The con: you will be full and want to walk off that meal because you will eat all off your plate.

Amazing fresh made pasta, pizza and sauces. We had a private class to make our own pasta and gnocchi from scratch and had so much fun. Eating it all afterwards was by far the best. After one week in Italy it was hands down our best meal! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff.

The best cheesecake in Italy!!!!! A taste of Chicago in Rome. And do not skip the salmon on cream with mushrooms!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! And manager ensured we enjoyed the meal. A MUST AT ROME

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we ate here twice - something we rarely do when there are so many options in an area. Our waiter was lovely (we had him both times), and the food was amazing. The four of us had a variety of dishes from seafood to pizza and it was all great. They have a large menu so you should be able to make everyone in your party happy. The prices are very reasonable. If it's a nice day sit on the patio - it is on a small side street so not too much traffic.

We just finished a fun Pizza making class for the family at Al Braciere! If you have children this is a great experience. Not only was it fun and delicious but also educational. We now know how to make a pizza the "Italian way." We have 3 young children and Maurizio was patient, funny and gracious host. Afterwards we got to eat our own creation outside enjoying the hustle and bustle of Rome. We highly recommend stopping by during your days in Roma!

I was staying in the neighbourhood during my visit to Rome, and thoroughly enjoyed my meals here. It's off the beaten path, so very quiet and not overcrowded with tourists. Great pasta dishes, and very good bruschetta!

It's just okay. The service was very nice but the pizza was average as best. If you're from the states, the bread reminded me of little Caesar's. I didn't try the pasta, but if you want pizza I'd keep walking.

Third full day of being in Rome and we finally hit the most delicious meal jackpot. A MUST! Maurizio, the manager, is very friendly and engaging.

What a great place for having pizza at a reasonable price! Had my favourite gorgonzola with pears and walnuts and pizza rucola. A quick service for a half busy restaurant. Pizza was done to a turn. Was offered tiramisu at the end :) Paid ~20 euro for that set with coke.

Value was excellent, as was service. Definitely try the grilled meats, this appears to be the speciality.

Fantastic experience. Arranged a pizza making experience for the kids through a tour agency, honestly not expecting much. Not only did the kids have a great time (and make delicious pizza), but the servers and owner (manager? Mauricio) were all exceptionally kind, generous and lovely. Dinner wax great and desserts were too. Mauricio was even kind enough to explain how they make the carrot tart. A wonderful night and a short walk to Piazza Nuova.

I love this restaurant. My daughter Olivia and I took a cooking class with the owner Maurizio and he could not have been more helpful or charming. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh from the market. We especially liked the eggplant rolls, the pesto and of course the pizza. We can't wait to come back

We live in Rome and so we know what constitutes good pizza. The pizza here is better than most, and the service is above-average too. We once brought a fussy visiting friend here and they willingly customized her salad exactly the way she wanted it. Good calzone as well. If you eat outdoors, the bells of Chiesa Nuova ring right overhead and it creates a very Italian ambience.
