I visited Alameda for a graduation lunch, and we all agreed it was an outstanding culinary experience. The multi-course menu offered a delightful variety of seafood, meats, and locally sourced veggies, all beautifully crafted and full of flavor. The atmosphere was serene and inviting, with an interior design that truly enhanced the dining experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it came to helping us select wines to pair with our meal.
Overall, I would rate this experience an 8/10, based on the quality of the food, the service, and the price. Most of the dishes were absolutely delicious, and I appreciated the creativity of the menu, which managed to stay grounded without venturing into overly abstract territory. That said, a few small details were overlooked – after the bread service, our table was left with crumbs for far too long, and it wasn’t cleared very thoroughly.
While we did spend quite a bit on water (which felt a little excessive), it didn’t detract from what was ultimately an excellent experience. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a Michelin-quality meal in San Sebastián, I highly recommend Alameda. It’s a memorable spot for anyone who enjoys fine dining in a relaxed yet refined setting.
