Words do not adequately explain how fabulous this quaint boutique hotel! |Location- 3 ferry stops to Bellagio or Lecco. The ferry stop is located 100 yards from the property. Buy tickets when you board the ferry . This alleviates standing in line in Bellagio. The quieter atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. We hired a driver from the airport in Milan and that was pricey but totally worth the peace and quiet of Verissa.||Hotel staff - caring and doing anything to make your stay enjoyable! No question is too dumb 🤣🤣. Lovely ladies and at your service. They explained the ferry service for us as well as our 4|hour private boat tour of Lake Como🚤||The room - 100% luxury (and I am picky) Nice linens and the view….right on the 💦 water with table and chairs on the balcony. |Breakfast is delivered to your room and presented on the balcony EACH morning. with table|linens and china!||I cannot rave enough about this property. It made our tip A++++,

Stunning hotel and location, super peaceful. Rooms are so lovely, modern but quaint at the same time. Balcony's are lovely and the breakfast in room is delightful. ||The restaurant is lovely, we are so glad we are there, nice bit just for hotel guests. ||Quite remote but nice to get away from the business of bellagio and como etc. ||Right near a bus stop and ferry stop, not too frequent but with the right planning not an issue. ||The hotel staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you. Messages and pre check in information was great

Visited the restaurant for an evening meal, to enjoy the setting and lakeside views. However, lake views were obfuscated for tables for non-residents of the hotel. The food and service was ok, but overall over priced compared to alternatives in the area, considering you couldn’t enjoy the lake views.

If you want to experience Lake Como without the tourist rat race then Al Molo 5 is the perfect base to explore, we couldn’t fault it! Tucked away in a beautiful village right on the lake it was absolute bliss with oodles of luxury built it. We just hope it doesn’t get too well known and we won’t be able to get another booking when we revisit! It’s a real asset to the owner and staff and breakfast on your private balcony overlooking the lake is an experience not to be missed.

Absolutely amazing! The fritti were out of this world - we’ve never had anything like them before. Desserts were delicious too, and the staff was just fantastic. Thank you so much !!! We’ll definitely be back and recommend Al Molo 5 to everyone!

Incredible food and service. We had dinner outside by the lake with gorgeous food and the team were so kind and made our evening the most special of our holiday.

The prices are expensive. The staff are unfriendly to arrogant. The food is mediocre. Cooking preferences are not taken into account, even after requesting them. It seems as though tourists are not very welcome. Overall, unfortunately, a very unpleasant and negative experience. EDIT: I think the owner's reply speaks for itself.

We were encouraged by close proximity from our stay and score on google. What a mistake. Reservation was unable due to no one picking up the phone. So we came 2+1 child from walk in. Only table inside. From very begging we didn’t feel well in this restaurant as we felt that us with kid is not welcome. When we asked for some crayons or paper and pen we heared „no sorry”, first red flag. We ordered Fried Fish for two and what w surprise when we got plate of Sea Food. And the older waiter (might have been owner) couldn’t speak English and he tried to convince us that this is what it is in Italy. So we politely said so you need to change your menu in English as it is misleading. We heard that menu was consulted with Americans so I guess he meant our English is not good enough to judge his menu (funny to hear from person who didn’t spoke English at all - waiter was translating). Starter was decent but lacked of flavour. Taste was flat. Service: artificial smiles, looking all the time when we ate and poor English. And the unnecessary discussion at the end. We wanted to pay but they proposed we don’t have to if we didn’t like it, and I’m glad we didn’t as this was nothing close to nice dinner. Food, service, atmosphere all deserves a 1 star in total.
