Proper cracking spot! We headed into Al Fanar Seafood Restaurant in Dubai and left feeling like we'd stumbled onto a hidden gem. We ordered the Al Fanar Salad, vegetable samboosa, crispy calamari and their large signature tray - and not a single crumb went unappreciated.
The fish came out hot enough to warn your fingertips but crisp enough to keep you coming back for "just one more bite." Lightly seasoned but clearly fresh - you can tell they're not cutting corners on ingredients. The samboosa and calamari? Spot on. Fresh, golden, and dangerously moreish.
Honestly, it's no surprise they've landed themselves a nod in the Michelin Guide 2025 - well deserved, I'd say. Already planning to bring more family and friends next time, partly because I want to share the food... and partly because it'll give me an excuse to come back sooner.
