Al Fanar Seafood Restaurant

I had seafood soup, squid fry, Shrimp Machboos, Mango Paradise and Legaimat. The soup was rich in dal flavor and subtle in taste and was comforting. The squid fry was absolutely amazing. The squid was really fresh and was cooked to perfection. It was soft and not rubbery at all. It was really yummy. The shrimp Machboos was also good. The shrimp were soft and good to eat along with the rice and yogurt. The mango paradise was sweet and tangy. It was good. The Legaimat covered in date syrup was very unique and a really good finish to the meal. I liked all the dishes and they were very satisfying. The service was also very responsive and good. The ambience was amazing with outdoor seating by the waters. Overall a really good experience and a highly worthy visit!

Great local food. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. It has the rustic charm of old Dubai with modern consciences such as free WiFi. Our server was great. Say hi Sudipta if you stop in.

We had a wonderful brunch experience at the restaurant, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was both comfortable and welcoming. Special thanks to Mr. Mahendran, who provided outstanding service throughout our visit. He was attentive and genuinely warm, which made the experience even more enjoyable. His service truly reflects the high standards of the restaurant.

Great decor. Nice location. Distracted staff but when they did get to it, they were good. I get that the restaurant is popular and therefore busy but that cannot explain away bad service . The food was mediocre. Fish seemed fresh though. The rice was cooked well and flavorful. Saving grace was the tangy orange-coloured sauce they provide with the food….deeeeelish. Lentil soup was mid, and shockingly they don’t serve those pita croutons with it. The watermelon juice was just water , without the melon. The mint lime was below average.

One of the best Authentic Emirate food restaurant. I had seabass seafood platter and it was very tasty and delicious. The view at night was amazing and very pleasant ambience. The service was very good. The fish, prawns, fish cash cake, squid and rice everything was will cooked and has very nice flavour and texture. Their deserts and drinks was also very nice. The quantity and quality of food is top notch

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had! The food was absolutely worth it, and the Michelin star speaks for itself. Their signature platter was exceptional, and the sizzling pudding dates were one of the best desserts I’ve ever tasted. Special thanks to Akhilesh for his outstanding assistance—he made the experience even better!
