Flying from Tampa to Seattle: Your employee Kaylee did not call for active duty military boarding. When I asked her why, she unapologetically said “because we’re really busy and forgot”. I also received a seat change notification during the boarding process that my seat was changed to 9 rows back. While waiting to board, another employee came up and said she needs to check my other bag in because there’s no space. I said no thank you, I’ll consolidate my bags. She then said “ok you better do that”. She should have asked if I could consolidate first. Your staff is rude and I feel unappreciated as a military member. Will never fly with Alaska again.

The check-in process was fast and easy. The airline hostess was helpful and informative when I requested wheelchair assistance for my grandmother. However, the wheelchair assistant person bluntly asked me for tip for the service. I told him my grandma would tip him when he got her to the gate which she did, and he just counted the cash in front of her. My grandmother being a tourist to the United States called me immediately questioning the situation, are the employees underpaid? I'm shocked this has never happened to me before.

Missed a connecting flight last night because none was behind the ticket counter. The next available flight wasn't till 24 hrs later, they never even offered to get me room accommodations. Now I'm here at the airport again, it's 1:15pm on a Friday and again, noone behind the counter. Good thing I'm here 5 hr early. Maybe I'll get through to corporate before my flight leaves. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable and efficient, but it seems the company as a whole isn't big on customer service.

Flight attendant excessively rude and condescending on the flight from Tampa to Seattle. Scolded several passengers for different minor issues. Ticketing personnel at Seattle Tacoma airport was unreasonable and forced my whole family with young kids to cancel and rebook for next day when my husband asked about the delay and cracked a joke about the situation. He apologized, not once was there any cussing/yelling or any behavior to justify the over reaction. She threatened to retaliate and put him on every airline’s blacklist if we tried to plead our case.

What an absolutely awful experience! The incompetent employee at the ticket/bag check counter (Raneem) held us up for nearly 30 mins because she couldn’t get our luggage tags to print, causing us to miss our flight (all the while reassuring us we had plenty of time and wouldn’t be left behind) and then we had to wait 12 hours in the terminal for the next flight - and the supervisor (Jenizel) completely dismissed our complaints and even smirked and laughed about it - as if they didn’t care that a family’s tickets cost several thousand dollars, clearly they do not care and are just there for a paycheck. As an added bonus, our bags made the flight on time, but not us! Avoid this airline at all costs! They have very poor reviews for a reason! I’m filing Corporate complaints, but a local review will hopefully save some of you the headache and aggravation that we experienced! Choose a more reliable airline who values customer service and providing a pleasant travel experience for your hard-earned money!

Alaska had to be one of my favorite airlines to fly. One thing I love above all else is the care they give my dog when he has to fly cargo. Once he's boarded they give you a note with your dogs name on it letting you know they've boarded and good to go, I really appreciate the peace of mind.
