Everything was scrumptious! Especially pizza I ordered reminded me of my time in Rome. I used to go to place called ‘Pizza Re’ when I lived in Italy. I couldn’t find anything like authentic Italian pizza in the states including Little Italy NYC but this is the ONE reminded me of the real Italian pizza in Italy. We will be coming beck here for sure!

Fantastic! Came for Bethesda restaurant week. Feel the value would be good at regular menu prices but we did even better. Whipped feta, mussels, inferno pizza, all top shelf. Eggplant Parma very good, not the usual heavily breaded and deep fried. Instead a thinner coating or whatever you call it. Server was friendly and attentive. Canoli was 2 for 2. Great filling and crunchy shell.

I recently ordered a pizza from your establishment and wanted to express my appreciation for the prompt delivery and the generally delicious taste of the pizza. However, I regret to inform you that we encountered an issue upon opening the box – the pizza appeared to be quite burnt. While we were eager to enjoy the flavors of your pizza, the burnt crust significantly impacted our overall experience. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I wanted to bring this to your attention in the hope that it could be addressed. Thanks

The pizzas are great. The terrace is fun. But we would enjoy dining here better, if the waiters didn't force everytime single-use plastic on us in the form of plastic cups and straws for kids and straws for adults. Why not provide reusable/glass mugs for kids and straws only if someone actually requests them?

Best pizza I’ve had in the DMV. Great service & good drinks. Cheesecake here is amazing- highly recommend.

We went because of the "Savor Bethesda" Restaurant Week, but very much disappointed. Although the website clearly said “$20 Dinner: 1 starter + 1 entrée; $35 Dinner: 1 starter + 1 entrée + 1 dessert”, but there is NO option. The only starter has to be the crab soup. The only entree has to be mushrooms ravioli. The only $15 dessert is chocolate covered strawberries. We decided to try other dishes. The waitress did stop by our table frequently, but the 30-minutes cooking time was too long for three pastas and one pizza. The ravioli were well made and well prepared. The veal/beef tortellacci were very delicious. The spicy shrimp spaghetti were kind I’d dry. The prosciutto pizza had a great layer of prosciutto and arugulas.

i worked here as a hostess for a few months and the manager i had (jenny🤗) fired me with no reasoning and just handed me my checks and said see you around. just expected something more professional and to hear the actual words “you are fired” and the reasoning why since yk she is a grown women.

Small plates were expensive but very filling, and everything tasted good overall. The arancini were very greasy and would be better with some red sauce. The mushroom crostini was delicious.

Yelp
Decided to swing by with my boyfriend for savor Bethesda! They had an amazing deal for lunch (weekends only) for an appetizer, lunch and a canoli $20 per person. We both ordered buffalo wings (A+), he ordered the multi carni and I the salsiccia. I preferred the multi carni a bit more with the amount of protein it came with. Handcut fries were ok, a bit too chunky for me so it didn't taste like the potato was cooked all the way through. Service was amazing. Both the host and waitress were friendly and checked on us several times to make sure we were comfortable. There's inside and outside seating (within a tent). The inside of the restaurant is a bit smaller with a cozy bar and outside seating has several heaters to keep it warm. 100% would return here.

Yelp
Delicious wood-fired Neapolitan Margherita pizza with a fluffy pillowy soft crust and dollops of fresh mozzarella cheese! The apps were a bit of a miss, the pizza was the highlight of our meal! The pizza hit the spot and while Margherita pizzas can be skimpy on the cheese, there was just the right amount of cheese spread evenly to enjoy some in every bite! The pizza paired well with a bottle of Chianti Classico. I was surprised to see 2 different bottles of Chianti (Classico and Reserved) and enjoyed the Chianti Classico. The thick Hand cut steak fries were okay, the potatoes weren't cooked all the way through and it was disappointing there was no honey mustard or aioli sauce (it was either ketchup or ranch). The Deviled Eggs were a bit bland. The Focaccia bread isn't featured on the menu, but you can order a small side/slice of bread. The slice of buttered toasted bread was a bit denser than I expected and didn't quite have that soft scrumptious texture that I was hoping for. While the seasonal Limoncello cheesecake looked tempting, I got the Cannoli. which had a sweet and decadent creamy filling with a nice caramel drizzle in a crunchy shell. It was a bit disappointing that some of the classic Italian food/drink items were missing like there was no cappuccino or tiramisu featured on the menu. Dog-friendly on the patio and plenty of tables outside with heating and small tables inside with a cozy bar area. There's also great happy hour specials on the weekdays.

Yelp
On a Friday night, Kishore, my fiancé, and I had dinner at Alatri Bros in Bethesda, MD. Alatri Bros. is an Italian restaurant that specializes in wood-fired pizza. This restaurant has an indoor dining room with a semi-heated and covered patio. They don't take reservations. Seating is first come, first serve. It was cool to learn that their lion and pizza board was Game of Thrones inspired. We arrived just in time to claim the last table. Our server Brian P. was okay. The dinner service took two hours. Kishore enjoyed the Il Tramonto cocktail, which consisted of mezcal, Absinthe, Don Ciccio and Figli walnut liqueur. My fiancé ordered the Jailbreak Special Lady Friend Hazy IPA, but he was given the Lone Oak Sand Bar and was charged for the most expensive beer. I enjoyed a Virgin Mule. They participated in Savor Bethesda and were offering $20 Three-Course Meal consisting of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For appetizers, Kishore enjoyed the Whipped Feta, which consisted of crispy cracked black pepper dusted pizza dough served with honey drizzled whipped feta cheese; My fiancé enjoyed the Mussels cooked in a carrot-ginger marinara; and I enjoyed the Mussels cooked in a lemon-garlic & white wine sauce. Both of the mussels appetizers came with a toasted herb-crusted bread. For entrées, Kishore enjoyed Prosciutto Pizza, which consisted of goat cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onion, arugula, and prosciutto finished with a balsamic reduction drizzle. My fiancé enjoyed Jorge's Inferno pizza, which consisted of basil pesto, tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, olives, garlic, and fresno peppers. Both of them enjoyed their pizzas with red chili flakes. I loved the Chicken Piccata, which consisted of lightly seasoned chicken breast served over spaghetti in a flavorful lemon-caper sauce. We finished our meal with a Mini Cannoli, which consisted of cannoli filled with ricotta cheese and garnished with mini chocolate chips.

Yelp
In the simplest way possible, the best place to have a quick bite, happy hour is very affordable and the service is phenomenal. Carlo, Brian, Louis, and Donny give the most authentically hospitable service I have received in 4 years of living in the D.M.V area. I've worked in hospitality for 7 years and could say from an experienced level, the food, service and environment is fantastic, family friendly and has such a great energy. 10/10 recommend for a girls lowkey night of drinks or a little one on one date night.

Yelp
I heard this song in my head..."please don't go.." while seated in this restaurant. The decor is nice We knew swthing was wrong when there was literally five people dining on a Saturday at lunch time. We ordered meatball sliders and mussels for appetizers. The sliders were good nothing special. The mussels were small and lacked any flavor. The pizza was the worst part...which was the focus of the meal. The pizza didn't even look appetizing. It lacked flavor the sauce didn't taste fresh, and the cheese was the same. I go on this platform to encourage folks to try good restaurants. In a time where we are in a recession AND in Bethesda so many choices...we should have requested our money back.

Lesley-Alicia D.

Yelp
UGLY! Unwelcome to single females. Great food, invisible service. Jasmine, an employee, tried calling out to the manager, Carlos, several times to get me cashed out. After that, I decided to pay in cash and hell almost froze over before I received my change. Decades have passed since I have left no tip; usually I tip electronically AND, if especially good, in hard cash!

Fatima E.

Yelp
I like this place. Wood style pizza is very good. I got Verdure and it was very good.

Allison L.

Yelp
Decent spot! Would recommend if you're craving pizza and want to vibe out and have a place to sit. I tried the arugula and pear salad, plus Margherita pizza. Both good but not necessarily the best I've ever had. Still, a good place to hang out and grab a bite to eat.

It was then too late to try any desserts, but headed for home.

Yelp
Still the best pizza, the service is good, and we enjoy Wine Wednesday, but I have to say that the music they play is awful.

Sarah O.

Yelp
What a nice hidden gem. A friend and I are in search of best pizza joint and this came up on our search. Sizes were just right, and the crust was nice and crisp! We shared two different pizzas and while she really likes the margherita, I liked the eggplant. They were both excellent. I would love to return! The servers were friendly and they checked up on you periodically just at the right frequency and did not rush us even though we lingered a bit to chat after we had paid the check.

Jose M.

Yelp
Ordered through Caviar. After all the rave reviews I had higher expectations. The pizza was just ok but merely average by DC standards. They also got one of our pizzas wrong so we did not get everything we ordered. It's pizza. It's fine. The price is ok. Just didn't blow my socks off.

Gloria A.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the pizza. I finally gave up on ordering cheese pizza/ NY style-- it just does not exist in this area/ Maryland. The specialty pizzas are great-- had Jorge's inferno. I forgot they were all is on there.-- which I'm not a fan of, but it was great. Also ordered a margarita-- the sauce is good flavorful-not too sweet. The cheeses were good. I order delivery so it's best to put it in your oven under 200° for five minutes before you start. That way it is crispy.

Shivana D.

Yelp
I don't even eat bread but I like this spot a lot. I've gotten the pizzas on cauliflower crust every time and I really enjoy the flavors they have to offer! I dined in here for the first time this weekend, (previously I had just ordered food to go). The outdoor patio is so nice. They can partially open the patio covering to let in more light and they even have fans to cool down the area on hot days. I thought the service was great. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The birria pizza special changes every time I get it, but it's always good. I prefer it with the crumbled cheese and green sauce on top but I guess they use whatever they have on hand at the time. Today I tried the spicy crab pizza special too, and I gotta say it's my new favorite. The creamy crabby sauce with corn and fatty bacon was a great combo. Although the cauliflower crust tends to get a little charred on the edges, I feel like it's a good substitute for a regular crust, compared to some other places. It was nice and crispy and not dry at all. Will be keeping an eye out for more specials from Alatri!

Yelp
I give them a c for effort. I ordered from doordash, i requested a gf pizza and a gf calzone which they offered on the site. Apparently the calzone couldnt be made, they had no contact info for me and they cancelled the order but still made a gluten filled calzone instead of a gluten free pizza. They said told the driver to tell me which he didnt. They also said they removed the gf option from the calzone online to prevent further issue. But not the worst thing seeing as the gf pizza is a soggy cauliflower crust pizza. C for effort 3 stars for even having a gf option but we had 2 people who didnt have a good dinner now. I also give them credit for refunding and still attempting to make us something gf people couldnt have...

Yelp
We were going to Olazzo but ventured here when it was full there. This place is a gem and every single person in our group of 8-loved the service, menu, and food. The BEST part of our experience to top it off was Jenny Davis. She killed herself to ensure this place runs well. Watching her with the customers you can see her dedication and ability to connect. I don't know if she's the manager but i can spot an amazing employee who makes a real difference to business-- and she deserves many accolades.

Chiara S.

Yelp
This Italian restaurant serves really tasty food at an affordable cost. It's on one of the main streets for the night life in Bethesda. It's nice to be able to have real food before heading to the bars on Cordell. I tried different types of pizzas there, and they can also accommodate any requests if you want to add or take off some toppings. They have outdoor and indoor seating; the outdoor patio is covered in case it rains.

Young V.

Yelp
Delivery 1 star for tasty pizza MINUS 10000 stars for what appeared to be 16.00 worth of 6 partially eaten wings. Completely unacceptable.

Lily R.

Yelp
Amazing food! Very cute in there too. My friends and I came in pretty late and the service was great and very quick. The proportions are perfect and everything tasted wonderful. Definitely a hidden gem of Bethesda!

Kelly S.

Yelp
The Whipped Feta that dreams are made of! Let me know when this is available for purchase of pints, quarts, or gallons... Fun and lively spot! The shared patio area is great. Both white and red sangrias were tad We had a large group happy hour and servers were attentive to our needs.

David G.

Yelp
There are a TON of pizza places in this neighborhood, and Alatri is consistently one of the best.

Lorelei D.

Yelp
This is a great "we don't feel like cooking" spot. The food is consistently amazing and the service is great. The pizza is thin crust and perfectly fire roasted. My favorite dish is the avocado and healthy grains salad. I add extra lemon for a little kick. The Buffalo-style Brussel sprouts are a great starter! Donnie is one of the friendliest and most attentive bartenders and makes every visit memorable. Come during quarantine! They are offering 10% off and are now open on Mondays.

Natasha L.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere both in door and out. Staff very kind and pleasant. Food is elevated yet delicious and hearty. Cocktails delightful. Glad to have found a new spot in Bethesda.

Nick D.

Yelp
I know this might sound absurd but I order a calzone every new place I travel to. It was something that I came up with in 1996 when I was younger and traveled across Europe. By the way, Amsterdam has the best calzones. Anyhow, I have ordered a lot of calzones in Bethesda, Maryland because I come here often and I finally found one that was worth writing about. Never mind the weird shape, it's crazy delicious. I love that they don't give you any hassle for needing extra sauce nor they charge you extra for extra sauce. (Being charged money for a little bit a sauce really really bugs me!) Anyhow, just try it. It's really good. I'm happy I finally ate here and I am a calzone kinda dude.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great outdoor space that's dog friendly. The pizza was great. Do not miss getting the burrata board. It was perfection. They are super nice to the kids and offer candy at the end (beware parents if that's not your thang). We actually technically sat inside - they can open their whole restaurant up so it's open air. Well done.

Lina T.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend for a doggie play date. I love that their outdoor patio area is dog friendly, the waitress even offered our pups water :) We didn't make reservations, but luckily we were seated immediately. There is plenty of seating available both inside and outside of the restaurant. I ordered the Meatball Pie as my entree, it comes with your choice of chicken or beef meatballs (I chose beef), mozzarella and tomato sauce. The beef meatballs were tasty, very juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal, my only gripe was that typical pizza condiments were not readily available at our table like most pizza places (crushed red pepper, cheese, garlic powder, etc.) I would recommend this spot, especially for the dog friendly environment. The pizza was yummy, service was good, menu is reasonably priced and I will definitely be back!

Aakash S.

Yelp
Food was overall tasty, flavorful, had some authenticity to them and make sense flavor wise. Outdoor/decor: A+ Unique Menu : B+ Flavor: A The outdoor area is shared with Gringos and Marichis and has a lot of awesome artwork just like next door. The outdoor area is good up until October at least and a refreshing setting They have small plates, crustini's, salads, charcuterie boards, and wood-fired pizza which was amazing. Jorge's Inferno pizza: banginnnn. Pepperoni, hot red peppers, olives and pesto. Crust was nice and thin and had a good chew/bite to it

Rachel H.

Yelp
Our group of five stopped in on a Thursday night around 7pm looking for a quick happy hour menu. Based on reviews I decided to check out Alatri Bros. but I don't know if we'll be back. Service is horrible, and that's putting it nicely. After we arrived we stood waiting to be helped for about ten minutes. After we were seated we didn't see a waitress for a while. Eventually we flagged down a waitress and put in drink orders. The drinks came several minutes apart. Our waitress couldn't remember which beer was which and ask if we could just taste them? Blah. Food we didn't order was delivered to our table and we had to send it back. We were able to place a food order and everything came out quickly. Whipped feta was the highlight of the night and honestly the only reason we would return. The margarita pizza didn't have cheese on every slice- I would skip it. The fries were okay but not memorable. We also got a spicy pizza which was pretty good. We didn't see our waitress again. It wasn't until we flagged someone (I think a manager) down an hour later for our check. The portions here are great and the prices are even better considering we are in Bethesda but the service alone will keep us away. Based on the two conversations I overheard other tables felt the same. The table to our right had meals missing to the point of having to get them to go. This place has potential but needs better service

Sonam S.

Yelp
I really want to give this place 4 stars bc the food and happy hour deal was great, however can't because of two very unfortunate reasons: 1- there were not one, but TWO RATS running around. They ran right under our table and were HUGE - we also weren't the only table to see them, multiple tables did and jumped/shrieked. The restaurant is partly inside, partly outside but the rats were running from the inside out, and then back in. 2- our waiter should not be in the service industry. When we shrieked bc of said rats, and told the waiter, he shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know what to tell you, we don't associate with these Bethesda rats. We can't really help it if they're around". While I understand they didn't coerce the rats in and welcome them in, he could have been a little more empathetic and concerned that there were multiple rats running around - while people were eating and worried about the sanitation at the restaurant. It's honestly so sad to see places with good food and so much potential not care AT ALL about health hazards and customer service.

Ross G.

Yelp
This was $17. Everything fell right off the second I picked it up. Trying to be rustic with thick cut vegetables on a 1 mm thick tiny pizza... smart. Was exceptionally mediocre. Needed salt. And sauce. And enough cheese to actually hold the thing together? Maybe? $17... got a disc of soggy bread... can't help but laugh.

Carole J.

Yelp
Had dinner tonight . The place was packed and nice ambiance . The pizza was delicious, crispy dough and the topping was fresh . And good service too even if on the slow side. Will be back .

Jina T.

Yelp
Good food, good service and nice heated outdoor seating . Definitely coming back soon.

Farhad M.

Yelp
I had a very good experience with their takeout service. The pizza tasted very good. Fresh ingredients & the crust tasted good also. Hope to be back soon for dine in service.

Steve R.

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday evening for dinner. Street parking is t rg icky. Its best to park in the public garage at the end of the block. This location used to be the old Mia's pizza. Some of the dishes carried over to the current menu. Its one of my favorite spots for brick oven pizza We Ordered fig & procuitto pizza. It was my first time trying it and I loved it.

Angela N.

Yelp
Gross. Met a friend for drinks/apps and food was mediocre. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, tomato crostini (bland- tomatoes are soggy and tasteless), and meatball sliders (mediocre at best). The best dish was the Brussels sprouts, and would give those 4-stars. We were drinking/eating at the bar when a cockroach was crawling towards my friend. I had to step out since I almost vomited. Management took care of our check (after I advised), but I won't be back. The restaurant was empty minus a few diners and now I understand why. The bartender was behind the bar taking selfies. It was entertaining to watch as she made faces and put her glasses on and off whilst taking photos. Irrespective of how busy (or not) the restaurant is, I don't think one should be doing that in front of the few customers the restaurant had on a Thursday evening.

Dave B.

Yelp
Voted a top 100 inexpensive restaurants in the area. Had drinks and dinner here with a group of friends after work; 10 total. It was a small-ish place with outdoor seating and a decent bar inside. I had two draft beer and the grilled salmon and broccoli. It was great and we enjoyed the cozy outdoor seating.

Nikki P.

Yelp
Meh. I recommend staying away from the Cauliflower pizza crust bc there's a chance it could come out soggy. The Brussel sprouts got praise from the table as well as the inferno pizza and the fried Cauliflower. The manager, Jenny, is fantastic! Thank you so much Jenny for taking care of our table.

Tailor D.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! A bit pricey, but totally in line with the area. Fantastic drinks and superb appetizers! Plus, the staff is some of the friendliest I've ever encountered in DC. Will definitely return. Food The whipped feta is heavenly! It has slight undertones of honey and the bread they serve it with is supersoft. Also loved the avocado and quinoa appetizer. The carrot cake cupcake was small but flavorful. Unfortunately they were all out of the bread pudding, but I will be sure to try that next time! Accessibility The space is a bit cramped for a large wheelchair, but I would say it is accessible overall and the staff did everything in their power to make our experience a positive one. Management Can't remember my waiter's name, but he is a young guy with dark hair who works on Friday nights and is uber friendly! He danced with a female patron and was so funny and down-to-earth with my entire group.

Stuart M.

Yelp
Showed up for happy hour and they said sit anywhere. They were accommodating. Service was attentive, and with a smile. The industrial ambiance felt right. As for the food, we started with cauliflower fritti. They feta red pepper dipping sauce was subtle, so as to not compete with the delicate cauliflower. Then we tried roasted carrots with quinoa brittle, and ricotta lightly topped with honey. We were told to expect spice, but there was no heat. But the flavors played well off each other. We added a house salad that had fresh ingredients and a nice dressing. We concluded with the verdura pizza with zucchini, eggplant, red pepper, onions, olives, mozzarella, and red sauce. The wood fired oven produced a nice smoky aroma, and a crisp crust. Despite all the veggies, this was more than rabbit food. It was quite good. Here is a chance to enjoy happy hour pricing while taking in a wide array of healthy ingredients at the table of your choice. A combination that is hard to replicate.

Nicole G.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with a bunch of coworkers. There is a lot of outdoor seating but we opted to sit inside. I really liked the design of the space, lots of cool things to look at and lots of natural light for photos. Service was fast, friendly, and accommodating with special requests. I'm currently on a doctor recommended diet to cut gluten out, so I ordered the meatball pizza with gluten free crust. The waiter came back to let me know that the meatballs have breadcrumbs and if I wanted to swap out toppings. I don't have a serious gluten allergy, but it was very considerate and cool that the waiter checked in with me. I wasn't actually a huge fan of the flavor and texture of the crust, but all the other food I sampled was great! Our table shared the white pizza and whipped feta and roasted carrots. Both were delicious, especially the white pizza! The beer and cocktail list looked amazing, and I would love to come back to try more.

Yelp
Alatri Bros. is a cute spot in Woodmont Triangle. Fun and funky, with great music, plenty of tables and bar space, and a shared patio with its sister restaurant. I'm a fan of this place. Service is a bit spotty. On my first visit, I was with a group. We had made reservations, and the hostess had no clue and no spot reserved for us. She did find us some tables, but I found that extremely poor and a bit alarming. Our server was amazing though, which is appreciated. On my second visit, I sat at the bar, and service there was fantastic. I'm a fan of their sangria. It's quite refreshing, and strong, so that makes me happy, though I do find it a bit sweet. So far, I've tried cauliflower fritti, wings, buffalo-style Brussels sprouts, and two pizzas: the Tomato & Mozzarella Pie and the Verdura. The cauliflower fritti is perfectly fried and deliciously addictive with its feta and red pepper dipping sauce. Buffalo-style Brussels sprouts seems like something that could easily go awry, but the sprouts are crisp and have right amount of buffalo sauce. This dish might even convert a Brussels sprouts hater into a lover. Wings definitely hit the spot if you are looking for that classic wings and pizza combo. The pizza is great. The crust has that rustic wood-oven char that adds flavor and depth to a pizza. The pizzas are not heavily-topped (not that the toppings are skimpy), but you don't end up with a mess, and they reheat well the next day. It's hard to say which pizza I prefer, as I love both. For traditionalists, stick with the Tomato & Mozzarella Pie. For vegetable aficionados, go with the Verdura, which is all about the veggies. Their liquor, beer, and wine selection is small but well-curated; I haven't had a cocktail, though there's some choices that have piqued my interested. Alatri Bros. has a rather full happy hour menu, which is appreciated. Alatri Bros. rivals some of my favorite DC pizza places, and I look forward to returning.

Yelp
I came here for the first time with my co-workers for Happy Hour on a Tuesday afternoon. First of all, how did I not notice this place before?? I've been to Gringos and Mariachis and Caddies so many times, but never seemed to stop and try out Alatri Bros. Maybe because their restaurant sign was not directly in my face when I had walked by. I would highly recommend everyone try out this place for their Happy Hour deals/menu/drinks. In addition, they have daily specials as well. Fortunately, on Tuesdays, they have the 1 pizza, 1 beer, and 1 shot for $18. Not a bad deal! Being a foodie and instragramer, I just had to order pretty much everything off of the appetizer menu. And having a vegetarian in the group, we decided to primarily order veggie options (aside from the $5 hot wings ;)). I am very happy that we decided to get mostly the vegetable plates, as they were very delicious, flavorful, and beautifully plated/presented. To start, I had an old-fashioned (not on the HH menu). Perfect refreshing drink to start my afternoon. We ordered the battered cauliflower, hot wings, spicy carrots, tomato crostini (bruschetta basically) and whipped feta with flat bread to start. I would say that the vegetable plates were remarkable. The cauliflower was crisp on the outside, soft and full of flavor. Plus it was coupled with a spicy whipped feta dip. The wild carrots, were also deliciously roasted with some quinoa and topped with honey, salsa verde and served with whipped feta on the side as well. Finally, the tomato crostinis were light, crispy, and refreshing. Loved the diced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil and balsamic glaze. No complaints. Simply delicious and beautiful. The hot wings were typical wings. Not bad, nor remarkable. I'm always down to try chicken wings. The highlight was the Verdura Pizza (veggie option). They did this very well. The thin crusted, wood-fired pizza was topped with fresh mozzarella, eggplant, red peppers, portobello mushrooms, zucchini, red onions, and kalamata olives. Now, that is how a vegetable pizza is constructed to satiate any novices' palate. It tasted wonderful. I was very pleased with the restaurant. Great service, friendly staff, and patio seating outside that suits a sunny day. I will definitely be back again to try and hit all the meaty options on the menu. Thanks!

Parisa M.

Yelp
The ambience is laid back rustic.. would strongly recommend for Happy hour! They have 5$ appetizers and 9$ pizzas that can be shared between minimum 3 people. As far as appetizers: Edamame: pan fried and then lightly seasoned with salt. Delicious. Would recommend if you want something different from common edamame you would get at sushi restaurant. French fries: crispy and tender. Whipped feta: amazing oven baked bread with garlic, whipped feta is creamy and not overtly salty Grilled vegetables with ricotta and honey: vegetables grilled perfectly spiced with mustard seeds and ricotta infused with honey. Delicious. Cauliflower fritti: perfectly battered cauliflower grilled and crispy along with feta and pepper dipping sauce: deifnitly recommend. Verdura pizza: a vegetarian's paradise. The pizza is cooked in the wood burning oven and Includes zucchini, eggplant, red pepper, onion, portobello, red pepper, fresh mozzarella. I would strongly recommend! If you are vegan get it without cheese! Chicken wings: crispy and not too greasy. Not too spicy. Amazing! In summary: place gets 4 for ambience and hospitality and about 3.5 for food. Would come back for happy hour in the future.

Yelp
Wow. The food was incredible. My fiancé and I came to Alatri Bros. during Restaurant Week. The dinner special consisted of a three-course meal with wine or beer for $30. Being that the special was something affordable, we were both expecting small portions. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised. The Buffalo Brussels Sprouts and Whipped Feta that we chose for appetizers were huge portions and absolutely delicious. I could eat the Brussels Sprouts for every meal; they were tremendous. For entrees we had the Zoodles with Beef Meatballs and the Alsace pizza. Again, the food was amazing. The sauce for the Zoodles was divine. Lastly, we had the Strawberry Gelato and the Fried Pizza Dough with Caramel and Chocolate. I couldn't speak any more highly of Alatri Bros. I definitely hope to be back soon. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food incredible.

Yelp
I've been coming to Alatri Bros. since it was called Mia's. Usually, I've always had a good experience, even when ordering delivery. But last night I ordered take out, and waited an extra 15 minutes beyond the time the order was due. My order was a simple single calzone. Since I had good experiences before, I didn't really mind waiting a little bit longer, but when I opened the box I could immediately tell something was wrong. First, it didn't have the typical half-moon shape you'd usually expect from a calzone. It looked literally like a ten inch pizza with more dough on top of the toppings. The very top layer of crust was burnt in the center (I imagine as the crust rose in the oven), but about a third of it was visibly less cooked than the other parts, as if they forgot to rotate it while cooking (hence the burning in parts and uncooked in others). I cut into it and sure enough the fillings are luke warm at best. Worst of all, the dough itself in the inner lining of the calzone is still pull-apart and spongelike. Imagine eating an uncooked ball of dough, with lukewarm, runny ricotta cheese. I don't understand how I waited longer only for it to come out uncooked. Including tip, I paid $20 for this single calzone that was handed to me without any quality control beforehand. Saving grace goes to the hostess and host who empathized with my wait time and went back several times to check on my order. Unfortunately, the four cooks in the kitchen and the employee whose sole responsibility was ostensibly to just run completed orders to the table were not up to par.

Yelp
Margherita pizza arrived way faster than I expected and was still piping hot. The basil seem to have been freshly picked from a local garden. The anchovies blended perfectly into each slice. The crust was superb, the pizza was cooked to perfection. The flavor was exactly what it should be. Thanks What a wonderful experience.

Yelp
A group of about 15 of us from work went here for a holiday get-together on a Monday afternoon - we sat in their heated outdoor patio and ordered some food and drinks. It was a great experience - the service was pleasant, the ambience just what we wanted, and the food quite good (I some pizza). The pizza is not too greasy and the bread was just right. From the experience, I recommend.

Yelp
Very happily surprised to find a place like this close to the Bethesda metro station. The decor wasn't what I expected to find at a pizza joint - super cute and inviting - and they have a nice outdoor patio space as well. Great service at the bar, good deals on beer and wine for happy hour, great looking menu as well. They had a shrimp pizza on special when we came so we tried that and it was delicious. I also indulged in the Walk the Dead cocktail (very good) and a glass of the red sangria. I'll definitely be back to try more off the menu!

Yelp
This pizza is soul-reviving. Seriously. I've been here a few times now and have never left disappointed. I'm a huge fan of the wild mushroom pizza, but will one day have to force myself to branch out. Toppings aside, the crust of Alatri Bros. pizza is perfection. It is a lovely balance of crisp that holds up against the cheese and sauce with a nice chewy crust to wrap it up. I've gone in here after a cold and rainy day and left feeling completely elated. Believe it or not, I can't say that about many "pizza" places. Beyond pizza, the appetizers and drinks are wonderful. This is becoming a favorite casual date night for me.
