Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Las Colinas

Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas was a great experience. In addition to the theater, they have a bar with a patio overlooking the courtyard, which is perfect for people watching and enjoying the weather. The reclining seats are very comfortable, and the wait staff are quick to assist upon initial check-in before the film begins. My only caveat is that the staff don’t check in as often during the movie. I was only able to order one drink over the hour and thirty minutes I was there. It would’ve been nice to order dessert and another drink toward the end of the movie. Overall, I’d definitely go again.

Wonderful theater and very friendly staff. Food was also good but drinks were quite pricy. Went for a special 40th Anniversary "party" screening of Back to the Future and had a great time!

Love this theater. I have a season pass here so I go pretty frequent and walk from my house. Typically the staff is pretty attentive, but I have had a few occasions where the theater was empty and they did not serve me until I went to the front box office to request service. Other than that though, the food is good and I love how easy the service is.

Great time watching my son's movie premiere, "Polaroid." Merik McDonald and several other seniors from New Tech High School viewed their class films at this theater. From start to end, the experience was great. Alamo showed a very clean facility, and the serving staff was very professional and quick in their service. Indeed, this place is really good to hold group events at. 5-Star rating all around

Best Dinner Movie Theater Ever!!!! Normally at movie theaters you avoid any actual food cuz its either microwave quality or stale from being out all day- this place makes their food fresh and everything weve tried so far has been amazing and good restaurant quality!!! Not to mention they have a bar and flavored popcorn!!! I do also like that their content before the trailers are tailored to each movie sometimes in obscure ways you wont know till you watch it which is kinda fun to figure out. They are always very very clean and everyone working there is so polite and nice. Please try it out- its really is our favorite theater

I have some good experience in the past with this cinema but this time it was perhaps the worst experience so far. I was excited for the Resident Evil 9 video game promo with the horror movies and being a big Resident Evil fan so I checked in and it said that the movie won't start until or the seating won't start until 9:15 p.m. so I asked the bartender if I could use my voucher before the movie starts. sadly, there's a problem. so it seems that due by the policies and rules I can't able to use my voucher to order anything of the Resident Evil menu until the movie starts which was 915pm. and it was almost 7:30 and very hungry. I thought I could use the voucher before the movie starts. it was a really bad idea to do a promotion that I can't able to enjoy the voucher until seating instead of date of purchase. ARE YOU CRAZY? ARE YOU INSANE? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? I hope they do better next time. Leon The Bartender did a great job. GOD BLESS🙏🏻

Went for the first and last time today. It was a slow Sunday, maybe 3 whole parties in the theatre. Ordered a drink shortly after sitting down. Put a new order up for another drink and popcorn about 15 minutes into the movie. No server ever came. After about 30 minutes I finally went to the employee hall upstairs and had to ask for help. Drink and popcorn finally came At the end of the movie (by then I didn’t really want or need it)along with a $75 tab. That’s for 2 drinks and an order of popcorn. Automatic 18% gratuity for a server that didn’t serve. Asked about my $25 drinks and server never came back nor was there a manager obviously present. Also, My card was ran without permission (was possibly going to pay another way, but never got the chance because of the absent server). Seemed like a cool concept, but I will be sticking to my regular theaters from now on. I see why Alamo Drafthouse has already gone out of business once, they keep up these practices it won’t be long before it happens again.

Grossly overhyped, in my opinion. I went for the first time today, and the auditorium was a small one with 3 rows. I did like the 30 minute pre-show, but it was not a standout in any way. The recline on the chairs were too little. I did not find anything intriguing about the pen-and-paper dining service, or the server flitting between the rows while the movie played. Food is extremely overpriced with 18% mandatory service fee. I simply couldn't place my finger on why this place charges the rates they do. This isn't to blame this particular branch of Alamo, but I guess my dissatisfaction is with their business idea/offering/concept as a whole. To those of you who've not been to Alamo, you're not missing out at all.

Awesome concept w serving at seats. You write on a card & they check in periodically. Food is delish. Would recommend the truffle popcorn (ask for extra seasoning) Didn't like that the seats don't recline if you're in the 2D standard. Haven't seen a big box movie but I'd image that's a better experience. Make sure you validate your parking! Up to 8 hours.

I'd love to be able to love this Alamo Drafthouse but they make it so difficult. First and foremost the location within Toyota Music Factory is not the best place for a movie theater. Especially on event nights, traffic and parking is too much to deal with just to see a movie. Ticket prices are also higher than other theaters, made even worse due to the "tourism tax" (I guess?) since it's located within TMF. Ends up over 18% in taxes for your tickets if bought at the box office. Even more if booking ahead on the app. This tax (or "service charge" as they call it) also carry's over to the bar and food, only now it ends up being nearly 28% in taxes. By the time you give the 20+% tip, we're talking nearly 50% of taxes, fees, tip. A positive is their great selection of beers reasonably priced for "theater beer" at $6.50 - $9 a pint. I'd really like to be able to go here more often but there are equally good choices MUCH easier on the wallet not much further away.

Edit-UPDATE Thank you for your response. While I appreciate the effort to address the situation, it falls short of what I would consider "good customer service." My goal is not solely to help improve future experiences for others, but to address and rectify the bad experience we had, especially since it impacted my daughter's birthday. So let me make sure I get this straight, you want me to come back in and spend MORE money with you versus making the first poor experience, right? Ummm...NO. I spent $100 for a daytime movie along with a mediocre meal of pizza and chicken fingers. For that price, I expected much better quality and service. Your reply lacks any meaningful attempt to correct the situation or make amends for the disappointment we experienced. I expected more accountability and a genuine effort to resolve this matter in a professional manner.

Told the server when I came in that I had a gift card. She asked for my card to run a tab but I told her that I planned to use the gift card. She never returned. I had to wait until the movie was over, luckily found her so she could charge the gift card instead of my credit card. Then had to ask her for proof the gift card was charged in case my bank account gets debited. She's like 'oh..you want proof?' Um, yeah especially since you're taking the gift card from me. I think she was a little...high. Movie was great, food was meh. I was happy though because I'd been waiting a LONG time to see the movie I saw, so my judgment is a bit off. But it was a great movie. I wouldn't recommend coming here on the night of a concert event though. I'm writing this from the parking lot waiting for all the cars to leave. Or if you live close enough, walk or Uber. I'm Uber distance not walking.

I've typically had good experiences at other Alamo locations, but my visit to the Las Colinas location tonight was incredibly disappointing. The service and food were awful. My pizza was forgotten, and I had to remind the waiter, who had clearly overlooked it. My husband's chicken tenders were cooked in bad oil, and the gravy was watery. Despite holding up a card twice for a soda refill, it wasn't brought out until I had to personally flag down the waiter to request it. Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning.

I am a huge Alamo fan. I love their quiet zone policy, they validate up to 8 hours for parking, the food is decent, free drink refills, great bar when it's open, clean restrooms and nice staff. The las colinas location has been hit or miss. I think they must be short staffed because today it took over 90 minutes to get my pizza when others who ordered before me got their pizza after 30 minutes. The theater was not packed but seemed there was only one person dropping off orders. Come on Alamo, I know you can do better.

Good theatre. Clean bathrooms, clean seating and friendly staff. No recliner seats. Server was attentive. Great location. Parking validation, just let the front desk know. I believe it's covered up to four hours. Chicken tenders and veggie supreme pizza were delicious, but pricey.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the theatre but the food service was extremely delayed and customer service could be improved. I placed my order at the beginning of the movie and received it in the last 10 minutes of the showing. I felt myself having to rush through my food since the movie was towards the end. In terms of customer service, the waitresses didn't ask my group of 3 whose food was who. They simply placed the food in front of the nearest person to the wall and kept walking. We had to figure it out and switch the plates around. I understand many theatre locations may not have enough staff to accommodate for customer needs but communication is necessary whenever there are delays. Thank you.

I'm of the opinion that the best way to watch a movie is in a theater, and the best theater to do that in is the Alamo Drafthouse. There's just something about Alamo that makes the moviegoing experience better ... and my husband and I were excited to introduce some family members to this extra special theater for a showing of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." We purchased tickets online the day before for a 6:10 movie, and paid attention to the website's direction that it's best to arrive 30 minutes early. I had never been to this particular location before, but can see how this spot could get very busy during a concert at the Toyota Music Factory. I appreciate that Alamo doesn't play ads before the movie, but instead tailors its previews to the movie that you're about to see. We loved the throwback Spider-Man comics and cartoons, and the brief history lessons about some of the characters we were about to meet. We shared a few things for dinner, including the buffalo chicken pizza, the buffalo cauliflower, and the chicken tenders. They were unfortunately out of the "I Want All of You" pretzel, so we settled for their regular soft pretzel, which was still quite tasty. The chicken tenders were particularly delicious - crispy, hot, and well-seasoned. We also liked the buffalo cauliflower, but found the pizza to be a miss. The crust was too thin for the sheer amount of toppings piled onto each slice, and didn't really work as a handheld. Even still, our service was great - and all of our food came out just as the movie was starting. I'll continue to hold Alamo in the highest regard as far as movie theaters are concerned - and can't wait to check out another location soon!

The food was bad, $5 service fee when it was horrible. She came every 40min, and I didn't even get my food, btw $40 for wings, and 3 drinks.

The guy in the front was really nice but the time policy is too much. we arrived 3 minutes late and they did not let us go in

Alamo has spoiled me and now I have trouble going to other theaters. -I love the videos they show before the previews. Before superhero movies, you can see funny short videos. -They are very good about enforcing the rules so I get to enjoy the movie in peace. In general once the previews begin, no one talks. -The theater is usually fairly clean. -They have special showings for people who want to make noise during the movie (sing alongs, baby day to watch with babies, etc.). -Sometimes I go to other movie theaters with better seats (reclining, pairs, etc.) and better food. Other theaters are stepping up their food options & Alamo's menu is getting less and less exciting. If you go often, you'll probably find a safe, go-to option and stick with it.

This cinema is in a very cool complex connected to the Music Factory in Las Colinas. The box office is totally automated, touch screens and is right there as soon as you enter. You can pre-order your tickets and pick them up there. Pick your seats and all the things you can do at any other theatre. They have an elevator to get up to the main floor. What was amazing was there was no one taking tickets, you just walked right to your theatre, it was convenient, smooth and just relaxing with no hassle what so ever. The actually theaters are very cool, you have a table with a light to read the menu. The service was really good, they take your way of payment before you order that way you aren't dealing with it during the best part of the movie (the end) and their menu is full of lots of very tempted entrees, shareable and beers. Their beer list was great, I recommend the Oak Leaf, it was quality. The only down side is the seats down recline, but they are still crazy comfortable and you have a lot of space. So sit back, relax and enjoy your shot at the Alamo Drafthouse. And after relax in their Drafthouse right on property with around 40 beers on tap and a super cool roof top terrace that overlooks the square. It's really the only movie theater I can think of where I would actually hang out after the movie is over. Love the concept and hope to see more and more like these around.

They sent out the wrong food order. No one came by to check on me for more than 20 minutes. I left theatre to find an employee to correct my order and no employee was around so I spent more than 15 minutes wondering around looking for someone to tell. Once I did find someone, they noted they would take care of the meal for the time spent interrupting the film... after the film ended, the manager did not take care of the meal and I had to pay.

Went here for the first time today and had an okay experience overall! My friend and I got the buttered popcorn which was delicious, the warmed chocolate chip cookies which were a little too cooked and the pizza - angry version which was not as spicy as we thought it would be. We got there a little early and was surprised by the vibes of the theater. It was a little old fashioned and we wished the seats would recline more but the desks were cute and the paper to write our orders was one of a kind! Our waiter was so friendly and so quick but we were not a fan of people walking during the movie!

I've seen a few movies here over the years and Alamo Drafthouse is doing it right. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the audio/video quality is top notch. My only complaint is that the seats don't recline despite being recliners. However, they are still pretty comfy--I'm just nitpicking. The overall moviegoing experience is pretty great here, and I enjoy having a decent meal and a beer while I watch the latest blockbuster movies. One last thing--try the popcorn with truffle seasoning. It's awesome!

I actually really enjoyed my experience at Alamo Drafthouse. I purchased my movie tickets online and proceeded to make my way to the theatre. It was a very simple process. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was from the bathrooms to the actual theatre. Unfortunately, they do not have reclining chairs yet, which is a major downfall for me because I felt uncomfortable sitting upright after awhile. The experience was great overall. You literally don't have to worry about anything except for deciding what you want to eat/drink and then writing it down. The staff was really friendly. I ate dinner before watching my movie so I am unable to speak on how everything tasted, but I did take a peek at the menu. They offer a variety of different items and if you are calorie conscious, there are a lot things on the menu that have the estimated calorie count next to the item. I did order a sugar free red bull & it was brought out to me shortly. I must say, it was a little distracting having the staff members frequently walking around during the movie. Of course, I understand they are simply doing their job in taking orders, delivering food, and collecting payments but it was distracting nonetheless. Lastly, I really like how structured Alamo is. I can sense they are big on providing a quality experience and it shows in the way in which they maintain the place and treat their customers. I highly recommend and now I have a cool place to watch movies!

They charge $9 for soda, and I asked 4 times for a refill, and after an hour, I attached a second note saying 'It sucks to charge $9 for a soda and then refuse to bring a refill' and was kicked out of the movie for violating the 'code of conduct.' What?

Finally saw a movie again, in at theater! Alamo Draft House in Las Colinas is such a gem - we've lived here for over a year and we're glad we decided to check it out last Friday. Incase you're wondering the entrance is on the backside between Gloria's and the The Yard House. Great food - my personal go-to is the Beyond Meat burger w a gluten free bun. Ginormous bowls of popcorn, properly made cocktails, comfy seats, great service and an all around good time. Clean bathrooms too!

I went to Alamo for a brunch screening as a date and it was lovely. The facility was clean and well-kept, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. If you are smart about which screenings you buy for, ticket prices are very reasonable. Dinner theaters are all about the experience, and this was a very good one. I like that they have special screenings of classic movies, so I'll be back when they show any of my old favorites!

Alamo Drafthouse is back and with a new menu. I appreciate that they've brought back a lot of frequently requested menu items like pickle SPEARS (not fries) and the brussels sprout pizza. Service was fine but the food did take awhile to come out considering I was at an early matinée showing with very few other people in the theater. Overall - cool vibes and good food.

I go here often, because it is close to me. The movie selections are good and the drinks are great. The food is adequate, nothing great. I recently had a horrible service experience and contacted them through their website. I got a long one page email making excuses for the poor service, an apology and assurance that they spoke to their team. I used to be in the food industry and I was trained to say little, apologize and be done. This manager, Clint, must have had training to make excuses for the poor service. Be warned, service is inconsistent and you are really there for the movie. Just get liquor and snacks and avoid the horror of food service.

Service was great. Food was okay. There was a weird smell in the hallways, almost like the restroom stink which was a little off putting but the theatre was fine.

My favorite Alamo location in the Metroplex. The food is also a bit better at this location too. Not sure why but they really know what they are doing here.

This was my first visit to Alamo Drafthouse. The environment is nice, and it is super easy to purchase tickets onsite. Once we decided where we wanted to sit we noticed the seats did not recline. When I went back to customer service they moved our seats to the only reclining seats on the front row with no problem and no charge. The problem occurred when we received our food. This took about 30-45 minutes to come out, and it was cold. I ordered wings, and when I received them they were undercooked.. I am always a bit skeptical about eating in the dark, as you can not see what you are consuming. If you order food from here be sure to use your flashlight to make sure you food is safe to eat. Additionally, it was rather expensive for mediocre food, and the popcorn was dry. I rated it was one star, because I would not have known the food was raw if I had not used my flashlight.

I bought a groupon and ended up coming here for under $7 - score! It was my first time coming to the Alamo and I'm open to it not being my last. Though the theater was nice and clean, the staff swell, and parking not too shabby, the menu was way overpriced and the seats didn't recline (took me a while to realize it wasn't gonna happen). Since I was treating myself, I did go ahead and order 3 chocolate chip cookies (minimum) a la mode (extra), which cost me around $10 minus tip. Sadly, my cookies were a little overdone and not as chewy as I'd like. My vanilla bean ice cream was top notch though. The waiter was very helpful and came by during the previews to inform me how the ordering process worked. He was very discreet as to not interrupt movie viewing while still doing his job and being alert to patrons in the theater wanting to order. The view upstairs overlooking the Toyota Music Factory is quite beautiful. The area is lovely and the vibes were all good here, so I'm definitely still digging the Alamo. I just think if the menu is going to be highly priced, the quality needs to match.

They never brought my food. Everyone around me got thiers orders except for me. I waited 35 minutes and nothing. I told the order taker to cancel my order . Another 15 minutes pass by and they brought it. I told them I already cancelled it. The bill comes and they charged me twice for something they never brought me. If you want to watch a movie without food this is the place.

As a result of the service I received from the general manager yesterday 8/4/2023, I am writing this letter with great disappointment. Not sure if his name is Jason but he was extremely rude and made facial expressions showing he didn't care about what I had to say. He didn't resolve my issue. The explanation he provided was not satisfactory, and he refused to send me emails about the transaction. Here is a recap of why I am launching this complaint. On 7/14/2023, I came to your establishment to watch the Mission Impossible movie. Mark was my server and he was good. I ordered a Salted Caramel Shake, chicken tenders and a salad. Unfortunately, the tenders were too dry and tasted like they were burned a little bit. I asked the waiter to take them back, which he did. He informed me that they would comp that and only charge me for the shake which was totally fine with me. My issue was that when I looked at my bank account there was a double charge for the shake and my first order. I have attached the receipts to this email. Including my bank statement. So since I live less than 5 minutes from your establishment, I decided to stop by after work to see if the issue could be addressed. I called the manager, he came down, and I explained what happened. He said he would go to the office to research the charges and get back to me. So I walked to the bar and waited for him. He returned and advised me that the charges had been reversed and the amount had been sent to me. I advised him that my bank statement did not reflect that at all. I showed him through my phone my bank statement through my online banking app showing that whatever he insinuated didn't happen. He said there was nothing he could do for me .He said that he did his part and there is nothing he could do. At this point I'm thinking about where the money went. He informed me to talk to the bank. I told him that the bank advised me that if there were any charges posted by mistake, I needed to speak to the merchant to resolve the issue. At this point, he was unwilling to help or assist. So I asked him to speak to his manager. He went on and said that he was the general manager and there was nothing he could do. I asked if he reported to anyone and that's the person I needed to talk to. He said no and only gave me this email to launch my compliant. He refused to give me copies of the transactions showing a credit back to my account to present to the bank. So I proceeded and took a picture of him which I have attached below to remember who I spoke to. He called security on me. If this is the kind of service people get when they complain about an overcharge and the refund is not reflected on their bank account, I am truly disappointed. This is below expectations or delivering poor customer service. This is basically stealing from your customers. All I wanted was a refund to my account but that didn't happen. We arrived maybe 10 minutes after the movie showing time. Previews of course, and we weren't allowed to enter. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! There is no rule stating we would not be able to enter after the movie showing time. So it's like school, when the bell rings if you're not in your seat you can't enter. I'm grown as hell. I paid my money. Will never come back.

It's a fancy dine in theater. I do feel the prices are a bit much. My bill was over $90 just for myself. I bought a ticket, ordered two cocktails and purchased an entree. Their prices are equivalent to dinning at a restaurant especially if you include alcohol. It's a little more than other local dine-in theaters, the only difference is those theaters have reclining seats. Alamo Drafthouse does not. The plus about their location is, that they're surrounded by restaurants. Next trip I would most likely eat out before catching a movie here again. The customer service was friendly and the theater was very clean.

Should have went to another place. No concession stand to buy snacks. They have you order at your seats but no one ever came by.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is the a movie theater located in Irving's Toyota Music Factory. As the name implies, it combines plenty of beers on tap, scratch food, and an awesome no cell phone policy so that you watch a movie in an incredible experience. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in the heart of the Toyota Music Factory, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema feels more like a cool boutique theater vs. a huge mega plex. There are 7 screens here but less is more. There's a bar with tons of beers on draft and an outdoor patio. It overlooks the Toyota Music Factory and is a really cool scene. The only drawback is parking can be an issue. But this is a TMF issue. 1 Star. Service - The service is superb - from the bartenders to the servers in the theater, you'll get the food and drink you want. They start seating 30 minutes before your movie, so it gives you plenty of time to settle in, order, and relax before the film. 1 Star. Experience - Alamo Draft House has a no cell phone policy. If you're on your phone for any reason during the film you be warned. The second time results in removal with no refund. I love this policy because you get to enjoy the movie. The seats are just ok. Well padded but with limited recline. Each seat has a table so you can eat/drink. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the seats but I am a fan of the policy. Finally - the food is actually pretty good. It is pricy, but you can order truffle butter popcorn that is the best movie theater popcorn. Ever. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. It's in a great location for those who live and work in Irving's Las Colinas area. Couple a great food/drink experience with a no cell phone policy makes a return visit a no brainer. 1 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

I have been bringing community groups here and coming for years. Today we showed up 17 minutes after start time (knowing that previews take at least 15 minutes) and we were denied entry and treated with disrespect. I have never had this happen before, and don't know how that makes sense. What if you have to leave the room to use the bathroom? In any case, I felt discriminated against and will not be bringing groups here anymore or attending any movies. New management and it reflects.

I have to say I hate to be the first one to review this place because I feel the theater will get better the longer it is open. We went to the soft opening on Friday and it had only had its doors open since Tuesday. There were definitely some kinks the wait staff still need to work out so in understanding that I gave them an extra star instead of just two. But here are a few things we didn't like and wish we would've known beforehand. 1.) The theater recommends you be there at least an hour early so you can sit in your seat early and order early. However, there is no place outside the theater rooms to sit and wait and nothing to do other than go to the bar. The stairs take you straight up to the theaters and it is rather awkward. We just stood around in the narrow hall outside the theater. 2.) only the very front row has seats that recline all the way. I feel the website is misleading. The rest of the seats recline approximately 3-5 inches back. 3.) they said if you park in the parking garage they will validate your parking and call it "Free" well it is not free. They only validate for 2 hours total. Most movies are that much in length if not longer, then you count the 30 min they suggest you be there early, then the walk to and from the parking garage. We ended up paying for two extra hours. 4.) I am on crutches and we do not like front row. We asked how many stairs there were for each row. Two staff members both told us one stair per row. You pre-order tickets so I decided I could at least get up 4 stairs. Well there is actually 4 stairs per row so I climbed 16 stairs. With the theater being packed and seats being pre- chosen I kind of just had to deal with it. I decided at that point I wouldn't drink with my meal because there was no way I was getting g up stairs twice 5.) this is not your typical movie theater that offers both concession food and order from your seat food. This is order from your seat only. There is a popcorn and 4-5 choices of candy and that is it when it comes to normal movie food. Expect real food and real food prices Now to some positives 1.) seats are comfy overall 2.) we tried 4 different food options and all were good 3.) if you like to drink and watch movies this is your place!

Hey it's a draft house. Movie choices are current, food is ok, standard pub fair. I saw a shake and it looked huge. When I ordered my alcohol version it was much smaller so maybe that is a tip?? Great location across from the open air /Free part of the Toyota Music Pavilion.

I was recently at the Cedars location and saw an ad for A Nightmare On Elm Street 3:Dream Warriors on Terror Tuesday (11/5). I could have been kicked out, I was so excited. I immediately violated all theatre etiquette, looked it up on my phone and purchased my tickets. Time passed. I waited. Then, Terror Tuesday arrived, and I headed to the Las Colinas Alamo Drafthouse. I was so excited that I was an hour early, and wearing my Freddy Shirt! I decided to sit at the bar with my companion. The only downside to the night was the young lady bartender. She did not want to be there at all. She was overserving one guy while actively trying to talk people that were more than an hour away from their movie showtimes out of ordering food. I told her I needed a minute to view the drink menu, and I ended up having to flag her down 10 minutes later. There were only 3 people at the bar, so I am not sure why she was on the computer so much. I didn't want to drink on an empty stomach, so I decided to snag an app. Though I too was an hour out she tried yo discourage me, saying "You could just wait for your movie to start." Why didn't she want to just do it? Anyways, can't kill my Krueger vibe. The server in the theatre was adorable and wonderful. She was well on her A game and totes made up for the bar server. The movie was great, the souvenirs were AMAZING (see photos) and I cannot wait until they show another Elm Street flick. Trust me, I will be waiting!

I want to like this place so bad, but the food and system is totally disappointing. Their paper ordering system for food means you sit 20 minutes without service. I ordered a Cobb salad that is supposed to come with ranch. I got my salad and it was dry. I wrote on the note, "Ranch please, my salad didn't have any" because I didn't want to be charged for an extra side of ranch. When they finally took my sheet and brought me ranch, the cup was as just dropped on the little table passive aggressively. The cup only was a quarter of the way full. My friend had to give me her ranch she ordered for her fries to eat my salad. She also asked for ketchup four times and never received any. Her husband had to go to the bar and get some. Why go to movie with dine-in service if you don't get service?

Great food and great service! A little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I wish the chairs would recline.

Went to the bar here because the beer selection and atmosphere has always been pretty good. For some reasons n this time it was about 15 min and a re-ask between when I said the beer selection wanted and when I got it. Not impressed

Love this place. One afternoon, on the Fourth of July, I had chilaquiles and two mimosas here. (Way more advanced menu, than studio movie grill). Not to mention a comped ticket--thanks to the ratchet girls who would not shut up during the entire movie we had seen months before. Oh and about that (thus the four stars). They promise to remove people, after the second warning of being too loud. However, I don't think they stand by this policy. These girls were MAD ANNOYING (New York accent)! But hey, they gave each and every one of us, a free ticket! So I always come back :) Plus I have to say, the girls were VERY drunk and very entertaining. And the movie was a silly one....So hey, what are you gonna do!

I like it other than the seats don't recline in all the theaters, and this alamo as many are, the food quality is below par and the beer selection is uninspired.

Best theater in the DFW area. The previews for each film are uniquely selected to match the genre or history of the film. For Spider-Man, they were playing old Spider-Man commercials and clips from international Spider-Man films. For Jurassic world, they were all dinosaur themed. Even the menus are unique for the big movies. For ant man, they had a miniature menu you had to use a magnifying glass to read; it was absurd but something I'll never forget. Their food is also really good for dining theaters. AMC is cafeteria food in comparison. If you're in DFW, you have to at least try one of these theaters once.

Seats don't recline, so they aren't the most comfortable. Also, the ticket prices are advertised to be $13.50, but the only ticket options on the kiosk showed the prices to be $15.96 each. I asked about it and they chalked it up as a "service charge," yet the kiosk nor the menu board that had the prices said nothing about it & neither did the receipt.

I used to live in Austin and loved going to the Drafthouse. Now that I've moved to DFW, having one so close is great. I went there recently and it was fantastic. The food was spot on and the service was great.

the aesthetic is cool, no recliners, food was expensive and it was so small and not that great. i wouldn't go back. service was good the young man who waited on us was very kind and patient
