The beef tartare was light and beautifully balanced, showcasing refined flavors with just the right touch of seasoning. The ravioli with cheese was a wonderful surprise—delicate, rich, and expertly crafted. And the tiramisu? Absolutely amazing! A perfect harmony of creaminess, coffee, and cocoa, making for a divine ending to the meal. The atmosphere and service only elevated the experience further. Amazing lunch experience that was served by owner/operator. Most everything was locally sourced from the food to the wine. The food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. I hope a return trip is in my future.

Very nice location in Castelnuovo Garfagnana. We had lunch and tried beef and tagliatelle with mushrooms. Everything was very good, great job.

Made a mistake by ordering a beef dish. Not the fault of the chef. All the dishes were okay but we expected more flavour and more care in the preparation. Wine selection was promising but our first choice of a locally produced wine was not available. There are better value options in this beautiful part of Tuscany.

My wife and I were in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana in early November. It was our second or third day in Italy, and after walking around town for a while, we were quite hungry and tired. We showed up nearly 40 minutes early, but the gentleman who was there let us in anyway and served us drinks. When they officially opened he came over and took our order. A short time later, we had our food. My wife got a gnocchi that...well, lets say we have been searching for anything remotely like it since and have had no luck. And that includes some pretty expensive restaurants. Incredibility good food. In fact, we stayed in Italy for two weeks after we were there, and this was the best food, the best meal overall, we had the entire time!

Waited for ever whilst waiters walked past us numerous times befor they acknowledged us. Once seated we was served by a very friendly waitress she tried her best to speak English and helped us with the menu. The restaurant was not full but the food took ages to arrive. Focaccia was lovely ! risotto is just rice pudding with out the sugar. Steak was huge and very tasty but only came with a few potatoes Fried chicken was delicious however came with a dollop of mayonnaise and a spoon full of caramelised onions that was it!(couldn’t order any Other sides) I will no be returning to this restaurant as I feel it was over priced and does no show this region off in a good light
