We just moved in this week and George from Maintenance is SO AMAZING!!! I mentioned our shower grout needing some TLC and he went above and beyond. I am so happy we chose Alamar! Also the leasing office is so on top of everything and has been so helpful!

The maintenance team at Alamar truly goes above and beyond! Every time I’ve needed assistance, they’ve responded quickly, handled the issue with professionalism, and always had such a positive attitude. They’re not only efficient and knowledgeable, but also genuinely friendly, which makes a huge difference. I’m so grateful to have such a reliable and hardworking team here at Alamar. Thank you for always making sure our homes stay comfortable and well taken care of!

As a retired couple, we sold our home in the country in far South Texas, and moved back home to San Antonio after 50+ years away. We wanted to lease, to alleviate as much responsibility as possible, and Alamar fit perfectly! We have a single floor, 2 car garage, 3 bedroom home overlooking nature, with no maintenance worries, no yard work, no property taxes, only renters home insurance, and beautiful amenities. We have a gym, a pool, magnificent walking neighborhood, and it’s so quiet, yet living in the city! We have the flexibility to travel as we wish, without a care about our home. Alamar has been great! Especially Angie! She’s been very helpful since the day we toured! She’s very informative and patient and I couldnt be anymore grateful for someone like that when looking for our new home! Alamar Apartments don’t even feel like apartments — they feel like home. Peaceful, clean, and well taken care of. The layout, the vibe, the staff — everything just hits right. If you’re tired of the typical apartment experience, this place is a game-changer.

They ask for a $3,000 deposit, and in the end, they only return 10%, inventing damages that don't exist. They tell you you'll have to pay a certain amount, and in the end, you pay $500 more. And then they force you to stay longer or pay a $10,000 penalty. 0% recommended. There are spiders and bugs. A horrible experience.

Alamar has a great property. But super expensive. They will Nickel and Dime you to make even more money. On top of the advertise rent, they will charge your for mandatory cable TV and internet, fee for mowing the lawn every week, if you need it or not. I had never had an apartment charge me for mowing the lawn. That should be built into the cost of the rent. Charge for Pest control. These are monthly recurring charges that is on top of your rent. There is a long list of other fees. On top of all that Management is terrible. Great property, but predatory fees. Lived there for one year. That is more than enough. One more thing. If you decide to go month to month at the end of your lease to move to a different place. They will push a 700 dollars a month “Premium” on top of your rent. Becareful if you go with this property.

Alamar has literally been such a blessing for my mother and I. We needed to move into a house that would help fit her physical (elder) requirements and also provide the space we needed. Alamar staff helped us with qualification and made our move possible with the help of their entire team with great communication every step of the way. Kayla helped us every step of the way, and was unbelievably patient and helpful. Stephanie and Brianna were also willing to help and so supportive creating a truly elevated welcoming moving experience. Alamar is quiet, very clean and beautifully taken care of. Truly idyllic. 10/10 recommend! Diana & Danny
