Al Fahidi Fort

l Fahidi fort & Dubai museum is in same boundary. The location can be accessed via Fahidi metro station (Green Line). In this place you will get the vibe of old historical Dubai. I visited this place in 2016. I loved the place. I roan around the place for sometime for photography. There are some old canons also and also a big model of a Ship for photography.

A not very imposing fort, seen from the outside. Stone walls, not very high, and a few towers, not very impressive either. The fort houses the Dubai museum, but it is currently closed to visitors. So all you can do is walk along the walls trying to see it from as many angles as possible.

The place is good although you can skip it if you are in the other part of the town. When I went here, it was closed as it was under rennovation so I was kind of disappointed but there are some canons outside where you can take pictures. There is a huge area to sit and spend some time. If you get bored, you can walk to Al Seef which is also nearby.

Al Fahidi Fort is one of oldest building and also the region's most famous museum. This area is close to Dubai's other attractions like old dubai wall, museum of illustrations, heritage souq, meena bazar etc.
