Roasting on Morris Avenue since 1907, this tiny shop keeps a Birmingham tradition crackling with antique roasters, inventive boiled flavors, and local pride. A favorite stop near the cobblestones—history you can snack on.

Alabama Peanut Company is an absolute gem! We tried the double boiled peanut flight and couldn’t resist adding a fourth flavor for just a few bucks more. Every flavor was spot on. The original salt was classic and comforting, Cajun had the perfect kick, 1907 was rich and savory, and the pineapple lava brought a surprisingly sweet heat we loved. The lady helping us was fantastic. She was super friendly and took plenty of time to chat with us about drink options, which was especially helpful since my wife isn’t big on beer. She offered great suggestions and really made us feel welcome. A fun, flavorful, and genuinely enjoyable experience all around!

Google
The one boiled peanut place I've ever visited that allows you to self-sample the brines so that you can make an informed decision. Ridiculously delicious, top-tier nuts. THE perfect vegan option for road-trip snacking.

Google
What a surprise for a returning long time customer. I walked in wondering if they would take a credit card and I was floored. I guess that gives away how long it’s been. I was floored to see not only did they take a cc but they had numerous beers on tap as well as boiled peanuts and of course roasted as well. I think four flavors of each! Service was great and bartenders were all very friendly. Urban Cowgill May 2025

A friend wanted some boiled peanuts and we sought out this place and was pleasantly surprised by their variety and was able to get a gallon of peanuts to freeze for later.

Google
This was my first time trying boiled peanuts and wasn't sure what to expect. They were delicious. Similar to eating edamame but with more flavor due to the marinades they are cooked in. I loved the Cajun seasoning paired with a spicy pickle monster beer. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Gave me a sample first and a quick rundown about the history of the facility. Would highly recommend.

Google
unique store that sells boiled peanuts (different flavors) as well as roasted peanuts. I tried the 3 boiled peanuts sampler. It's on a unique street that invites people to support small businesses. They also sell beer and soda. I loved the ginger ale with a southern spice. Will return. I came via the Birmingham Historic Touring Company on their highlights tour and this was one of the many gems I experienced.

Google
The best boiled peanuts I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back and will be trying the fun flavors next time!!

Google
What a very cool spot! It feels like you’re stepping back in time walking into the shop. Various flavors of boiled and roasted peanuts. They had ranch, Greek, Cajun and salted boiling peanuts yesterday. Not sure about the roasted ones. Loved that they had a sampler flight which allowed me to try multiple kinds. Nice selection of craft beers and sodas to go along with it. My server, Chris was so peppy and kind. He made the experience that much better. He deserves a raise! Definitely make this a stop if you are in the area.

Yelp
Shell Yeah! Alabama Peanut is a little bit nutty and a little bit hoppy. Alabama Peanut, also known as The Peanut Depot for those of us who grew up in B'ham is a fun stop in downtown on historic Morris Avenue. It's been awhile since I visited, but was pleasantly pleased to see that they now have a bar and stay open until 7 pm. When you walk in the door, the smell of roasting peanuts will mesmerize you and pull you in!! We love their unsalted dark roast.

Yelp
What an awesome experience at a historic old peanut factory. The building is located in downtown Birmingham and was founded in 1907! My family wanted boiled peanuts and we drove for a few hours just so we could get experience boiled peanuts and roasted peanuts. Everything was excellent - the service was friendly and quite accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and this is a great place to hang out and grab a drink if you want to enjoy one while you eat some peanuts. The store also has some great merchandise for sale. Check them out online or in person downtown Birmingham. The building and area of downtown Birmingham are historic and include cobblestone streets out front. The historic facade of the building is an architectural stunner if you enjoy period building from the early 1900s. Inside, a stunning iron spiral staircase can be viewed, alongside the antique steaming vats and boilers which help create the delicious aromas and tasty peanut products for which this place is known!

Yelp
I see my friends coming here all the time and was finally able to try it this past weekend! I came with my friend Victoria. They have a bar here too, but I didn't drink. I like that it's a place you can just go to with friends and hang out and not have to drink or order a full on meal if you aren't super hungry. I ordered a snack size portion of the dill flavored boiled peanuts. They were delicious! I can't wait to come back and try other flavors they have to offer! Service was great too with both workers checking on us pretty frequently!

Yelp
Great stop on a short stay over! I'm not from Alabama, so I didn't even know this was a thing! I walked in and discovered what I was missing. The service was great. They told me all about the different kinds of tasty boiled peanuts. You can even taste local beers! I loved it! Great surroundings in the downtown area. If you love peanuts and craft beer, this is a great place to visit!

Yelp
This is one of my fav spots in town! I absolutely love coming here for some delicious boiled peanuts. My fav flavor is the kitchen sink. So good!!! Lots of different flavor combinations. The staff is amazing and so cool. I like sitting at the bar area. They take your peanut and drink order right there! It's so easy and chill. I highly recommend coming here because why not?! It's always funny when the Morris Ave birds make their way inside the building. Apparently, they love the peanuts as much as I do!!!

Yelp
Back in the day this was just a tiny hole in the wall called Peanut Depot. You'd go in and get a bag of peanuts and leave and that was it. It was cool because it was simple, easy, and you could get freshly roasted peanuts for pretty cheap. What a niche! Over time things can change, and it can be tricky when things change about long standing, niche spots that you may or may not remember from your childhood. The new owners nailed it with the changes they made to the old Peanut Depot. Everything that was there before is still there. The old vintage (cast iron?) roasters from back in the day, the quick and easy service, the good prices, the spicy Cajun roasted peanuts...all still there. Outstanding. And...on top of those things the new additions to the space have turned this into something that's actually much cooler with a whole new vibe. For one, they have a new name, The Alabama Peanut Company. They've added boiled peanuts in a variety of flavors, including some rare local flavor collabs with other businesses. They've added a bar with some seating and a good number of beverage options. They've got some branded merch for all who yearn to express their devotion to the peanut. The whole place has become much more than just a spot to pick up a bag of peanuts and I, for one, think that's awesome. If you're in the area you should definitely stop in and check out the space and take home some freshly roasted, (or boiled) goodness. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
Wow! I wish I knew how great this place was sooner. I walked into the neatest shop filled with the smell of fresh boiled and roasted peanuts! They boil the peanuts right in front of you. I got garlic dill pickle and cubano and my boyfriend tried a pickled beer and it was tasty! These peanuts had amazing flavor! The service was amazing and fast. We sat right at the bar. TONS of beer selection and the music was on point! Oldie and goodie country tunes! Someone needs to have them at their next event! If you like spicy, they have strawberry Cajun and others!

Yelp
Great flavors and atmosphere! We usually get our boiled peanuts from their stand at the farmers market but today we got the opportunity to go to the brick and mortar store. The service is great! The flavors are out of this world!

Yelp
This is a must visit for everyone! Whitney's enthusiasm and love for the product are contagious. History at its finest. Order a flight, a soda or beer and enjoy! Don't forget to grab some for home. If you don't, you will regret it and have to make a second trip!!!!

Yelp
I like boiled peanuts, but I LOVE Alabama Peanut's boiled peanuts! There is so much flavor in these little nuggets. We stopped by early in the day, so it was a little quiet at the bar, but there was still a steady stream of people popping in to get peanuts to go. The staff was accommodating, patiently answering the litany of questions from us. We were heading to the airport, and they were good about packaging our to-go peanuts for travel. We ended up sharing our peanuts with our flight attendants on our last leg, so we need to come back and get more.

Yelp
Came here late morning on a Wednesday, even with it being a holiday the crowd was very light, plenty of seats available. I'd surprisingly never tried boiled peanuts before, and this place immediately jumped out as a spot I needed to visit during my Birmingham visit. The staff were super friendly, I had a nice time chatting with a few of them while I was there. I really liked that they had a flight option so I could try a few different flavors. I tried the salted, Greek, and buffalo ranch, all of them were yummy, but the classic salted was the clear favorite for me. They seem to rotate flavors around pretty often, so I could totally imagine myself being a regular here if an equivalent were in my hometown They've also got some roasted peanuts and plenty of drink options if the mushy peanuts aren't your thing. However I can't imagine this making sense as a stop if you aren't a peanut person I overall had a really good experience and definitely recommend it if you're a peanut fan and find yourself in Birmingham!

Yelp
There is a reason this place has almost a perfect score. We had the best time. We sat at the bar so we could watch the operation. They have several pots going boiling the peanuts and a roaster that is probably as old as the Al Peanut Co itself. They said they go through about 1000lbs of peanuts a week. That's a lot of nuts! Or ,I guess, legumes. The peanuts were delicious but what really made the experience was the staff. They were all so attentive. They gave everyone at the bar a couple of fresh roasted peanuts right out of the roaster. They gave us a small sampler of one of the flavors while we waited for another batch of what we ordered. They even showed us beers that were not in the menu. this is a great place for locals and tourists alike. you can certainly take the peanuts to go but it is way better to sit and stay awhile.

Yelp
Peanuts and beer...what's not to love? This place was unique and exactly what we needed. We were tired and needed a snack and a beverage and this hit the spot. I got the Taco Bell, Wickles And salt and vinegar. My husband got Cajun salt and vinegar and buffalo ranch. I didn't know that I would like them because I typically don't eat boiled peanuts but I Loved them! This place is a must visit while in the area. The service was great.

Yelp
Simple, delicious, priced right. Cold drinks, hot Peanuts! A must visit when you're in Birmingham!

Yelp
Love their peanuts. Definitely a great spot for a fun snack, and especially for out of towners. Stay there or get some to go.

Yelp
If there is one thing that I enjoy eating, it is nuts! Love them! Alabama Peanut Company is on a cute cobblestone street that is one way. The employees are helpful and a hoot. I enjoyed them all very much. The merch is great. The peanuts are absolutely wonderful. We over ordered. We got Cajun boiled, salt boiled, unsalted regular peanuts, and dark roast peanuts. I also got a Coke in a bottle to try the famous treat of nuts in your Coke. We ended up sitting on two chairs outside the APC and ate a bunch of nuts and fed the pigeons, like an old married couple. It was the best time. I enjoyed the Coke with nuts. I'll continue that up north. The boiled peanuts were hard to eat. I learned you don't eat the entire shell, after a couple. Then it got better, when I sucked the brine out and spit out the shell. I got the softest t-shirt there. Again, their merch is spectacular. I loved the interior vibes, as well as the exterior. You have to stop here. If you are in the area of Alabama, stop here. Parking is pretty terrible. Luckily, we found a metered spot a block down and someone had fed the meters, so we had some time and didn't have to pay. We went on a Saturday. Downtown was pretty dead, but you have to pay no matter what.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Customer service was okay, but not really friendly. The prices were not bad. The peanuts were good. The ambiance is very old peanut roasting place off a very old street in Bham.
google avatar

Cheryl M.

Yelp
Not too much to say here but if you like peanuts, definitely stop in. They have boiled and roasted. We got both. They have salted and unsalted and a variety of flavors. We got the cajun nuts which were very good. I would get these again. Plain old salted were good too. They also have peanut brittle in regular, chocolate, and butterscotch. You really can't go wrong with any of these. They are all very good! They also sells shirts and a few other novelty items.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Fun spot full of history and really great service. The changing daily flavors offer something new in a niche market.

Yelp
IM NUTS ABOUT YOU! I have had the Alabama Peanut Company on my "Bucket List" since I moved here. But I was never able to find the actual time to check it out. Woke up this morning and decided that the time had come. I am not sure what I was expecting, but it truly blew me away. The building is old, but still has so much character and charm inside. There are old timey machinery, tools and gadgets all around. You can tell that this shop has not changed since it opened in 1907. When you first walk inside, it feels as though you are stepping back in time. But stepping back in time in a good way, if that makes sense. Rustic interior with photographs on the walls of down town Birmingham back in the day. You get a really good feeling when you are inside. The shop itself is small, but they offer so much. From merchandise like shirts, hats, beer koozies and even bags for you to put your peanuts in. There is a small drink fridge too where you can find glass bottles of coca cola beverages and even the Dr. Pepper with the label from back in the day. Everything about this little shop screams BIRMINGHAM! Who doesn't enjoy drinking a cold beverage from a glass bottle and enjoying some salty peanuts. Believe it or not, this combination is a classic. Some even enjoy putting their salty peanuts inside of their cola for the salty/sweet combination. But let's be honest, the real reason everyone comes is for the peanuts. The choices are: boiled or roasted and there is an array of flavors to select from. I have to say some of the flavors are out there, but I have heard they are fabulous. Seems, the weirder the flavor combinations are the more delicious they are. (Shrug). Customer service was top notch. Everyone working had a huge smile in their face. We decided on getting the 1/2 pound bag of the salted roasted peanuts. Not only do they look delicious but they smell delicious too. The paper bag that the put the peanuts in kept the peanuts fresh and warm even while running errands and walking around the down town area. I will definitely be coming back to the Peanut Company. It is a nice tourist spot, but also great spot for the locals to come and enjoy as well!

Yelp
So....I will admit that I came to check out this place with the hopes that I WON'T like it, ha. I don't need anymore snacks that I just have to have LOL. Alas, it did not work out that way....the boiled peanuts I got were so good! They have different flavors of boiled peanuts available every day that they post on their website. While you can't try the actual peanuts when you go to the store, they do have a little station in the store while you can the the marinate they cook the peanuts in. It's not exactly the same as trying the boiled peanuts themselves, but you do get a decent idea of the flavor. I got cajun and pineapple lava boiled peanuts today....they were both fresh, hot, and tasty. You can see the peppers and pineapples! Going to go back to savoring my goodies now!!

Yelp
This is one of our must do stops when in Birmingham. There is just something special about fresh roasted peanuts. Cajun boiled is a favorite of mine. Be sure not to speed up the cobble stone street or you'll make your self sick.
google avatar

Meena C.

Yelp
What a great place with a variety of options for everyone(as long as you're not allergic to peanuts)!! I love boiled peanuts, and when I discovered this place, I had to try out their selections. My favorite: wickles pickles!! So , so good! I recently tried the collard greens flavor; unique, different, good, but not my favorite. There's a flavor for everyone! Since Covid they are doing advance ordering and pick up from the curb! Super convenient!
google avatar

Krista M.

Yelp
The Wickles Boiled Peanuts are amazing! Love the location and the staff is very friendly.

Yelp
Me and my wife were walking past Alabama Peanut Company on our way to go and eat at The Essential, and the smells coming from the store got our attention. We decided to go in and sample some of their boiled peanuts. We each tried one of their boiled cajun peanuts, and we instantly fell in love. I have grown eating and making boiled peanuts, and I think this boiled peanut was the best I had ever tasted. They weren't too salty or mushy. It had perfect flavor and consistency. If you like boiled peanuts, I highly recommend stopping by Alabama Peanut Company.
google avatar

Allyson B.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic! Being from Alabama, peanuts of all kinds have been a cornerstone in my diet. I married a man from California, and he was fast converted to a peanut brittle and boiled peanut lover. Took my MIL here today, and even though she was hesitant, she ended up loving them too! If you stop by, they have delicious roasted, boiled, and even brittle options. I highly recommend the Cajun brittle. It has cayenne for a nice subtle heat at the end.

Yelp
We stumbled across Alabama Peanut Company after visiting the bridal boutique a couple of doors down. Honestly we stumbled upon it as we were headed to the appointment, but my future sister in law and I had both agreed that we would stop by afterwards for the sake of time. Back to business: The smell of the roasted peanuts is bound to get you and draw you inside! Not to mention the list of various boiled peanut flavors of the day that are posted outside. We went on a Friday and Spicy Dale's was the star that day, and boy was it good! But no worries, if you're not quite the fan of fun flavors, you can always go for salted (boiled or roasted), which is available everyday. It's so obvious that these peanuts are boiled and roasted daily. In fact, we were able to see the 85+ year old peanut roaster in action and to me it's such a beautiful little piece that adds meaning to this small business! There's also some merch that you can purchase and also a small seating area inside so you don't have to wait until home to dig in. It's just a cozy little business that I'll be sure to visit again when I'm down town. Especially since I'm itching to try the Sriracha Lime flavor on Wednesday's! ;) There's

Yelp
I've been coming here since my 3rd grade field trip to this place! It used to be called The Peanut Depot and didn't have boiled peanuts. Once Jaime, the current owner, took over he continued using the same original peanut roasters and added boiled peanuts to the menu. I call it "Craft Boiled Peanuts" because every week there's a new flavor, such as French onion soup, Salty Dill Pickle, Milo's sauce, Collard Greens, Old Bay & PBR to name a few. They also have regular and Cajun boiled peanuts. All the ones I've tried were delicious! This is the only place in Birmingham where I'll buy peanuts because of how fresh they are! I highly recommend going. They also have really cool merchandise too.

Yelp
I was surprised to find a peanut company in a downtown area! This is the real deal... Old unique building, great atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. Yes this was a great stop. I could not stop eating the salty roasted peanuts. Very addictive!
google avatar

Patton S.

Yelp
Walk in and you see old Planter's roasters from 1920, humming and spinning with the savory aroma of ballpark peanuts in the air. Old glass Coca-Cola bottles sitting in the fridge. Freshly boiled craft peanuts with flavors so unique you have to try them to fully grasp it: Buffalo Ranch, Siracha Lime, Salty Dill Pickle, Dreamland Sauce, Milo's Sauce. You name it. This is quite possibly the most 'Alabama' place in Alabama. Mouthwatering boileds. Perfectly salty or spicy roasteds. All paid perfectly with a local craft beer, your go-to ice cold light beer, or even a Mexican glass-bottle Coke. This is easily one of the best and most unique places in Birmingham, possibly even the state. A true staple. Housed in the famed "Peanut House" that's stood on Morris Avenue's cobblestone since 1907. This place deserves a sixth star - and a historic marker.
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
Very cool place! It's like taking a step back in time inside there. Still using the 1906 roaster, how cool is that! I got a 2 lb bag of peanuts to go. They were oh so good, going to share them at the office tomorrow. They have a salted, original and cajun. They have a great variety of boiled peanuts as well, check them out on instagram, they're always posting some cool flavors. I personally like the original or Cajun myself. This place is totally worth a visit!

J R.

Yelp
We happened upon an Alabama Peanut pop-up at The Shops at Grand River on Saturday and got a quart of the Cajun boiled peanuts. We've been craving them ever since we ate the last peanut that afternoon, so we decided to go grab some more at lunch today from their shop on Morris Ave. Cute, rustic, industrial vibe in the shop. They post their flavors for the week on their website (you can even order ahead to make sure you get the flavor you want). They also post regularly about pop-up shops and flavors on their Instagram page. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Even with two other people in line in front of us, we were helped quickly and were on our way. These are NOT like random gas station boiled peanuts that they pour out of a can into a crock pot and try to make you believe they made them fresh. These are the REAL DEAL! As you are making your selection/contemplating what size to get, go ahead and choose the large (32oz). It's worth it!! My husband and I share that size. Honestly, today we got two so we could have some more tomorrow. The Cajun boiled peanuts are the perfect spice level. You can clearly see the seasonings (bay leaves, mustard seeds, red pepper flakes, jalapeños, etc). Fresh and delicious. They pack the container full! Grab a roll of paper towels and enjoy some of the best peanuts around!

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! I was passing through Birmingham on my way from TX to SC and I just knew this was the place I needed to stop at for some legit boiled peanuts! They have awesome (inventive) flavors and I love that you can pre-order so your order is ready to go when you arrive. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended stopping by if you're anywhere nearby! My peanuts made it to friends and family in SC and NY and they absolutely loved them. Can't say enough good things about the shop, their history, or what a great experience I had. Big Fan!
google avatar

Justin K.

Yelp
These nuts are absolutely amazing! Love the flavor varieties and the quality of their peanuts. The place is also a neat place to stop in. Highly recommend. This isn't your roadside or canned peanuts.
google avatar

Ro K.

Yelp
Love the smell of fresh roasted Peanuts in the air before you enter the store. Staff is nice and I love the Cajun flavor roasted Peanuts -- a big difference in taste than store bought.
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
One of the oldest and best finds in Birmingham! They have been in this same spot for many years. The roasted peanuts are always what we get and they're always perfect! If you like boiled peanuts, they offer a variety of flavors, like ranch and cajun plus others. They also sell branded shirts that represent them and Birmingham. You can sit in and enjoy your peanuts and a drink of you'd like. One of the cool things they offer is cute bags with their logo that you can share as wedding or party favors. If you're in the Morris Avenue area you should stop in for a bit of local goodness!
google avatar

Gabe M.

Yelp
I stopped by here quite a few times a few years ago when I was worked in the area and can undoubtedly say that the Alabama Peanut Company knows how to make good peanuts - who knew? APC sells it all - peanut brittle, roasted peanuts, cajun roasted peanuts, and boiled peanuts in such a large variety of flavors you never even knew existed. They also have a lot of miscellaneous Alabama souvenirs that even a local would appreciate. At the moment they're doing a curbside pickup system through their website that is easy-to-use, quick, and efficient. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
google avatar

Katelyn R.

Yelp
We loved this place! It has a cool atmosphere plus he definitely a peanut master. We tried the Cajun boiled and roasted peanuts. He usually has Cajun and salted boiled peanuts on deck, then on Monday - Friday there is an additional flavor. On saturdays he has 6 different flavors. We will definitely be back to try is ghost pepper and buffalo ranch boiled peanuts. As for his roasted peanuts, he somehow gets the Cajun flavor in the peanut and it's wonderful! Definitely should check this place out you will absolutely love it!
google avatar

Nikole O.

Yelp
Bloody Mary Peanuts! So flavorful. I'm glad I stumbled by this place. What a hidden gem. Every day they have new flavors so try them all. They also have roasted nuts if your into that. But BOILED is the only way to go.
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
Boiled peanuts are a staple for the south, and the Alabama Peanut Company takes that to the next level. Their peanuts are perfectly boiled and they like to put a fun twist with their daily special flavors. I got Salt and Vinegar yesterday which you could really taste in the juice. I've also tried Salty Dill Pickle and they have bits of pickles in the juice. You can get a pint for $5 which is really filling, but if you need more you can get a quart for only $2 more! Check out their social media for their rotating menu of the specialty peanuts, but they do have regular and Cajun boiled peanuts everyday. Located on Morris Avenue right next to Shipt and The Essential!
google avatar

Hannah D.

Yelp
Alabama Peanut Company is honestly one of my favorite places in B'Ham. Whether I'm taking a walk, driving by, etc. it's always a good idea to stop and get some peanuts. The flavors they come up with are beyond delicious and often I can't choose just one! The staff are always friendly and I love the vibe you get as soon as you walk in. There are some tables inside if you would like to eat there or they are easy to take with you and enjoy them at the park, home, or work. They sell some other things like soda to go with your peanuts, t shirts, and hats!
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
Looking for perfectly boiled peanuts roasted daily? This place take some time out of your busy schedule to visit this hidden gem. Easily walkable for those of you who either work or live downtown. As with many stores downtown, the owner is often there and one can tell that he has a true passion for his product. Ideally I'd love to see this location expand into other areas, however this store is truly a hidden gem. Would love to see this store market it's products at local farmers markets, concerts or local event. Once you've tried, I'm sure you'll be hooked. Props to this concept, and I hope you enjoy this location as much as I do. Way to go Alabama Peanut Company. Keep up the great work.

Yelp
Bang for your buck: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance/Location: 9/10 Overall: 10/10 Oh, yes! 5 stars all the way! We popped in on our way to the beach. What better beach snacks than peanuts?! We loved their selection of peanuts. Such unique flavors! We ordered Cajun boiled peanuts and regular roasted peanuts. Both were exceptionally delicious! Easily the best boiled peanuts I've ever had! The prices are fair and the service is friendly! Parking can be a bit tricky, so be ready to be on the lookout for a primo spot. Can't wait to get back to Alabama Peanut Co., and I can't stop telling everyone else to visit, too!
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Super yummy! I love the unique flavors. Also the store is worth a visit for the Birmingham history that it holds.

Ginny A.

Yelp
I agree with Nikki G's review. The store is located in a historical area and the building is beautiful. The employees are friendly. Lots of different kinds of nuts which are pretty tasty! They also have shipping options so that you can send nuts to all of your favorite friends and family members. Check it out if you like peanuts! It's a small store so you don't need a lot of time, but you can stay longer if you want to!

Yelp
Great place for a southern treat. Roasted and boiled peanuts and all the extras. Perfect mix of salt and spices in the boil peanuts. They have free samples so try all of them before you buy. It's worth the trip if you're in the downtown Birmingham area. The staff are very friendly ...

Yelp
Dropped by and picked up a Valentine's Day bag of peanuts. Service was spot on and the staff was very friendly. It's an in and out process. The customer service stated before i ever walked into the door. I was concerned they would run out of the limited edition bags before i got down for a visit and the person who runs there social media account said they would hold me one. Which meant the world because i work 30 minutes away and couldn't get down until the day before Valentine's Day.

Yelp
I've grown up eating boiled peanuts with my granddad and once I heard about Alabama peanut company, I became suspicious. Flavored peanuts, too good to be true. But holy cow! These peanuts are truly addicting. If you are ever in downtown Birmingham, this is a must to stop by and try. Everyone who works there is very friendly and welcoming!

Yelp
This is a go to spot when coming to Birmingham!!! Fresh hot peanuts and my favorite boiled peanuts served hot! The flavors always blow me away. While in town I got to try about 4 of the boiled flavors Dill pickle and Pineapple lava were my favorite and Sergeant Hot pepper was tasty too!!! This place deserves 10 stars!
