Al Fanar

We had a wonderful experience at Al Fanar Emirati Restaurant, and Mani truly made it special. He was extremely polite, attentive, and welcoming, with a genuine smile throughout our visit. He explained the menu clearly, checked on us at the right moments, and made sure everything was perfect. His professionalism and kindness really reflect the authentic Emirati hospitality Al Fanar is known for. Thank you, Mani, for the excellent service — we’ll definitely be back!

The food was incredible — perfectly grilled kebabs, juicy and flavorful, paired with fresh salad, crisp fries, and warm bread. Everything tasted authentic and beautifully presented, just like a true Emirati feast. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, with that warm wooden setting that makes you feel at home. You can tell the team takes real pride in what they serve — everything looked and tasted freshly made. A special shout-out to Sayed, who was genuinely one of the best staff members we’ve met in Dubai. Friendly, attentive, and always smiling — he made sure our table had everything we needed and went the extra mile to make our experience perfect. Highly recommend Al Fanar for anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and truly memorable service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

First time taking our parents to try Emirati food. It was a great experience and really showed the culture and taste of the UAE. The restaurant looks very traditional and has a warm, welcoming vibe. It feels like going back in time. The food was tasty, full of flavour, and nicely presented. I personally love Arabic food, so I really enjoyed it. If you want to see how Emiratis eat and enjoy local culture, you should visit Al Fanar. Highly recommended!

Wow! This is the best food I have had in Dubai so far. The meal tasted and looked like home made and was delicious. The spicing was quite balanced. I went for mutton stew with rice and it was amazing. The service was brilliant. I was looked after by a lovely chap called Mani. Thank you Mani for the recommendation. They have a lot of nice things on the menu, I need to explore them on my next visits.

Amazing food, loved the fish and rice, it was very different. Also enjoyed the lamb and rice so much flavor in everything meat cooked so good. Service was spot on, forgot the name of the name of the waiter but he was very attentive.

Shiva was very nice and kind with me, delivering a great service. The food is really nice, tasty and it comes at your table very quickly. I’ll be back for sure!

“This is a good restaurant with a pleasant Arabian atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious — we had kebab and another Arabian dish (I can’t remember the name), served beautifully on a large tray. What makes it unique is that in the middle of a modern mall, you can still experience a traditional, old-style atmosphere, which feels very different and special. The prices are a bit high, but overall it was a great experience. I definitely recommend it.”
