Great new updated theater in the heart of Mercado, a dining & shopping experience! Fun to order food & drink while watching a movie with kids! Easy & fun for the family!

4 stars because although it is a great experience, the volume in the theatre has seemed to be too low the last 3 times I've gone, hope it's something they work on soon. My girlfriend and I come here at least once a month. The theatre is so comfortable with tons of leg room. The seats recline and you even get a little table for your food. The food is always amazing. You can order food and drinks, including alcohol, all from the comfort of your seat inside the theatre. Just make sure to get there like 30 minutes before the showing to not interrupt the movie to order food. All in all, Im so happy to have this theatre only be an hour away from me, always makes for a great time.

11 screens 1,100 seats Located on the second floor of The Strada at Mercato. The Silverspot Cinema opened on September 11, 2009. Operated by the Venezuelan based Cines Unidos chain, their first in the United States, it catered for an adult audience. It is also home to the Naples Film Festival which is held every November. The cinema has 1,100 luxury leather armchair seats in its auditoriums. There is no ticket office at the theatre, and tickets can be purchased on-line or at automated ticket machines. There is a 20-seat lounge which serves wine and a 65-seat restaurant. It was taken over by Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas on April 29, 2024.

The external ‘fluff’ is great, but this the movie theater not a rec room. My why not give it a try, despite the logic of a movie theater with continuous food service throughout only reinforced that I should listen to my gut, common sense. The place is supposed to be a MOVIE THEATER first and foremost. Impossible to enjoy a movie With servers moving back-and-forth in front of you, The visual aspect of the movie is disturbed and with servers talking Even in low tones-Alamo’s policy is no talking for a customers during the movie ironically-is disruptive. This is not a movie experience. If you don’t Care about visual disruption during a visual experience, the movie, then this is a great place, but if you come to enjoy a movie, go elsewhere.. I guess this is what happens when a non-American company with other than American standards, runs an American venue.

I took my boys to watch the Shaun of the dead 20th anniversary show and it was what they called a “movie party”. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they gave us several bits of swag that was themed to the movie ahead of the showtime and the theater worker was dressed for the part as well. Once inside, we ordered our food and they bring it directly to you and are available whenever you need throughout the movie. Before the movie started, the host came in to run down how everything worked and they had a chugging competition with water and coke and who could do the best zombie impression for a pair of movie tickets to come back. My son participated and had fun doing it. The ticket price and food are expensive overall, so it may not be the place you go every time, but it’s a fun experience for sure and the reclining leather seats are awesome. It’s a decent trek from Lehigh where we live for sure at an hour away, but it’s a fun time if you love the movies like we do. We will be back again!

I rarely ever write reviews, let alone negative ones, but I felt like I had to in this case. I went to try the new theater after Silverspot was replaced. I heard it was good. I was very exciting to see the 20th anniversary showing of Pride and Prejudice (2005 version) and I knew that there was a new concept here of dinner and a movie. All was well once we got into the theater. The second the staff came to ask us if we wanted any food or drink, a few minutes before the movie would start, I realized quickly that there were going to be interruptions and distractions from the film. I understand and appreciate the concept of being served food while watching a movie. On paper it sounds nice, but in reality is ruins the movie experience. Many times throughout the movie staff walked across the rows to deliver food or receive orders, it was a total distraction as staff obviously can pass by in your row right in front of you, blocking your vision. Anyway, most disappointing was when one of the staff was blocking the screen during the part of the movie I looked forward to the most. Again, maybe I am just the odd man out, who doesn’t understand the concept of dinner and a show, but who wants to watch a movie when people are blocking the scenes and distracting you from the immersion of the film? I hate to say it and I never do, but I actually wouldn’t go back here. I rather visit regal or paragon where I know I’m not going to have my vision blocked and attention taken from the film multiple times.

This is the worst representation of an Alamo Drafthouse i have ever seen. As a big Alamo fan , my family and I were excited to finally come and see a movie here. To start, the place is tiny. Very tiny. Just one floor with a few theaters and one tiny bar. The bartender was a rude old man btw. The drink he made ? Terrible. The food was pretty decent, but lacks the creativity or dishes some other locations had/have. Our server was amazing ( Hispanic girl ), and the other servers were equally amazing. The mini golf concept is cool since the theater literally is as big as a living room..but you have to pay (which is sad). We certainly will never be back

Very clean, no sticky feet like other theaters. Food is on par with a simple bar & grill. Service is great, though delivering food throughout the film, you almost don't notice them, zero disruption to the film. Great experience, will go again.

Yelp
First time visiting this Alamo location and it exceeded my expectations! Huge fan of Alamo drafthouse and this one does not disappoint. Service was amazing and the value of the food is incredible. Loved how clean and comfortable the facility was. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Neat vibe--celebratory of film and fun, slightly above average food and drinks **for a movie theater** but still a tad pricey for what's being offered. Mini golf is a fun novelty for first time visitors but likely something bypassed during repeat visits. Seating capacity is on the smaller side which is nice and also a necessity, IMO, for the in-movie food & beverage service provided. Seats are comfortable recliners with ample space between you and the next guest. Audio/video quality is as you would expect at any good theater today. The execution of the in-movie food/beverage service however was an absolute disaster, so much so that it detracted from the entire movie enjoyment experience. We filled out the handwritten card and pressed the order button during the previews: 2 cocktails, a diet coke and 1 popcorn. 20 minutes later we had to flag down a different server to inquire about our order's status. He seemed puzzled and asked what we ordered, which I repeated. ~10 mins later we received half our order accompanied by two rain check tickets and a popcorn voucher along with sincere apologies for the missed order. Shortly after, we received our diet coke and popcorn. Later in the movie I placed a second drink order which took 3 minutes to be picked up. 15 minutes later our row was alerted to "last call" and I again mentioned that I hadn't received my order. 10 minutes later we were brought the check and alerted that the bar had "missed our order" but that the drink was being made now. ~5 mins later I received my second drink. It was clear others were having similar issues and the servers seemed to constantly be ducking and talking to other patrons about their orders which overall was very distracting, and mind you, our theater was probably only about 30% full. Logistically the in-movie food/beverage service was a failure. The button feature seems flawed vs. an app-based function. Hard to tell if there were issues with specific servers, the overall system, or both, but if these issues aren't corrected quickly, this might be the Alamo's last stand.

Yelp
A movie theatre that doesn't sell bottled water?!?! This is a bar that shows movies. Food is VERY marginal. Nit a fan, will not be planning movies here.

Yelp
First night opened. Been waiting months. We were regulars in NC. Not loving this one and hope they make changes. Service was excellent as always. Food excellent as always. We went there only for dinner and drinks. Atmosphere.... dumb. Seriously. Get rid of mini golf and put in tables to eat at. People will come. Drafthouse but drafts are hidden. Not even sure what beers they sell, its not clear. Kitchen weirdly " curtained" in. It feels " temporary". Demographics here: older, $, and want to eat and drink. Want good " old movies", not weird stuff. Demographics here: conservative, not liberal. Market to your demographics. And what happened to boozy shakes? Where did they go?

Yelp
We were so excited for Alamo Drafthouse Cinema-Naples to open. Opening days definitely had some challenges. When our wine order arrived we thought, this is a joke, right? $15 for what? We were told it was a 6z. pour. Clearing not. See my attachment. Plus, the wine selection was not great. So much more to say about our wine experience, but I'll move on to the popcorn service. The popcorn was the best and delicious, but you could not order and take into the theater. We had to wait for a server to come to our seat to take our order. Then 30 minutes or so prior to the movie ending a server, like a ninja, shows up and asks to take away your credit card from your site to charge for the popcorn. No one whats to risk having their credit card compromised. They need to rethink this service. Sadly, no matter how wonderful the popcorn was, we won't be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
Food's great, the service is impeccable. the atmosphere of the theatres is exactly what i was looking for. thank you alamo drafthouse!! The mini golf is super cool, and thank you for air conditioning. The boozy shakes are great. everything is great. thank you!

Yelp
Going by yourself, expect bad and long service times, the servers pay more attention to bigger parties, I had my button pushed and still no one came, waited 10 minutes and had to go find a server myself, they also don't take away your beer glasses and plates

Yelp
Alamo drafthouse in Naples was much needed. I have never been but am so glad I went. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. We got to the theater early to play a round of mini golf and had a great time. The theater was such an improvement over Silverspot. This will be our new go to theater moving forward!
