they have a wide selection of menu, from arabic to western.. we had the signature tray good for 2-3 persons but they offer a pretty big portion and it taste authentic, definitely a reason to come back for.. thanks to bro. akhilesh for recommending the dish and being attentive to our needs.. keep it up guys! ambiance is picture worthy too ❤️

Discovered this restaurant while we were walking on our way to a Japanese restaurant. Attracted by the michelin logo outside of the restaurant and they got it consecutive few years. The foods were nice and fresh! We loved the fish and the sauce, not spicy and tasted like sardine in the can, quite appetising. Calamari frying till just nice and not coating with think flour. The prawn is the simple, but it is fresh and tasty! The restaurant was not crowded even it was around lunch hour. Go try it out!!!

Our server was Mahendran. He gave us suggestions and was always attentive and kind. Food was good! Order seafood biryani. The Al Fanar orange sauce was so good

I’m not even hungry but the food is so amazing that I finished it all. Also, the service is super friendly. Sangita recommended me to the best meal in Dubai ever. Surely will miss this!

Proper cracking spot! We headed into Al Fanar Seafood Restaurant in Dubai and left feeling like we'd stumbled onto a hidden gem. We ordered the Al Fanar Salad, vegetable samboosa, crispy calamari and their large signature tray - and not a single crumb went unappreciated. The fish came out hot enough to warn your fingertips but crisp enough to keep you coming back for "just one more bite." Lightly seasoned but clearly fresh - you can tell they're not cutting corners on ingredients. The samboosa and calamari? Spot on. Fresh, golden, and dangerously moreish. Honestly, it's no surprise they've landed themselves a nod in the Michelin Guide 2025 - well deserved, I'd say. Already planning to bring more family and friends next time, partly because I want to share the food... and partly because it'll give me an excuse to come back sooner.

I ordered the grilled squid. Local seafood place, local spices. I liked the squid, cooked to perfection. Akhilesh my server was quite welcoming and quick with the service. I would like to try their fish dishes, they did look delicious

Tried the Tanoor Tray and it did not disappoint. Our server, Sudipta was extremely nice and explained the dishes well and gave us alternative options for our tray! Food is worth it! Hope to try other trays soon! 🥰

I had a wonderful experience at AL-FANAR RESTAURANT. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor — definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. A special mention to Sudipta, who assisted us with such warmth and professionalism. He made us feel very welcome and ensured the best options to try. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
