The 15 Best Restaurants In Kendall

"Aladdin Market & Grill is 75% restaurant and 25% market. This Kendall shop serves delicious falafel platters in tiered stands and makes the best kafta shawarma wrap we’ve had. Juicy kafta is mixed with perfectly spiced radishes, onions, parsley, and wrapped in pita so thin, you can fashion a beach shirt out of it. After your elegant falafel moment, have some cheesy knafeh and arab coffee for dessert. Then, make your way to the market portion of this place and browse for some za’atar, date paste, and frozen vegan shawarma." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Google
I had high expectations of this place and I was disappointed. My husband and I wanted to try this place since we’d seen great reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not very good. We ordered the combo platter, chicken and falafel platters. The most delicious in my opinion were the falafel and the hummus. Great flavor. The rest had little to no flavor, with the exception of the chicken kebabs. However the portion of chicken was also disappointing. Lastly the stuffed grape leaves were inedible. They not only lacked flavor but were incredibly pasty and mushy inside and the leaves not very tender. The server was great and attentive. The place itself was charming with a nice selection of market items where you could find unique items. I could not bring myself to try any desserts given the experience.

This place is very authentic to the culture. The hummus was one of the best I’ve tasted. We all had the Chicken Shawarma Platter. It was really good! The service was top notch and everyone was very attentive to our needs and wants. The owner or manager brought some legos for my grandson to play with. I highly recommend this place and we will be back soon.

We come here every week! We have tried many Mediterranean restaurants in Miami and other cities and I have to say this one is the best! Fresh and authentic! They also have a very beautiful show and dinner once a month but make sure you reserve because it gets packed! Enjoy!

Delicious, high-quality food with friendly and precise service! While staying at an Airbnb nearby in April 2025, our family of seven ordered takeout from Aladdin Grill for dinner. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant to place our order, we felt like dear guests. The manager, Selim, personally welcomed us, guiding us through the menu with recommendations on dishes, sides, and appetizers. His warm, friendly conversation made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite us asking for delivery at 9pm - restaurant closing time — it was graciously accommodated and Selim personally delivered the food, right on time. This was an awesome service! The food impressed us with its flavor, freshness, and overall quality. We started with maza combos. Each of five mazas was perfectly prepared. A standout was the cauliflower salad maza, an uncommon but delightful addition to typical Mediterranean fare. The kebabs were tender and perfectly spiced, with the kafta kebab distinguished by its coarse texture, bold seasoning, and flavor, adding a unique touch beyond usual kafta kebab taste. We highly recommend Aladdin Grill if you are in the area and looking for a high quality Mediterranean cuisine. It fully deserves its high review rating! Thank you Aladdin Grill and Selim for an exceptional meal and seamless delivery! Food ordered: Beef Shawarma with Fava Bean Salad and House Salad Kafta Kabbab with Sweet Potato Salad and Tzatziki Chicken Kabbab with French Fries Kabbab Combos with House Salad, Tzatziki, Hummus, Eggplant Salad, French Fries, Fava Bean Salad, Sweet Potato Salad 2 Maza combo platters with five mazas each

Google
I discovered this hidden gem in the heart of Kendall just last year. Every single time I have come (which is quite often now) the service is amazing, the food is mouth watering (their hash browns are insanely good) and their coffee, teas and desserts (the Kenafeh dessert leaves me speechless every time) are to rave about. I love showing it to my friends and family because it gets such a great reaction each time. I don’t know how I didn’t know about them before but Im grateful that I do now! Here’s a pic of one of my favorite things to get, their Greek Omelette and whats left of their delicious tea mix. 10/10 I love this place.

Google
I am so sad I am just finding out about this place. Had I known about it when I lived in the area I would of most definitely been a regular. The food is divine. Great flavors. I had the chicken shawarma platter. It comes with your choice of two sides. I went with the tabouleh and the angel hair rice. What a great combo. The tabouleh was zesty the chicken was tangy and together they were a great pairing. The pickled onions also give it a nice touch. I also had the lemonade. Super refreshing and different than what I've had. The server was great and made good recommendations. The outdoor seating was adorable and the indoor had a little market to buy spices and goods from.

Yelp
This place was so good! My husband and I decided to come here for an early dinner after having driven past it a couple times. We ordered the fried halloumi cheese, the chicken shawarma and the beef shawarma. Everything was phenomenal, and large portions! The cheese came with this delicious sweet and spicy dipping sauce that I loved. My chicken shawarma had so much flavor from all the spices. My husband loved his beef shawarma, but especially the fries it came with. We ended up taking some home because we couldn't finish everything. For dessert we ordered the baklava sampler that came with 4 kinds of baklava, and 2 Turkish coffees. I can't pick a favorite baklava because they all were delicious and not overly sweet. The Turkish coffee might have been my favorite part of the whole meal honestly. I loved the presentation and the coffee was just beyond. Service was excellent. Fast and friendly. You can feel that this is a family owned restaurant that has personality. It was very welcoming. I loved the decoration and the little lamps on all the tables. Straight out of the movie Aladdin lol. We already plan on returning again very soon. The prices are great and the food was fantastic. Lots of easy parking too which is a huge plus.

Yelp
Somehow I keep coming back here. As a long-time member of Yelp Elite (I may have to edit this review as I was not renewed as a member this year) I have great respect for their reviews and a 4.8 rating on Yelp is quite an accomplishment. So, the first time I came here, I did not post a review...my falafal wrap was below average but the service, including some personal attention from the owner was exceptional. So, i felt my 3 star rating might not be fair, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. The second time I came was even worse. I ordered the lamb chops, priced at $29.99, cooked medium rare. What I got was 4 tiny overcooked ribs with some acceptable but not noteworthy sides. Had to ask for pita which, considering we had a number of maza items, should have been served earlier. Another disappointment. Round three. Only returned because was invited to join friends. Saw the chicken kebabs on someone else's plate and ordered that with baba ghanouj and eggplant salad. Finally! It was delicious. But wait, my wife had ordered a falafel wrap. I was halfway through my meal and it had not come. Called the waitstaff over to inquire. 15 minutes later and 2 more requests to the waitstaff, no wrap. Finally the owner heard me speaking about it and we began to hear robust discussion about the sandwich among the staff. Finally one came over and said it would be right out. Our entire party had now finished eating by now. My wife quickly ate part of her wrap, which she noted was not all that good, and while she was eating the owner came over and commented that her wrap had been delivered to another table. No apology, no explanation except that irrelevant comment. That was enough as we got up to pay our bill as the rest of our party was itching to leave. At the register, the owner listed the items we had ordered, including the partially eaten falafel wrap and then asked, "would you like to add a tip?" Being me, I was generous despite the substandard service. Again, no accommodation or apology...no accountability for them dropping the ball. There will be no further visits . No reason to. This establishment does not deserve my money and now having been there three times does not deserve a high Yelp rating that I see posted. I think it's remarkable that others have had such positive experiences there, but I will not take a chance again trying to find that experience for myself. Not recommended.

Yelp
Well...I hate to be negative and I usually don't unless I have a good reason and enough "tries". So, I'll start with some good things. I love the ambience and the accommodating kind and welcoming staff. The manager is so lovely, the place including the market is cool and well appointed. I hear the belly dancing on certain eves is fun! I bookmarked Aladdin since it is so highly rate, nearby and I love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. 1. First try: I chose falafel & hubby chose lamb. My falafel was fine, authentic enough green with spices, but tasted lacking and very bland somehow. Hubby's lamb was similar, very expensive and quite a small portion. We were both disappointed, but willing to come again for something else due to the very high rating. 2. Second try: Same experience-nice staff, lovely hostess and even blander lackluster food. Still overall positive experience with ambience, too. It was just ok-passable, not bad. 3 Last try last night: We reluctantly came with a big group of friends before a local event. SAME experience BUT waaay worse service!! Even though they are quite nice as always, everyone gets their food except ME! I am so embarrassed, waiting on falafel wrap. My friends tell a waitstaff---nothing. They tell another...still nothing. Finally the lovely hostess comes by and hears the same from my meal mates. AFTER everyone else is DONE they finally bring my boring wrap minutes before we have to go. Everyone is paying at the cashier while I eat alone. Hostess/manager has no apology but announces,"Your falafel wrap went to another table by accident." That's IT. What?! SO disappointing since they are so kind. My hubby goes to pay & all she has to offer in the way of apology is,"Would you like to leave a tip?" He is classy, so says nothing & leaves a customary tip. I ask my 10 dinner friends to next time PICK SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Yelp
IT WAS SOOOO GOOOOOD! First time here that this establishment and I've eaten Mediterranean food before... but not like this! Absolutely delicious! I knew from just looking at the Falafels, it was going to be good! Tasted so damn good! Inhad a Gyro platter and that alone was fan-freaking-tatstic! The dessert (I had a White Pudding and, of course, Baklava .... Can't describe it, it just tasted so much better here, hands down! Come here, settle down and have some good eats... they make it with love Thank you Liza I will be back!

Yelp
Description I came to this place a few years back for a birthday and it randomly popped up in our minds to revisit again. It's a middle eastern style restaurants with a full menu of appetizers, entree, and desserts. Each entree comes with two sides as well. The restaurant also has hookah available for those seated outside. Baklavas are also sold with other desserts as well and there's also seasoning and other things that can be bought for home. What I ordered The gyro platter, the sliders, and the kebab combo platter. The gyro platter has the meat and two sides of choice come separate so you have to put it together. The sliders come with seasoned fries. The sliders are burgers mixed with vegetables lettuce tomato and pickles in pita bread. And the kebab combo platter has 3 different meats and I picked hummus and tzatziki sauce on the side. The appetizer was cheese and zaatar pizza (I am sorry for not being able to recall the exact name). All the food was delicious and the one platter per person with the appetizer was very filling as well. I know in the future I would definitely order the kebab combo with hummus and tzatziki sauce again. When you're done eating the food also gets picked up from the table. Value The value ranges depending what you get. The plates we got were about $15.00 for the gyro 27 for the kebab combo and the sliders off the kids menu was around $17.00. But once again the food was delicious and filling. I left very full. Ambiance/Crowd All ages were here, the restaurant is kid friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating, in the outdoor seating people do hookah. People were dressed from casual to decent. Service Great service I have no complaints they were very attentive. Parking Parking is plentiful if not you can park in the shopping center next door and walk which isn't far at all and is what we did. Parking is also free. 4 year olds thought corner My picky eater of a child loved the fries and the place. He also loved the pita bread as well. He was not too fond of the sliders because once again he is a picky child and the meat is mixed with certain spices and vegetables that he isn't used to but we thought the sliders were delicious.

Yelp
We were planning to go for dinner but they close at 4 pm on Sundays so we went at 2 pm instead. Here's what we ordered: Unsweetened tea Raspberry tea - really good! Beirut beer Muhammara Grape leaves Hummus with meat Mahi mahi lunch platter with lentil rice and sweet potato salad Chicken Shawarma salad Falafel platter with hummus and tabouli Another hummus with meat with fries as my meal Kenafeh for dessert - it takes time to prepare but is shareable and totally worth it! Turkish coffee Look for my pictures in the general photos because I can't add any more to my post.

Yelp
Exceptional food, service, and atmosphere! I came for lunch and was greeted immediately and sat in the adorable outdoor patio. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, and I ended up choosing the Beef Kebab Platter and a house lemonade to drink - both excellent choices! The beef was juicy and tender, and paired well with the baba ghanoush and labneh with pita on the side. The lemonade was sweet and thicker than I expected (but not pulpy, more like viscous?) and had mint mixed throughout, and it was one of the most unique and delicious drinks I've tried in a long time! I had to hold myself back from finishing it before my entree arrived. I also ended up getting Kanafeh to go, and WOW was that an incredible dessert! It's a massive portion and has such a unique mix of flavors, all of which come together beautifully to create the perfect end to a fantastic meal. I will absolutely be back for more! The challenge will be pushing myself to pick new items - what I had was the perfect combination of food!

Yelp
If you're looking for great food and friendly staff this is your place. Ive driven by this place for years and finally gave it a change and definitely was not disappointed. My wife and I shared falafel and a combo platter. Food was prepared to our liking and was delicious. The highlight of our lunch was the pistachio baklava. 100 percent the best Ive ever had! I would deeply recommend having that.

Yelp
First time at Alladin last night for dinner and it was amazing. Food is so flavorful, I loved everything. Hummus for appetizer, Beef shawarma platter with Lentil Rice and Baba ganoush and their pistachio baklava was the best I've had. So Delish!!!

Yelp
The best Mediterranean I have ever tried. My favorite is Hummus with beef schwarma ,my wife loves the kebab combo .Falafel is tasty as well. Gyro platter is good. Big portion of kannafeh, we could finish only half and take the rest to share with our friends.

Yelp
Top 5 restaurants I have EVER been to. I was so blown away. I wish I had discovered it as soon as I moved to miami. I love the vibes here! Every dish here was made with love and it really shows. Hummus, babaganoush, falafel, labneh, eggplant salad--all are a must try. The tabouleh was so fresh and tart. I think the only thing in these photos that wasn't necessarily life changing was the beef kabob. Everything else was amazing though. Will be coming here regularly now :)

Yelp
We came Saturday night and I don't know if the fact that we were very hungry or the fact that the restaurant was pack but the food was outstanding!!! The best I ever have of all the times I've come here! The service was excellent as always!! Overall so happy to have found this jewel!

Yelp
I love coming here for lunch for whenever I come down for work. The service and staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable. The food is amazing, I always get shawarma but will continue to get meat shawarma moving forward since it's more flavorful. They give you a lot of food for the platter. Would recommend

Yelp
This place is truly a hidden gem in Miami. The food is fanatic and the ambiance is great. The owners take pride in providing great hospitality and showcasing their culture. The muhammara is my favorite and the fries are my guilty pleasure.

Yelp
First time and definitely not the last!!! Everything was delicious, the chicken, hummus, sirloin everything amazing.... The inside looked nice and welcoming, will definitely dine in next time.... FYI they also have belly dancers on certain nights

Yelp
This place is around the corner from me. I am not sure why it took me so long to check it out but I am glad I did. Aladdin features all the standard Middle Eastern food that you would expect. All the classics are on the menu. The prices are decent and they are better than some of the higher priced places I have been to in Miami with pretty much the same cuisine. As the name suggests it is also a market as well so take away, and baked items are also easily available. The service here was exceptional on all my visits. One small difference at Aladdin is you pay at the counter when you are finished. I have had half the appetizers and all were perfect. I have had the beef shawarma and the kebob platter on different visits and both were spot on. Aladdin features a variety of side dishes that are better than than the usuals. There is a mint lemonade that has orange blossom in it that is very tasty. The house red wine is not bad either. All in all, very nice family restaurant. I think I will be a regular now.

Yelp
Had lunch at this local favorite, and it did not disappoint! I hadn't been in a while and had forgotten how tastey and fresh their food is. The hummus and tabouleh are amazing! Fresh, yummy, and plentiful. The gyro was also very good and large. I had enough to take some food home. Hubby had red lentil soup (not pictured), which I tasted. It was very good, a little spicy, but that adds flavor. They've opened outdoor seating, which is lovely and adds to the ambiance. They also are starting to host belly dancers. Right now seems to be monthly, but I was told they are hoping to host shows more often.

Carolina E.

Yelp
Aladdin Market & Grill is honestly an extremely refreshing dining experience in Miami- phenomenal food that won't make you take out a loan to pay for it. This place is awesome! Truly a hidden gem. Service was also good, the staff were all very nice and helpful. The outdoor patio had a very pleasant ambiance. All the desserts were a 10/10. Tabouli so good, you'd be a FOOLoui to not get it. It was so good I went inside and bought a tub to go. The market is also great.

Yelp
I saw this restaurant reviewed on the show Let's Eat South Florida. I happened to pass by it and decided to try it. It is restaurant and a store. I had the falafel plate. You get two side dishes so I chose hummus and babaganoush. Falafel was very tasty with 6 falafel balls. The side dishes were rather small and wish they offered more on the plate. Also the pita bread didn't taste homemade. It's worth trying if you pass by. .

Yelp
What a great little find. From the moment we walked in the staff was attentive and gracious. They were very helpful with the menu. Once we received our meal it was beyond what I expected. The beef Shawarma was amazing. Tasty tasty. The hummus is probably the best hummus I've ever had, and the baklava when we ordered it, they made us wait, but it came fresh from the kitchen. Since the first time I've been there I've been back for takeout, the food is that great. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Yelp
Awesome delicious Mediterranean food with friendly family service. You must try this restaurant and for dessert you must order the Kunafa.

Yelp
Good food, prompt friendly service, they make you feel like a welcomed family member , clean neat nice decor. Pricing reasonable, ample portions. One of my go to places in Kendall. Try it you'll like it.

Yelp
Our first time here. The food was wonderful. Some of the best hummus we have had. Tonight they had kibbe which we tried and it was great. The Lebanese red wine was a nice surprise (with a generous pour). Also, for a special they had shrimp skewers which were also delicious. We tried the baklava sampler. OMG. it was delicious. But the one with the chocolate drizzle stood out. Do yourself a favor and try this place. We will absolutely be back!!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while I was trying to kill some time before an appt and it did not disappoint! It's a pretty big resturant with a market inside for all your Middle Eastern goodies (a bit pricy compared to other markets, but has a wide variety of items). The food was delicious and definitely satisfied my craving. Service was attentive and awesome. It's pretty reasonably priced as well. Wish they had a lunch special but pretty much all their platters and main courses mimicked a shareable lunch meal. I got a chicken kabab that comes with two sides, I ordered lentil rice and tabouli with mine. All the platters come with pita bread. I also ordered a side of Tzatziki. Definitely would recommend!

maria o.

Yelp
I've catered food from this place for so many of my family parties and they always loved the. 20/10 every time ! The food is always fresh and made with so much love. Anything you get will taste amazing. Can't say enough good things about it

Yelp
OMGee! Aladdin Market & Grill is simply amazing. We found this looking for local Middle Eastern restaurants. We've easily been a half dozen times in the past two months and I cannot say enough about the food. The service has always been on point. During one of our visits, the owner even offered to give a tour of the kitchen to my daughter to see how the food is made. We've had the falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, eggplant salad, rice, tabouli, and grape leaves. For our main courses, we've had the greek salad, beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, meat pie, and gyro platter. Everything is very fresh and tasty. They also offer a variety of kids meals, including chicken tenders. I definitely recommend Aladdin to anyone who's looking for authentic Middle Eastern food in Miami.
google avatar

Yelp
Family owned restaurant that you absolutely must visit! My favorite meats are the kafta and the chicken shawarma. Their labneh was super smooth with pita. I have visited a few times and everyone always has a hard time ordering because everything is so good!

Yelp
The experience and lunch was amazing! The hostess, waitress and even one of the owners (Lisa) were very attentive to me and my partner. I walked away extremely satisfied. Thank you for a unique and memorable lunch. We'll be returning for the belly dance

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing! I've been several times and every dish I've ordered has always been spectacular. The service is great! Every is very attentive! The restaurant also has a lot of items including food from the Middle East to purchase. The Turkish coffee is amazing and served in the cutest platter with cups.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food not more one can ask for! Grape leaves were delicious and the two meals we ordered hit the spot!

Yelp
Very fresh and authentic Mediterranean food. It's definitely a spot to stop by and have a good meal, but not a date night type of ambiance.

Nik D.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and beautiful restaurant. I come with my family every time and we love the decorations. Come hungry! The platters are very filling! I also recommend the sweet dessert Kenafeh if you have a larger group. Isabella and her family were extremely sweet and welcoming. If you're not sure what to try, they have excellent recommendations. I have not tried a dish I didn't like.

Julie A.

Yelp
The ambiance is beautiful here and relaxing. The service is excellent from the waiters and all the food was extremely delicious and fresh. I recommend the baba ganoush, but really, everything on the menu seems like it comes out fresh and in excellent condition. They earned the best Mediterranean restaurant in Miami rightfully!
google avatar

Amanda Q.

Yelp
Great food! Everything tasted amazing. Service was good, there was some confusion when taking the order but not an issue. Order lamb kabob platter, grape leaves, hummus and rice. Pricey side! Was completely empty for a week night. Baklava was delicious

Yelp
I've eaten from here a few times already, both dined in and ordered take out, and I can say for certain that this is by far the best middle eastern food I've had in Miami. The quality is consistent, flavors are potent. The pickles are so good and a nice touch on the platters. Plenty of options to choose from depending on your appetite and palette. The service is always excellent, and the owner Lisa is very hands on. Nothing like when the owner of the restaurant comes by your table to personally check in and make sure everything is going ok. The servers are so attentive. It seems like they're always nearby to help with something or clear your table once you finish your meal. The location itself feels like it's straight out of the Middle East. The Turkish lamps and the middle eastern decorations, coupled with the dim lighting and Arabic music make you feel like you teleported to Beirut. They have a small food market in the back that seems to have a wide range of goods like spices, breads, snacks, etc. but I haven't really given it much attention. I don't doubt that everything they sell is high quality and probably imported from the Middle East, too.

Yelp
By far the BEST Mediterranean food in this area. Living in Miami, we have some amazing restaurants with a variety of food to choose from, but from 117th avenue heading Westbound, this is authentic Mediterranean food. Our waitress was a little slow when it came to our order. We requested 2 cups of water, beer and a glass of wine and the table next to us who arrived 10 minutes later, had already had their drinks on the table. After receiving our drinks, with the help of the owner, we received our appetizers and entrees. The ambiance is very original and I'm very pleased to have this place nearby my home and office. Looking forward in going again in the future. Great food!!!!!!!

Yelp
Great Lebanese food with wonderful service. Family owned and operated business with a small grocery store in the back. Enjoy Habibi!

Yelp
A hidden gem in our area! Can't believe we had been missing out on such a delicious and authentic place. You'll have a market, restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating area! You have plenty of options of a variety of dishes! The sides are endless! Each and every personnel is very nice, welcoming, and professional. The food was tasty, beautiful presentation, and the cost was great! Not pricey. Soon they'll be adding entertainment for the weekends. Can't wait to revisit!

Yelp
Food is awesome and service is top notch. I would have given it five stars if not for the prices that are high for a nice but not fancy restaurant. It's worth a visit.

Yelp
Yesterday I went to have lunch with my customers and we loved the place. The food was exquisite and the ambience was amazing. Very friendly and caring. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter, the lentil rice was cold but the waiter right away changed it. I love that they have a mini market within the restaurant and they sell a variety of products. They also have amazing desserts and homemade tea. I will be returning with more customers definitely I recommend.

Yelp
Super cute market and restaurant I came in for dine in with a couple of friends. I had the Kibbeh platter with the two sides, hummus and Baba Ghanoush. It was really tasty, but the portion was a little small, maybe because of "shrinkflation" or whatever. I had to order more food to be "full" We also ordered the dessert, which I'm not sure what it was called, but it's essentially cheese with honey. It was fantastic and definitely something to share with a group of people, I wouldn't try to finish it alone. It's so large. We paired it with Turkish coffee which was good coffee served in a way to share. The owners were super friendly and introduced themselves too. Would love to be back to try out other things on the menu.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service. Food is amazing! Lisa recognized us from previous visits and came over to welcome us back. We love the look of the restaurant and look forward to returning on April 5th when belly dancer performances.
