Incredible service, top notch drinks in a fun, relaxed environment. Perfect for drinks and an app or a full dinner. Will come back frequently. Keep up the great work!! Request Madison as your Server!

Google
In all fairness I visited on a Monday, the waitress was too busy on her phone, like most young people today, the food was sadly tasteless but priced like a good restaurant. Probably the only Mexican restaurant in the US that doesn't offer complimentary chips and salsa. My order was two Coronas ( I had to ask for lime each time), taco dip appetizer, burrito entree (entree came with no sides), total was $38. I left a $5 tip, so all in for $43 for one person. I just hope my review can save someone else from wasting their money and time.

Google
The small menu is a big plus, it shows they focus on quality ingredients, and everything comes out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. The cocktails are fresh and creative, the mixed drinks are excellent, and the beer list is impressive. I really liked the unique tabletops and overall vibe of the place, modern yet relaxed. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It's definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food! Live acoustic music on a Thursday evening was a very nice touch. Gorgeous outdoor seating blocked from the sun. Manager Brinn always makes us feel welcome both at Al Pastor and at the sister restaurant Revival. Aubrey was a fantastic waitress. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos. Thank you!

Google
Loved it. Place indoors or outdoors is great. Excellent location. Ample menu. Tried two dishes enchiladas Rojas were really good. Pork belly tacos were not as I expected and they were fantastic! 🙌💯❤️ I'll go here often.

Google
We had a great time here! Food was fantastic and service was even better. Our server made sure our experience was 10/10 and she did a fabulous job in doing so. Very responsive and welcoming, and also very funny. Definitely an unforgettable dining experience! Her name is Caitlin. I'd say she deserves a raise! Will be recommending to our friends and can't wait to be back soon!

Google
I had an amazing dinner at this local restaurant and couldn’t be more impressed. The food was delicious, and served hot—especially the Al pastor, which was perfectly seasoned. What made the experience even better was our waitress, Caitlin, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and checked in often without being intrusive. I’ll definitely be coming back for both the food and the top-notch service!

Google
We come here regularly we love the fajita pizza and the cauliflower tacos are the best tacos (this is coming from a huge meat eater as well)! The nachos and cocktails are also very good sour only complaint is that they don’t do happy hour outside. I really think they should change this. We would come so much more often if they did happy hour outside.

Yelp
Came for happy hour and trivia night. Make sure to check the schedule because this place gets loud. It was a fun night - thanks Amanda! We got, margaritas ($7 at happy hour), dragon tots (I will dream about these), and cauliflower tacos (hats off to a good vegetarian option!) Pricing is fair, our servers were nice but in a packed house it was slower. But hey were were there for hours for the trivia so no rush here! May be less hectic on another night. Unfortunately the seating was a bit uncomfortable. We were placed at a larger table since our group was 9. The chairs were crammed together, backless and I was directly next to the restrooms. I'd definetly come back with family, as the food was good, but hopefully next time we get a different table!

Yelp
First, The ambiance of the restaurant was super cute, especially sitting outside. There was a movie night going on at the outdoor area in the community. Which also happened to be $6 Margarita Monday. Margaritas were ok, nothing special. We had two & felt they could have been a little stronger. Chips & Queso were decent, I would have again. The Cheesesteak egg rolls were not great, would NOT recommend them. The chicken Fajitas were decently good though. I would come back due to the ambience & atmosphere but not solely based on the food. Next time I'll try the nachos though, because every single table had an order of nachos. Service was ok. Not consistently fast or quality. The table behind us had issues with their check being incorrect.

Yelp
Father's Day Brunch. Reservation made a few weeks prior. Text reminders were nice. Asking to confirm the morning of a bit odd. They open at 11am, so it was strange to see the brunch hours listed at 11:30 and not being handed brunch menus upon arrival, but we asked for them and it was a simple paper menu. The space outside is awesome, but also a tad strange. 3 restaurants combined in one strip. There was a live musician playing near the fountain and another restaurant blaring other music, so it was hard to make out one or the other most of the time. Our server was super nice and offered great service. The place was dead, while the other two placed were fairly full, so I figured I picked the wrong place. I am a fan of Revival so I wanted to give this place a shot. The cocktails were $13-14 and I really enjoyed mine even if it wasn't very strong. My wife tasted zero alcohol in her drink. I had the Huevos Rancheros and it was decent. Eggs (fried) were cooked well and toppings were adequate. Avocado very fresh and green. Handed a few hot sauce options thanks our friendly server. My daughter enjoyed her Tacos De Huevos and my wife enjoyed her steak salad. $95 before tip OK. I can't say I'll be rushing back in the near future. Worth a shot for the outside space and creative cocktails.

Yelp
Okay, so I'm condensing my many visits over the summer into one review. The loaded nachos from the shareable menu is a winner in my book. You can add protein or just leave it as is, which I think is just as filling with the sheer amount of cheese you get. The cocktails are also pretty good, though they're not very strong - which is not a bad thing, especially if you're the designated driver. If you go here, consider the tacos. I personally recommend the pork belly! There was more than enough space and food to go around. If you're looking a restaurant that can accommodate larger parties, this is a great place.

Margo L.

Yelp
We were disappointed in the presentation and quality of the food. The burrito was greasy inside and looked liked it was grilled on the outside, The daddy nachos had some kind of dressing drizzled all over, it did not taste like cheese. Service was ok Food runners made us reach for our food instead of setting at our place Thankfully the margaritas were strong

Hobbs M.

Yelp
The service was very slow . The food was not good at all. The Nachos barely any cheese main ingredients were chips and a lot of jalapeño and pickled onions. Fish tacos had the taste of old fryer oil. The BBQ taco was BBQ bean curds gross. Three visits in one - First/ Last / one only visit Taco Maya in Exton is 100% better / you are better off going there.

Yelp
Overpriced for the service and quality. Mediocre Mexican fare, mediocre cocktails, and mediocre service. Count me out.

Matthew P.

Yelp
Charlotte was my server and she was fantastic. She took great care of me and my family making sure we had everything we needed and when we asked for something she wasted no time bringing it to us. Her attitude was great as she was always sweet and polite.

Yelp
Food was decent (but not great), service was ok, but they bundled in a 3% "CC Processing fee" on my check. Absolute BS. CC fees are a cost of doing business and fall way short of 3%. They're using this to bump up their bottom line. Charge what you need to for your food and be done with it. This kind of shady activity means I won't be back.

T A.

Yelp
Meh at best. Nice location, great waitress, good drinks. The food was not good. The queso had no flavor, chicken meat for the fajitas was not prepared the way fajita meat should be, and they subbed pork belly for the slow roasted pork in the tamales. I ordered the tamales based on what someone else's looked like when we walked in and I was very disappointed. They must have run out and tried to switch it up but what I was served was not what was advertised on the menu. We did let the waitress and the manager know and it was taken off the bill. Would I give them a second chance? Probably not. I get great Mexican food where I live in Florida. Lesson learned: if something is amazing where you live don't try to find it when you travel.

Rodney P.

Yelp
My wife was visiting a friend in the area and decided to pick up two quesadillas for our light dinner. That was a giant mistake. My understanding is that queso means cheese. In this instance, the cheese component was all but forgotten. I really could not believe that this place can charge $11 for a quesadilla that is literally not as good as the one that Taco Bell can serve up for less than $5. Fortunately, we do not live close by, so we will not be tempted to ever visit the establishment again. Frankly pathetic.
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying I have never had a queso that I liked, except for Al Pastor's. I don't know what they do to or put in that melted cheese, but MAN it was the best I've ever had. Our waitress was so nice and gave great recommendations (especially drink recommendations). We got the spicy cucumber margarita and the pomegranate margarita, which I enjoyed because it wasn't too sweet. For food, I ordered the pork belly tacos. I saw on the menu that there were only 2 tacos (pretty standard) in the order, and when it came out it really wasn't that much food (see picture). But it was really tasty and the marinade/sauce was delicious. Excited to come back in warmer weather and enjoy their outdoor seating!
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
The only reason I am giving two stars is because I feel bad for the poor employees working under the embarrassing management there. The "manager" would seat constantly while his staff was running around with minimal help. He also didn't add multiple parties to the wait even though he said he did (including mine). The server was doing the best she could to keep up with his horrible mismanagement of a busy Thursday evening. You need to find quality leaders, rather than someone who sacrifices quality over quantity

Yelp
Covid may have changed the way people are eating but this summer was fabulous. It was the absolute best margarita garden ever and best tacos around.I love following their Instagram because they've got delicious specials and to-go drinks and holiday specials. These tacos and taco bowls were yummy. Not pictures were the nachos which were perfectly spread out and every bite had allthe goodies. Happy to venture out of the city for a yummy meal here. My favorite Mexi style around town

Wallsie 2.

Yelp
The food is okay, we like the guacamole, shrimp tacos, and nachos. The first time we had the birria eggroll, it was delicious. The next time we ordered it, it had a bunch of jalapeno seeds which rendered it way too spicy and inedible for me. After explaining that the seeds made it too spicy, the waitress took it away but did not remove it from the check.

Yelp
Al Pastor is a great Mexican option (while being on the pricier side). The service is great and the atmosphere is really fun, especially when there is outdoor seating. They offer burritos, tacos, Mexican pizzas, and much more... what more could you ask for! Would certainly recommend!

Brad L.

Yelp
not sure why it says "open daily" when it isn't. super disappointing to find out after you drive all the way there...

Maria S.

Yelp
The food was great, especially the guacamole. My son loved the ceviche senorita. They also have the best skinny margaritas. Our waitress, Sydney M, was fantastic - both friendly and attentive.

Christina S.

Yelp
My friend and I came here after a long day. We sat with our dogs outside. The service was slow at first but you could tell that they had just been super busy as there were a lot of tables needing to be cleaned off. We had a good meal, chips and salsa were great. I had the chopped salad with fried cauliflower which was delicious!
google avatar

Diana S.

Yelp
We always wanted to eat in this restaurant strip. It has a great atmosphere. Everyone in the family had fun either eating outside, walking around the strip or in the shops, and also checking out the fountains, ponds, koi fish, and small nature trails. We had a great time together as a family. Some of Al Pastor's food items were disappointing, so that is why we did not give as many stars. We will still return for the ambiance and try out their other restaurants in the strip. The food items that did taste amazing were their tater tots that came with the chicken strips kids meal. They looked house made by the restaurant with yellow potatoes. We could eat 59 orders of just their tots. The kids cheese pizza was also very good. Their margaritas were okay. We would not order them again. I was very disappointed with the mock tail. I had the coconut shrimp taco. Taco was good. Overall, great spot for the atmosphere, but food was okay.

Yelp
I want so badly to like this restaurant. The atmosphere is so cool, with sombreros as lights and just a good vibe. So I'll start with the add'l positives first: the margaritas are really delicious. My husband and I get the regular and the skinny and they are consistently so yummy. The wings are also very good. We get Buffalo, extra crispy. And you can't go wrong with some chips and salsa. But that's hard to mess up. But unfortunately everything else just seems so...mediocre. Anything with chicken on the menu is their smoked chicken. They repurpose the smoked chicken over and over again, in tacos, salad, quesadillas, etc. Makes you wonder if there is just a tub of the stuff in the back that is reheated over and over. I honestly wonder if there is even a grill in the kitchen. It would be nice to have something "made to order." The service is also hit or miss. There is one bartender who is awesome, but the rest of the staff seem to just walk around aimlessly. I think many of them are teenagers and you can feel the lack of professionalism. The place almost doesn't seem like a real restaurant sometimes. I think we'll be back for margs, wings, chips and salsa/guac, but can't recommend for anything else sadly.
google avatar

F L.

Yelp
The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. It was outside dining for us. They did have a duo playing guitar and singing in the courtyard. The service was out of this world- quick friendly and efficient. My wife had the southwestern salad with chicken. She really enjoyed it. I had the fish tacos which were small but really very tasty. Check this place out you won't be disappointed.

Robbi G.

Yelp
Hannah was a great waitress! Food was perfectly cooked and served. The hostess was accommodating and the servers were polite and thorough.

Jimmy T.

Yelp
Mid Gringo food. If you consider Tex-Mex (and a bland version of that) to be Mexican food, then you will love this place. I don't want to use the word appropriation, but if the shoe fits.
google avatar

Amber Y.

Yelp
The best place for margaritas in the area. I always leave Al Pastor in a great mood. The taco salad is also great and placed in a delicious crunchy taco bowl. The nachos are also some of the best I've ever had.
google avatar

Bunny L.

Yelp
Have been going here multiple times because of the great service and tasty food. There is plenty of parking spaces but can get busy on the weekends.
google avatar

Victoriya H.

Yelp
2.5 stars Went there during happy hour. Nice ambiance although not particularly cozy or comfortable. Outside seating is available. Margaritas were diluted and watery. Tried their nachos and Al Pastor tacos. Mediocre, overpriced food with good presentation. Any Mexican joint in Kenneth Square area has much better food for a fraction of price. Service by untrained kids but friendly. Underwhelmed would be a description of experience.

Yelp
Last night my husband and I dined on a whim here via OpenTable. We are all about checking out new places and we're happy we found this place. The place is located on the lower level so I suggest parking up top and walking down. We were quickly greeted by the hostess. When I made a reservation, I chose a high top. However, when we were sat, we were sat at a standard table. We saw that there was open space at the bar so we moved there. The bartenders were great and answered all of our questions. My husband loved the lavender Paloma! He actually had two before switching to the AP Old Fashioned. I had a mojito which was SO good and I also had a house margarita. Definitely loved that they didn't skimp on the alcohol. They have a good selection of specialty cocktails. My husband and I started with the chips and queso as well as the chicken empanadas. The queso was so delicious and had excellent flavor. The chips were AMAZING and so fresh! The chicken empanada was stuffed and flavorful! The sauce that came with it, complimented it well. We then ordered the Pineapple Express wings. The flavor was so good and I loved the diced pineapple on top. My only complaint was that they could have been a bit more crispy. We then ordered the sesame ahi tuna tacos, blackened shrimp tacos, and a side of Mexican rice. The tacos were stuffed and had so much flavor. The rice was rather bland. I felt as if they could have seasoned the rice more and it was a bit on the dry side. Overall, food, drinks, and service was excellent. For 5 drinks and 6 different plates our bill was around $118. I would have liked if the doors would have been shut at some point because it was cool. Even the one bartender and some of the servers had their jackets on. I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Love the patio dining here, lots of outdoor seating! The tacos and quesadillas are all delicious! Would recommend!

Yelp
This place was such a surprise! My husband was craving fancy Mexican food like he gets back in LA, and he was shocked when he found Al Pastor not too far from my parents' house. We came in for a late lunch (our stomaches haven't quite adjusted to the time change yet) and we were the only ones there. It was 3pm on a weekday, so not shocking. Their menu has a few solid vegetarian items, and I asked if the Crunchy Cauliflower tacos could be made vegan. "Sure! We just cook them in a cast iron pan, and leave off the chipotle aioli." The fact that they already had a process in place on how to make them vegan was SO reassuring. I went all in and ordered 3. Guys, they were so good. The cauliflower had so much flavor, I barely needed to add any hot sauce. I could hardly believe I was having delicious cauliflower tacos in Exton, PA, but it's true, it's true! Sam was equally impressed with this meaty tacos, and especially loved the spicy tuna. The margaritas were strong, and their salsas were super tasty. Prices were comparable to what we'd expect in Los Angeles, which I understand is higher than what people around here are used to. It was worth every penny, though, especially on Taco Tuesday. We received excellent service and would totally come back here. I want to try the cauliflower and potato burrito!

Yelp
So glad we found this little hidden gem - especially during covid times. Great drinks and delicious food. They have outdoor seating and heat lamps- and we were still just a little cold so they found us a table almost indoors- just had to close up the large glass doors that made it a perfect evening. Our server was very attentive and patient with our party of 8 celebrating my sons birthday thank you!
google avatar

Eileen S.

Yelp
The food here was good (not exceptional) and the service was good. They have started to add an additional 3% to your bill for credit card use. The explanation is to offset rising food costs. What I don't understand is why the food costs are less if you pay cash. Also, the surcharge was added before they knew our payment method, so check your bill if you pay cash to ensure it gets removed.
google avatar

Josh W.

Yelp
Attentive, polite and quick service. Beautiful set up with the indoor or outdoor seating. Drinks are nothing special but the food was good. The setup is great for kids with the large lawn area for them to go play in while waiting for food. Discovered this place a month ago and have been a few times already. Live music is also great. Tried Suburban (next door) and it was a disaster - will stick with Al Pastor.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
I don't like giving bad reviews but unfortunately the food here is 2 star. Chipotle is better. There are also no dinner options or specials. Dinner is a lunch menu. I had the fish tacos which were unappealing in looks and taste... the fish was dark brown from old oil and then covered in huge hunks of purple slaw that were not edible. I'm talking boulder sized. The tortillas were mealy and old and could barely contain the food. I forced it down since we were on a date and paying for a sitter. The only plus is location and the happy hour specials which run daily 4-6 pm. Everything was served in plastic with paper and our water was served in red plastic cups. Nothing fit the location. But the prices weren't high.

Yelp
It's really sad to see a local establishment go downhill. I've been here a few times and had great service but tonight was a completely opposite story. We ordered drinks at the bar while waiting for our table. We didn't wait long for a table but when we were seated, we waited 10 long minutes and a server never came to our table. I had to find someone to flag down and it just happened to be the manager. He sent a server to our table and we had to ask for water, silverware, and to put in an appetizer. When we finally received our food from food runners, it was not very good at all. We ordered the chicken nachos. The nachos did not have the same robust flavor they usually do. We waited another 15 minutes for the server to ask for our dinner order. Food came, it was okay, nothing to write about. We then didn't see our server for 20 minutes. She finally came around with our to go containers and said she'd bring the check. We waited another 20 minutes for the server to bring the check and she did not come back. We tried to track down a worker and everyone walked away from my friend as he tried to flag someone down. Eventually we tracked down the same manager from before and he had a different server come over and tell us we'd have our check soon. We saw our server standing inside the restaurant and staring at us looking scared. Which was strange because my two friends and I are the most relaxed people. Our server brought the check and had a big excuse for why she was negligent. The manager came over and never apologized or said anything to us. We paid the bill. My friend went to the manager to discuss the poor service issue and the manager was "busy" chatting it up with other people. She explained the poor service we experienced and he said we "seemed happy," which we weren't, we are just empathetic people. The manager offered a gift card. My friend declined, that's how bad the service was. We will not be coming back. If the manager had acknowledged the poor service and provided an explanation, we would have been more empathetic to what could have been going on with the kitchen and staff, but he blew us off. The night we went was 4/22/2022. I don't recommend eating here. There are other Mexican food restaurants or even bette restaurants in the shopping center.

sara s.

Yelp
Just ate here for the first time and will definitely be back. I had the cauliflower tacos which were seriously good. The house made chips and salsa also delicious. My daughter had a cheese quesadilla which she enjoyed and she can be picky.
google avatar

Melissa K.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! It's affordable and fun. They have delicious tacos and quesadillas. The atmosphere is relaxing and their food is really good. The staff is very nice. The only negative I have about this place are that the hostesses are never dressed professionally. Every time we've been here they have their stomach showing. Other than that we've been here twice in a week :)
google avatar

Karly S.

Yelp
There is a lot of potential for this place given the location, outdoor seating, and live music on weekends. But... the food options just miss the mark. Chips, salsa, and queso were all average at best. The coconut shrimp tacos contained hardly any shrimp and were mostly stuffed with cabbage-definitely have had better tacos other places. The pizza and margaritas are the only decent highlights from my meal, as well as past occasions when I have dined at Al Pastor.
google avatar

Jaime B.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to go for tacos! Very family friendly, love the environment and the food! It is close to home, which we like and the location is just fun - twinkle lights, live music often, a fountain, etc. Our kids really enjoy this spot and so do we :) The spicy margarita is hit or miss but when it is good, it is really good! We have had excellent service every time we have been in too - definitely a family favorite for us!

Beth M.

Yelp
The food was fresh and delicious and presentation was beautiful. Our server, Faith, was delightful and thoughtful. We can't wait to go back!

Kristie H.

Yelp
Still not good! I have some colleagues and friends that like coming here so I I have been tagging along but would not voluntarily come here and seriously considering never joining them again after today. Was there for lunch and the main dish I had was just awful. Tasted bad and looked bad. I should have sent it back but didn't want to make a scene. Not sure how you can mess up a burrito bowl but they did.
google avatar

Debbie O.

Yelp
Fun place for drinks but over priced food! The burritos had cabbage in them with no rice and beans. They were horrible! Tacos are good but very small and overpriced. There are so many authentic Mexican food around!

KellyAnn P.

Yelp
Excellent food everytime, fresh, clean cooked products everytime! Friendly service, relaxing ambiance!

Makayla M.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times, had delivery, and take out. They are always consistent, delicious, and work quickly. I love their Street Tacos and Queso!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG.... its like Twilight zone!!! Its like they changed management or something went haywire..... Food SUCKS like super bad bad Drinks are like drinking toilet water Took a bunch of friends there and they were soooo disgusted and I was soooooooo embarrassed!!!! Im sooo sad - I loved this spot Chips and salsa and tacos and margaritas and flat breads WERE the best - Bummed they lost their way - I hope they find it......... soon

Yelp
We have been waiting for Al Pastor and the other new Eagleview Town Center restaurants to open since constructed started so we live right there and we were not disappointed. The ambience is urban chic with a touch of hipster. For opening weekend, it seemed very cohesive and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The tortilla tomato soup defied expectations and was hearty flavorful and unique. My boyfriend is not much of a soup person and he basically slurped up every last drop and said it was "life changing". The carne asada tacos were good and my boyfriend really enjoyed the pork skirt steak which he was admittedly skeptical about. Of course you have to judge a Mexican restaurant by the guacamole and it was amazing and get this -- FREE REFILLS on the guac (take that Chipotle) Justin, the owner, made sure to greet all the guests and was very genuine and personable. He seemed very open to our thoughts and suggestions. We wish them luck and excited to see how it evolves!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch while I was in town and being Taco Tuesday, was able to sample three tacos. The cauliflower taco? Unbelievable!!!! Great space, open air, outside seating galore, wonderful staff and delicious food. This is my spot in Exton! I'm eating here every time I'm in town and I might go back tonight. I am not a 5 star guy, but everything I experienced for a lunch visit was every bit of 5 stars. Plus the hostess complimented my eyes, so that helps.

Yelp
We stopped going to Al Pastor after one of their managers left and the food and drinks were disappointing. Decided to try it again after a year or two, and everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Not sure if it's under new management or they hired great cooks, but we will definitely frequent them from now on.
