"“Arabic pizza” is often how manakeesh is described to those not familiar with the dish, and while it’s not completely correct, any cravings you have for pizza are likely to be fulfilled past your expectations at Al Manakeesh. Here, you can get the Palestinian flatbreads with an almost endless choice of toppings, including avocado and halal pepperoni or salami. But traditional is always king, with a simple topping of akawwi cheese and a za’atar spice blend with wild thyme and sumac consistently hitting the spot." - Nylah Iqbal Muhammad

I had an excellent dining experience at Al Manakeesh! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Their manakeesh was baked to perfection with just the right balance of crispiness and softness, bursting with rich toppings. The shawarma was juicy and well-seasoned, while the hummus was smooth and deliciously creamy. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or gathering with friends and family. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and ensured a great experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern flavors with top-notch quality, Al Manakeesh is a must-visit! Highly recommended!

A bit pricey compared to other options in the area. Portions are good sized but service can be a bit slow so you have to be patient. Good dough and toppings. Would recommend eating in store or immediately after you leave as it tastes much better hot. Parking might be a bit tricky right infront of the store.

Very nice Palestinian bakery. I loved the decoration you feel like you visited the Middle East. Very nice staff and excellent service. I tried the turkey and cheese kaak was good but I wish they didn’t add to much sauce in it. 20$ for Kaak and tea. Highly recommend it.

Before heading back to Ohio, we stopped by this beautiful restaurant in Chicago for breakfast. We enjoyed Zaatar, Akawi cheese, Plain Labneh, and meat pie – everything was perfect! We're grateful to the staff, especially the owner who provided us with wax paper. We'll definitely visit again on our next trip to Chicago."

I love this place; each time I go I try something new and never got disappointed. My favorites are: Doublex chicken with cheese and akkawi cheese with Pesto and cherry tomato. I can watch them make my order live and once it’s ready they bring it to me right away. I eat it hot and well done and well served too. Customer service is good and they are very helpful in giving recommendations. The decoration of the restaurant is amazing . They care about every tiny detail to show you Palestine in this small spot at Bridgeview and I will share with you pictures of what I mean. They play nice Palestinian songs too and something I have noticed lately that they accept to have a painting related to Palestine as part of their theme and I believe also to support the Palestinian artists. Whenever I have a day off I bring a new friends with me to show them the Palestinian Vibes. I just love this song place!🫶✌🏽🥰👏🏼

I came to Manakeesh on Eid. It was very busy, and for good reason. The smell of fresh baked dough, tomatoes, and cheese hit us immediately when we walked in. Though it took time to find seats (again, it was Eid, and we had the whole family), it was a great experience once we did. We ordered a few different ones to start off, and ordered more as we went along. The plain cheese flavor was good and shows that they can make good bread (the most important part). The zaatar was fragrant and fresh. The doblex chicken flavor was good aswell. so that says something. I also loved the Manaqeesh with meat with an egg cracked on top. Tasted like home! We got chai from Al-Hamawi next door and it was lovely altogether. My all time favorite was the Akkawi cheese with tomato and pesto, essentially, an Arab Margherita pizza. But better. Stop by, you will definitely love it here. Pair it with any of their citrusy drinks from the fridge or chai from next door.

I had an incredible dining experience at Al Manakeesh. The food was absolutely delicious, with each mankoosha perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The Palestinian ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a Palestinian meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great cultural food. I'll definitely be coming back!

I ordered off UberEats, it look 30+minutes and the food was still fresh. I had no idea what I was getting because there aren't descriptions on all of the dishes. But the food was really good! I got the turkey and cheese bagel and Labaneh with Makdous, which came with olives that I've always hated, but it was still good! Look at that, got me to eat olives. It also had this yogurt spread and the olives were mixed with what seemed to be mushrooms and walnuts. The bread was so soft, airy, and fluffy. I can't wait to try more dishes! The ingredients on the bagel were so fresh, whatever mayo sauce that was on the side, delicious!

Yelp
We stopped into Manakeesh for a snack. It was pretty busy at the time, so parking was really tight. Inside it also felt kind of tight, but we found stool seating near the window. We ordered a sfeha with tomato, which was basically a small pizza with ground beef and light tomato sauce. It was fairly flavorful and the bread tasted really fresh. You can see them putting pies into the oven, so it's cool for the kids. Pricing was fair and service was decent.

Yelp
Hands down some of the best manakeesh , pies, pizza and Saj in Bridgeview Little Palestine and Chicagoland in general. Vibrant ambience, friendly staff and prompt service, Jerusalem Ka'ak is heavenly and very filling easily makes two or 3 meals. Keep up the great work.

Yelp
Newly opened. Beautiful and authentic interior decor. Clean. Ordered the doblex chicken cheese. It was delicious! Homemade bread was so soft! The chicken filling had so much of flavor. The waitstaff was friendly and explained the menu items patiently. Limited menu and specialized in pizza. Must try!

Yelp
Considering they were very busy on Friday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the service was, how clean the establishment was, and how good the food was. I liked how they have custom order similar to how a Chipotle line is. Also they have a pro Italian Forno (oven) which makes great bread. We tried meat safiha w tomato, zaatar, cheese w zaatar, and egg and cheese. All of them were good. We also had their Spanish lattes which was also really good. I'll be back soon.

Yelp
Every single manakeesh was a 10/10. I haven't had food this good since Palestine so their name is pretty fitting. The restaurant is a little cramped which is expected due to the hype around the restaurant. The workers made sure to make us comfortable they turned around tables very quickly cleaned them immediately. They also offered mamool and tea while we waited. I would highly recommend the meat and cheese it was my favorite. Overall would visit again and recommend to others

Yelp
If you're craving a taste of the Middle East, look no further than Al Manakeesh. This cozy spot serves up some of the best Palestinian-style pizza pies you'll ever have. Manakeesh, a staple in Palestinian cuisine, is the star of the show here, and it's done to perfection. The dough is perfectly baked, soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, creating the ideal base for the variety of delicious toppings they offer. Whether you're a fan of the classic za'atar with its earthy thyme and olive oil blend or prefer something heartier like the minced meat with onions and spices, Al Manakeesh has something to satisfy every palate. One of the standout dishes is their cheese manakeesh, which oozes with a blend of traditional Middle Eastern cheeses. The flavors are rich and comforting, bringing a slice of home to those familiar with these tastes and a delightful discovery for newcomers. The atmosphere at Al Manakeesh is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who are more than happy to guide you through the menu. It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. If you're in the mood for something beyond the usual pizza fare and want to explore authentic Palestinian flavors, Al Manakeesh is a must-visit. The delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and reasonable prices make it a true gem. THEY ALSO HAVE EXCELLENT COFFEE!! I tried their Spanish Ice Latte, and it was great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Yelp
It's an over hyped place.. I ordered two different kind of manakeesh pizza and I didn't like either of them. The place is nice and they have beautiful decore. Service is good but overall, maybe it's not for me.

Yelp
Everything about this place is amazing! The food the ambience, the decor, the service!! Thank you so much!! We came in and were immediately greeted and while we were waiting for our food, one of the workers offered my 3 year old daughter, kids juice and some date cookies! It was so sweet!! My new favorite spot!

Yelp
What a cute coffee shop and cafe! Very clean and tastefully decorated in beautiful modern Palestinian art. The manakeesh (sort of like pizza without the red sauce) is so delicious and fresh, yogurt, meat, and cheese varieties. Staff are so friendly. Would definitely come back for snack or lunch (I had it for dinner, and it was great!)

Yelp
Amazing service, very generous with their food which tastes amazing, the place is also very pretty and has a amazing attention to detail in their decor and doesn't sell Israeli products!
