A Magnificent Retail Destination: Al Ghurair Centre During my stay at the Swissôtel Al Ghurair, I had the pleasure of visiting Al Ghurair Centre, a truly magnificent and expansive shopping mall. As the first modern shopping mall in the Middle East, Al Ghurair Centre holds a significant place in Dubai's history. Established in 1981 in Dubai's Deira district, it has grown to become a premier destination for both locals and tourists, seamlessly blending a rich heritage with contemporary offerings. In 2013, Al Ghurair Centre underwent a significant expansion, enhancing the visitor experience with the addition of 150 new stores, a world-class entertainment center, popular dining concepts, 60,000 square feet of office space, a serviced apartment complex, and a 5-star hotel with direct access to the center. Al Ghurair Centre boasts an impressive array of features, offering a comprehensive experience that extends beyond mere shopping. The mall is home to over 250 retail brands, providing an unparalleled shopping journey with a diverse selection of fashion, electronics, and home goods. Dining is a delight with more than 50 restaurants, including a dedicated Dining District and Food Court, catering to a wide range of culinary preferences, from international cuisine to Middle Eastern delights. For entertainment, Al Ghurair Centre offers a state-of-the-art cinema with 18 screens, perfect for movie enthusiasts. Families can also enjoy attractions like Sparky's, which features an indoor skating rink, a roller coaster, and other exciting activities. Additionally, the mall features a captivating water show with a triple burst jet, adding a touch of spectacle and visual appeal. Al Ghurair Centre is truly a one-stop destination, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai.

I recently visited Al Ghurair Mall and had a genuinely pleasant experience. Although the parking lot was quite crowded at first and it took some time to find a spot, we eventually managed to park. I was expecting the mall itself to be packed, but to my surprise, it wasn't. The layout of the mall is well thought out—shops are neatly arranged, and there's enough space to keep the crowd flowing smoothly, with no congestion in any area. The wide variety of stores and food stalls makes it an excellent spot to visit and enjoy with your family. Overall, it’s a well-maintained and enjoyable place to spend a few hours. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxed family outings

This is one of the oldest Malls of Dubai. A few years back it was redeveloped and turned into a more fashionable and modern mall with much more options of shopping dining and fun. I visited the new food hall which is lovely with many food stalls - which are not easily found in the city.

Al Ghurair Mall is one of Dubai’s older malls, but it still has its own charm. It’s not flashy or overly fancy, which makes it feel more relaxed and down-to-earth. You’ll find casual cafés and restaurants without the luxury hype, and plenty of smaller, independent shops where you can grab stylish items at wallet-friendly prices. Plus, they offer free parking for up to 4 hours, which is a big bonus in the city.

The mall is connected to Swissotel Al Ghurair and Swissotel Living Al Ghurai. I recently visited Al Ghurair Centre in Deira and had a productive experience. The mall offers a variety of shopping options, from fashion to electronics, making it a convenient destination for all my needs. I started by checking out some gadgets at Emax, then proceeded to Daiso to purchase a few items. The convenience of having a money transfer service on-site made sending money a breeze. The mall's welcoming atmosphere and diverse offerings truly made my visit enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to shop, dine, and take care of errands in one place! Nearest metro station is Union Metro Station. 3 minutes walk. Exit 2

It has been years since I visited Ghurair and the vibes are so amazing 😍 Lots of shops to choose from & food options are unlimited 👌🏼 Visited mainly to check out the shop - Zudio. Taking away one star only because parking is a headache 😭
