We ordered a House Calzone, which comes with (according to THEIR menu online), ham, spinach, mushrooms, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. We added Prosciutto. What they sent was a Calzone with Lots of BROCCOLI, Lots of ONIONS, GREEN PEPPERS, SPINACH, PROSCIUTTO, ricotta and mozzarella.
First, I am highly allergic to ONIONS (especially UNCOOKED, which these all were). Second when I took a couple bits it tasted like CRAP. I immediately started to feel the effects of the raw onion and started to get nervous.
Obviously, I stopped eating and began looking through the Calzone and saw what was actually in it. So, I called the store in Jupiter (where it came from) and spoke to the Manager (I use that term lightly) who apologized, but then offered 50% off our next order of Calzone. 50% OFF - AS IF IT WAS 50% MY FAULT THAT THEY SCREWED UP.........AS I FIRST STATED, TOTAL B.S.
Then she said she can make another one (hopefully right) tonight and send it back out..........which means that I can eat 1.5 hour or later, AFTER I had specially ordered it to be at my house at 7:30pm. I don't know to many people that have worked a HARD DAY and are treating yourself to hopefully some good food, to only have it COMPLETELY SPOILED by a Restaurant.
All I wanted was a RE-DO on a different night, without charge and I would make myself (and my wife) something to eat for tonight. BUT OOH NOOO Allie said she can't do that, she can only give us 50% off next (again, trying to figure out where I DID SOMETHING WRONG to be penalized by a Restaurant).
We moved to Jupiter a few months ago and started to use this Restaurant when we wanted take-out.............well thanks to this B.S., I will be looking for another restaurant to meet our needs. It's to bad that the owner of the restaurant can't find a qualified manager to make appropriate decisions!! As I stated, this is TOTAL B.S. and I hope that people will take the time to read this and beware.
Sincerely, Evan Balash
