Al Fanar Seafood Restaurant

A lovely restaurant in the traditional Al Seef area that truly gives you the feeling of old Dubai. After wandering through the historic neighborhood, we came here for a local seafood meal by the creek and were really happy with our choice. We ordered the seafood machboos, which came with two kinds of sauces (I think mango) that had a really delicious flavor. After the meal, we had ferni and mint tea, both of which were excellent. The ferni, flavored with cardamom and saffron, was perfectly sweet and aromatic.

Discovered this restaurant while we were walking on our way to a Japanese restaurant. Attracted by the michelin logo outside of the restaurant and they got it consecutive few years. The foods were nice and fresh! We loved the fish and the sauce, not spicy and tasted like sardine in the can, quite appetising. Calamari frying till just nice and not coating with think flour. The prawn is the simple, but it is fresh and tasty! The restaurant was not crowded even it was around lunch hour. Go try it out!!!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive (Shashank), which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the view was truly impressive, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. Highly recommended!

they have a wide selection of menu, from arabic to western.. we had the signature tray good for 2-3 persons but they offer a pretty big portion and it taste authentic, definitely a reason to come back for.. thanks to bro. akhilesh for recommending the dish and being attentive to our needs.. keep it up guys! ambiance is picture worthy too ❤️

Our server was Mahendran. He gave us suggestions and was always attentive and kind. Food was good! Order seafood biryani. The Al Fanar orange sauce was so good

We loved the desserts!!!!! Pairing them with Karak Tea with Hazelnut is just perfect!!! We had an amazing time and our server Fayaz made sure we had the best experience!

This is such a great find here in Al Seef! Highly recommended! We finished the food til the last bite. No crumbs left. 😁 we will definitely eat here again! :) Fayaz is also very helpful with everything, our dining experience was made extra good because of him. Kudos!! :)
