Its one of the better Alamo locations near Denver. Reclining seats and service to you in the theater is a welcomed plus! Service pretty good. Advise you to get there early to place your order. Depending on crowd size, it could take a while to get your food. As far as theater dining goes the food is good, with many options for drinking and dining.

The staff here is great, the theaters are always clean and the seats are very comfortable. The popcorn is bottomless and always fresh. They even have different flavors you can choose from. The menu is varied enough to fit most needs and their pizzas are personal sizes and tasty, while their burger and chicken fingers are also good go to's. Sound and lighting is great too. They have milkshakes with and without booze, too!

Alamo Drafthouse Westminster is basically a cathedral for movie lovers. The building’s sharp design sets the stage, and inside you’re surrounded by vintage international posters and the haunting face from Metropolis—it feels like stepping into film history with better seating. The chairs are comfortable, the vibe is immersive, and the custom pre-show reels are a thousand times better than soda commercials. This place makes every trip to the movies feel like an occasion, and I try to come here as often as I can.

This used to be my home theater- going forward if given the choice we will go to AMC. Tonight we came to see a movie and used the QR only method for the first time. I hate it- it encourages people to be on their phone throughout the movie. While Alamo claims they will kick anyone they catch texting, I don’t see a realistic way for their staff to enforce this policy. Instead it is left to the viewers (who would also need to be on their phones to report anyone on their phone and it would be very easy to accidentally report someone struggling to order food using Alamo’s terrible wifi). We only came back because it was a discounted viewing. It feels like the new policies by Alamo are meant to undercut their hardworking crew who rely on the tips they are now less likely to receive. I hope the executives at Alamo wake up and reclaim what made them special. Most theaters serve food and drink at concession, have more comfortable seats AND they have bigger screens. What made Alamo special was the culture curated by their staff of movie lovers for movie lovers and their strict no-phone policy. Historically a more elevated adult movie experience. As a long time Alamo patron I’m sad to see it die.

Great staff!!! I came here with a friend for a throwback feature of 13 going on 30 and misplaced my car keys. I had 4 members of the staff helping me look. 45 minutes after I left to subsequently get my car re-keyed I got a call from the manager Quinn saying after another go around cleaning up they found my keys. I was able to pick them up immediately and am so thankful!

Awesome theater very clean and taken care of. Has that old school feel to it,which is cool and nostalgic. They have decent and good items for food on the menu also. And shout out to all the waiters and waitresses for being on point and very kind,we appreciate y'all hard work! 😊

15 min late better DON'T SHOW UP, 1st time I'm not allowed to the movies because I'm late?!...we finally got childcare and we were looking forward to enjoy a date with a good movie. Yes we arrived late because our toddler made a fuss before we leave home. My and my husband already we're aware that we wouldn't be able to order food because of the lateness. However at the door we're told that after 15 min no one gets inside!! - what is this? A workplace? Or a fancy ballet presentation? , this is just a simple "Movie" we wouldn't even order food at that point to not disturb other people, but not letting us get in was unexpected. Date day RUINED, and after reading other's peoples bad experiences with ordering food over the phone to after be ashame for using their phone? Or even seeing their disturbing staff t-shirts saying "we shush jerks" I finally realized the type of inconsistent rude business model this place has. Who calls their customers "jerks"?, I appreciate that they enforce the rules od not talking during the movie, but common say it without insulting people. After all, Alamo needs their business. From now on CINEBARRE here we go ;)

They had a wide selection of beers and cocktails. Their popcorn was fantastic. Each of the seats has a little table in front of it and you get to order from the waitress throughout the movie you just write it down on a slip of paper. You put it in a little thing and turn on the red light a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, I think it’s a bit pricey, but the movies always is but they had salads sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken wings, and so much more it was very clean. The bathroom was also kept up. They have a little restaurant cocktail place in front before you even go in, and as you can see the old time posters, gave it a great atmosphere, the seats were comfortable I would definitely go back

Update: NEW MENU ITEMS New sauces and dry rubs for wings and tenders added. Gochujang Orange Chicken tenders- zesty, tender and flavorful. Comes with a side of sauce and side of ranch as well as fries. Some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. I was very pleasantly surprised. Dill Pickle Buttered Popcorn-be careful with this new flavor, it's tasty but the seasoning can linger in your nose and make you sneeze. Salty and vinegary, this was a well-done pickle flavoring. Key Lime Pie Jar- this pie crust at the bottom of the jar was the best part. The custard had a nice texture and was very tart, but the lime needed to be punchier. Not too shabby, it was decent. "Josephine Baker" cocktail at Pandora's Box Bar- A Prosecco and banana flavored crafted cocktail inspired by vaudeville actress Josephine Baker. She was also a spy during WW2 and a political advocate. A tasty drink with a soft, subtle banana flavor. It was very pleasant to sip on whilst waiting for my showing.

Definitely an elevated movie going experience. This is the 2nd Alamo Drafthouse I've visited and I love the consistency. The Good: Food is not overpriced and the pizza is above average. Appreciate the nonalcoholic beer and mocktail options. Love the Time Capsule screenings and movie parties. The less good: Service has been spotty during previous visits. The specialty screenings (like the aforementioned Time Capsules) often have very odd or limited times. So many classics I'd like to check out on the big screen but when they only have 1-2 showings and are not at every location, it's hard to make the schedule work. I haven't been to see a first run release yet and given the locations are far from me, I don't know that I'd make a special trip when my local multiplex is closer. Hopefully they will give greater priority to niche films and revivals in the future.

My partner and I have done the monthly membership through Alamo as well as take advantage of $7 Tuesdays! We live right down the road and are so grateful for this theatre. It is the best theatre in the area with recliner seats, great service, and delicious popcorn! Highly recommend.

I really like the Alamo drafthouse and the one downtown Westminster is very nice. The service was great. I would say the prices are not crazy. Same cost as if you were to go out to dinner. Plus! You can get bottomless popcorn! Their menu selections were good and right now for beetlejuice they have some specials that looked yummy. Pro-tip - free parking in the large lot!

We have our own Alamo Drafthouse here in Omaha, so when my husband and I were in Boulder, we absolutely had to stop at this "cousin" of our favorite theater! I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Alamo is a place for movie people, BY movie people. So don't go there thinking you will talk through the movie or be on your phone. The No Talking/Texting bumper at the beginning of the movie should scare you straight from doing that LOL Alamo has tons of fun event movies like movie parties, sing a longs, brunch showings, and more. However, when we visited the Alamo Westminster, we were just seeing a normal movie (It: Chapter 2). It was presented fantastically, with expertly mixed sound and vividly colored screens. Their in-house lounge, Pandora's Box, wasn't open for the day yet when we saw our movie (it was an earlier showtime), but you can always order food at your seat during the film (there are tables to eat at, don't worry). The design and decor of Pandora's Box were just as cool and well thought out as the overall theater theming and design. I looked at their food offerings and they had a pretty similar menu to our Omaha Alamo menu, so I can speak to those. My favorites, that I absolutely recommend are the Baked Pretzel, Fish and Chips, Chicken Tenders, Pepperoni Pizza, and Cauliflower with Gochujang sauce. I know most of that sounds like I'm five years old, but they are definitely adult version of these dishes, and very elevated in their recipes. Alamo will also sometimes have a "special features" section of the menu with a few added items for a season, and it will change out every once in a while to a new special features menu. So there's always ton to choose from, which is nice. This Alamo was just as nice as our location and obviously also geared towards movie lovers. If I'm ever near this Alamo again, I will definitely stop by for a movie!

If you have never been to in Alamo Drafthouse, you can expect comfortable seating, delicious food, and a full bar. The theaters are also super clean. You can tell that the staff takes pride in what they do. This particular location has reclining seats. This is the movie theater for movie lovers. In addition to new releases, they often show old favorites (ex: Alfred Hitchcock movies, lord of the rings series, classic old rom coms, Studio Ghibli, etc.). The Alamo Drafthouse app makes it so easy to check out what's playing. Alamo also offers fun events like movie parties, where guests are given fun props in line with the movie themes, and are encouraged to quote or sing along. The food here is super good and great portions for the price. I love the hand breaded chicken tenders and personal pizzas. There are vegetarian and vegan options (cauliflower "wings", vegan pizza, vegan burgers, vegan cookies) and you can purchase healthier options like salads. I can't say enough good things about Alamo Drafthouse, and the Westminster location is so lovely! Grab the app, get some tickets and you will definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth for a great movie experience!

I have a membership to Alamo Drafthouse and it has been wonderful to get to come here almost every week. I think the cost is very fair, and we love that there is food involved. Their baked pretzel is a chefs kiss to a great family outing. While they don't have movies long, they do have a great selection and we especially like time capsule nights where we get to see old movies that we love. I especially love "the Big Show" theater because the sound is unmatched. It does take a little longer to get food in there, but it's worth it.

Love eating dinner in front of the big screens! Alamo was first go to spot upon moving to Denver a couple years ago. We couldn't get enough of the truffle popcorn and chicken tenders! The big show theater is definitely the way to go with better sound and more seating. Went back recently after a few months not going and was a bit disappointed in service as we had to order soda refills multiple times before getting one and the truffle popcorn is no longer bottomless :( The tenders, pizza, and friend pickles are our favorite items. All in all it's a fun time but we limit our trips to avoid spending over $100 on tickets and food every time we want to see a movie.

Terrific place to go for movies! We have been here a few times now. The decorations in the hall and in the lobby really set the mood. It's a neat experience to sit down for a movie and be served popcorn and all the other goodies they have available. The servers are very attentive, and always make an effort to disturb the audience as little as possible during the movie. The food is great! We have had several different things to eat now, and the large menu really makes the experience extra fun. The seats are comfortable and we've never had a problem with a movie. We will continue to come back here, many many times!

Outside the massive popularity of the place, making is PACKED beyond belief, the place was actually pretty crazy experience. Of course, it did help that the crew and I went to see Ghostbusters 4, of course (sorry ladies, 2016 doesn't count). But the whole theatre was packed for the night. Even their bar was pretty popular til we were leaving. Also, got the last glasses, too. Bonus win for the goblin team!

This was my first time attending an Alamo Drafthouse. I've always wanted to go but never had an opportunity. Until today. As we entered, we were greeted and we told them this was our first time at an Alamo theatre. They perked up excitedly and told us that our menus would be at our seats and someone would come get our food order. The seats are wide with a tray table that extends outward. The seats are leather, soft and recline at a good angle. The little tray has a tiny light underneath so you can read the menu and write down your food choices without busting out your prohibited cell phone. The movie screen was bright, the sound was clear. Our waiter came and got our orders and we received our food quickly. The food is really good. It's a bit pricey. Think restaurant quality concessions. It's not gonna be cheap. He came and checked on us very discreetly in the middle of the movie. I got my drink refilled. It was an excellent experience. I will try to attend more locations.

A perfect random date night! Our bartender from the start was so sweet and attentive! For the movie our server was awesome! And the food was really good!!

I absolutely love everything about Alamo Drafthouse... ever since I discovered this place I barley see the inside of an AMC. Alamo has a welcoming ambiance as soon as you walk in. Both the exterior and interior has reminisce of an oldie cinema. Excellent service, their staff are always helpful with any questions. I love the concept of ordering food to my seat. They have notes you can write your orders on so there's no worry of talking during the show. The food isn't anything crazy, but definitely tasty. Their popcorn is to die for, you can order it once and get all the free refills you'd like.

I love Alamo. We come to this location when we can't see what we want at the Sloans Lake location. Theaters here are bigger and the seats recline which is very nice. Always fun short segments before the main attraction make you want to come early and hang out. Each seat here has its own table so you aren't sharing any space. Parking, now that the area is built up, the city charges for street parking. Swing out a couple of blocks to the east to find feee Street parking. There is also a paid lot nearby. What Alamo does right: Serving you in your comfy lounger Food Booze Non alcoholic options as well Movie previews for movie lovers Bottomless popcorn Clean space A sense of fun and a passion for cinema

The menu offers good options, and for a cheeseburger, the ROYALE with cheese was pretty damn good. The service was pretty good until the server placed a full soda on the very edge of our table and it spilled everywhere (very sticky mess), pitfalls of serving in the dark, maybe ‍ But overall a great experience, highly recommend!

During our movie we misplaced a cardigan that was picked up by an employee. When we later attempted to retrieve it, we were told it was nowhere to be found. Basically it was stollen. Very disheartening to find dishonesty over something so simple. Lights under the tables at each seat DO NOT turn off and are a big detractor from the experience. Will not be returning. Very unfortunate.

This location was perfect on my visit , went to see a Cosplay sneak preview of John Wick 4. Purchases tickets online but I was told you can walk up day of and buy tickets to shows as well. Paid Parking for the theater is on the street and in surrounding lots. Very clean theater. They have a bar that I couldn't experience because I barely made it for my event . Seats recline, there's tables to eat your ordered food from (it's the same at all ADC theaters) side note-not all theater locations have recliners. Had a group of 6 and I was able to put the tab on one bill. The old fashioned was great , I love the cookies and popcorn. Very kind food runners , everything was brought correctly and in a timely manner. I'll be back but I'd like to try out the other ADC's around Denver as well.

The food was okay. The omnivore pizza I ordered was mushy, then the waiter brought me a very stale glass of savignon blanc (it might have even been a pinot grigio). When I told him the wine was bad, he just said "it was the end of that bottle." Didn't charge me for it, but still. The loaded fries were good though!

Nothing better than dinner and a movie. Great food selection and comfortable seating.

If your looking forward to the lady in the front when you buy tickets, obviously I know you can buy them online, but I chose not to. I chose to walk in and buy she literally whispers. I had to ask her four times to please speak up if you wanna drink a simple soda, it will come halfway through the movieand God forbid that you order food from the lady at the bar. She told me it's an hour wait for a chicken sandwich although this is the first negative experience I hope it doesn't get better in the future.

Good choice of movies and the seats are luxurious. You order from your seat and they bring your food to your seat. A great way to get food while seeing a movie.

Discounted movie Tuesdays are awesome!! If you're interested in popcorn with real butter, reclining chairs, and food and drinks delivered to your seat then Alamo is a must. Compared to other theaters that serve food in the lobby, I have found Alamo's food and drinks to be the best theater food I've had. We usually find ourselves here, unless Harkins timing works better for us.

Large screen and theater, with comfy leather reclining seats. Our waitress was fast, friendly, and checked on us regularly. They make your popcorn to order, serve food and alcohol along with sodas and water. Great place to see a movie!

My second experience at an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema was even better than the first. Went to see Spiderman: No Way Home in the "Big Show" theater and it was incredible. This theater is huge and the screen and sound are unlike anything I have ever experienced. The recliners and personal tables are an added bonus. The service is unmatched to any other movie theater I have been in. The system is seamless and everything seems to work flawlessly. I first went to the Alamo in Sloan's Lake, but this place is so much better. They have a small gift shop near the entrance and there's some pretty cool takeaways. It's also bigger and not as dark and ominous as the Sloan's Lake location. Then there's Pandora's Box where you can dine before or after your show. I have no complaints when I come to the Alamo and I can't wait to check out the Littleton location.

If you can have cocktails and be waited on in a theater why wouldn't you?!! The servers are very responsive and food delivery is remarkably quick. I was disappointed that there was no hot sauce for my popcorn but what do I expect? It's a theater. But a theater that also has chicken tenders, pizza and burgers! Order your tickets in advance and choose your seats. All the seats are good ones!

Wow! talk about a BIG bummer. I am 70 and my husband is 76, and we have not been to a movie theatre of any kind in 15- 20 years. My son in law invited us to go with the grand kids to a movie and dinner there, and not knowing anything about it we accepted. We got there 20 minutes early, ordered our food and before it came the lights turned out. There is a tiny light but not enough to really see the food. Tried to eat in the dark but had to shine my phone on it a few times to be able to eat. My husband ate half his fish and chips and realized it was half raw so sent it back. I ordered a Jamison, and they brought a glass half full of something which my husband tasted. Said it wasn't Jamison. I tasted it too and realized it was sweet like Baileys or something, so I told them it was the wrong drink. Seemed like a half empty drink too, Was it someone's half drunken cocktail? Eww! They brought a new one but didn't bring my husband's drink until almost the end of the movie after 2 reminders. Then they brought the bill, which we couldn't really see in the very dim light, so I shined my phone on it. A guy came up and almost yelled at me to turn off my phone, said we couldn't use a light. I tried to turn it off, and he kept yelling at me over and over, I was flustered trying to turn it off, said, I am trying to turn it off. He said turn it off, turn it off, you need to leave. I said Shhh! I am trying to turn it off. Then he said I am calling security. You need to leave! My daughter said, are you kidding? We paid a lot for these tickets, why should we leave? Long story short, He brought security, and we all had to leave, even after explaining what happened. He tried to say we were rude to the servers, that people were complaining about us, and that there was nothing wrong with the fish. WOW! For the record we didn't do anything to bother anyone around us, you couldn't hear anything that anyone said in that place. The movie sound is quite loud, and we could not even hear much of what the servers said, much less our neighbors! I don't think you can say we were rude just because we had to communicate to the servers that there was a problem with our order. Such a bad experience. As for the movie, well, we were enjoying it, but didn't get to see the last 20 minutes of it. The kids were all upset, and frankly I couldn't believe how poorly we were being treated after spending $150 dollars on food and drinks, and the cost of 6 movie tickets. There is a reason that many movie houses have all gone bust in the last 20 years. Don't think we will try that again!

Went to see the special showing of Noseferatu as a Christmas present to eachother. We typically go to the Sloans Lake location but they were not doing the special popcorn bucket promotion so we decided too go here. We arrived about 30 minutes before the movie was to begin so that A. We could Order our food before the movie began B. Retrieve our promotional item from the box office as the ticket instructed upon doing C. See the fun videos the all Alamo shows before their movies. We were told that the promotional popcorn bucket would be waiting for us at our seat rather then getting it from the box office (was hoping to retrieve it and possibly put it in the car before the movie as to have more room on the table.)We ordered possibly 5 minutes after being sat. I had ordered a Soda, churro popcorn, and the grilled chicken club. My wife ordered a ceaser salad wrap with grilled chicken with a side of fries and a Grasshopper (which she was not carded for she's only 25). Before the movie had started my wife had recieved her wrap fries and drink. She had also received my drink but being one table over we noticed easily enough. We had not received the popcorn until my wife was already half way through her meal. The movie started and I still had no sign of my food. Will into the start of the movie I finally received a plate and started with the fries. One I finished the fries I was looking forward to my sandwich to find it was a bacon cheeseburger and not the sandwich I had ordered. Considering I hadn't even received my food till well after my wife had finished hers and into the movie I was furious. It really hampered my enjoyment of the star of the movie. I wrote a note for my server explaining the situation to the server. She apologized (as much as she could as the movie had started). She mentioned I could keep the burger and they would bring out my proper order. I really didn't need or want 2 meals but I had already waited extremely long for my food so I ate the burger. Finally they bright out my proper order and I was already full but I wanted to eat what I hadordered so I ate my sandwich. We were intending to order hot coco and cookies as a sort of after meal treat with our movie as we did last time we were at the alamo but with how late I received my food and getting 2 meals we never got the chance. After all that debacle I thought perhaps a manager would at least come by to apologize or write sorry on the receipt at least but nothing. We payed and left and I am typically remissed in ever tipping less then 20% at any place i go to but I could not bring myself to tip that amount after the experience I had. I was tempted to only tip 10% which would have been around 7 but I'm not a monster and left 10 dollars. I'm most likely going to have to re-watch Noseferatu so I can properly enjoy the beginning of the movie but I certainly will not be seeing it at this Alamo location. Even though this one is closer to home, if I go to another Alamo showing it will always be the Sloans Lake location.

Don't go to this place, specially if you bought tickets last minute. I went there today, showed up 10 minutes after the movie started. I bought my tickets online last minute as it was the closes time to watch movie I wanted to watch. Plus I was going to order food inside!! lol Two assholes who looked bored working on Sunday afternoon didn't let us get into the movie, because we were 10 minutes after show. WHAT?? LOL I mean, aren't there previews 15 minutes before an actual movie starts? WTH

We had a great experience here. Love being able to see a movie and have dinner (or snacks) and drinks at the same time. Food was good, service was great and movie night with the family was priceless.

Clean with friendly staff. It took until halfway through the movie for my food to arrive but it was hot and fresh. I would go again.

DO NOT come here. This place ruined our Easter Sunday and management has a nerve. My family of apx 20 decided we would spend our Easter Sunday watching the new Mario movie. We have kids so we chose the "kid friendly" show time. Mind you we purchased the whole top row. And the theater was filled with tons of other kids. The waitress decided to come and warn us that if our kid made noise again we would get asked to leave. I kindly asked did I purchase the wrong time ? I thought it was a kid friendly show time. The server said no it's a Sunday and it's 6. I pulled out my phone to double check because maybe I was wrong. Showed her my screen shot and she left. Apx 3 mins later the manager comes storming in, interrupted the movie again and said it's not a kid friendly event and we can talk about this now or after the movie is over. I ignored her and would seek clarification after. I was right. It was a kid friendly screening and I'll attach picture proof. She was unprofessional with my husband and later proceeded to admit it was a kid friendly event. Not an apology was given rather more altercations as she continued to interrupt. I narrowed it down though. Not one single person of color was working there when we were there. All of the other children were never told anything and I was not able to watch in peace. If "colors" aren't welcomed, just say that. No need to be racist in a conspicuous way especially with children. I'd love for corporate to read this and contact me because those workers require training on your show times and their policies and maybe some inclusion seminars as well. Way to ruin Eater

Since my move to Brighton I haven't been coming to the alamo but that's about to CHANGE ! Came to watch Spider-Man & The flash with my husband (first time for him) and I truly forgot how great everything here is . The pizza is still very much good , the pretzel and cheese fries super yummy . I do have to say the food is on the expensive side but it is what it is . The sitting is comfy , the people who work there have been wonderful . Only gray side is the bathroom it can use some work but other then that everything is great

I went for the first time to Alamo Drafthouse Cinema recently and loved it. There is a restaurant onsite (30 beers on tap!) where you can wait for your movie if you are early. I'd been told the popcorn is amazing and indeed it is totally addictive (we added herb parmesan on ours, so good!). The buffalo cauliflower was also yummy and overall they offer a nice selection of food and drinks. The seats are comfortable and I really like that there's enough room in front of you so that you can easily leave without bothering anybody. My only complaint is the price, each ticket was $15 (we went in the evening), and when you add food and drink, it becomes a little pricey. I wish the tickets were more reasonably priced, so that I don't feel guilty spending $10 on the popcorn. Service was very friendly and we got our food relatively fast, although one of my friends had to wait for her drink a very long time (I would recommend getting it a the bar and bringing it with you to avoid waiting for it). Great experience and definitely plan on going back!

If you're a movie buff or just want to see a movie and love good food, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is the perfect spot for you. I'm a regular here - I have the Alamo season pass and I go to a movie at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. It's safe to say that sometimes I feel like I live here. The food at Alamo is disturbingly good for being a movie theater. I often come here to eat and catch a random movie, just because the food is that good. The vegan cookies are my absolute favorite - I get them every time I come. The loaded fries are also super tasty and have become a regular order for me and my girlfriend to split. The burgers are good, the vegan pizza is good, and the popcorn is decadent. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The only thing missing for me is a vegan booze-filled shake. I've been dying to try one, but unfortunately I'm lactose intolerant. Alamo, if you're reading this, please add a vegan option! Overall, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is a must-visit for any movie lover in the area. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the atmosphere is perfect for a night out. Whether you're seeing a movie or just grabbing a bite to eat, you won't be disappointed.

We love this place. Tonight we saw the new Minion movie. My kids are adults but still enjoy seeing these shows. We got food of course. My son had the Fish & Chips. He really enjoyed it. He had the lemonade with it. My daughter got the Royale With Cheese. Excellent burger in her opinion as well as fries and a Sprite. I had the loaded fries because loaded fries. I enjoyed a Bell's Two hearted draft. The movie was fun. The service is always great and we love the food. This is our go to movie spot.

Enjoyed watching Dune 2 with my daughter. First visit there and will be going back for the new Planet of the Apes! Comfortable, clean and very good customer service!

Luxury movie experience with recliners and an elaborate drinks/food menu. There's a cozy, pub style atmosphere bar in the lobby which is a fun way to hangout before your movie. Once you're in the theater, you have access to a server, a full menu, and a full drink list. We ordered the Royale With Cheese and the Fried Chicken Sandwich & Asian Slaw. I can't believe this food is being served at a movie theater, it's really tasty!! The burger was fantastic and so was the chicken sandwich. The French Fries that came with both sandwiches at no extra charge were crispy, fresh and hot! So good! I ordered a sour beer to go along with my meal and it was so nice to sip during the movie. We had a wonderful experience at this location. The service was friendly and fast. The picture and sound quality of the movie was top-notch. I will be seeing every movie from now on here at The Alamo. Great place!

If I have to go to another movie theater, I'll be bummed! The best staff, the best food & service!

Fun place to watch movies. The drinks are way over priced. Both margaritas are absolutely disgusting. If you come here to watch and drink stick to beer. The food is average. Your best bet is to order the bottomless popcorn and bring in a flask and order a cheap soda. Makes it a great experience and you're not getting ripped off on basic food and disgusting cocktails. Y'all need to hire a real bartender.

Took my granddaughter to see "Nope". The service was outstanding! The cost of the movie on Saturday afternoon was only $10. That's their price! Wow! We ordered pizza and popcorn. I loved the pizza spices and toppings plus it was nice and crispy. Popcorn is half the price of other big name theaters and they use real butter. They also have a full-service bar and outside seating which was wonderful because at 6 pm, it was nicer outside and a nice breeze was flowing. I can't wait until we can go there again.

I just went to the movies with my family. Two members are in town on leave from the navy visiting us before deployment. We wanted to enjoy a great time out and I thought I'd take them to the Westminster Colorado alamo house. I bought 10 tickets! NOT knowing if someone would be 15 mins late,they wouldn't be let in. One of our family members is a 16 year old that was running late from cheer practice. When she arrived, they told her she couldn't go in. The theater had maybe 20 people total (including our party), people going in and out to the bathroom, servers RUNNING ba k and forth, servers bringing food amd drink. This poor 16 year old was STRANDED because she was dropped off. One of our party had.to also leave the movie to take her home! I'm so disgusted by the lack of compassion and empathy! How dare "you" not allow this kid into the movie. She wasn't disrupting anything and was left alone. Three of us had to go out and make her feel better, talk to the manager, who still wouldn't let her simply WALK to her seat! We even told them she was only 16 and would be left alone! How dare them! To top it all off, our server put an upside down cross on our ticket! I'm so disgusted by all this. We are very respectful, caring, helpful, people. We will not be returning. You may not care, but just us and my family are 6 different families who did regularly visit The Alamo House. We might not be a lot of people, but just the loss of us and other after I leave reviews, should cover our ticket prices. I don't want anything in return. I need you to understand what happened and what you did. How disgusting!

I like this place. It has a nice old movie theater vibe, very comfy sits, and food choices at a reasonable price! HOWEVER, they don't let season-pass-holders buy tickets in person at the box office. Instead, they force them to buy tickets online and pay a convenience fee. That's just not right!

So different than the other Alamo Drafthouse locations in Denver. I dig it. Each seat in theater 2 had their own table, which was nice for our party of 3. Nice reclinable chairs. Lots more room in the aisles. They also took our credit card when ordering which got rid of the credit card shuffle during the movie. Friendly staff and good service. Construction was going on all around the theatre so getting in and out was a little awkward. But I'm happy this location is closest to me. It's really nice! Edited to add a funny story I forgot: We sat in the last row of theatre 2 and I was a little worried because the bass for the Downton Abbey preview was insane. Our chairs were shaking! But the rest of the previews and the movie were fine. If you decide to go to a movie that will probably have a lot of bass, consider a different row than the last one. At least in theatre 2.

I have been here four times now, and have been very pleased with every aspect. The theater looks great. The staff training seemed to go very well, and service has been very good. The picture and sound quality of the films has been excellent. And, the food (while typically good at Alamo) has really been better than I expected. The chicken strips were hot, fresh, and flavorful. The beer-bacoa queso is unique to this location, and quite tasty. The beer menu is extensive, but a couple of my "go-to" beers from Sloan's Lake are not served here. I really do enjoy so many aspects of Alamo Drafthouse. But, as I've said before, what keeps me coming here is the "no talking, no texting" policy. Other theaters may ask people politely not to do these things, and then do nothing to enforce it. Alamo actually follows through on their completely justified threats. If you talk, if you text, if you disrupt others from enjoying the film, they will "kick your ass out!". No refunds, no second chances. And, at the end of the day, it is refreshingly uncommon to be able to actually enjoy a movie and know that others will not be able to ruin it.

First time at Alamo! Drove 30 minutes to this theater and prepaid for 2 seats. Arrived at 9:55pm for a movie that started at 9:40pm. Turned away due to a mindblowing policy that you could not enter the theater after the movie has begun, no exceptions. Which was stated nowhere obvious on the website when buying these tickets. Absolute joke. Never in my life have I heard of such a ridiculous policy. There's 20 seats in this theater. Any Regal or AMC would let you enter at any time with 100+ people in the theater. Could I leave to use the restroom during the film? Would I be stopped and told I could not re-enter due to the film being in progress? Guess I'll never find out! Best of luck in your business endeavors Alamo. Better have your papers in order before going here, worse than TSA. Advice for the staff, go work somewhere where you disappoint people less. It'll be more rewarding.

First, the positives: the food is good (if a little over-priced, but what else do you expect at such a venue?), and the movie-watching experience itself is the best I've had in a long time. Instead of annoying, useless ads as a lead-up to the trailers, they have funny videos playing. That's cool. The movies they play are out of the ordinary, more than just the typical big-budget stuff you see at AMC. I took my son to see an obscure foreign film, and it was great to see. OTOH, this is like going to a theater run by The Soup Nazi. The first sign of trouble was the website passive-aggressively lecturing me about being on time TO A MOVIE I JUST BOUGHT TICKETS FOR. Basically, it was a warning saying that you can't go in to the theater if you're late. The actual wording is "We would love to see you thirty minutes ahead of showtime." WTF? I understand them not wanting to interrupt the show for others, but if you pay $10 and they lock you out, they're ripping you off. And nobody needs to tell me to be on time. I'm the most punctual guy on the planet. I'm also a friggin' adult. I know what a schedule is. I've even been to movie theaters before. I don't need to be told to be on time. They certainly don't need to say "We'd love to see you" or "it would be great if..." Just post a rule and say "Please take your seat ahead of showtime." Or "No admittance after showtime." Even "We recommend..." would be better than "Gosh, I guess you'd better show up ahead of time OR ELSE..." Jeez. So then we get to the theater, and the decor is really nice, and the people in the lobby are nice. I go to the bathroom (where there are signs telling you how to throw away the paper towels), then get to my seat where I am immediately confronted by the waitress. Honestly, I didn't even know it was that kind of theater, I just wanted to take my son to see the movie he wanted to see, so I didn't even know there was a menu. The waitress asks to see my tickets, and I show her my phone. She says we're in the wrong seats, but it's okay, and then explains the complicated seat numbering system. Every other theater since Aristophanes puts the row number (or letter) on the end of the row, and then the seats are numbered. This theater has a four digit code attached to each seat that is apparently very useful to the waitstaff but must be deciphered by the people who buy the tickets to sit in the seats. So she says we're in the wrong seats, but it's okay, but we're in the wrong seats. So, should we move? I ask her, to which she says we're in the wrong seats but there's just one other couple in the theater, so it's okay, but we're in the wrong seats. Should we move? NO, she says, it's okay. Oh, and by the way, there's no texting no talking, no using your phone, no generating any kind of light or sound allowed. We will throw you out, she tells me (in a theater with four friggin' people in it). "I'm just doing my job," she tells me in an overly-sweet voice about five times. Then she explains the procedure for ordering the food, and it's about all I can take, so I ask her politely if she can come back in a few minutes so I can look at the menu. "I literally just sat down. I'm not even all the way into the seat. I've never been here before," I say, to which she replies "Well, that's the way we do things here. I'm just doing my job." As soon as she leaves, the procedure is repeated on the screen in a manner that mimics the waitress's super-sweet demeanor. I'm starting to feel like I'm in a Candy Land POW camp. My son and I decided to relocate to the seats we paid for because it had a better sightline anyway. And we would have done that before if the waitress hadn't been too busy asserting her authority and arguing with me. Once we ordered, the food arrived quickly and without any unnecessary conversation. I didn't want to use the bathroom however, because the movie was good and I was honestly afraid they wouldn't let me back into the auditorium. I don't know who the people are who want to be treated like children in a kindergarten classroom. I'm an adult and I expect to be treated like one. I keep hearing about how the younger generations are crying out for authoritarianism and this is honestly what it felt like at this theater. I left the waitress a 15% tip hoping she would learn not to lecture the customers, but honestly it feels like this is a company-wide culture thing (I'm assuming this one very young waitress didn't write the copy a national theater chain's website). I mean really: AMC has the same rules, Regal Cinebarre has the same procedures, but you just go in and figure it out. They don't threaten to throw you out or lock you out of the movie you paid for. That's just rude.
