This place was such a surprise! My husband was craving fancy Mexican food like he gets back in LA, and he was shocked when he found Al Pastor not too far from my parents' house.
We came in for a late lunch (our stomaches haven't quite adjusted to the time change yet) and we were the only ones there. It was 3pm on a weekday, so not shocking. Their menu has a few solid vegetarian items, and I asked if the Crunchy Cauliflower tacos could be made vegan. "Sure! We just cook them in a cast iron pan, and leave off the chipotle aioli." The fact that they already had a process in place on how to make them vegan was SO reassuring. I went all in and ordered 3.
Guys, they were so good. The cauliflower had so much flavor, I barely needed to add any hot sauce. I could hardly believe I was having delicious cauliflower tacos in Exton, PA, but it's true, it's true!
Sam was equally impressed with this meaty tacos, and especially loved the spicy tuna. The margaritas were strong, and their salsas were super tasty. Prices were comparable to what we'd expect in Los Angeles, which I understand is higher than what people around here are used to. It was worth every penny, though, especially on Taco Tuesday. We received excellent service and would totally come back here. I want to try the cauliflower and potato burrito!
