One of the most authentic restaurants in Istanbul. The food is delicious, staff are incredibly warm. Local gem a must visit.

Alaf 2tek is a small restaurant where they serve the best mezze’s for max 15 people. We sat outside, but because the restaurant is next to a busy road it was uncomfortable. The traffic makes a lot of noise. The place is really small, the tables are so close to each other, that the lady sitting behind me threw her long hair constantly backwards in my neck. But we came for the food. The dishes were really great, fresh made by one chef in an open kitchen. The only attention for the dishes is that he uses to much the same chimmichurri sauce. We drank a small bottle raki, which was Ataturks favorite raki and now ours. The waiters are friendly and when we left we got 2 small raki glasses to remember this food adventure. We will definitely go back, but for the restaurant next door, Alaf the michinel star restaurant, because the food in Alaf 2tek was full of flavour and promising.

Our first visit to Alaf was an absolute standout, and it showed us exactly why this place is so popular. The quality of the food and service was awesome a . The place was packed, which is always a great sign, and the vibe was energetic and fun.Serhat did great job, 👏

We tasted all the menu from cold to hot mezes and main courses. The taste is incredible and a lot different from typical raki place. This is Highly recommended place and I will be coming back for sure

It is located just near by the street. There are few tables. The have delicious foods and of course they are all good with Raki. Just go there with your friend, talk and watch the cars and the sea.

Perfect food with Raki combo :))..Great afternoon was spent with friends complimented with wonderful hospitality of the chef and the crew. Every dish was delicious and served with smiling faces. Portions here are extremely small. They charged us extra for the water bottles that we bought with the large Raki which they are already priced extremely high. And the service was less than acceptable. We had to continually ask for ice and water and we needed.

Great experience 👍 the atmosphere is excellent. Attentive team, specifically we have faced an issue in communication in English with front of the house but still English speaker chef come and assist us professionally. Food is fabulous and it for sure costs to visit. Service is professional.
