Al Manakeesh

We had a fantastic experience at this Middle Eastern spot! The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The **manakeesh** was a standout: perfectly baked with just the right balance of herbs, cheese, and spices. Every bite felt like a warm, authentic taste of the Levant. Prices were very affordable, making it easy to enjoy a full meal without overspending. The portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and were happy to explain the menu and offer suggestions. If you're looking for delicious Middle Eastern food in a relaxed, friendly setting, this place is a must-try!

My fiance and I tried out of curiosity and fell in love with the food!! Everything taste so fresh and service is quick. I like being able to watch them make our food. Portions are great and honestly great price, if you're looking for a place to try I recommend this every time

I recently visited Al Manakeesh Middle Eastern Restaurant, and overall it was a really good experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared — everything tasted delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly. The only thing I would mention is that the coffee was a little too sweet for my taste, but that’s just a small detail compared to how much I enjoyed the meal.

Ordered 3 manakeesh and a dessert one. The cheese, pizza, and meat manakeesh were amazing! The dough was soft and just like pastries back home! Was very disappointed howevr with the chocolate/dessert one as i thought it was the one they advertise with pistachio but it turned out to be just plain chocolate with M&Ms on top (didnt even look nice so i dint take a picture of it), didnt feel like anything special. There was only one dessert one on the menu so its not like i ordered the wrong thing? My 3 stars howevr are mainly for the service. The lady at the front desk wasnt nice at all, and i felt like she was about to beat me up if i took any longer ordering the food 😅 the least u would expect is a smile or someone being nice to you as you are ordering and i didnt get that and didnt feel comfortable at all.

The place is definitely a solid 4. The prices may be a bit high, but the food quality is there. They have large selection of creative middle eastern toppings. Overall impressed. Definitely on my list to visit again when I’m in the Neighbourhood.

The dough they use is very soft and slightly charred at the bottom. They have the classic toppings and other creative variations. Definitely a must try in the bridgeview area

Amazing sandwiches on freshly made bread. Their ingredients must be natural and high quality as it’s the only bread I can eat without feeling bloated.

Very nice Palestinian bakery. I loved the decoration you feel like you visited the Middle East. Very nice staff and excellent service. I tried the turkey and cheese kaak was good but I wish they didn’t add to much sauce in it. 20$ for Kaak and tea. Highly recommend it.

We stopped into Manakeesh for a snack. It was pretty busy at the time, so parking was really tight. Inside it also felt kind of tight, but we found stool seating near the window. We ordered a sfeha with tomato, which was basically a small pizza with ground beef and light tomato sauce. It was fairly flavorful and the bread tasted really fresh. You can see them putting pies into the oven, so it's cool for the kids. Pricing was fair and service was decent.

Hands down some of the best manakeesh , pies, pizza and Saj in Bridgeview Little Palestine and Chicagoland in general. Vibrant ambience, friendly staff and prompt service, Jerusalem Ka'ak is heavenly and very filling easily makes two or 3 meals. Keep up the great work.

Newly opened. Beautiful and authentic interior decor. Clean. Ordered the doblex chicken cheese. It was delicious! Homemade bread was so soft! The chicken filling had so much of flavor. The waitstaff was friendly and explained the menu items patiently. Limited menu and specialized in pizza. Must try!

Considering they were very busy on Friday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the service was, how clean the establishment was, and how good the food was. I liked how they have custom order similar to how a Chipotle line is. Also they have a pro Italian Forno (oven) which makes great bread. We tried meat safiha w tomato, zaatar, cheese w zaatar, and egg and cheese. All of them were good. We also had their Spanish lattes which was also really good. I'll be back soon.

Every single manakeesh was a 10/10. I haven't had food this good since Palestine so their name is pretty fitting. The restaurant is a little cramped which is expected due to the hype around the restaurant. The workers made sure to make us comfortable they turned around tables very quickly cleaned them immediately. They also offered mamool and tea while we waited. I would highly recommend the meat and cheese it was my favorite. Overall would visit again and recommend to others

Amazing food, and very authentic Manakeesh " cheese bread" Zatta is a must try, make sure to have an extra sweet cup of tea with extra ment!

It's an over hyped place.. I ordered two different kind of manakeesh pizza and I didn't like either of them. The place is nice and they have beautiful decore. Service is good but overall, maybe it's not for me.

Everything about this place is amazing! The food the ambience, the decor, the service!! Thank you so much!! We came in and were immediately greeted and while we were waiting for our food, one of the workers offered my 3 year old daughter, kids juice and some date cookies! It was so sweet!! My new favorite spot!

Jerusalem bagel is amazing. And the sfeha. So is everything else we have tried. Highly recommend.

I came this morning to have breakfast at Al manakeesh with my toddler , the food was amazing the service 10/10 , place so sparkling and clean , my toddler end up dropping a whole dates cookies pack on the floor by accident and they clean everything right away and I offer to pay for it and they refuse and they offer me to take the rest of the pack home , so sweet of them to handle this matter, thank you a lot for the kindness

What a cute coffee shop and cafe! Very clean and tastefully decorated in beautiful modern Palestinian art. The manakeesh (sort of like pizza without the red sauce) is so delicious and fresh, yogurt, meat, and cheese varieties. Staff are so friendly. Would definitely come back for snack or lunch (I had it for dinner, and it was great!)

Amazing service, very generous with their food which tastes amazing, the place is also very pretty and has a amazing attention to detail in their decor and doesn't sell Israeli products!

I went with my wife and kids and had a good experience, the wife and the kids loved it and we'll definitely be back.
