Google
First time here. Found it in a search Not too bad for a Sunday morning as far as the wait. Our server, HALLE was incredibly amazing, super sweet and attentive. She kept us up to date on all the wait times between tickets. We still got our food out in spaced out intervals, but it was perfect for what we were ordering. Halle spent a few minutes with us telling us about her experience in a big city and was just so down to earth. She's an great asset to Alamo biscuit. Will definitely be back 🥳

Dayla K.

Google
We had a 15 minute wait around 10 am on a Saturday so that was not bad at all. The service was great. We had Halle and a trainee they were both very sweet and helpful. Halle was teaching the trainee all the things but the trainee was very slow with simple things so I hope she learns and grows! The food was fantastic. Big portions so we had leftover. Their brisket Sandwhich and protein bowls were good! The kids enjoyed the sweet breakfast options. The ambiance was cool, it’s a few days before Christmas so the trees and simple decor was neat to have around.

Google
Sara was a great waitress! Food was really good. We had about 25 minute waitress which wasn't too bad. Sara greeted us as soon as she was able. She knew the menu and answered questions. Food came out hot and fresh. Coffee was amazing. The only negative thing I will say that was odd is in the restroom there was a sign to not flush but throw away used toilet paper, sorry but that is gross.

Google
Such a great place for brunch and to start off the day. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the breakfast all day which came with a few food options. The biscuits and gravy with gravy sauce is yummm! The sausage was slightly better than the patty’s flavor. The bacon was prefectly cooked with a little crunch, and it also came with eggs (cooked your way)/potatoes. The Red Bull Refresher was a good drink. Especially to have energy for such a filling plate for 1. They do have mimosas which were the initial attraction! I would say decently priced and enough for 2-3. There was no wait. Parking is difficult but there are options from street parking (free/pay), and parking garage(pay). The parking garage is right next to the mall, and not a far walk at all to the restaurant. Great place to start your morning, and a great place to walk it off is the mall (which is attached). Looking forward to a larger party for brunch! Thank you for the great staff, and attentiveness.

Google
The staff is friendly. Thanks Josh and team. The atmosphere is fun and the surrounding Riverwalk is beautiful. Restaurant is very crowded and busy. My first time here. To expedite things, I called ahead on the phone and they took my order with no problem. I’m a sucker for Nashville hot tenders and I really wanted to give them a try. The price was great at $6.50 for two plump pretty large tenders with ranch. The spice was not too hot and the flavor was pretty good. The food took a little while to prepare about 40 minutes total probably because it’s so busy.

Google
Alamo Biscuit & Panaderia was an amazing place. My family had all different meals and we tried each others meals. Each plate was a different experience. Food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. It needs to be tasted to be believed. Michael was a great server! Thanks again!

Google
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Alamo Biscuit, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The service was impeccable, and our server went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server was Tashawn and she made my daughter feel so special on her birthday. We definitely had an awesome experience and will be coming back soon! Highly recommend Alamo Biscuit for great food and top-notch service.

Google
Great atmosphere right on the river walk! The food was excellent!! We had the Benedict trio with barbacoa, brisket, and fried chicken. Also, tried the pork belly hash bowl! The flavors are amazing and the meat was very tender. Our server was Elisa and she was awesome!! Highly recommend!!

Lebron B.

Yelp
Food was amazing and quick. Very filling. The service from genesis was by the best we've experienced, and the restaurant itself is very inviting with superb lighting, tasteful music to have easy conversations, and a welcoming feeling.

Yelp
Best bakery in town and the ladies are very nice and sweet! Ximena and Celest! This place is to die for

Yelp
Mason, our server was TOO awesome, if that makes sense, very attentive and the best attitude a server can have! Been places where the servers " just do there job". Mason did more than his job. And again, great haircut sir!!!

Yelp
Great food and easy find by the rivercenter. Fast and reliable service with very nice staff.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was mostly great. We all ordered benedicts and my favorite was the Brisket. The pork belly was tough, not chewable. The drinks were okay. They were just above dive bar quality with the added price of being at the riverwalk. Margaritaville had tastier drinks in the same price range with sweet as pie bartenders and better overall ambiance. The service was sparse even though it was a Saturday and the restaurant wasn't busy. All in all, I don't think we'll be back but it was cool to try out something new and have a nice view of the river.

Yelp
I didn't plan on coming here today, on a chilly morning walk. but they have a menu out front with pictures, and I (a creature with little to no self control) couldn't help myself. I went with the barbacoa benny and it was more than I could have imagined. literally more, I couldn't even finish it and I'm a big strong man. the food is as good as it looks. this place is a panadería with a sports bar vibe. and apparently its open 24/7 so consider this over fast food when you're drunk at 2am. and shout out to Houston transplant Gracie who was gracious (now I get the name) and attentive. may good fortune find her in this new city. update: I tried this place out again and they served me some raw ass pink sausage. and I had to remind Kayla when I paid that it even happened. this place seems to be hit OR miss. the waffle was good.
google avatar

Maya K.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place on a work trip with my coworkers and it did not disappoint! I can't believe a place like this with so many options on the menu can be open 24/7! We ordered the biscuit savory flight to begin and the sausage and gravy biscuit was my favorite. They were all delicious, though. We got some beers and a mimosa flight and got the steak tostada for the entree. Everything was very flavorful and tasty. Definitely get the spicy fresh salsa to go with your dishes. Tashawn was an extremely attentive and friendly waitstaff and was very helpful in helping us pick our choice. I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
We came into Alamo Biscuit for a late dinner before heading San Antonio the Saga for their lights show. My dad mentioned we were in a hurry, and they served us so quickly. Staff were super friendly, and we had no problem getting seated on a weeknight - tables were wide open. The food is solid. We split the brisket taco and chicken biscuit, which were both super flavorful. Their biscuit is a definite highlight. Such a nice stop not far from the River Walk. We would definitely come back.
google avatar

Lynette L.

Yelp
It was ok. My husband ordered a breakfast meal, a biscuit, meats and potatoes. I ordered a biscuit and gravy. The food tasted fine. Maybe it's me and I just don't like those kind of biscuits. Dry and not much flavor IMO. It was $40 . We drank water. Can't say it was really worth it. Like I said it was ok.
google avatar

Yelp
We enjoyed our meal at Alamo Biscuit Company! I've wanted to try their food because rumor had it that they had gluten friendly biscuits, and they did have them even late at night! The biscuit wasn't as flaky or crispy on the outside as I like my biscuits, but it was still so cool to have a Benedict on a biscuit! The Benedict was fine, nothing incredible, but still, a gluten free biscuit! Our table got both burgers, and the consensus was that the Bad Burger was the better of the 2. I personally would suggest getting the burger medium rare if possible because at medium it seemed a little dry, but the Bad Burger had an egg and all the yumminess. The patties were THICK, and it was substantial, so definitely worth the price! My kiddo got the Brisket Mac Fries, and the entire table loved them. They were impressed how nice the brisket was even though it was later at night. Brisket was tender and flavorful, which was a great topping on n thick macaroni and cheese and thick fries all topped with the a cheese sauce. Hubby said they were great after our kiddo ate plenty of the dish. Definitely have to mention that the tater tots were nice and crunchy. Nicely spaced out restaurant that had the game on the big screen which was GREAT. Our server was WONDERFUL, but I think they were all really busy. It took a while to order and then get our food, but we enjoyed it all when we go it! Certainly a welcomed addition on the Riverwalk!

Yelp
First time at this location and we weren't to impressed. The food was ok but we had a few issues with our server who was nice but i think we came during shift change because we had our drinks and food ordered by one server then someone brought out some of our food and they didn't bring out mine or my niece's food. Then when asked if everything came out ok by yet another server we had to let her know we were still missing food. And we had to let her know what we were waiting for. When it did come out they still forgot an item. By then everyone else was just about finished. So we asked them to remove it from our order.
google avatar

TJ D.

Yelp
Les was awesome! Quick service, food came out fast and was delicious. I recommend the Chicken Chiliques! Perfect choice of music and easy going atmosphere. Open 24 hours a day, will be back around 2:30am!

Yelp
It's a nice new place downtown and the menu is pretty extensive depending on the time you're there. We sat at the bar and were greeted and few minutes later and given water. We ordered drinks and food. My wife got her coffee Martini within 2 minutes but my old fashioned took at least 7 or 8 minutes and it was not very good. Our food arrived about 15 minutes after ordering and we noticed that I got a biscuit with bacon not sausage like i ordered but I was hungry so I ate it. The biscuit was pretty yummy light and buttery! My wife got the BBQ Brisket sandwich which was shredded and she was nkt prepared for that but it would have been better if it weren't so greasy! So much grease it made the bun soggy and droolednout on the plate... A little while later the main bartender did offer us new drinks cause the other guy was a rookie I'm guessing and his Old Fashioned was much smoother! All in all a clean, cool spot lots of TV's, a nice bar area, decent service and decent food depending on what you get. I would go back to try something else if I wanted a biscuit but there is lots of competition with really good food to not be 100% happy.

Yelp
This place is soooooo good. They give you huge portions (don't believe the pictures on the menu--they make everything look small). The wildlife scavengers were entertaining, mostly cuz our table was protected. People in the flight zone didn't appreciate the fearless birds who would stop at nothing to snag a bite from your plate. The fried mushrooms and waffles were delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The jackfruit tacos were equally good, and the sautéed vegetables were a perfect side dish. I wish I had more time in San Antonio so I could come back for more.
google avatar

Briane J.

Yelp
The experience here with Halle was amazing! This was my first experience at Alami bisquit and she made it worth it. They offer great breakfast items, and vegan!! I got the hot honey oyster mushrooms and waffles (a must for me) and loved them. Great environment!

Yelp
My daughter and I were in town for the weekend and had breakfast at ABC yesterday. What a lovely experience! It was early and the Riverwalk was quiet and beautiful. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and shown to our booth right away. Our server came by soon after and greeted us with menus. We ordered waters and when she returned with them moments later, we placed our order. I had a side biscuit with strawberry jam and my daughter had the lemon berry waffles, which came with bacon and potato hash. Everything was wonderful! My biscuit was both fluffy and creamy if that even makes sense. My daughter's waffles were so decadent! The bacon was perfectly cooked and the hash was really good. I'm so glad we ventured out for breakfast. :) Service A+ Food A+
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Halle was great and made the experience lovely. The cleanliness of the restaurant was pretty bad. Floors were slick and the bathrooms needed some attention. Food was pretty good - we had the sweet flight and brisket Benedict.
google avatar

Julia T.

Yelp
Keisha was an excellent server and the place had a great vibe right on the Riverwalk. And our brunch was delicious!
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
We loved visiting this location and our server, Keisha, was amazing. Excellent variety and large menu.
google avatar

Yelp
When in Texas...eat barbecue for breakfast! The brisket on a biscuit "sandwich" is probably the best I've ever had. Smoky brisket, just enough cheese, just-right eggs, and that biscuit!
google avatar

Mary V.

Yelp
service was slow and food is too expensive for the quality. I definitely do not recommend.

Yelp
I made reservations for Alamo Biscuit Company & Panaderia - River Walk in San Antonio, TX, for brunch on 5.26.205. Because there were so many staff members buzzing around and several tables open, I thought we would be seated right away. Not so. We waited about 10 minutes before I got the text that they were ready for my party of 3. Service was nice, yet, painfully slow. They also messed up on my daughter's order and omitted cheese on her scrambled eggs. I had forgotten about that and "I didn't want to complain" was what she said when I asked why she wasn't eating her eggs. The waitress stopped by the panaderia to tell the nice lady there that my daughter could pick out a pastry of her choice. Then when the panaderia lady saw my other daughter she told her to pick one out too free of charge. That was very kind. The decor is extremely appealing. The large conchas for outdoor seating shade were so clever. On each dish, they put a little Alamo Biscuit Co. & Panaderia flag - an ode to The Gonzales Cannon & "Come & Take It" flag. Overall, though, I just did not like the food here. The hollandaise sauce alone was a huge miss for me. Slightly overcooked biscuits on my dish. Our order: - Iced Vanilla Latte ($5.50) - Pink Drink ($15) - Topo Chico ($4... the waitress, Leslie R., talked to my youngest daughter into this, and she found out she hated it. Lol) - Coffee (to go for me... $3.50) - Avocado Benedict ($14... their hollandaise sauce was terrible) - French Toast Plate w/ Sunny Side Egg ($16... my youngest didn't even touch her French toast and I found out why - it didn't taste good at all.) - Blueberry Cream Cheese Pancakes w/ Scrambled Eggs (super sweet pancakes... I tried these & did not like these at all. My daughter ate most of it I think. $15) - Add Cheese to Eggs: Cheddar ($1.00) There were several misspellings ("avacado" for avocado & "hollandise" for hollandaise) on the menu itself too which I found odd for such a professional and modern-looking restaurant. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 3 | Service: 3 | Ambiance: 5 | Price: 4

Yelp
Delicious food in the heart of the river walk! My waitress Tashawn was very friendly and attentive. I would happily go back if I'm ever in San Antonio again!
google avatar

Johanna G.

Yelp
Leo was our waitress and she was very attentive, kind and helpful. Brisket fries, 8/10 It has a charred taste for the meat , not bad but not my personal favorite but everyone else enjoyed it. They ran out of caramel creamer for the latte so we opted for Vanilla 9/10 and white chocolate 10/10 Eggs Benedict 8/10 Brisket Taco 10/10 Biscuit French toast 8/10
google avatar

LaDonna R.

Yelp
First time visitors from GA. Food was great, but service was just okay. Once we received our food we didn't see the waiter again until it was time for the check. No refills or even asked if we were enjoying the food. Basically, he took our order and brought the check as the runner served the food.
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
I was staying on the Riverwalk and I saw that this place was open 24 hours so of course I had to try it. The menu looked really extensive so I decided to get breakfast here. I got the Hot Honey Fried Oyster Mushrooms and Waffles. The waffles and sauce were alright but the fried oyster mushrooms tasted kind of dry and they weren't as juicy as typical fried mushrooms. Additionally I got an ABC Blueberry Jam Latte. It was just alright, just a regular latte with a little bit of blueberry jam at the bottom. For $7 it was a bit overpriced.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
Got the pleasure of getting to experience this location during a Yelp event. The location is in such a great area (ITS OPEN 24/7 #win) and the concha umbrellas outside marking where it is is so so so cute! The wait staff is so sweet and helpful! The food is really delicious - the biscuits are soft, nachos delicious, the bee sting spicy and delicious! Come check it out when you get the chance.
google avatar

Glenda G.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent experience. I'm always at home when it comes to the Alamo Biscuit Company. Biscuit could've been my middle name. The first flight were baby biscuits topped with house made jam. And i could tell which fruit each jam came from! It was so authentic! My favorite was the raspberry jam and whipped cream nicely accommodated the soft, flaky, buttery biscuit! I ate all four tho; I'm not gonna front. They were all savory and delicious! The next flight was the savory flight. It was plentiful delicious but I was getting full so I skipped on the nachos and had the baby biscuit with a savory gravy. It came a top of white, buttery sandwich bread. Oh, did i mention that they had a drink called the Alamo Bee Sting? It had jalapeño in it and got very spicy, the longer it sat. Delicious! The longer we sat, the more food they brought, the more I really want to come here and try it all. The ambiance is chill and the waitress is very friendly. And she gave me a regular menu for the hubby. He has to have something too. :) He's having the Brisket Benedict.
google avatar

Wyatt W.

Yelp
While in San Antonio me and the Mrs. decided to try and compare biscuits here in San Antonio versus the biscuit place in Austin. Nice big location right on the riverwalk that apparently opened recently. Upon arriving we asked to be seated outside but were told that even though there were tables available outside we would have to sit inside because they had just sat a party outside so they needed to sit us inside so that other wait staff could get a table.? Ok we sat inside and were greeted by a bubbly waitress. We tried the Chicken Biscuit, the Smoked Sausage Biscuit, and a bacon and egg taco. Both biscuits were very crumbly especially on the edges. The chicken was fried but overcooked creating a chewy piece of chicken. Both biscuits had some scrambled eggs that were cooked extremely hard The stars were the smoked sausage itself and the corn tortilla itself.
google avatar

Keyana L.

Yelp
I had dinner here to celebrate its newest Riverwalk location (open 24/7) We kicked things off with the Alamo Bee Sting cocktail (so good with honey & a jalapeño kick!) Starters: Baby Biscuits with House Made Jam & Savory Gravy Brisket Mac Fries (so good!) ABC Nachos Mains: Nashville Madame Strawberry Biscuit French Toast Brisket Benedict Nashville Hot Biscuit BAD Burger Honey Hot Fried Oyster Mushrooms & Waffles Desserts: Assortment of scratch-made Pan Dulce Highlights: Biscuits made in-house with the best jam & gravy, and the brisket was tender perfection. These are must-have's on the menu! Service: The waitress Gabbi and the rest of the service staff were amazing!! They were so knowledgeable of the menu & super friendly. They all made our evening so much fun. Ambiance: The setting is great. 2 story building right on the riverwalk in a great location. There's a parking garage connected to the plaza. For 3 hours, parking was $15. 2 hours I believe is $10! Additional video highlights are on my Instagram @keyanadeshe

Yelp
In between a 3 and 4. We sat outside which was nice, took a while for our waitress to come by though. Forgot silverware when delivering the food and forgot napkins, but she was nice. The food: Blueberry pancake : Very good but SUPER sugary (my son said expected lol). Side of potatoes were a little soggy. Brisket Biscuit Sandwich: was not impressed. Not much brisket at all and just drowning in disgusting fake cheese Pork Belly Hash: Really good! Good portion too. The pork belly was spot on.

Yelp
Wow! I was out on a walk at the river walk and found this amazing place. They are open 24/7. They also serve breakfast all day. I wanted something small, so I ordered two tacos. One with egg and potatoes and the other with carne guisada and cheese. Both were incredible and the portions were large. I had to take one of the tacos to go. Also ordered shrimp and grits to go. Great flavor on the shrimp and grits. They came with a delicious biscuit. I would absolutely go back. Friendly service, good prices, delicious food. Thank you!
google avatar

Mindy F.

Yelp
Food - biscuits were fluffy and melt in your mouth! Service - Hallie & Sara were excellent and communicated with honesty. Ambiance - just right
google avatar

Deb G.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and come here for breakfast! My friends loved their breakfast tacos, but I got the egg and cheese biscuit and may I say, "yum!!" You can get the egg to order, so I got mine over medium, and the cheese sauce was a very generous amount on top of a fluffy, light biscuit. I also tried their red salsa on my biscuit - soft knock it til you try it. So good! Honestly, I was surprised at how this place was
google avatar

K G.

Yelp
Ethan, our server was incredible. He definitely made our visit better. Delicious food!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Food was good but service was great! Leila was pleasant, personable, great, friendly smile. Made great breakfast suggestions and the dishes didn't disappoint! The restaurant was too cute! Will be back before this visit to San Antonio is up.
google avatar

Beth C.

Yelp
Food was delicious and great service. Get the biscuit sampler as your starter!! They make their own preserves. Still drooling.
google avatar

Juan M.

Yelp
Long wait for a table, longer wait for our order. Even considering we arrived at a peak hour, we waited an hour longer than was quoted for a table, then waited another hour for our order, which was incomplete when finally delivered. Ice tea was served with a few mostly melted ice cubes, and wasn't refilled for nearly 45 minutes. Not surprising for a 24/7 diner, but the place is far from clean. The floor throughout is slick with grease, covered in crumbs. And the food was so-so. Overall not a good experience. Won't be back.
google avatar

Kaila K.

Yelp
The menu is large, seating is plentiful. If you can, grab a seat on the patio. The inside feels cramped, servers walking through tables with food above your heads because there's not enough walking space and the floors inside are dangerously slippery/greasy. The hostess staff seemed scatter brained, our hostess was talking with food in her mouth as we arrived and we came second to her snickers bar. The food was subpar. I sent my avocado benny back twice due to raw biscuit and a very flour/raw taste, but our other biscuits with the Sweet Flight and Brisket Benedict were fine. The coffee bar was swamped, took more than 30 minutes to get our drinks made. Our server rectified the first mistake with the avocado benny right away, but unfortunately the second dish came out raw as well and he quickly resolved it by removing them from the bill. Our server however was fantastic. We would come try it again - this Instagram photo worthy food is worth another shot!
google avatar

LaTaya M.

Yelp
I liked the place. The chicken was seasoned and fried well. But it could have some improvements. Despite asking for our biscuits to be cooked light we were given biscuits that were a little overcooked. Also, the brisket that my husband recieved was bland. Even though we mostly enjoyed our orders there could have been a lot of improvement.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Halle and Leslie were amazing! They were both so attentive and sweet. They made us laugh and made our visit so enjoyable. service was fast and the venue was comfortable and quaint. We are a big family and they handled our frequent order changes and additions with ease. Would definitely eat here again! Highly recommend!

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
Such a fun experience! As a first time San Antonio visitor, I heard a lot about this restaurant and knew I had to stop. Keisha was incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations!! 10/10 recommend.
google avatar

Kit T.

Yelp
So many food options. It was really hard to choose. Everything came out exactly as expected. Big portions, very filling. You may struggle to finish in one sitting. Even the biscuit sandwiches were oversized. Tashawn was a fantastic server, very attentive and very helpful. All the staff was so welcoming and friendly. I will be back for pastries in the middle of the night!

Karen V.

Yelp
Great food and great service Tashawn was great!! Very close to Riverwalk so great view as well
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Food was great. Gracie, the server, is a sweetheart!! Brisket Benedict...wow!! Great coffee. Great service.
google avatar

Keisha L.

Yelp
This establishment is open 24/7 and serves their full menu all day. I got the Yardbird which was their fried chicken and it was amazing! I got Brussel sprouts but they were pretty hard and didn't seem to be cooked all the way through. Our waitress Samantha S was so amazing the entire night. When I told her about the Brussel sprouts not being cooked all of the way with no questions asked she took them back and brought new ones but those were still hard. She allowed me to substitute with corn and again was quick and no questions asked. The service was great! We didn't have to wait and the restaurant environment was pretty great too.
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
Nice place that was close to our hotel and is open 24 hours. Large, so it's good fot big parties, too. Food was fine. Breakfast all day, and eggs dominate the menu. They'd stopped serving two of the items we wanted, so we had to shift and got burgers. 4 of us got burgers and all came out wrong, but they were fine. Service was good. If you're not looking for special, this place will do jilust fine and won't break the bank.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
The biscuits are bomb! The AM bartenders were bomb especially Quinn! Mimosa flights, all 3, were bombs! Ambiance was bomb. Such a really fun experience and food was good. We sat outside at 10 am and the bugs got us. Moved to the bar. Great experience. They are open 24 hours! We will be back this trip!
google avatar

Kelli S.

Yelp
Really great experience. The ambiance is gorgeous, lots of picture worthy walls and decor. The French toast was incredible, a desert experience. I wouldn't get the Nashville hot again, I didn't enjoy the flavor of it, but the biscuit it was on was heaven. Would definitely go again. Oh, the French 75 cocktail was one of the best I've had. Well made.
