Alamo Drafthouse Cinema New Mission

The theater comes across as an ostentatiously decorated palace somewhat chintzy. Spacious and high ceilinged with excellent line of sights . Film programming is imaginative; today was first time here and the print of The Conversation was pristine. Great sound. But their fetish for posters of Bruce Lee films is limiting to their aesthetics, projecting a coolness that fails to impress. And must we eat while we see films? I have a pet peeve against there even when listening to Jazz at music venues.

One of my favorite movie spots in the city. They have a bar area if you want to grab a few drinks before the movie. You can get food and drinks while you’re watching a movie. The seats are comfy and spacious. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the middle of the row as there is enough room to get up and not disturb anyone. I don’t know what they put in the popcorn but it is addictive. Even if you’re not hungry, you will finish a bowl. I love the Parmesan popcorn but the spicy popcorn is delish too.

My favorite big theater in SF. Delicious food and drinks options. Hardworking and friendly staff. I love the addition of food/drink service during the movie. The seats are comfortable. You will have a small table to put food and drinks, with a small light under the table to use to write out drink/food orders, at which point a busser will squat/waddle out to you, take the paper order and eventually squat/waddle back with your order. Thank you staff. Y'all are awesome and I appreciate all of you that are doing the squat /waddle! And everyone else working here, you've all been great every time I've come in. I hope to be back soon❤️

Visited to see Wicked and had a great time. The food is awesome, the drinks are well made, and the theatres are cozy with an old timey feel. *Word to the wise, the carolina reaper wings are delicious but absolutely as spicy as advertised.

I mostly just love this place. The model of being served hot food while you watch a movie is fantastic. There is some variation in the food quality and it is maybe a bit expensive for what you get (although most food feels that way these days). I do wish they were into more movies that aren’t super dark and intense, but this seems to be the artistic direction they’ve chosen.

First time going here a couple of nights ago and this Alamo Drafthouse is amazing! I’ve been to a few when I lived in Texas but this one is by far the most beautiful. The seats and tables are really spacious and the servers are so fast with your order. Also, the screen we were at was huge! It felt like we were alone in there. It was my man’s first time going to an Alamo Drafthouse and he LOVED it. It felt like my first time going to one too even though it wasn’t. The large movie posters in the lobby are awesome. We’re definitely going back again. Oh the lemonade is delicious!

Had an awesome time at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema watching Inside Out 2! The setup is fantastic, with comfy seats and a great view of the screen. The coolest part is they serve you right at your seat while you watch the movie. The food and drinks were tasty and arrived quickly without any disruptions. The staff was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Inside Out 2 was a great film, and having the convenience of in-theater dining made the experience even better. Definitely recommend Alamo Drafthouse for a fun and seamless movie night!

This is a fantastic place to see a movie. My sister and I saw Nosferatu. I didn't really like the movie, but it was so entertaining watching the wait staff deliver food and drinks, I didn't care. The food is good and so are the drinks. I drank Red Wine. It's a vampire movie you know.
