The courthouse is an old building, however, it’s yards away from Lake Merritt. Being a Los Angeles boy and visiting a court with an actual body of water was a treat. I enjoyed my stay, as brief as it was in Oakland, and I look forward to coming back .

It's a court house,..... How do you assess whether it's good or bad? But, this and the Hayward Hall of Justice are the two main court houses in Alameda County.

I was sent a summons in error—I vote in a different county. The questionnaire would not let me correct my address, so I had no choice but to call. After 29 minutes on hold, the woman answering the call simply said something to me and hung up on me without bothering to let me ask a follow up question. Between the Registrar and Court, I’m VERY glad not to be a permanent resident of Alameda County.

I have to admit I'm stoked by the excellent customer service in records - Room 107. I am extremely happy with the clerk helping me, but as I spent a few hours there, I witnessed how other clerks are helping other customers. I am absolutely and happily amazed! I wish all government institution clerks were as pleasant and helpful as the staff at this location!

Useless. Remodel useless. I tried to get help looking Something up on the computers they didn't work. Noone would help me. Just kept giving a sheet of paper hightlinging anywhere else to go. The guy at the window does magic with the highlighters. Anything else your screwed
