Small Hole in the wall This place was super clean and the staff was friendly and informative. It's Cash Only !! But they have an ATM inside. I got the Half chicken plate with red rice and macaroni salad ...it was Delicious. I Highly Recommend You Try This Place.

Delightful spot for lunch time. Obviously, they serve chicken. But It’s fantastic. The beans are excellent from scratch as well. The patio is very cute too. 10/10

Chicken by itself needs a little bit of flavor but.. With all the sides and the salsa and onions and the chilies and everything makes it bomb.

Decided to switch it up from the usual chicken spot and I prefer this one. Closer, small but nice selection of sides. Really liked their macaroni salad and their nopales. I ordered the #3 extra sides and paid about $44. Definitely 👍 thumbs up the butt! Ill be back!

Was looking on Yelp for a good place to get pollo asado al carbon and this popped up . Had to say while the neighborhood is not the beat the chicken here is of the hook. I order two chicken, rice beans, potato salad and ensalada de nopales . The chicken was nice and juicy with a great taste . Every bite was delicious . The sides were just as good as the chicken which is really rare in establishments now a days . The salsa is hot so be warned !

Me and my dad have been coming here for years! Literally the BEST chicken in Compton hands down from the flavorful chicken, rice, beans to the delicious spicy salsa they make! I always have to have 2 just in case!! Apart from the food being great its always the same people working and they always give good service! Theres indoor and outdoor seating and you can smell the chicken a mile away! Dont underestimate small restaurants they usually serve the best food! Id come eat here over fast food any day because nothing here gives fast food vibes everything is so fresh! Loyal customer

The place is simple and straightforward. It's family owned and they treat you like family. The food was delicious. My wife and I are always on the lookout for a good pollo asado al carbon (chicken grilled over coals). Al Pollo did not disappoint. The seasoning was perfect and the chicken was juicy, tender and crisp. We had the family meal with 2 Pollos, tortillas, beans rice and potato salad. We'll be back soon!

My family and I have been coming to this place for years now and it's a must go when we are in Compton . The chicken tastes delicious, the workers are quick, and their salsa is the cherry on top!

After work I made a quick stop here and got combo #5 which comes with 2 whole chickens plus 2 salads (I selected both salads Nopales) and in addition it comes with rice and beans. Plus, 12 corn tortillas. Everything, was delicious! oh and you get two cups of salsa, as well.

This place is SOOO good. The chicken is tasty, roasted to perfection. Their macaroni salad goes great with the chicken or agarra las tortillas!

You can easily miss this place if u weren't looking. we were driving by looking for something to eat and thankfully I have a husband with great vision who saw the pollos asados specials advertisement board attached to the roof of a truck parked across the street from the restaurant. We stopped by and I'm so glad we did. We got a half chicken meal that comes with half a grilled chicken, rice, whole beans, grilled onions and serranos along with corn tortillas and salsa. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our meal was extremely enjoyable. The salsa is flavorful and spicy but only mildly by our standards, and it compliments the chicken meal Really well. We will definitely be returning soon.

Great place to get grilled chicken. The taste is great the meat is so juicy,tender, and super tasty. The salsa they give you with your chicken is pure I am in Anaheim but I do not mind driving to this place because I know the food is worth the drive. That's how good the food is here.

I put an order online for a pick-up with this store and paid 29.33. I received an email saying this order is canceled, but they charged my account. Likewise, I called the store, and they said they were out of food and that the money will be in my account in 7-10 business days. I waited and didn't get anything refunded. Called the store back and spoke to the general manager, he was rude, he wouldn't give me the corporate number to resolve this matter and was talking like this didn't happen, saying that his staff is not trained to say there is no more food. I call back and got an employee to give me the corporate number. Call corporate, and they put in a complaint, so I can be refunded my money. I received an email from Kevin Garcia asking for the order number, I emailed it back. Still! no refunded! I had to call back corporate for my refund, now it's pending again. This is the worst customer service experience for this company. It's been 3 weeks and this is not resolved. At this point, it's just a fraud to charge a person's account and not provide the requested order. Be careful this el pollo is not trustworthy for their business.

I was really looking forward to the chicken and while it was good, much better than pollo loco. You could tell it was not fresh. They people were nice plenty of food, good salsa. I will come back.

This tiny place with big flavor. Chicken is grilled perfectly. Forget about pollo loco. Absolutely love it. I drive out of my way for it. Perfect seasoning and very economic. The only downside is parking. It can be challenging. Other than that worth the trouble.

The chicken here is sooooo delicious! It's so tasty, well seasoned. I live more than 20miles away, but when I'm in the area, I will always stop here and pick-up an order or two to go. I've also ordered for family gatherings (10+ chickens) and everyone loves it! The side dishes are good to... macaroni salad, beans, rice, guac, and salsa... all very good! I only wish they were closer to me!

Driving by I smelled grilled chicken and thought I'd give it a try. The lady behind the counter promised I'd be back and she is right. This is delicious! They only do chicken and they do it right. The beans and rice are the real deal. And the salsa compliments the grilled chicken perfectly.

Super delicious chicken, Al pastor. Fresh guacamole and salsa. Just happened to be in an unfamiliar area and we were welcomed with great food and fantastic service. Quite a ways from home, but these foodies will be back!!!!

Read the yelp reviews and decided to check it out ordered a chicken plate with rice and beans chicken was OK nothing special or different a bit on the salty side but OK beans were really salty rice was not the greatest can't really mess up rice though can you? Wouldn't recommend it but if your in the area and hungry it gets the job done lol

This is probably one of my favorite chicken places in Compton. The chicken gets me in the door and the customer service gets me to stay! It's a cozy place and seems family owned which is a plus. Their asada tacos are out of this world too especially with the homemade salsa they make. Definitely will be back for

Fresh chicken asado! Tastes great! I always order the chicken to go and make rice and beans at home ... Makes a quick and easy meal for my family . No need to make salsa because there salsa is great too!
